We had the most amazing dinner at Lenny's. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location. It's a great restaurant and the food is the best out East.

Cauliflower Crusted Pizza was PHENOMENAL!!! Even the kids loved it!!!! The wild mushroom slice was my go to but this blew my mind!!! Bravo Lenny!

This review is a year in the making. On July 25, 2018 my Wife, my Daughters and I were exploring Long Island New York as we celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary. Ron S at Jamesport Vineyard recommended Lenny’s as the best slice around. Now, we grew up near Chicago so there are some preconceived notions towards New York style pizza but we were hungry and had to try it. Ronnie our waitress made us feel at home from the time we were seated. This is a unique restaurant with a stunning dining room and bar on one side and a casual hang out place on the other. Ronnie explained that the owner and our chef that night was a former baker and took great pride in the product he puts on your table. We couldn’t agree more! What we thought was going to be a Mom and Pop pizza experience far exceeded expectations. It was a fine dining experience that was unexpected. The food placed upon our table was fabulous. From the very fresh ingredients to that top shelf sauce to the crust it all rested on. Oh, that crust. My mouth is watering as I write this just thinking about it. We apologize to the fine folks at Lenny’s for taking so long to share this review. We recently celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary and still reminisce about that day in Jamesport. It’s long overdue but thank you Ronnie for the hospitality and sharing the owners passion with us. We highly recommend you discover for yourself this delicious, one of a kind, pizza experience.

All of these reviews couldn't be more accurate. Lenny's restaurant was a pleasant surprise. When Lenny heard we were from out of town came over and met up with us. That was really impressive. I visit have a Southold often...and I'm going to be making the trips to Jamesport get more of Lenny's truly amazing pizza.

This restaurant is one of my favorite places out east. They always have the best food, and the staff is top shelf. The portions are big and the cooking is perfect. If you are out that way, stop in. If it's a slice or a full dinner you will be happy.

Stopped on our way home from spending the weekend in Jamesport, NY. I had linguine with clam sauce. It was fresh and delicious. Give this place a try !

Lenny's in the best pizza in town. Be sure to stop in here for a slice or entire pie. Their crust is just the right amount of crispy, and you can tell the cheese is of a high quality and sets this place apart. Bigger cities would love to have this quality of pizza, but many do not have anything close to Lenny's!

Everyone has their favorite pizza. Lennys is my favorite pizza, including the Sicilian! You can tell they use quality ingredients. Always clean, and the case is always full. Love Lennys!

3 people, 3 dinners, eggplant parm, chicken marsala and chicken piccata, all were excellent! So much food had it for lunch the next day.. Wait staff excellent! Price’s, excellent! WARM FRESH LOAF OF BREAD! don’t see that much anymore.

Great place, fantastic food... perfect beer and Lenny is only too happy to join you for a quick one, which becomes three or four.... Always a great meal either sit down or take out and warm cisy venue. My favorite, cooked to perfection is the anchovy and jalepeno pizza ...gotta try it...you will love it!!

Lenny’s Wild Mushroom Pizza is out of this world!

Been going here since I was born and it’s my favorite pizzeria of all time. I currently live in NYC but my parents still live out here. I refuse to get pizza in the city because it doesn’t stack up to Lenny’s. I typically get the chicken, bacon, ranch slice or Buffalo chicken.

Friendly staff. Nice thin crispy pizza. Flavorful sauce and delicious homemade meatballs. Bar and dining room section was closed (opens at 4pm) but took a peek and it looked really nice. I'm not from the area but work at the Valero gas station around the corner and was recommended to me by many customers as a good place to eat.

Happen to be in Jamesport and found an outstanding pizza Italian restaurant in a strip mall as we were driving by. On visit we each tried a different dish. The chicken parm was baked yo perfection w lots if cheese and 2 large cutlets. The Eggplant parm was ss good as my grandma made. The chicken marsala was so delicious w plenty if chicken medallions and mushrooms in a perfectly lite sauce Every dinner is served with pasta and the bread is sooo fresh and tasty. Even the chicken walnut salad was tremendous w wonderful dressing and fresh Sliced chicken. If u are in Jamesport look up Lenny's of Jamesport you will not be disappointed.

Went to Lenny's Tuesday night and I am so glad I did. The waitress was such a sweetheart, the service was excellent and the food was incredible. Their bread, which is made on site, was out of this world. I got the marsala with angel hair and would get it again in a heartbeat. Can not wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Had Lenny's cater a family party. Planning the menu was fun and easy. Great customer service and very friendly. They really went the extra step to help make our party memorable. Food was outstanding. Everyone raved. I would definitely order from them again.

Always a great meal. My wife and I are both watching our carbs and sugar intake. I got the veal sorrentino and my wife got chicken franchaise, no bread ( which at Lenny's is really hard to do) and no pasta!! We got salads and spinach with garlic and oil. My wife has another meal from her leftovers. Food was delicious!!

Loved it. We had a specialty slice and a Sicilian slice. Both were great. The wild mushroom/caramelized onions and gorgonzola cheese slice was really one of the best slices i ever had. Service was good too. Will go back soon.

Excellent pizzas by the slice, rice balls and heros. The homemade tomato sauce is super tasty. Most of all, the service is outstanding. The lady behind the counter was kind, helpful and patient. Will come back when we’re in the area again!

Went to Lenny's with my Dad and ordered the chicken parm and he got a chicken and pasta meal. The portions were large and tasty. Service was good and the atmosphere was great. Prices were within reasion. I would recommend this place.

I am a Shipt shopper and travel to Riverhead once or twice a week. After a long day, I always look for something fast, delicious, and satisfying. Since I love Italian food, I googled an Italian restaurant nearby and came across Lenny Pizza & Bistro. My first visit was on September 22, 2025, when I ordered the baked ziti, sautéed spinach, and garlic knots. This was actually my first time ever having freshly baked garlic knots—and they were incredible! That entire meal was so delicious, I knew I’d be back. On September 29, 2025, I returned and tried the meat lasagna with the sautéed spinach and garlic knots—it was absolutely perfect. Yesterday, I found myself craving that lasagna again and just had to go back. Once more, I ordered the meat lasagna, spinach, and garlic knots, and it was every bit as amazing as the last time. The food here is consistently fresh, flavorful, and comforting—exactly what I need after a long workday. I can honestly say Lenny Pizza & Bistro has quickly become my go-to spot in Riverhead. 6/14/25 Once again, Lenny’s comes through with a delicious and amazing dinner. Debbie our waitress made this a fun evening of chat and dining. She took great care of us. Let’s start by saying that have the best bread on Long Island, made on site!!!!! And they give you plenty of it!!!! I ordered the veal parm dinner with a side of linguini marinara. The veal was delicious tender and fried just right. You could cut it with a fork. My wife had the Fettuccini Supreme, fettuccini with portobello, sun dried tomatoes and shrimp in a garlic pesto sauce, it was so delicious!!!!!!!! We always have an amazing dining experience at Lennys! 8/6/23 Another awesome dinner at Lennys! This place is really awesome with their food, hospitality and prices. Tonight we ordered mozzarella sticks which were hot and crisp served with a vodka sauce. I decided to go with something different than my usual Veal Parm (which is always great at &Lenny’s) and I got the Rigatoni Bolognese. It was delicious and a very large portion too! We also ordered the eggplant parm which was enjoyed by my wife and daughter and an order of fettuccini Alfredo which was hot and creamy! Lenny’s always comes through with an excellent dinner. **************************++++*+++ Tonight we came across a really fine Italian restaurant and pizzeria. Ronnie our waitress was so amazing and helpful. She took great care of us and her service was great. Tonight I had the veal cardinale was amazing. It is a break cutlet in a marsala reduction, mozzarella, prosciutto and shallots. It was so delicious and a very generous portion, served with a side of pasta. Delicious! My wife had the chicken francaise which she enjoyed as well. Both orders were generous and served with their fresh Italian bread. I highly recommend Lenny's. Their food is amazing, delicious and nice size!

After moving away from LI as a kid, Lenny's wasn't around. Are many a slice amar Carlos and Sergio's, but after coming back home to visit family, I go no where else than Lemmy's in Jamesport. I can't get a slice or a pie like this in Maine. Lenny's pizza is absolutely delicious, and IMO is absolutely the best on the North Fork! My family agrees! Had to shake Lenny's hand and tell him and he gave me the warmest hug, well done sir!

Wish we discovered Lenny’s sooner. Immediately took me back to the days I lived in Brooklyn and LI. Lenny’s exceeded my expectations. Fresh ingredients — all bursting with flavor. Perfect sauces, real cheeses (not plastic-like as so many seem to be), generous whole ingredients. We will be going back and loading up to bring home extras to Vermont. Friendly service too. I most often order one of the seafood dinners, which I almost always find delicious and fresh. Some may find the price a little high, but for what you get, it is well worth it. Homemade bread is very good as well.

Been going for years. I usually get the Grandmas pizza extra garlic and basil but this past Saturday the 20th was the best pizza I’ve ever had and I grew up in towns, Scotto’s Port Wash and Queens Graziellas that had made the best pizzas. Lenny’s IMHO is consistent and hasn’t disappointed me yet.

Pizza is great and the people are friendly. The chicken parm pizza was loaded with chicken and cheese. This is a great pizza place thats not know by many who are just out for the vineyards so there isnt that big of a crowd.

My friend suggested Lenny's because one of her customers raved about the pizza there. We tried it and were not disappointed! Lenny's offers a casual atmosphere with both sit-down dining room eating with a full-service bar, as well as pizza parlor type dining and take out. I can only speak to the pizza, having ordered a slice of the wild mushroom with caramelized onion. This thin-crust NY style pizza offered an explosion of wonderful flavor with every bite. As I was getting to the last few bites of my slice, I said to my friend, "I don't want this to end!" It was THAT good. I have tried pizzas from all over and, having grown up in Manhattan--which has some of the best pizzerias on earth, I can honestly say that Lenny's pizza is top notch. Next time I'm on the beautiful North Fork, I will definitely go back to Lenny's! You should, too!

Lenny's is soooo good. There are always specials, and Lobster Bisque was the soup of the night. He does small batches of soup and every one of them is delicious. Go see Debbie the waitperson on Monday nights. She has a wonderful demeanor and is a pleasure. Be sure to chat with Lenny -- great guy who's a local toughing it out year round on the North Fork. This place is "Old School" and I mean that in a good way. No frills, nothing fancy. Just really solid, New York style Italian food. There is also a nice group of local, regular customers. This is evidence of quality, consistency and value. I'm a fan.

Food was great! Pasta was a bit pricey but it was a large portion so I think it was well worth it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We came here bc the other restaurant we wanted to go to didn't have an opening until 930pm. We had young kids with us so we randomly came upon Lenny's. There's a pizzeria side and a restaurant side. We sat in the restaurant side. The service was a bit slow but when we got the pizza and pasta it was well worth the wait. Probably one of the best linguine and clam sauce we've ever had. Big chunks of clams and the flavor really came through. The pizza crust was nice and thin and sauce was well seasoned. We will definitely be back the next time we are in this part of town.

So, I had hoped to belly up to the bar at Lenny's to have dinner and a few drinks, but the dining room was closed on a Tuesday. I did choose to eat at the diner portion of the restaurant and I'm glad I did. The Baked Ziti was fabulous as well as the house salad that I started with. Debbie, was the gem of the establishment. A great and very personable host. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

The food is good but not worth the prices. It’s the highest priced pizza place that I’ve been to on the island. It’s good regular food, staff is nice, I just can’t get over their pricing.

Manager yesterday was incompetent in regards to customer service. Ordered the firewood wild mushroom pizza and received a regular oven baked mushroom pizza. I didn't make a big deal out of it because our server was new to the job, but when the check came in I asked him to adjust the price since we didn't get what we paid for. The manager said no adjustment and didn't even do it in person. Clearly he wasn't interested in us returning to his establishment. He earned that.

I have been going to this pizza place my whole life . Loved the food here until today. I spoke to a very rude woman on the phone trying to order. Then they told me they couldn’t make what I wanted because I do not eat red sauce! I asked for a chicken parm dinner with Alfredo sauce I’m sorry seems pretty simple to me ? You just change the sauce? They wouldn’t do it! Unfortunately I will never give them business again! Very disappointed!

Totally mistreated my wife while she was there with her nieces and nephews and others, then tried lying to me by saying they were busy when pictures from my wife’s phone was the complete opposite. I can only speculate why “certain” people are treated a certain way in certain places, but that’s up for debate. Thankfully I wasn’t there, as I am not as nice and my money is just as good and probably better than anyone else who patrons there, especially from Suffolk County. Never go there again.

Ordered Lenny’s carbonara for takeout tonight I’ve had his carbonara many times and loved it not so tonight the sauce was completely broken my linguine was swimming in oil and the clumps of parm all over the past was an unappetizing look overall taste ok but couldn’t get by that broken sauce. I won’t order that for take out again

NOT recommended. I paid 27 dollars and some change for an 18" round with 3 toppings. The pizza was greasy(pools of it), the sauce very near tasteless, and just... below average pizza. I ordered it topped with bacon, and I barely got ANY bacon on there and they skimmped on the black olives, too. They don't have hamburger\beef as an option. The service over the phone was not very polite, she sounded like she hated her job and didn't want to be taking my order. Seriously, Pizza Hut is better than this place, and I don't even like Pizza Hut that much. I will not be ordering here ever again or recommending it to anyone. Ordered this pizza on May 30, 2014 near 6pm. I suggest you place your order somewhere else. Sorry, folks. A terrible disappointment as my first NY pizza experience. I feel bad for dissing the place. Everyone seems to think Lenny is a nice guy with good pizza. The only in charge looking guy I saw there was arguing with another cook and looked very displeased. :( I came to this place because of the good reviews. Guess I shouldn't trust the internet.

If you want to pay 16$ and some change for 3 slices of pizza this is the place for you. Meanwhile the price advertised for speciality slices is 3.50$ a slice. After ordering and looking at the sign I get rung up for the 3 slices and it was 16$ and some change told the girl at the counter what the menu said and she said she would look into it and then proceeded to take my money and help the next without doing anything or looking into anything. I will also add the guy in front of me got charged 3.50 a slice for 2 slices. I used to love lennys and have given it 5 star rating before but now I will never go back. Just a heads up for anyone who wants to get charges a full pur price for 3 slices

Clean, great service , food was not as expected and a little pricey. Sauce seemed to be sugared up.... too sweet , portions were decent size but pricey. Fresh bread was excellent. Pizza in the showcase looked as if it had been there for days, not hours and definitely not appetizing! $10 for a glass of wine ? Won't be returning ........ Not worth the price !
