This place is a must if you ski Sierra. On top of the Grandview hair. Delicious sandwiches and good beer at the top of the world. Good vibes, and a fair price after the season pass discount. Excellent lunch stop.

Love it so much. Having lunch there is the best experience you'll have on the mountain. You get to wear warm fuzzy slippers while your boots and gloves dry and get warmed up.

I wanted a low-key meal so I ordered one of the sides: the chili with onions and cheese. I also wanted a cocktail, any cocktail with espresso, but they didn't have a coffee machine. They did have some coffee drip(??) and said they could make a mix of whiskey, Bailey's, and coffee. I don't think there was a name for it, but it was pretty decent. When I went to the cooks, I liked their vibes but they didn't have matching face tattoos like I initially thought haha but they got great attitudes!

I enjoyed the flagship sandwich, I think it was called King. The meats were well prepared and not sauced at all. Adding my own desired sauce amount was a big plus.

Best food on any mountain I've been to in Tahoe. Pulled pork and BBQ brisket are amazing! Bonus: they have slippers and boot dryers!

The food is great and plentiful, but even without it, the free slippers and boot/glove warmers/dryers make this place stand out bread and shoulders above the main lodge or Baja grill. Also, going down after lunch is easy -- just take "Sugar and spice"

Great food at very reasonable prices. Loved the combination plate and sides. The meat in the burgers was a little on the dry side but overall fresh and properly seasoned. Fries were awesome, corn bread was moist and fresh, potato salad was tasty and the Mac and cheese was outstanding. Great atmosphere and awesome staff.

Try the deep fried green beans to go along side your brisket. The staff are great. Sure they see me a lot, but still its cool to chat based on shared experience and love of the mountains while ignoring our 45 ear age difference. (I too was once that ski bum)

Can't beat that view! My wife was not impressed by the food. For me it was about what I expected. The kale-salaw was pretty tasty, but the meat was not top quality. Over priced resort food. What are you going to do? But that view was killer!

Of the places to eat in Sierra at Tahoe this is probably my second favorite, the first being the bar at the bottom of the mountain. We had the BBQ sandwiches, one brisket and one chicken. The chicken sandwich was significantly less meat filled than the brisket. The brisket was pretty good and slightly juicy and the included slaw and potato salad are good. If you upgrade your sides, you get one helping of your chosen upgrade instead of the potato salad and slaw. There is a full complement of Sweet Baby Ray's sauces available. Downstairs, there are complimentary glove and helmet warmers, as well as some comfy looking slippers (which seems kinda gross to me). There is also a full bar here.

Place and staff are very nice. Management sucks! Christmas day, this place was crowed and just one person in bar to help with boozes and food order. Just one person flipping the burgers too.

Beautiful view atop the mountain! They ran out of hamburgers today which seemed odd. I still love this place.

Prices for a Pepsi and a beer were ridiculous, but what can you expect you came for the snow. Up top is an amazing deck where you can see all of South lake and mountains as far as the eye can see. It's a perfect spot to take a breather and get some grub before going back at it.

Just had a beer, but friends wanted to eat - food service closed & it wasn't even 2 o'clock yet!! What's up with that!? Not even 2 o'clock & you can't get food on a Friday !!?

Food was made quickly, it's not that big inside, so you might have to wait for a table on busier days. You need to pay to get up the hill to enter, not worth it.

It's a Covid world so maybe that's why, but the burgers were not made to order and not warm at all. When you're hungry you'll eat a cold burger.

So I got the steak chili, jalapeno cornbread and onion rings. Turns out the jalapeno cornbread is tiny and without jalapeno, and the steak chili has no steak in it. Maybe they'll do better some other time. View is great from the top.
