My poblano burrito was delicious and HUGE. The prices are for regular people (not the tourist places down the road) and the atmosphere is small mom and pop. The salsa bar is awesome and has several kinds of salsas. We’d definitely recommend!

We were looking for some good authentic Mexican food and boy did we find it. This place was so much better than some crappy $25 tacos at the base of the mountain that's for sure. Well worth the drive.

Wow! Amazing food! Birria Taco were incredible. We ate outside at their tables. Our dog was allowed on the patio with us! Definitely recommend. Very friendly.

Street Tacos are what I would order from here. California burrito was ok. Other Taco Shops have better though.

Absolutely amazing!! Popped in and it wasn’t too busy, the staff was incredibly friendly. The food though, we had 5 different taco types and they’re some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. They’re small so I’d recommend getting 3 or even 4 if you’re hungry. They taste incredible and give you a feeling of home. I’d recommend the pollo and pastor tacos the most. The chicken tacos illicit the same feeling ad home made chicken soup. Also the decor is amazing and super clean! We happened to see the hostess clean one of the tables and she was super industrious about it. Will come again!

We had a great experience last night. Arrived 10 min before close (so sorry!) and they graciously welcome all 17 of us with warm smiles. The food was delicious, seating great, but the service was amazing. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality!

Great burritos! I like that there's lettuce in the Super burrito, adds a nice freshness & crunch. Great salsa bar and very friendly staff. Not to be confused with the other Jalisco's in town. Also great, no apparent relation.

There was a line when we had gotten there. The employee was friendly. We ordered several types of tacos and michelada to was them down with. The tacos come with just the meat and tortilla. There is a salsa bar where you yourself will go and dress up the tacos. All the salsas were delicious! The meat was yummy! It was worth all the wait! We will come back.

I got the chicken taco combo and horchata, and it was delicious. The combo comes with rice, beans, sour cream, and guacamole. The food was great and the service was great too. Typical taqueria vibes under the Pines in beautiful lake tahoe. What could be better?!

I can see why this location has high ratings, because it definitely deserves them! Quality food with great cheap prices! I was doubtful of all the high ratings, but now that I went, they truly didn’t disappoint. Recommend!!! Beautiful location as well.

We found out about this place from a local, and boy were they right about the best Mexican food in Tahoe. You know the food is going to be fire when they say "we prefer cash, but card is ok too 😁", a very nice mom's and pop shop, with a huge serving size and very very reasonable prices. 10/10 will come here again next time I'm in Tahoe.

It was ok, lacks flavor for sure. They charge 1$ for chips, which is fine but you get like 10 chips...

Didn’t really enjoy, tasted very bland and 1 dollar for every side including sour cream.

So far im disappinted in the quality of food served.and managment?No street sign indicating mexican restuant.no street address?my 3 taco combo was.disapointing.dry hard taco shells .meat was prepared hard and dry too.diced chicken meat? did not like the food.? Buyer be ware?
