We found this place on Christmas Eve while staying at the Marriott resort, which made it incredibly convenient—especially with the snow coming down hard and us not wanting to drive anywhere. My wife and I jumped on the website and decided to build our own medium-sized pizza. We went with a garlic base, four-cheese blend, pineapple, and pepperoni. Let me tell you—this was the chef’s kiss of a perfect pizza. I don’t know how many attempts it took to create this kind of magic, but I’m very thankful you did, because it was absolutely delicious.

This was hands down the best pizza we’ve ever had in our 8 years of living in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The manager Randy was super friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. If you’re craving a super delicious pizza, this is the definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Base Camp Pizza! The pizza was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and full of flavor. It’s definitely one of the best pizza spots around. The only thing to note is that the wait time can be pretty long during busy weekends, but it’s worth it once you’re seated. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Definitely a must-visit spot! The service and attention are absolutely outstanding! The pizzas are hands down the best and most delicious in the area. It’s a pet-friendly restaurant, and their margaritas are out of this world! One tip: make a reservation ahead of time — there’s usually a wait, but it’s totally worth it. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!! 🫶🏼 🍕

This was our best food experience of our Tahoe trip. Though it was super busy, we were seated immediately. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and the food came out super fast. Hats off to the kitchen, to have that many people in the restaurant and for the food quality and speed in which it came out was super impressive. We started with a Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks and garlic butter fries and they were all really good, and though these are all pretty basic menu items, they did each well. The Caesar dressing wasn't as funky as I prefer, but it was still great. We ordered a very meaty pizza, which I don't remember the name of, and some cheese ravioli with Italian sausage and they were both exceptional. We would definitely come back and recommend to anyone

It's a fun place with outside seating for children who are below the allowed age for drinking alcohol. The service is sketchy but they get around to you, friendly and helpful staff but the place is perennially crowded! Our dinner experience was pleasant, with live music and outdoor seating (the indoor wait was 20–30 minutes). We ordered calamari, wings, the pear and walnut salad, a large Big Mountain pizza, and a medium Pear & Gorgonzola pizza. I especially loved the salad, and my husband really enjoyed the pizza. We also appreciated the large glasses of water to help us stay hydrated. Our server was professional, which added to the overall positive experience. It started raining toward the end of our dinner, and we got a little wet. There were outdoor umbrellas, which we tried to open to keep ourselves dry while we quickly paid the bill.

We stopped by this pizza spot and ordered the Fire Roasted Medley—so good! They gave us their house-made ranch on the side, and it was absolutely heavenly. My husband and I devoured the whole pizza—it was that good! We got there a bit late and didn’t realize you needed a reservation for indoor seating (first time in Tahoe!), so we couldn’t dine in. Luckily, the restaurant offers takeout even without a reservation. We grabbed our pizza and found a cozy bench outside in the beautiful Heavenly Village. The atmosphere at night was amazing, and enjoying our pizza outdoors made the experience even better. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot—zero complaints. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area!

We decided to visit this place because of its high rating; however, unfortunately, our experience wasn’t as good as we expected. At first glance, the pizza looked great — plenty of toppings and nicely presented — but overall the flavor was quite average, and the price felt a bit high for the quality. Our second dish was the wings, which were definitely better. Not the best we’ve had, but fairly good. The ranch sauce was excellent and a great addition to the wings — it really elevated the dish. On the positive side, the location is great, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is polite and friendly. Service was fast: we waited no more than 5 minutes for a table, and the food arrived in about 10 minutes. Overall, the service left a good impression.

We decided to give Base Camp Pizza a try since it’s rated so highly and often recommended in the area. The location is convenient, right in the center of Heavenly Village, but keep in mind that parking requires a fee, which is a bit of a downside. We came on a Monday evening around dinner time and had about a 15 minute wait, which wasn’t too bad. The staff were very friendly and efficient — service was definitely one of the highlights. We ordered the Caesar Salad and the Base Camp Pizza. Both dishes were good but not quite as amazing as we expected based on the reviews. The pizza had a thin crust and reminded us of Blaze Pizza in both texture and flavor, tasty, but nothing particularly unique. The salad, we ordered large, was fresh and nicely dressed, though a bit small for the price. The atmosphere was casual and lively, but there’s currently some construction nearby that takes away from the overall dining experience. Another small inconvenience is that guests have to use the public bathrooms in the shopping area instead of on-site facilities. Prices felt slightly high for what you get, but it’s understandable given the prime location in the village. Overall, a solid option if you’re already in the area and want a quick, friendly place for pizza, but not necessarily worth going out of your way for.

Great location. We waited 15 minutes to get a table. The food came out quickly. Expensive for what we got. $35 for a pizza is overpriced. The pizza was decent. The cheese sticks were expensive and small quantity, especially from a box. Several beer and wines to choose from. It was decent but nothing exceptional like the reviews indicate. No live music just radio. Bathrooms are outside the restaurant in the general area.

I will start by saying my review may be biased since I work at the best, most incredible pizza restaurant in our local town. However, this review is necessary since the pizza we got was a massive let down. Also, others can view the photo & make their own judgements. We ordered our kids a small cheese pizza to go to share in our hotel room & wow. Yikes, see my photo! Saying we were disappointed when we opened the box, is like the understatement of the century. It was over $18 for this!!? We immediately regretted ordering it, haha. It did not even fill the size of the small box & it was like the crust was pre-made or something, idk. There was barely any sauce or cheese on it either. It was just insane to us. We will definitely not be returning!

I’ve been visiting Tahoe a bunch of times and always see a line of people trying to get a table here, and finally try it. We got spaghetti and bolognese, wings, couple of pizzas. I’m sorry but need to pay more attention to doneness of the pasta Bolognese taste more store bought or straight from can. Chewy and plain wings Pizzas was okay.

Pizza is definitely tasty as well as the garlic cheese bread that was ordered. A gratuity was automatically added to my check and was not able to remove it. I believe this is uncalled for especially since my order was placed online and a pickup order. Also received a text to park in a stall and let them know which stall but the only parking available was street parking and a parking garage. Maybe I missed it inside the parking garage.
