Great outdoor patio for dining! Had the Hangover Helper burger and the Paradise Bird chicken sandwich. Both were fantastic! The fried egg on the burger was perfectly cooked, and this was a big 1/2 lb burger. The sweet potato fries were good. Not a fan of shoestring style, but they were still tasty, and there were a ton of them. The breading on the onion rings were perfect! The side salads were great. The blue cheese dressing was watery, but it tasted great, so no complaints. Overall this is a wonderful local burger place I'd go back to any time!

The #1 burger place in Tahoe, hands down. Their cajun fries are to die for. Always fast and friendly service. I love their chicken sandwich and never had any issues customizing orders. I only wish there was one in Gardnerville. 🍔

LOVED the food various vegetarian burger options, the most delicious garlic fries, water available to refill water bottles. and plenty of space outside to sit and eat among trees, similar with parking. nothing to complain about, I was happy! lines moved pretty quick too

Delicious burgers onion rings and fries. They have a nice fairly large patio with umbrellas for shade. Located conveniently off of Emerald Bay Road and near the bike path. There is a bike rack for bicyclists to lock their bikes up. Parking is adequate. The Burger Lounge is a great spot on the way to or from the beach or just for a relaxing tasty meal. I try to stop by every time I visit South Lake Tahoe.

Stopped in for lunch after a little hike before heading back home to the Bay Area. It was our first time eating here and after reading the reviews I was excited to try it. Food was good but the service was pretty lackluster. The restaurant was pretty empty and small (but had extra outdoor seating) and the lady behind the counter didn't seem like she cared to be working there, just quietly watched us as we walked in, no greeting, no smile, just stood at the window waiting without a peep. I looked around and asked if there was a menu and the lady just pointed and said other side, like we were supposed to know. Once looking at the menu, she just continued to silently stare, never asked if we had any questions or offered advice. We ordered our food, two burgers, (Heavenly Burger and Cheese Burger) garlic fries and an unsweetened tea. The food was good and the portions are definitely large enough to share. You will not leave here hungry! The Burgers are HUGE! The biggest burger I've ever had in my life. I couldn't even finish mine, but my husband was able to finish his. We also shared an order of garlic fries which we were delicious. The portion was perfect for sharing, we didn't even finish them all. The unsweetened tea was also very tasty, which maybe had a hint of peach in it? Definitely recommend it. Everything tastes great, but my only complaint about the food was they didn't ask how we wanted our burgers cooked, and they were served well done and boarder lined over cooked. Pictures don't do it justice for showing the size and large portions.

Don’t know what was better here - the burgers and the garlic fries or the amazing ambiance in the middle of all the trees. I got the burger with bacon and my wife got the chicken burger and both were delicious and filling. The seating in the airy outdoors were absolutely refreshing and relaxing after a long day in the sunny beaches of Tahoe.

Place was super cute, had a nice little patio outside to sit at. However the burger and cheese fries were a little bland. The garlic fries, ranch and milkshakes were quite good. But the lady was took our order was rude and impatient, and the food was overpriced.

Very average (to below average) burgers. Good fries (ask for the dipping sauce), and not very pleasant service. The woman taking our order was annoyed by simple questions and short with her answers. The redeeming side is the nice large outdoor seating area in the trees.

Burgers were good but not served hot. Sweet potato fries were warm at best. Burgers not cooked to order (ex: rare, medium or well done). Nice backyard picnic table space for outdoor eating.

They have a great variety of fun options, burgers, hot dogs, elk burgers, and veggie burgers. I was surprised the veggie patty was SO thin (like a 1/4 inch) but it had a yummy flavor. The sweet potato fries were crispy and really skinny. The reg fries a little less thin and good. This place won’t blow you away but it’s got a lot of fun options and isn’t too expensive. I would come again.

My first time here, was disappointed. Had the cheese deluxe. Nothing cheese deluxe about this burger, thin patty and cheese seemed like it was kraft slice cheese and it being a cheese deluxe i thought I would get alot more cheese on it. It was dry also. Had onion rings with this burger no seasoning plan and was slightly burnt.

Cashier acts as if she cannot be bothered. No attentiveness, no smile, no thank you. Food is average at best. Seems like a good place, just maybe not today... 2 adults and 2 kids... all hungry and looking to support the community... but this place...never again. Attitude goes a long way😁
