My Husband and I went for dinner tonight while visiting Lake Tahoe, the food was absolutely fantastic, the burger was top notch, we visited with the owner Edith, what a sweet lady! We wish you all the best in your new ownership! We will see you again soon! Thank you for the wonderful service! Danny, Crystal, and Buster
I set out to honestly just eat something amazing , I didnt care about the price . I googled around while in the hotel . nothing really stood out . kind of wanted a nice steak but saw mixed reviews of even the best places and somehow the thought of a shake as I drove by this place made me stop . I decided to go with the tahoe burger because I assumed its what the special would be . asked to throw in a large strawberry shake . after biting into the burger that basically melted in my mouth with perfection . I immediately tasted the shake . I sat there for a minute .... Never have I felt sooo disrespected by McDon-tknowifimallowedtosayit . this place is way more bang for your buck I'm just sad theres nothing like this in quality or taste near me . I'll never drive by tahoe and not stop here . I regret not buying a burger to go. Leaving this review makes me hungry all over again
Took my two older boys here for a filling lunch and that's exactly what we got. The hamburgers are good size and quite tasty. The fries were hot and crispy. The shakes were delish. Service was pretty quick and friendly. Looking forward to going back and trying a different menu item next time.
Stopped by on the way home to Sacramento and it was great. Ate burgers outside with our dog. Food was good. Friendly service. Had icecream and a shake for dessert. The outdoor water bowls for the pumps was a nice touch. The staff were nice enough to give us tips for local breakfast spots. Will be back!
Old roadside diner with so so service and decor, however, we were framing a malt in Lake Tahoe and after a few visits at high end shops in Heavenly Village (great vibe, gondola view but no malts) we found this- a review cites malts and we can confirm best in town. Parking with the snow and walkways was difficult and treacherous but worth the risk. GO.
Very good customer service, location and food. Very generous portions. There's larger milkshake size feeds 2-3 people. Great ice cream, shakes and food. My favorite stop when i am in Tahoe
This place has vegan and vegetarian options for burgers and that was why we came. Food took a little long to prepare but a larger party had ordered right before us. Everything was delicious!
This place wasn't busy when we arrived and our food was ready with in 5 min. The food was really good. The whole family loved what they got. The grilled chicken sandwich needed a little seasoning on the chicken, but still good with the potato bun. The chilli cheese fries were a hit, but the shakes...oh so good!!
This place was recommended by a local. The hamburgers and fries are so good! The burgers are big, but I devoured mine after a few hours of snowshoe hiking. Friendly staff. Food came out in a timely fashion. Came back a second time before leaving Lake Tahoe.
I love this place for their many unique burgers and amazing shakes and malts! Easy going indoor and outdoor seating not far from Lake Tahoe. It makes me smile. Huge menu with fries and onion rings too!
Great BIG burgers and friendly people. We were in Tahoe for a week and found the place by happenstance. We ended up eating there 3 times because my family enjoyed it so much and there were a lot of us so we had big orders every time and they handled our orders very well.
Burger was great! I was visiting from Atlanta and decided to stop and wasn’t disappointed! Not sure why they have a 3.8 review should be at least 4.5!
We just got ice cream. Service was fast. Ice cream was delicious. Price wasn't to bad for Tahoe. Kinda wish I got fries they looked really good.
Celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at the Sno-Flake. The food was great (burgers and fries) and the atmosphere was pure Tahoe. My wife used to cut school to get ice cream back in the day. The staff were friendly and prompt. Highly recommended...
Soooo excited for the SnowFlake to re-open!!!! Been waiting for the new owners to re-open after months of closure. Burgers were delicious and the soft serve…omg. I’m hoping there’s a chance they bring back the OG menu item….THE Chocolate Dipped Cone. Either way, so grateful the new owners are bringing back the Snowflake. Thank you🙌🏼
Nacho fries were drenched in cheese. The burgers were tasty. The fries were tasty even without cheese. The only down side was the whole gang of kids that took over the entire deck/ eating area. Made the experience of waiting for my food less than ideal. Owners made sure to reach out. First class place.
Great old school ice cream spot. They only have vanilla and chocolate but the ice cream is soft serve and it is so good! They also do root beer floats, milkshakes and sundaes. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again next time I'm in Tahoe.
My fiancé discovered the Sno-Flake Drive-In while looking for a cheap hamburger joint or diner style restaurant. Most of the burger places around the resorts and casinos charge $25-$30 for simple burgers and fries. This restaurant is your stereotypical Dive restaurant with a homey, laid-back atmosphere. The service at the counter was quick and efficient and the food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. The portion sizes are reasonable and the à la carte style menu is great for sharing. We both had cheese burgers and shared chilli cheese fries and still had some of the cheese fries left over for later. We will definitely be back!
After a long day at Palisades, we decided to stop by this little spot on a whim—and what a pleasant surprise! It’s definitely a hidden gem that’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. The place is small and tucked away, but the flavors coming out of that kitchen are anything but ordinary. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and fried pickles, and let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible. The sandwich was perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of spice, and those fried pickles? Addictive! I devoured everything without a second thought. My partner went for the teriyaki burger and was equally impressed. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and left him wanting more. Honestly, we couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was! The atmosphere is simple—it’s what you’d call a classic hole-in-the-wall spot. It’s clean and cozy, but definitely not fancy. Overall, it’s a five-star experience for the food alone, and I’d gladly come back!
For sure the best burger in town! It's a good size and comes with a "special" sauce (probably Thousand Island or something similar), which is a nice chance from just plain ol' ketchup/mayo/mustard. The fries are fresh and crisp every time, and they seem handcut. As of writing this, te cheeseburger regular size meal is $18 and change, which is definitely reflective of Cali prices, but you'll leave full and satisfied! Always friendly service, too, which is just the cherry on the sundae. 🍨
Soo good even better then the pictures definitely try the chili cheese fries
All I can say is WOW! Sno-flake looked and felt great! They had amazing customer service and very yummy food! I loved my teriyaki burger! And my husband loved his bacon burger!!! Fries were amazing as well! Chicken strip were great also!!! Can't wait to go back again! 🥳🤩 new favorite burger spot!!!
My husband, his brother and I stopped at the Sno-Flake Drive-In and were we glad we did!! The hamburgers we ordered were huge & delicious 😋 The fries were thick and fried to perfection. The absolute best part of the meal, however, was my chocolate milk shake so thick I used the straw as a spoon. With whipped cream & a cherry on top, it was by far the best milkshake I have ever had. Try one and you'll see. Yum!!
Went here with my two buddies after a long couple of days hiking the trt! The service was wonderful, and they were so kind to us. We got a burger, shake, and fries (the fries could have used a tad more salt) but it was all super yummy!
This classic burger joint takes you back in time with its authentic, juicy burgers and thick, creamy malts. Each burger is perfectly cooked and the malts are just the right blend of ice cream and flavor—definitely a must-try! The atmosphere is nostalgic and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal. The service is friendly and quick. Highly recommend for a delicious trip down memory lane! Dog-friendly patio.
This place is a 10 out of 10. The food for the price is so worth it. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. Everyone is friendly and super nice. They even gave our dog, Tao, a pup cup full of whipped cream. Definitely a must eat at when visiting Tahoe!!
Super tasty burger, fries and shakes! A true local food joint in South Lake Tahoe. Great waffle cones in either chocolate or vanilla. The beer battered onion rings are amazing! This is a must stop for a meal.
Insanely fantastic!!! Stella blue burger with fries and a root beer were perfection and so was the insanely crazy amazing super fantastic tasting Sundae - Great customer service and we’re helpfull with my decision making
Amazing food, great service, cute homey diner atmosphere. Tahoe burger was delicious, juicy, and I would come back just for that and the loaded chili cheese fries!
Amazing delicious burgers! Went New Year’s Day and they were open. Small indoor local spot few booths inside but were able to get a table and waited 15min for food. Worth the wait I loved the burgers and fries super filling! We got the bacon cheeseburger and the Tahoe fave with mushrooms. I got one large combo and the fries were so good too and enough for two. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the burgers. So fresh and love the veggies in them too.
Some of the cheapest burgers in town. Friendly staff and cool inside classic diner. Definitely worth getting.
I love this place! It’s my favorite ice cream spot in town, and everyone who works in there is so nice!!

The new owners here have really turned it around. The food quality is better than ever and the portions are outstanding. We love supporting our local family owned businesses.

A Tahoe classic. Great burger and fries!
Tasty, well seasoned, big burgers and excellent fries. Service was prompt, even with a line out the door. Milkshakes are lacking. Most people were getting ice cream in cones and that might be the way to go. The milkshake tasted like a liquid dairy product blended with ice. I was expecting a much thicker milkshake considering that they have soft serve.
Delicious food! Definitely a must visit if you are in South Lake area. Is a bit overpriced for burgers but with the area it is to be expected. Only reason it's 4 stars, is the restaurant is tiny on the inside, packed (because it's delicious), and there is only one bathroom. That line got pretty backed up, so people were standing next to our table while we were eating. Can't wait to go back and try the ice cream and milkshakes.
This place is kinda hit-and-miss for me. I think it depends who happens to be working at the time. Customer service is usually pretty lousy, but food's pretty awesome. Shakes are great. Hamburgers and buns taste fresh. Fries portion size is pretty weak.... The kids corn dog meal strangely seems to come with more fries than just ordering a large fries. Good, though. We've been there 3 times and will likely be back.
Fantastic shakes and decent grill food. Large servings of fries Seems like a diner stop that locals used to like a lot but business was slow when we stopped in.
Food was soo hot and worth the wait!! This place was poppin with lots of customers!! U know what that means!! FOOD IS 🔥.. We will be back..the chili fries were loaded with lots of chili and plenty of cheese! The onion rings are super crispy and hot..The fries were soo hot,My son liked the BBQ chicken sandwich ..And his bestest friend girl friend😁 liked the cheese burger she said it was so juicy and fresh!!
The fries and chili cheese fries are amazing. I'd love to try the chocolate malts, but I think I'd need someone to split it with. I bet everything's good here.
Staff was nice, food was good with great portions. My strawberry shake was excellent. I wouldn't recommend the pineapple shake, it was too sweet. Our drinks came out in 10 minutes which was fantastic, but out food took about 35 minutes to come to us and we had to check in on it. There was not an overwhelming number of customers there so I'm not sure why it took so long. The order area was very hot. I'm guessing the building does not have AC, and I can't imagine being the one cooking in that heat. Overall, the ingredient quality was wonderful, and the ice cream service is fast, but it's definitely not the place to stop if you need a quick bite.

The burger was good, a little over cooked. The fries soggy but excellent, Ive cream was amazing, gargantuan and impossible to contain...I feel like they set us up for failure with an ice cream cone that was so huge that two of us couldn't keep up with the containment of the thing. It was an up and down visit from start to finish.
Food was good, but not great. Took way too long to get our food and we had little kids that were hungry! Over 35 mins to get 3 hot dogs plain and a burger, plain! Ordered an order of zucchini and sweet potatoes fries... they were only like warm at best, the burger had to be sent back twice! Told them burger and bun only, nothing else on it, how hard is that? They also had no ice! The employees were busy on their phones and chatting...it was not very busy when we ordered!!!??? Overall, a 3 star rating is for the food being okay.
Food was alright at most. We drove in from Sacramento and didn't quite know where we wanted to stop for lunch. My dad joked with me and said "Look it's a Tastee Freeze." I told him "We can get soft serve here and a burger." Lets go there. Perhaps the first red flag was the uniforms that the kids who were working were wearing. One older kid had on a crop top and a nose piercing. She might not have been a kid, but perhaps a young adult. The place was run by teenagers. It wasn't until the end that an adult came out to get us our soft serve because my dad and I had said "Lets order the food first and then come back for soft serve." Starting with the food, I got the Barbecue Chicken Sandwich. It was alright. My dad got a burger. I don't know which one and he agreed it was alright. We ordered the large fries and it was small at best and for $2 more, a rip off. It took nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive and we only ordered 3 things. Oh and the fries tasted like the oil was old. The service is pretty much nonexistent. People walk out to the window shouting #1, #12, etc in no order. It was hard to hear when our order was called. When we finished our meal, we walked back inside and waited in line. Luckily I had used the bathroom before, which had no paper towels when my dad went and no soap. When I walked into the bathroom, there was just a massive roll of paper towels not in the dispenser and a bottle of almost empty Dawn Dish Soap. My dad asked the lady at the counter "Could you bring some paper towels into the bathroom and some soap." To which she responded with "There is soap in the bathroom, you just have to push on the dispenser real hard." The dispenser was clearly empty. I ended up having to go to a different restaurant to use the bathroom because I guess after a certain timeframe they received so many complaints that they stuck a piece of tape on the door that said "Bathroom is closed." Soft serve though was good, but not great. If you are looking for a place to eat, just make the ten minute drive over towards Stateline or down the road to Sprouts/ the bar and grill next door.
Good food, service not so much. Google maps said this business opened up at 10 AM we arrived at 10:30 AM to see no employees on site. The first employee to arrive was at 10:50 AM. At 11 o’clock they said they were supposed to open, but apologized and said they were not ready to open. We sat at the table and patiently waited. At 11:15 she took our order. The food was good. I asked for a refill, she said it was $.25 for a refill. I asked if they would waive the $.25 since we had to wait 15 minutes past their opening hour and she said no. I let her know that Google Maps was still displaying the 10 AM open time. She said they are aware of it and just have not changed it.
I've been there 4 times and have always had the same experience - a 25-35 minute wait for just a soft-serve ice cream cone, even when there is a short or no line. The milkshakes are very liquidy and in no way the best in town as they say. The cones are good once you get it. Pass on the burgers - much better burger places all over town.
The shakes were yummy but the service was mediocre. The employee seemed super annoyed and bothered that we were there to order food.
The food was good. I ordered a vegan burger and it was delicious. We also ordered zucchini fries. I felt they had too much batter and they gave you a lot! My husband and I shared them and wound up throwing half of them away. We just had water but I liked that they had a cooler inside and outside for you to refill your cup. There were outdoor tables with umbrellas for shade. That was nice. They had indoor seating too. We had no trouble finding a place to sit. I needed to use the bathroom since this was our first stop after arriving in Tahoe after a 2 hour drive and the gal said their bathroom was out of order and when I asked her for the nearest facility, she said it was at the beach. A little far to go before my order would be ready. I decided to go to a toy shop next door. The gal there said she was surprised they had not fixed the bathroom yet since it had been out of commission for awhile. She then walked me over to a pizza place next door. Honestly, more help from her than the Sno Flake In where I bought my food. That part was disappointing. I also asked for the sauce for my burger to be put on the side but it was not. :( The food was was 4 stars. The help from staff..2
Super disappointed, food is always good but watching people leave after waiting a long time without any help, thats when I looked up and saw he dome mirror so the kitchen could see when someone is there and vise versa only to see someone leaning on the kitchen counter watching TV on their phone instead of helping the 7 people in the small lobbie waiting. A young lady who looked like she was running all over the place popped up and said she would be right there to help seemed to be the only person working.
Don’t expect the same quality as last year. The soft serve is Golden Corral quality-not milky creamy. Frozen food. Prices have gone up while quality goes down. New owners are gonna cause this place to close down… UPDATE!!!as of summer of 2025 the soft serve is back to being delicious!!! I added two stars to my review because the food is still mediocre but atleast the icecream is good again
Food was decent. Gal behind counter didn't seem particularly glad to be there. Felt like I was an imposition.
I totally agree with other people that signature Tahoe burger is wonderful. But! Service is very unpleasant. Young lady cashier destroyed all our experience. She was ignoring, she was answering in unfriendly way. We are Disappointed...
We only went there for shakes, we got one chocolate and one boysenberry and they both tasted like vanilla, in fact we couldn't taste any berry at all. All shakes are likely made with vanilla ice cream and syrup. Nice vibe though.
Server at the register would crack a smile to save her life. Was rude and difficult: 1star Burgers: 4 stars Fries: 1 star Shake (strawberry and peanut butter): flavor:5 stars, price: 3 stars. Atmosphere (aside from staff): 5 stars.
Honestly I was a bit disappointed. The burgers were just okay..the crispy onion rings and the shake were delicious! Service was subpar and it was pretty pricey...about $40 for two burgers, one fry, a shake, and a soft drink..if you're looking for milkshakes definitely come here but maybe not if you're craving a burger.
3 stars is a bit generous tbh. There was lots of hype about the Burger but to be honest it was kind of plain and it was more bun than patty. the most popular thing seemed to be the ice cream and the milkshakes anyway which unfortunately we did not partake in so I'm giving it a 3. Customer service left something to be desired. The girls were kind of grumpy. Not to mention it took at least 30 minutes to get our order and it really wasn't all that busy.
The jalapeño burger was good, the curly fries were not. They were hard. It cost $55 for two meals. Oh and the patio was extremely slippery. They should invest in a mat before someone gets hurt. I did like the regular fries though!

The milkshakes aren't very good. They don't taste like real ice cream and even our kids didn't care for them. We didn't have any food so can't rate it. Not much seating.
Very slow delivery of your order. Also, no free refills on the soda on my granddaughter drank soda while waiting for the food and it's a dollar to refill it. Five other orders in front of us so the place was not very busy. We'll never come here again.
Gonna be honest. Thought it would be nice for mother's day to have a late lunch here. First of all the place is filthy. The service was ok. The teen at the counter got our order wrong. )Actually missed an entire meal for my grandson)Our food was a sloppy mess. Had to ask for forks to eat with. The only good thing was our shakes. Pretty disappointed. Through most of our food away.
Maybe we went on a bad day but the meal did not match the price. My BBQ chicken sandwich was lacking flavor, seemed undercooked (chewy, hard to bite) and just wasn't enjoyable. My wife's burger was better but still seemed to be lacking for the 21 dollars we had to pay for two sandwiches and a single order of fries. The ice cream cone ordered after was actually the bright spot of the whole experience, though 4 dollars for a small swirl cone of soft serve is pretty steep.
I heard great things about this place and expected something good. It’s in a great area and gives a classic look. We walked in and saw they had the best milkshake in Tahoe since 2006. A sign outside said the last one was 2017. So we were confused. We got there and the lady up front was really rude. The only thing that was truly worth the exposure and price was the milkshake.
Great looking on the outside but sad service and a dirty patio. $15 for a kid cone, a small cone and a medium soda. It’s not even soft serve. This place needs to be mostly ice cream with some standard staples, cheese burger, burger, fries, the end. Instead it’s a giant menu, and a handful of ice cream options. I would’ve gone to McDonald’s if I knew it wasn’t soft serve, it may have been cleaner.
Went here today while on vacation. The food was just okay and the service was subpar. The girl on the register was very rude when you ask any kind of question... and the price was ridiculous was $80 for 3 burgers, 2 fries, 2 shakes, and a soda. Furthermore when asking for a refill they wanted an extra dollar on an already small $4 medium soda they filled halfway with ice. I feel like if you're going to charge for fountain refills that should be mentioned upfront especially since at most places that isn't standard practice. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever give it a thought again!
I went here twice on my trip to Tahoe. I usually love coming here and it is almost a tradition for my family to come here. I was very disappointed with the customer service both times. I was treated very rude both times I came. Every worker there has an attitude for whatever reason. And I was just treated like I was not supposed to be there. Overall the food is okay, ice cream is great. But the workers are just all on edge and make the whole experience not even worth the food. Once I would have thought someone was having a bad day. But multiple people multiple days, something is up with these employees.

!!UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP!! The bright white creamy vanilla soft serve we knew and loved is gone. Replaced with a cheap yellowish artificial tasting vanilla soft serve. Two large peanut butter shakes and two small cones came to $35!!!!!! Too bad. This was my family’s favorite ice cream stop.
I'm sure they blame the virus for being so disconnected from their customers and giving bad service. You cant see in the glass to see if they are in there, you just have to wait until they open up the window. Gave order, then after 15 minutes of waiting in the hot sun (sign said no umbrellas today due to high winds, and not a bit of wind) they call my number and I take my food and drive off. Fries were cold/old. Tasted really bad. Then the burger had a cold bun (pulled right out of the bag I'm sure) and the meat was very bland. Tasted like it was old or something. Would it have killed them to sprinkle and little salt? $14.54 worth of total disappointment. I will NEVER go there again and advise anyone to go somewhere else
I had the very worst experience with the young lady at the window. I requested two adult meals and a children's meal. Instead of making one of the burgers a meal, she rang it as just the burger. I didn't notice until she didn't hand me a second cup. I told her she was missing a cup. She stated that I only asked for one. I told her that I needed two meals and she told me I could just pay for the fries and drink separately. It said it was 4.00 to add fries and a drink to the burger so I'm thinking that is what I am going to pay. It totals almost eight dollars and she was like you had to order it together. I told her that I requested it and she didn't ring it up correctly. I even tipped on the first receipt I wish I could have taken back. She had a nasty attitude so I asked to speak with a manager to get it straightened out. She did not get a manager. She finally did correct it but was very rude while dealing with it. Not sure if she is related to the owners but she obviously has no business doing a job that involves customer service. I was so disgusted with the transaction that I really didn't even enjoy my food.
Worst burger I've ever had and I was hungry, after my long drive up the mountain. Slow slow service like a sloth. Got some mush brain guy working the register their with a big shiny buckle. There was no customers there when we arrived and it took him 5 minutes to take our order and no hi or hello. The burger was plain, pale and Luke warm. There's more but why even go on!
We stopped yesterday to grab some lunch. The last time we came here, the food and drinks were great. This time, a lot of items were no longer available on the menu. They could only accept a debit or credit card, no cash. I ordered the Tahoe burger and was disappointed. The bun was stale, the mushrooms tasted old, the lettuce was wilted, and the tomatoes had been out too long. The ranch was bitter, the ketchup had a weird taste, and sodas were flat. My husband had the western burger and had a similar experience saying that it didn't taste good. Something was off with the BBQ sauce. Don't order lunch here.
Oh my gosh, where to start?! My husband and I brought our kids here to get a quick takeout ice cream cone after visiting the lake. Hubby went inside for us, and was first in line for ordering. He ordered 3 vanilla ice cream cones, paid and waited. 2 other parties arrived after him and made to-go food orders which looked much more complicated than just ice cream. Well, the other customers food arrived and they left happy. Meanwhile, hubby was still there waiting. I had the kids in the car waiting anxiously… Hubby asked the girl where his simple order was and she admitted they totally forgot! She quickly had it made, and it came out wrong! They made ice cream swirls (with chocolate mixed into the vanilla). Finally, hubby gave it back and got a refund. So it was all for nothing. When I asked him why he didn’t ask for a manager, he said there was no responsible adult in sight; the place is run by a bunch of stoned kids!!
Just the worst place I ate after a 2 and 1/2 week road trip across the country. The hamburgers and hot dogs were totally bland. I didn't get the grilled onions that I asked for. My buddy's hot dog came with no fixings on it even after he specifically asked for everything when asked by the guy at the cashier. When he saw the dog and asked for a hot dog with all the fixings on it, the guy said "You have to ask for that when you order it" and he was just rude. Tables were freaking dirty, bathroom is a wreck and had no soap or paper towels. The place is a dump. I recommended we stop here at the end of your trip thinking it'd be like the old days. In 1978 79 I lived just down the street from this place, and it was the go-to place for great hamburgers and ice cream. Not anymore.
Very disappointed with my meal from the Snowflake Drive-In. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, shake & fries which I found a bit expensive, but hoped worth it. The burger was unseasoned and flavorless. I suspect from a frozen patty. The cheese on the burger was not even melted though the bacon was good. The shake was what seemed to be just soft serve, but sold at ice cream prices. The fries were very good though. Seems they are on there fryer game. I took my meal to the park on the lake but wound up throwing it away after a few bites and drinks. I would not recommend this place and won't be going back. Poor quality for high prices. Seems a tourist trap.
Made the 3 hour round-trip drive because we love their soft serve ice cream. We checked the hours ahead of time and they close at 6pm. We got there at 5:30 pm, saw a few cars in the parking lot but all the doors were locked. My husband tried knocking on the window and the staff ignored him. I tried calling the phone and no one answered and their mailbox was full. Sorely disappointed. We were here last during a snowstorm and they were open so we had no idea why they'd close early on Mother's day when the weather was nice.
Ordered a complete hamburger meal. W fries and drink. Special: pesto chicken sandwich $9. Once our meal was ready. We did not get the drink d. N charged $12 for pesto chicken sandwich. Of which was very dry. Will not be back.
Ordered 3 Chicken Teriyaki sandwiches, large fries and two medium chocolate shakes. Was rung up for 3 Grill Chicken sandwiches, a large shake and two medium shakes?! Cashier just stared at me and said, Oh. I had to tell her they needed to be Teriyaki and that we didn't order large shake. Pineapple and topping slid off the chicken and was a hot mess to eat as there was no cheese to bind it all together. When we finally got the fries they were really good. Ice cream is icy and tastes terrible compared to the previous cream options. Vanilla is yellow and very gross in appearance?! Not going back... Ever!!
Pre fab burgers wayyyyy over priced. To the girl taking the order, very unwelcoming to customers. Learn to have some common courtesy, and SMILE for heaven sakes.
Disgusting overpriced food. Two adults and two children and we spent $100 for frozen, gross beef with a disgusting bun. What a disgrace. We will never come back to this establishment.
Me and my pregnant girlfriend arrived to sno flake and wanted to order a meal but we were having some payment issues so we had them void the order while we waited for some money to go through and there were two girls running the front of the shop that were talking about how we were to poor to afford the food they had there and while that was going on I was on the phone with my mom who was going through a hard time and crying to me on the phone while they are standing there staring at us , after I finished my conversation with my mom I went to purchase over 60$ worth of food only to be treated with attitude and mean glares after we received our food I was eating my ice cream outside enjoying myself getting over the fact people can be mean or have bad days my ice cream was melting and my girlfriend went inside to ask for a plastic cup to put the ice cream into and the manager responded with "use the paper cups if you want a cup for your ice cream your going to have to purchase another one I don't just give them away" this is not how you treat your customers especially a tahoe local not cool to see a business treating it's own people with such an elitist standard for a burger joint much less not even a franchise the ego on the people here is absurd
HORRIBLE SERVICE!! NASTY FOOD!!!. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE!!. Burgers and fries had absolutely NO flavor for being priced the way they are, we paid well over $80 for 3 burgers and fries. The girl taking orders was RUDE and had a very shitty attitude. MY FAMILY WILL NEVER RETURN THERE.. vulger music was blairing the whole time.. not a place for kids.
Absolutely horrible service. I wanted to use the restroom before ordering and the lady with a terrible attitude called me out for using it before queuing in line. Fix your horrible attitude, lady.
Service was absolutely terrible. I showed up with my spouse and our kid was asleep in the car. I simply asked for a hamburger kids meal and a milkshake to go. Next thing I know I’m being charged for a regular hamburger and had to be charged individually for a drink, fries, etc. I explained it was for my kid and the lady didn’t give a shit. $30 Later I received our milkshake and drink before the food, I didn’t mind thinking our food would come out shortly afterwards. Another 15 minutes and we get our food, milkshake melted, ice in the drink melted and no refills lol. The outdoor seating was the only good thing there lol
I’m not quite sure who give them sign for “world best burger”, I’m guessing it’s DIY project. It’s not that great. Service is poor and unwelcoming( being snappy with friendly customer is ( need serious retraining in staff) not the way to go. Hamburger is basic and 🙄 sweet potato fries was just terrible. 20 min wait for 1 meal…..
Went from Bad to WORSE. I gave this place a second chance after waiting close to an hour for a shake and burger on a day that it wasn’t busy. I came in today at 7:40pm for some ice cream and to my surprised they had locked the doors when it was listed online that they close at 8pm. Even the customers in the patio eating ice cream were surprised . One guest approached me and told me they close at 8. I then replied well…. apparently not today. Luckily Aloha is up there street and that’s where I’ll be going to get my ice cream fixins from now on.
Shakes are awesome but way over priced. Burgers are mid. Not worth the price. My fries tasted funny. For a $30 one person lunch I shoulda went to the steak house. The only thing I finished was the shake.
We are local to the area. We come around this way a few times here and there. We like to get lunch and after walk down to Snow Flake for a cone. We had our 5 year old daughter in tow with us and she was super excited to get some ice cream. We ordered our cone, gave a TIP and received the cone. Walked 3 steps out the door and the ice cream slid right off the cone onto the deck. I immediately turned around and advised the clerk. She went in back, presumably to make a new cone. She came back out with another clerk in tow. No one was wearing a name tag so I have no idea who these people are. The other female said, "So did you want to purchase another cone? I mean once you walk away with it" to which I said, half laughing.."Ice cream cones should stay intact over 3 steps from the counter and if that's the way you are choosing to handle this then plenty good" I asked for something to clean the ice cream up with and was told not to worry about it. We left and we will never be back. Years of patronage and you guys lost 3 customers because of $6.78 and horrific customer service. We went down the road to Aloha ice cream. Great customer service there. And when we told them what happened, they weren't surprised. Hope management sees this and trains their staff to handle situations like this more appropriately. Good luck!
Terrible food, like no exaggeration. The chili burger was quite literally disgusting. Took over half an hour to get our order! Patties on the burgers were grey and bland oh also it was $90!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Also if you order chicken strips be prepared to pay for ranch! Yes you read that right it doesn't come with ranch! It's a dollar a piece for a small cup of ranch.
This is the first place I ever went to where I thought to myself "I could've got better food for much cheaper at the baseball stadium". A McDonald's quality cheeseburger, fries and drink were $25. There was a standard looking lunch rush with maybe 5 orders in front of me, and it took 35 minutes to get my order... there's nothing moe complicated on the menu beyond a grilled slice of pineapple for the teriyaki burger. so, I can't imagine what took so long.
The little lady at the cash register with very little public skills, served me a glass topped with ice and very little lemonade for $4.75 ?>I showed her the glass of ice and asked for a refill she replied that would be $1.09 for a refill. The hamburger was not very good either. I asked to speak with someone else. The lady told me the cook does not speak English. The lady says if you want less ice you have to tell her>it does not say that on the menu or on the wall.....This little lady only cares about giving you very little of what you ordered and if you want what you already paid for little lady is going to charge you more..good luck to you people not a place I would waste my money on again.....

Mediocre and overpriced burgers that weren't made correctly. Fries that practically made my tongue numb from the salt overload. "Milkshake" that tasted like vanilla soft serve with a hint of artificial syrup. All topped off with employees that seem to hate their job. Not sure if these burgers are "famous" for good reasons or because of overwhelmingly average everything was but the price.
