Great hidden gem in Tahoe! Good food at a good price. Outdoor seating only or takeaway. Happy we stumbled upon to this local favorite. Definatly will eat here again on our next trip to Tahoe.

Perfect street food with a homey atmosphere. Friendly, smiling staff makes you feel like they want you there. Which is a breath of fresh air from the touristy glimmer of South Lake Tahoe casinos and ski resorts. Tacos are a must as it is in the name but the lengua burrito is truly where heaven meets earth.

Food is fresh and HOMEMADE! Staff is friendly! Very impressed my husband asked for no salt in the fish and it was still AMAZING! So many foods to try around here but we are coming again because this family is the BEST!

The food is fantastic, authentic mexican street tacos. The service is wonderful and friendly ....they never mess up my order. Anyone that says the price isn't good doesn't eat out very often! The prices are great for the amount and quality of food. I highly recommend!!

This place is DELICIOUS. A total hole in the wall in the best way possible, we are so glad a random Google maps search for food brought it up. Food takes quite awhile to make (it’s fresh!), so this won’t be a quick stop. Leave 15-20 minutes for food to be made. We got a chicken quesadilla and it was substantial and delicious. Everything we saw around us also looked phenomenal. Highly recommend!

It’s a unicorn. Never thought I’d find food that is both really good and cheap in south lake tahoe. Had the asada burrito and it was excellent. The tortilla chips were also great what you’d expect at a proper sit down restaurant. The salsas were just okay. Patio seating out front is nice. The best Jamaica agua I’ve had outside of Mexico.

I have been visiting Tahoe for many years and Super Tacos has been a favorite of ours. I always get the Torta with Asada! My wife mixes it up with burritos and tacos and we like everything. You will notice that the locals eat there too! The price is right for great food and an easy stop. The owner is very service oriented and we will always return when visiting. We googled tacos while on vacation and found this one to have good reviews. The street tacos are amazing. They have a lot of meat, double tortilla (big) and they add guacamole!! If you love tacos this is the place to go. They have an outdoor area you can eat at. The staff were attentive, nice and very professional. Will definitely stop by everytime we come visit Lake Tahoe.

I like this quick food walk up place. Good to buy to go for those in motels surrounding the area.Food has always been good. Wish they would clean up their outside menu board as it is confusing. (thought that last year as well). It is a popular place even in snowy weather.

One of the better Mexican eats in the South Lake Tahoe area. Would’ve given 5 stars if they added a little bit more meat to their tacos. Burritos are a bit on the smaller side. Other than that the food is very tasty.

This place is as legit as it gets for a hole in the wall Mexican food. Been around for days, and fed the workers who built everything new that you see around it. Humble, inexpensive food for real people. God bless.

Ordered beef nachos and even though it was a good size portion, I should have ordered something other than beef or would prefer Taco Bell. There are some tables and chairs outside but it's too cold around this time. No restroom.

These might be some of the worst tacos I’ve ever had. Bones all inside of my chicken taco. The salsa was good. The four of us could not tell the difference between chicken, steak and pork. Meat was dry and chewy.

I ordered a super burrito of asada for $12.50. I received more of a rice with a tiny bit of beans burrito. Literally specs of asada, barley any lettuce, no tomatoes or onions. Disappointing.

Food was good, but they got really cheap on portions and tacos are way overpriced. Carne asada nachos use to be filled with carne asada, but now they just sprinkle it on. Chicken Burrito was 90% rice. Definitely not the value that I was use to getting from this place. Also, this place is only open for a short period of time. If you're going to charge your customers more money, then don't be cheap on salsa and portions. I won't be back any time soon.

This is not real Mexican. It’s messy Mexican American. No flavor cheap food. Not filling. Look elsewhere

The only ppl raving about these bland and chinsy tacos, are ppl who haven't actually had good tacos before. The amount of meat they fill is minuscule and are so bland i couldnt finish either of the 2 different types we got. The chicken taco was only tolerable, yet lacked flavor & was dry. Their pastor was so bland i wondered how they could sell these AS pastor! Where's the marinade!? Just flat, insipid cooked pork. The burrito we were given was mostly filled with tasteless mushy orange rice, and finding meat was joke. The torta was a disgrace to sandwiches, truly. I understand 1 or 2 things on an order not being great as a "just an off day". But every single thing we ordered was absolutley horrible & made us realize we will NEVER eat here again. For the price, you'd expect so much more. At least we were given chips & salsa with our order that were good! Don't waste your money & don't offend your tastebuds! Go elsewhere!

From the moment I placed my order, the employee who assisted me exhibited an unbelievable level of rudeness. My simple inquiry about churros was met with dismissive attitude and a condescending "just what's on the menu bro go ahead and look." Seriously? Is basic courtesy too much to ask? Things went from bad to worse when I specified an order of two gluten-free tacos due to an allergy. The employee's response, "I think there gluten," was not only unhelpful but frankly alarming. When I politely requested he double-check, he snatched the bag, jabbed his finger aggressively at the "gluten free" label, and barked, "See it's says gluten free." His aggressive demeanor was completely uncalled for and made me incredibly uncomfortable. The final total came out to $35 and change. I handed over a $100 bill and received a mere $60 back. While I understand mistakes happen, the entire interaction left me so uneasy that I opted not to leave a tip – a decision I rarely make, but the fear of potential food tampering after such rude behavior outweighed my usual inclination. Honestly, the quality of the food is decent. However, the employee's dismissive attitude towards a serious allergy concern raises serious questions about their food handling practices and overall care. Save yourself the frustration and potential unpleasantness. There are plenty of other establishments that value their customers and treat them with basic respect. I will certainly not be returning and strongly advise others to steer clear.

The menu prices are misleading, the chicken in the taquitos is unseasoned and tastes boiled. The guacamole has no flavor and the carnitas are dry. Just spent 30 dollars on terrible Mexican food

If the owner or employees ever come out screaming at you to move your car saying they are gonna tow it (even tho there isn't a sign that says no parking) then as you go to move stands behind your car and won't let u leave.. just be sure to call the cops like I did and call them out on their abusive, threatening actions.. IT'S A PUBIC STREET! Actually stupid to think you can prevent people from parking there.. I called the cops and the guy who was yelling at me for no reason even tho I was doing what he asked moved right away,, cause all they are doing is just a scare tactic.. if they aren't open, and it's not business hours they CANT LEGALLY PREVENT YOU FROM PARKING THERE. AND IF THEY DO TOW YOUR CAR THAT WOULD BE CALLED GRAND THEFT AUTO. no real tow company would ever risk that I plan on contacting city code enforcement and expect those "taco shop parking only" signs to be gone soon. I also filed a police report. Great work today yall 👏

Terrible customer service. If you ask questions you get nasty looks from the guy taking orders and he give attitude. Food is mediocre. Prices are high for the portions. Salsa is bomb though
