I absolutely love this location. It's one of my top 3 locations. Every time I have ordered from this location the fries are Hot and their Iced coffee/latte is flavored perfectly to where it's not too bitter nor sweet. I have not had any issues with wrong orders or bad attitudes. Keep it up with the great service and food !

Customer service and food were on point 👌 fries 🍟warm, crunchy on the outside, while the center was soft. The buns were also warm and slightly toasted, and cheese was melted. Definitely coming here again, small secret....I am not the biggest fan of McDonald's which makes this extra good!!! The only thing I would fix is the entrance, as it is in a very busy street and not ideally accessible. Other than that, top restaurant on my McDonald's list.

Recently visited this McDonald's and had an overall great experience, thanks to the above average human service. The staff were friendly, quick, and attentive to my needs. They ensure my order was correct and served it with a smile, which made my visit quite enjoyable. The only downside was the cleanliness of the restaurant. While the dining area & restroom could have been a bit tidier, it didn't take away from the excellent service I received.

The other food is mediocre but the McCafe is on point. I always get my coffee and realated drinks at mcDs. They have excellent service here. They gave me a big cup of whipped cream that I asked for, for free. Their iced caramel macchiato is to die for. They always give less ice which I love. I would say their coffee is almost better than Starbucks. Would recommend McCafe to friends and family. Can't beat their awesome prices. Best Bang for the buck.

This is my home McDonalds. I would say the drive-thru is not as fast as my previous McDonald's near my old place in Pasadena. It's actually faster to walk inside I think, so that's what I do usually and the service is just fine. I would actually give the store a 3.5 if I could versus a 4. It's typically pretty clean though late nights sometimes means less staff and a dirtier lobby area. Food quality consistency is good, and they almost always get my order correct, which I know shouldn't be a surprise, but trust me, sometimes I totally get the wrong order from fast food places in general.

There are no FOOD items on the $1 dollar menu anymore, just beverages.😢 Love me a Shamrock shake but it seems like it's made differently everywhere. Sometimes cherry, sometimes not. Sometimes whipped cream on top, sometimes blended in.

Convenient and hit the spot!! The fries could have been a bit fresher, maybe a little warmer though, but I went through the drive thru and didn't have time to let them know.

This is my go to McDonald's, but I can only give the drive through experience since I've never been inside For the most part drive through has been great, during the busy hours it can get extremely crowded (but most McDonald's are like that). The service has all ways been great, if it's morning or night.

Went in there ordered my food and got it within 5 minutes. The only downside is that one of the ladies (an employee) there was yelling at another employee and we saw that. They could have taken that to the back. This was today 6/25/2021. If the lady does this constantly she should be fired.

This location is very nice. It has been remodeled and they have many different kinds of seating. It's very modern and comfortable. About the food, it's as good as any other Mc Donald's.

Lately they have been getting orders correct. A low bar, but it has inspired me to up my rating to 4 Stars. Hope things keep improving.

Fine food and quick service at noon. However I wasn't able to use soap dispenser in bathroom and hand sanitizers were empty. But someone was at work cleaning and may not have gotten around to the problems.

McDonald's usually does a pretty good job of getting food out quickly. I had ordered two meals, one for myself and one for a friend. My meal was ready in under 2 minutes. The other meal took closer to 10. They seemed to busy in the drive through that day and maybe that had something to do with the delay. Food was still great just took a little longer than expected.

Best McDonald's I've been to. I keep coming here for the interior design. It looks more like a casual lounge than a McDonald's. Nice booths and seating areas and its generally clean. It's McDonald's, so the service is never going to be Michelin 5⭐, but it's better than the average McDonald's.

We had late dinner from here. The Mc Spicy chicken burger was really good. The staff was nt that friendly, maybe because it was late. But for some reason, McDonald's chain had become one of our favorite family burger place. This place does nt have Mc Cafe or many item in the menu was over by the time we reached.

Ordered pickup. There are three parking spots for curb pickup. Two of them are taken up but no one inside the car. Suggest management enforce curbside parking. Food delivered lightning speed. But they didn’t include any napkins. Other than that food was fine.

McDonald's have been changing the look at every McDonald's in California and probably every states. They need a fresh new look to bring the new generation in to McDonald's and enjoy a great meal. They brought down the 70' look to a more modern look. The food is the same with the classic like the Big mac,the quarter pounder also other meal they have for years. I came to McDonald's to have breakfast I decided to get my favorite breakfast is the two sauage McDuffie with egg combo come with hash brown and choice of drink I choice coffee one drink that pick me up in the morning. I enjoy the sausage McDuffie for years I feel when visitva different McDonald's the food taste different for me I don't know why it's a mystery to me.

I had to change my 4 star experience- the food was literally slapped together, the lettuce was soggy from the overwhelming amount of mayo, my Mobil order took forever and didn't come complete... we were missing a drink, and a $5 sandwich, they gave 2 happy meals instead of one and neither had a drink. I thought by putting in a Mobile order would be beneficial but in this case i don't think anything could have helped the staff except scheduling more employees. *original post*-It's a long wait at the busy time (understandable)...but they should schedule accordingly. I always order with my mobile app (highly recommend) and still wait for way too long. It's all good though because the deals I get with the mobile app are unbelievable.

They always seem to be out of something evenings: I can never order the premium mushroom burger at night - always out of it. And chicken strips occasionally as well. And mobile orders seem to take longer to process than ordering inside. How in this day of streaming music can they have a music playlist of literally only about 15 1950’s songs...?! Every time I’m there I hear the same songs. Come on, guys...

Tables are always dirty. I always have to clean one. Staff is slow to have your order ready. But place is spacious and open and good music selection.

I had a simple order for drive thru. However, for some reason the drive thru employee left his station to help with a large order inside. He was gone for a few minutes which was odd to me. Cars in line started honking at me and the rest of the world. Just a weird thing to happen at a drive thru.

Drive thru window is pretty slow, but I think with Covid and all they aren't yet fully staffed. Interior is huge and there is also a small patio area there too. Plenty of parking in the back.

The one in La Canada was fair. Only problem the cashier could not communicate well in communication and give back change to other customer. Sometimes best take one customer at a time.

It's a McDonald's so the food and service are acceptable. Given there's not that many fast food chains in South Pasadena and even fewer with drive thrus, the line of cars can get very long during meal times (lunch and after work). It's also on a major road that tends to get heavy traffic so if you go there (drive thru or not) when leaving the parking lot signs will say only a right turn is allowed (and if you ignore the signs it may depending on time of day, may take you a while to make that left turn against traffic).

The cashiers at this McDonald's make the trip and the meal so much better. Friendly, sweet, helpful, and efficient. Kudos to this McDonald's especially in the morning with the girls.

I only go to Mikky D’s for just the Diet Coke. It seems that Mikky D’s always seems to have the most consistent flavor in their drinks. The only other thing I get here is the fillet fish on Friday. Can’t beat it...

The service I got at this McDonald's was rather poor. This is not the area where I live, so I probably won't be back here, but I don't really care because they couldn't get my order right and yet they didn't apologize. I ordered a large Big Mac meal and while the food came quickly and it was hot enough, they didn't give me the drink, which was coffee! I had asked for 7 creams, and I didn't get those without asking. Also, l had asked for a large cup that I would fill with ice to make iced coffee. They didn't give me that. They gave me a small cup for water, which I asked for, but it was actually a cup for hot fudge sundaes, not a regular cup! And they gave it rather begrudgingly, it seemed. When I finally got my large coffee, I had to ask for the large cup as well. They weren't willing to make iced coffee for me. While I realize the order might have been a little complicated, I feel it wasn't that difficult to give me the coffee with 7 creams inside, and a large cup. So that's why I gave this McDonald's only 3 stars.

The restaurant is clean and well maintained, but the staff is sub par. They leave customers to their own devices on their kiosks to order and ignore a long line at their register. I do not go in the drive through because they frequently fill my order inaccurately. This location is always busy and they seem to be understaffed.

I like coming here. Tje place is kept pretty much clean. And most of the time there's seating. But every time I ask for fries with out salt. The fries are totally over cooked. You use the mobile order and they never give you the soft drink cup so when you ask the cashier for it they give you a funny look and try and charge you for it.

No menus for the breakfast were available, when the cashier was asked about them she only went by name and number. I picked the number one which was "very small" and the potatoe was full of grease. A grilled chicken sandwich was ordered but they only had 'Fried". It only came with pickles, no mayo or lettuce was given and the ketchup was only given if asked. This is the last time I eat at any Macdonald except for the deluxe breakfast, otherwise I don't recommend this food chain 😖

I placed my order inside at the counter, paid and got my Order#307. While this store's inside order system used 2 different number tracks - ie, my order # was in the 300's, and the other order track was in the 100's (I think). I waited what seemed a longer than warranted time amount for my order to be "called.". When I started paying more attention, I noticed that there had been at least 4 other customers that had arrived & ordered after me with higher (later) 300 order #s, such as 310, 312, 313 & 314 that had gotten orders **BEFORE** my #307. When I went up to the counter to ask what was happening, another woman also complained, "And what happened to my order?!? I'm #304!!!". When they finally called my number, and I asked the Shift Manager who brought me my order what was the problem, he had no good answer for me. Yes, he apologized, but he apparently was not able to answer why their order management / processing had screwed up.

Dear management. Why is your iced coffee prepared different depending on who's working? Isn't there a recipe that they all need to follow? Some times I get it and its like drinking milk. Then sometimes I get it and its super sweet to the point that I can't drink it. Other times its super bitter. What's the deal? I actually get a good one about 25% of the time.

I went at around 11 50 am not lunch time yet but they are to slow to give you your order ...this is not a fast food service

Went 2 days in a row through the drive-thru. Yesterday, ordered 2 happy meals with chicken nuggets, did not receive our sauces. Today, we got 2 grinch meals and one of them did not get the fries. Yes, they're pretty fast, but they keep forgetting stuff.

Consistently THE slowest McD I have ever been to. I guess it's a popular place but if you want something fast and get out of there, prepare to wait at least 15min to get your order even if you ordered ahead on the McD app. The car order line is crazy busy and even if you got the food then you'll get stuck in the traffic outside so prepare yourself if you go there at traffic time!😒

This is after all a McDonald's in South Pasadena. I love their location along South Fair Oaks not far from Bristol Farms. They have a nice drive through and a patio outside. There are plenty of tables as well as an automated ordering system available I tried the new breakfast McGrill and was very disappointed... Way too sweet. I guess I'll go back to the classic egg and sausage McMuffin. The place was clean, and there was plenty of parking available. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's not always easy to find a counter person that will explain the options. This was at 10 a.m. in the morning and the place was moderately busy.Bacon

Went in, and I was in a rush... this lil mexicn girl was not helpful with the customers... then made me wait, I told her please my oatmeal, and she gave it to me with attitude ...2nd time gave me looks but still doesn't stop me from going in !!! but next time am going right next door @ coffee bean and get me a hot biscuit egg with bacon which I tried before and is delicious 😋o yeah no yellow yolk yummmieee.

Ordered a Quarter Pounder and 6 piece McNuggets. The Quarter Pounder patty was dry and the McNuggets were mushy.

So..... i placed my order at the kiosk, I'm placing a eat-in order , so I'm asked to pick a locator, grabbed it , paid for my order grabbed my receipt and went ahead to sit down and wait for my food........ After 12 min. I hear my order number being called, i thought my food was going to be taken to my table since i had a locator 🤔, so i went over to the counter to grab my tray and i asked one of the guys : "then ... what are the locators for?" He answered: oh i don't know why those are there , but are supposed to be for table service and he just walked away 🙍‍♂️ What the hell, im so confused! Costumer service? 🤔

I was very disappointed at this Mc Donalds. Restrooms were filthy . Couldn't tell if it was water pooling up or urine . Toliet paper dispensers were empty. Paper all over the room. I went in to wash up before I ordered but I ended up asking staff if they could assign someone to clean restroom and I left. I lost my appetite...

Only went there to use the restroom... which was unkempt... then i wondered about the employees' hand washing protocol since there are no paper towels--only air dryers--and you have to PULL the germ-ridden door handle to EXIT the restroom. Gross.

Breakfast service was just ok. No table service was offered although they did have the numbered indicators that customers carry to their tables for order delivery. The sausage mcmuffins were good, but the orange juice was definitely watered down. It barely had any flavor. Considering what they charge for orange juice, this was a complete rip-off. Update: quite a few months later, I went to get a snack and large shake. I tried to use the kiosk, as there was nobody at the register. This particular kiosk only seems to work if you get a code from the McDonalds app. I don't go to McDonalds enough to warrant wasting phone space on an app that is barely used. I gave up on the kiosk and waited - longer than I should have - for someone to come up to take my order. So, service still sucks.

We had to wait for our drive through order, we told the young man that brought our order out that two chicken sandwiches were missing. He took the bag and checked, said no, they are at the bottom. We got home and the sandwiches were not in the bag!!! Partly our fault for not checking thoroughly but when you have a big order and there's a line behind you, you take their word for it

MCD is fine, but this highland park location has the worst customer service in the area. Go through the drive thru and you'll always experience a rude response. I typically don't care and know what I'm getting when I go to any MCD, but this one is bad enough to take notice. It's not welcome to McDonald's, it's. "Yes" or Gimme a sec be with you in a minute " after you order anything, it's always "Anything else " before you can respond again it's "Anything else " I get it l, y'all hate your job, but dang at least try a little.

We placed a mobile order on the app for a strawberry shake. When we got there (around 10pm), curbside pickup was no longer an option so we had to wait in line. The line was long and took about 15 minutes. When we got to the payment window, we were told that they were out of ice cream. I wish that we were informed via the app that our order was unavailable. That would have saved us 30 minutes (including the drive). I even wish that they would have told us this at the order screen. We would have gotten out of line, instead of waiting for 2 cars in front of us to get their orders before we were told at the *payment window* that our selection was unavailable. McDonalds, you have the resources, why are you always out of ice cream?

didn't like the attitude from some of the employees. They tried rushing us and wanting us to move quickly. I get it, its a drive thru and you have so many customers, but if you want to hear the order correctly, don't rush customers.

Super slow i literally have come here a few times different times AS well. I work in the area... they are always slow even when the line isn't long. I have had 2 cars infront of me a few times and yet im still not able to get out of there longer than 10min through a drive through... staff is nice but I don't get why I waited so long I have worked for the company before I know the standards...

Unhappy guest, unhappy workers. How hard is it to get one order wrong consistently? How many time can this joint messed up my ‘ 1 ‘ one , item order. In the past 5 visits, I only order 1 Diet Coke through the mobile app, and 3 out of 5 times they gave me… regular Coke, doctor pepper, and even badly mixed Diet Coke. Wow, like they did it on purpose because I only order 1 thing.

Always always they mess up the breakfast sandwhiches 2 for 4 deal. How hard is it sausage and cheese egg mcmuffin egg scramble?? I was given with scramble egg no cheese and the other regular egg no sausage... REALLY!? ... and they want how much per hour??? ... GTFOH with that. Pasadena on fair oaks and Alhambra on valley Blvd.

I was in a hurry and hungry. I made a bad choice to get a sandwich at the McDonald drive-through because i ended up waiting 10 min to place my order at the speaker and another 15 min to get my food. The staff could have brought my one sandwich out to my car if they had the other customer placing a big order before other customers.

When are they going to clean this place up ? How strange that the same owner has this McDonald and owns the one in south Pasadena were you never fine people begging for money or people doing drugs in the bathroom. We're they have educational games for children instead of a slide or a play area. Either clean up this place or shut this place down.

Men's restroom stall was not working again today, this is a persistent issue with this location. The inability to use the restroom here made it so that I could not safely eat my food. I would avoid this location for the foreseeable future due it this being a continual issue. You also have to wonder where the male workers use the restroom and if they have any other problems with their plumbing with this continuing to happen.

This McDonald's sucks! Order a hot Macchiato in a drivethru and they had me waited for 5min or so in the parking lot. After waiting for so long, a crew got out and told me that my order isn't available and if I would like another drink or a refund. I was like what!? You had me waited all this time and that's all you're going to say. I was 15min late at my work. My point was they could've told me at the beginning that it's not available or the machine is broken so i won't waste my time waiting, it took them 5min if not more to figured it out that my order is not available or unless they try to fix the machine right there and then. Anyway, I come here 3x a week and this happened a month ago. I recently came back here couple of times when I don't have enough time to go to another McDonald's since I always pass here on my way to work and guess what, Macchiato is still not available in hot or sometimes the machine is broken and only cold comes out from the machine. If I am not mistaken this machine is broken for at least 2mos. already. Now, why can't they just get rid or replace this machine or get rid of the hot Macchiato from their menu. Is that easy!

NEVER EVER HAVE VANILLA SHAKES. When asked baout it, they always say "Our machine is down" No your machine is not "down" it requires maintenance which nobody wants to do, so they say its "down" or "broken" EVERY NIGHT!!

This McDonald’s makes my order wrong 85% of the time. Terrible go to another one I will be doing the same , smh . Management is severely lacking and service is the Worst after 6pm, don’t waste your time.

Thanksgiving day 2016 @ 3pm: There are too many idle bodies back stage when there is only 1 front cashier with a queue. I advise the shift supervisor he should standby register to help out instead of being lazy to count in another register and joking with the idle staffs. I explained to him the cashier feed orders thus relieve the queue and to the cooks and preparer for efficiency for faster turn around. The idiot shift supervisor/manager in turn retorted and exclaimed thats the way he runs his store which lead me to this rant... SERIOUSLY! The less expensive items on the over head Electronic menu display flashes by in 2 seconds which doesn't afford anyone time to comprehend, but the expensesive items linger on much extensively . For that reason, I just ordered coffee! There are only a couple of crew are congenial, the rest are ZOMBIES with zero people skill that do not know simple friendly greeting!!!

Worst drive thru on this planet! It sometimes takes 30 minutes with only 6 cars in front of me to get to the window to order any food and then we are told they are short staffed. They don’t apologize or compensate in any way for such delays! Outrageous.

Bad customer service... Girls act like they don't like doing their jobs... If they don't like they can find other jobs that can make them happy... In the mean time they should be trained accordingly.

went through drive through last eve I ordered 2 sandwich they handed me one , I grabbed the bag and drove off , I had to go back to have them fix it , I almost got into an accident backing up into the drive through , turned out they never made my order they had given me someone else's order, wow , is this how a big company pride themselves on , a mediocre efficiency >?? they should learn from Wendy's !

Was physically still open when I walked in past 9pm and was told to use the drive through. Took my business elsewhere since I'm on foot and they won't serve you drive through without a car. Talk about choosing to lose business.

This review is specifically for this location not McDonalds in general. Update: they keep forgetting the apple slices in the Happy Meals. The one healthy thing in the whole meal. Mommy and Daddy are not pleased. Update 2: they really, really need to double-check the orders. They almost always forget something. We ordered two combos and didn't get any fries. Also, they said that they ran out of toys for the Happy Meals and promised cookies instead which they promptly forgot. Fast service and always friendly. There's ample parking in back. Getting in and out on Fair Oaks can be difficult. I've been here a number of times, and it seems pretty consistent (something I can't say about other locations).

Ok, so i never do this but just felt compelled. I ordered 6 piece nuggets and got 4. I opened it, and there were only 3. Then to top it off, they forgot my sauce. I live 5 minutes from here but wont be going back

The atmosphere and service, and the food was fine, but the next day I woke up I had food poisoning. I ordered a large fries and a mccrispy sandwich. I believe that the lettuce inside the sandwich was molding, but I didn’t realize until I finished the sandwich. Please fix this asap

I understand that McDonald's isn't the place you'd go for the best service or quality, but I think you should still be able to expect reasonable wait times in a drive through and the correct food with your order... especially after they "put you on hold" at the drive through twice? when the whole place is empty? I came here around 10:00PM trying to grab something to eat on the way home. Not only did it take 30 minutes to get through the drive through although there was no one else there, they managed to still get my food wrong, which was a simple 3 McChicken sandwiches. I understand that this isn't the classiest/best of fast food joints, but come on...

My order has been messed up every time. either it’s the whole thing or 1-2 items missing. This time I ordered at the self order kiosk, thinking it’d be easier since it’s all written out for them and they still messed it up… I was the only customer there too. It’s best to go somewhere else. I wouldn’t have gone but the place I wanted to pick up from closed earlier.

Never ready in the morning at 5:30am. Orders take a very long time. About a 10 min Wait. Every morning doesn’t fail. If they open at 5:30am they should be ready to serve at 5:30am. I would leave less stars if I could.

I was here just to get a cup of coffee yesterday evening. The drive through was busy so I went inside to the counter. The manager saw me and said he'd be right with me. I waited 3 minutes. No one helped me. I decided to use the restroom. Afterwards I went back to the counter. Several employees saw me standing there, including the manager. None of them said anything to me. No one else was at the counter both times I stood there. After another 3 minutes I left and got a coffee at the Coffee Bean near by. Was I too impatient? Should they have said something to me the second time I stood at the counter?

I was in the drive thru for more that 30 minutes and when I finally got to the second window the workers told me to go to park my car to keep waiting. This place seems to have a very bad customer service. Then when the worker came with my order to my car, he told me that I supposed to park close to the entrance to the restaurant because he doesn’t want to walk to long to bring the food to my car. This place is full of contradictions. I would never come back to this place and I don’t recommend this place. It happened on 3/19/21 at 10:20pm.

I was looking forward to my food unfortunately it wasn't all that great. Fries taste like they were refried and salty. I asked for a coke and received a dr. Pepper. Also my blue raspberry was half melted already like if it was sitting for awhile before I received it.

EVERYTIME I go here they mess up my order. It's so simple but they always mess it up. I feel like their employees didn't even graduate high school at how clueless they typically are.

This was my Filet o’ fish that I ordered the other day. I contacted Mc Donald’s and got an email back from them stating that they hoped I would return to give them more business. 🫤 This is how I received the order with the cheese outside of the Filet o’ fish without even touching a sandwich and the cheese draped over the folding part of the cardboard box. Of course I opened it up to take a look at the sandwich because I was so surprised. I did not eat it and just threw it away. How does something like this even happen?
