Used to come here weekly when I worked in the area. Had to get my lychee freeze and eggettes fix. Never had a wait.

[+] you can still ask for this if they don't have it listed as their special flavor (the owner told me they may have the mix in the back) ALOE LEMON HONEY GREEN TEA ($3) [+] aloe bits, a real slice of lemon, not sugared up tea [+] incredibly refreshing [+/-] one of the more pricey drinks [+] boba not needed! boba + aloe bits is just doing too much, yo LYCHEE GREEN TEA [+] lots and lots of lychee bits [+] tastes better than lychee milk tea, imo BOBA is an additional 50 cents, regardless if you want "less" boba. PARKING is free and available in front as well as in the 7-11 lot.

Love eggettes! The eggettes are always made perfectly - slightly chewy but mostly light and airy with a crispy outer layer. Always a good stop. Boba is good too! 😊

I cant believe I can get egg waffles (eggettes) in the us. Taste as good as I has one in Hong Kong. Milk teas are okay, not exciting like egg waffles though.

I don't come by egg waffles all that often so when the tea-mood struck this was a good spot to try. The melon egg waffle has a very light honeydew flavor that's a little hard to catch at times but is still cakey and delicious. Freezes/slushes seem to be a large focus at this spot which works for me because that's my favorite. Not too sweet and the texture was perfect. The space is pretty open but there's lots of table space crammed in. The employees are constantly moving and very efficient.

This has become my family's favorite local boba and eggettes place ever since our friends introduced it to us 2 years ago! It's easily accessible off of El Camino, with street parking and parking lot available. The inside is clean, welcoming, but not overly fancy. The staff is super nice and friendly. After going there several times, I have settled on a favorite drink: lychee green milk tea with tapioca. Depending on who's working, they remember my order! We also love the eggettes there; we always order it extra crispy now to get the best crunch. They also offer a few snacks on the side that are pretty decent, especially if you're craving popcorn chicken or soup at that moment. All in all, I highly recommend this place!

I’ve been coming here for more than 20 years and this is my favorite boba place in the world. I also love the Hong Kong snacks (shark fin soup, rice rolls, curry fish balls, siu mai, and bubble waffles!!!). The fruit boba drink as are always so fresh. Also the people are wonderful and always make my day happier every time.

The owner is friendly, with great service and he is usually there helping customers. I have enjoyed this place since I was in high school when he first opened. He has managed to keep on going even through the pandemic. His hours are now 12:30-6:30 everyday except closed on Wednesday now.

The place to go for eggettes/egg waffles. No other place makes it as well as them. It's a good place to hang out, with wifi available, a TV that plays music/music videos, and a crane game machine. The crane game has good things to pick up and it is possible to win things from it! The drinks and other snacks are good too.

The egg puffs are delicious! Soft on the inside, slightly crunchy on the outside. The drinks were okay but the boba was nice and chewy.

I'm a regular here, I come every Monday and Wednesday and I usually get their blueberry freeze and original crispy chicken. I took off a star because their drinks are usually too sweet, and their tables are sometimes dirty.

This place has the very very very best "Chinese Eggettes" around entire Northern California... especially the order is made by the boss man! "Golden crispy outside, and semi-moist/soft yolk inside"~~ If you compare others and here, you will know to stop going to your regular shop for Eggettes! My husband spoils me very much that he can drive an hour to reach this place when I crave for the eggettes. We actually go to this place one to two times a month. One time my husband was speeding on HWY 101 and got a ticket ($400ish) because we want to get to the shop before its closing hour, and he was begging police to write up the ticket fast so we would not miss it. Tee-hee-hee... The $400 dollars ticket rushing over for the $5 Chinese cookies was totally not worth it but it become a sweet memory between husband and I. Keep up the quality please~~

Ample free street parking on El Camino Real and parking lot in front of 7 Eleven. Decent line and wait time during any time of the week. Two UFO prize grabbers with decent prizes such as fidget spinners, Disney plushies, figurines and water bottles. More than ten tables to choose from to sit down, eat your popcorn chicken (better than Quickly's) and down it with milk tea/snow. I subtracted one star because this location isn't the most visually appealing compared to Eggettes in downtown San Mateo. Additionally, there are more various food and drink options at the Eggettes in downtown San Mateo than in SSF. I wish the owner added newer food and drink options because it's been the same menu for the past few years. Will I be returning to Eggettes in SSF? Of course. I come here once or twice a week with my boyfriend, J, for their drinks and the UFO prize grabbers.

I was dying to have a waterelon juice with lychee. On the way home I stopped at Eggettes. There was one poor fella working the counter, and a long line, but that guy was making bobba, eggettes, and chicken as fast as fast can be! I didn't know what to expect. I have a love hate relationship with bobba, the tapioca is so good, but so weird. So when a friend recently brought me a 'bobba' with lychee jelly, all of the bobba pieces of the bobba puzzle came together. WATERMELON JUICE WITH LYCHEE JELLY - watermelon juice super good, lychee jelly ok (I liked the jelly from Tapioca express it had better texture and more flavor) THAI TEA WITH TAPIOCA - Thai tea was a little weaker than traditional Thai teas from Thai restaurants, tapioca was good (I think I'd try a different tea next time) HONEYDEW EGGETTES - OMG WTF AMAZEBALLS. I was standing in line trying to decide whether or not to get these, and I am SO glad I did. They look like giant bubble wrap, or alien cookies if you have an overactive imagination like me. I was wondering if they were going to be eggy, they're not. They're light and crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. ORIGINAL CRISPY CHICKEN - lightly floured, then deep-fried, then re-heated in an oven. They were really good. Next time, I will ask for them plain without the cheese and green stuff. And I'll also ask for some sauce. I imagine that it will take me several trips to find my favorite juice/tea situation (so many choices: tea, juice, frozen, tapioca, extra tapioca, fruit/tea combo). I think at Eggettes I will stick with tapioca. I will definitely be back for Eggettes, and the chicken. I was sad to see they had fin soup... until I read more carefully and realized it was imitation. Good on ya Eggettes, for serving imitation shark fin :) Minus 1 star... the interior of Eggettes needed a little refreshing (new paint on the walls and a good cleaning).

We like the egg waffles. They are tasty, especially hot off the iron, and kind of fun to eat. We usually get the regular flavor, occasionally the chocolate also. We have had egg waffles at other places in the Bay Area but we think Eggettes is the best. The bubble tea drinks are okay. We think that the drinks are better at other places.

This place has some of the best boba drinks, not overly sweey & delicious natural flavors. Eggettes are awsome, a sweet batter cooked on some kind of griddle, & are egg shaped & hallow on the inside. Has 2 or 3 flavors. Place could use somekind of a remodel, very drab looking, not a cozy place. Other then that pretty good.

The storefront itself is a bit dated, and has seen better days. After they removed the internet cafe portions they never really repurposed the space or decorations. They had made my drink before the egg puffs. By the time the egg puffs was finished and they called my number, the ice of the drink had already melted. The drink did not taste that good and the egg puffs were decent but not worth the wait.
