Went here for lunch and sat at the bar, it was excellent. I completely changed up my burger from the way it was on the menu and it was cooked perfectly medium rare and was delicious. The rolls and fries were also amazing. The bartender was super nice too

Outdoor is perfect and very nice. Outdoor waiter is judging from the cover not the book, otherwise everyone was a perfect gentleman and ladies.

i went here for dinner and just followed Google Maps. i saw this steak place that specializes in very large steaks. They have the large bone-in ribeye , NY strip and some filet mignon as well. I ordered swordfish as Im the NE to eat seafood. the lump crab cake was good and I wanted some lentils. I took the swordfish home with me. I also had 2 servings of spinach. very good

What a delicious candlelit evening experience! We started with Crab Cakes & Bluepoint Oysters! The crab cakes were meaty with an added hint of chipotle sauce. The Bluepoints were crisp and refreshing. (I’m not usually a fan of Bluepoints but these were super fresh) For the entrees we indulged in the Seafood Linguine and Mediterranean Bronzino. The seafood linguini was packed with Lobster and Clams. While the Bronzino had the perfect savory flavor. Our hostess greeted us with great energy and the server was friendly. Blackstone is Perfect for a date night or business dinner if you want to impress clients.

Wow amazing, first we start with the great service the place was pack but we still receiving awesome service, the stakes came out to our liking, and every bit of food we got was so tasteful. If you want to have some really good stake and make it a fancy date night I recommend this place. Make sure to wear mask and make reservations. One more thing they're alcoholic beverages are awesome

The food is out of this world the staff is extremely kind and helpful. There's a fantastic atmosphere in the restaurant with nice artwork and sculptures. Very kind owner who is extremely personable and takes good care of his customers. Love the steaks and everything I've tried on the menu. I would recommend to anyone who loves good food and good service.

First time going to Blackstone's Grille so I didn't know what to expect. My brother and brother-in-law both gave reviews so we had to check it out for ourselves. We arrived early on a Thursday night with 5:00 PM reservations. The restaurant was fairly empty but by the time we left a couple of hours later the place was packed with people waiting to be seated at the door. So let me tell you the food was great! Most of us had Filets cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding top to bottom! Make sure to get reservations and you will have the time of your life. I am showing you the special menu so that you know you have some choices. Loved it!

5/5! The food was so good - we ate our entrees and I didn’t get to take pictures 😫. We came from NY to escape quarantine & we couldn’t have been happier. All we wanted was steakhouse hospitality and it was top notch. The owner made us feel like family. Highly recommend

We always enjoy dining at this restaurant and find the atmosphere perfect for any occasion. The food never disappoints but the service is beyond top-notch! Recently 'Bujar' was our waiter and we could not ask for better service. He was absolutely fantastic! Please note that if Fairfield University is having 'parents weekend' or graduation the place gets packed fast. Highly recommended.

I've been to this restaurant many times and felt that I needed to share as this place never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, you know you are in for a great experience. I came with two friends it was amazing! We got a NY strip and I got a filet migon. Cooked just the way we liked it and the sides were amazing and a great portion especially for sharing. Service was great and our waiter was so so sweet and made sure everything was good. Definitely recommend coming here with family, friends or even solo. Ambiance was nice too.

I recently visited Blackstones Steakhouse in Southport with two friends, and we had an excellent dining experience from start to finish!! The atmosphere was upscale yet welcoming, perfect for a night out with friends or a special occasion. I ordered the New York Strip, and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly to my medium-rare request. To complement it, we shared a side of creamed spinach The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Highly recommend for steak lovers or anyone looking for a refined dining experience in Southport.

We went for the 1st time last night. Hazem was our server. He was magnificent! What a nice guy. Servers are the most important part of a dining experience. The food was absolutely fabulous. Can't wait to go back!

We were there for a birthday celebration food slightly pricey, but worth it!! Our server "Mario" top notch, with him your plates will never be empty, your drinks will never run dry!! Seriously! Great team as well. Great food!!!!!!

Was there for restaurant week and it was very busy but our server Joseph was very nice and was on top of everything the second we sat down. The food and selections were excellent and It was my husband's Birthday and Joseph went out of his way to sing for us which capped off a beautiful night. Will definitely be back!!!

Blackstones Grille in Southport was absolutely wonderful! They catered my sister-in-law’s baby shower and everything exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The customer service was fantastic from start to finish: professional, attentive, and genuinely caring about making the event special. Every single guest enjoyed the food and we received so many compliments on the catering. I highly recommend them for any event!

Came here for the first time for my boyfriend’s birthday on a Monday night. Such a great staff, especially our waiter Bujar. Everyone was very attentive to us and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. Everything from drinks, to appetizers, to dinner, to dessert 10/10. Definitely coming back for all of our special holidays!

Went here for the steak and pasta, but the best part was the atmosphere and service. Our waiter Bujar was very polite and made the experience very pleasant. Definitely will be coming back.

The prime rib on Thursdays is pretty phenomenal. Great beefy taste and plenty of au jus. Bought one to-go for my 95 year old parents; they made four meals of it.

The Hostess, Hadi, greeted us as soon as we walked in with immediate kindness and was extremely welcoming. Our waiter, Besian, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. He is a great ambassador for this establishment and took extreme good care of us. The food was impeccable, I recommend the fried calamari and the chicken parmigiana! Overall, this was a great experience for my friends and I will definitely be back!

I honestly don’t think there is anything “fantastic” about the food. It’s not bad but it’s New England regular at best. The ambiance is amazing and the service is 5 star which makes for an overall experience.

In fairness we just had some appetizers. Sat at the bar and the bartender was great, friendly, attentive and made good drinks. Again only had apps and they were ok. Bacon was a little fatty and buratta and beet salad was good but didn’t fit together. The nuts were too sweet and the buratta was cold snd not melty. The bread was very good, warm and crispy on the outside but the butter was like air (not in a good way). It was light and airy but added nothing. Maybe if they gave a sprig of salt to add it would have elevated it. The jardiniere that came with the bread was not my favorite but that is likely a personal preference. Will try again to taste the steaks but from what we had I would not rate it as one of the best I have bern to. Having said that it was getting very crowded by the time we left.

Followed G reviews for this steakhouse...overrated on Google reviews. Not up to par with other steak establishments like the Palm, Capital Grille or Rith Chris in Tyson's Corner, VA. Stopped for dinner in our way to play at the Country Club at Brookeline. Server was very inexperienced and eventually swapped out by a more knowledgeable waitress/bartender. Appetizers were fair and cocktails were pre-made and kept in fridge. Entre was a salty sea bass. Good enough food but not extraordinary.

Our sides were delicious. Creamed spinach just delightful. Baked potato was well seasoned and fluffy. The meat. Awful. My filet mignon - the quality was the worst. It tasted like paper. Tough as heck. My boyfriend veal chop was really bad. I don’t go to a steak restaurant for the sides. It’s all about the meat. Won’t be back.

Went there for my SIL BD. My brother's steak was over done. I ordered filet mignon Benedict. The steak and salad were excellent. The eggs were not fully cooked, the muffin was not toasted so it was raw and the hollandaise was cold. They didn't offer us coffee until i asked. The place was practically empty so I don't understand why the food quality was so variable.

We had a delicious meal at Southport Blackstone’s. The bad service started from the second we sat down. Table set with wine glasses, no water glasses. Ordered our drinks, took 15 minutes to return with the drinks. Didn’t get water until we asked for it. Never got the olives and bread the other tables got. Finished our drinks and waited until our dinner came 25 minutes later to ask if we’d like another drink. We each ordered a glass of red wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Cooked to perfection. Waiter came back and asked if we’d like a dessert menu. We said sure. After another 20 minutes, he came back and asked if we ever got our dessert menus. We asked for the check. Another 10 minutes for the check. I completely understand that it was Valentine’s Day and it was busy. But we watched others get better attention. When you pay $264 for a dinner for two, I think you deserve better attention.

I’ll start by saying that the location is very classy and has a upscale decor. I went on a Sunday 4 pm for an early dinner, the restaurant had only a few guests. The service was good. My problem is when it comes to the food. We started with clams casino and they were ok. I had the huge tomahawk as a main course and the meat was just rancid. I mentioned to the manager and he said that it was the dry aging taste, I laughed… lol …. I have had many dry aged steak dinners and I know the taste. Just like I know when a piece of meat went bad. The people that were on the table next to me sent theirs back to…. So… they have a problem for sure with their quality control. My girlfriend had the sea bass and to be honest only ok too! When it comes to fine dining and fine dining restaurants pricing I get picky because they are charging premium price for mediocre, rancid food.

Last year, M&T Bank hosted us for Christmas. I've taken my family there as well and had the same experience. Not worth the money, at least not the one in Southport, CT. The one in Norwalk, CT is much better.

Went here for dinner on Valentine's Evening, all though the food was amazing, the server suck. We got there at 9:30 and waited a hour for our food. The server took our order and never came back to the table. The was a bus lady helping us most of the time. While we was waiting for our food the table next to us who came way after us got their food before us. It was our first time at this restaurant and I am not sure if I would frequent this establishment again due to the poor service. Even it was busy, we watch him cater to the table that was two seats over from us. This guy was tall Caucasian older guy black hair heavier build.

Reservation 8:00 for 3 arrived at 6:30 wife waited in line to put in our name. She was next in line, but the male host started speaking to the next couple standing behind her. The couple said that she was there first. The host turns to say hi to some people. He then goes back to the couple and disregards my wife... meanwhile I watch. I interrupt and said we are here for an 8:00 reservation and going to the bar for drinks. I responded to an opentable text. I replied if a table opens up will take it. At 7:00 bartender apologizes for swearing and having a difficult time as glass trays are in his walk way. At 7:45 I reminded host that we are still waiting, no pressure as have been at the bar since 6:30 and have been waiting already.. At 8:00 we gather to go to the front. There is an unmade table at the entrance which has been unmade since we arrived at 6:30. They are making it up and placing a table cloth on it. The host says it's my table. There is a cold draft coming in as its next to the host table which is at the front door. So this is how you are treated when making a reservation thru the OpenTable app and how Blackstone treats OpenTable guests or reservations. You would think the amount of time to get a lousy table ready, when it was all along ready since 6:30 unmade. You should of sat us down because you had no intention of giving any other table except for that. I feel that the host was racist. He never came over to ask how our table was. The host already disregarded my whole group, and basically that table was a "I forgot to get you a table" or "i'm gonna get you sucker." At the table, we wanted to order a bottle of Malbec, but the waiter insisted on buying by the glass. Great... whatever. Thought we would be receiving by the glass, but comes back with a bottle. The guys agree that my wife is the wine tester. She pushes her glass towards the waiter as she is the taster, but the waiter still filled my glass which I pushed towards my wife. She was disregarded again, this time by the waiter. Asked if he knew how many Escargot come in the appetizer. He guessed five... but it was actually 6 as I wanted to have everyone in the party to have an equal share. Escargot comes out and we eat it, but something is missing. We did not receive bread as I look at the adjacent tables. I would like to wipe my mouth but there are no napkins. Stopped a passing waiter for napkin and another waitress for bread. At the end of the meal, the Waiter asked what happened to the rest of my tip... it's just $10 dollars. I explained everyone else around you helped as we handed other staff that helped their tip. Our waiter said he would inform the owner of how our night went.. I don't think he would. If he did, great. If he didn't, then this review is for someone to remind him of what happened. With the photo... you can see empty tables. You could estimate that the remaining people were seated around 8:00. I don't recall seeing anymore people seated after 8:00. They would have to pass by my table. Therefore, those were possible tables that we could of been seated at. We spent $1200 for three of us last month.. what happened? I see all new faces...

I went to Blackstones tonight for Prime Rib night which is always on Thursdays. The Ceaser salad was premade and ice cold and soggy. It was not fresh. The prime rib was supposed to be cooked medium and it came out medium well. My friends was supposed to be rare and came out medium. Both were cut way too thick and had the consistency of tough steak and not buttery soft prime rib. We both did not like it at all. Very disappointed. It was cooked like a steak not prime rib. Considering that's what we went there for it was very discerning. It didn't even come with a vegetable just lumpy mashed potatoes for $55. The whole meal from start to finish was awful. I took the meat home for my dogs, they will enjoy it more. The manager was extremely apologetic and took half of the meal off. But honestly it hurt to even pay for half.
