La Cantina restaurant in the center of St. Michael Eppan is run by an Italian family. They serve excellent Italian cuisine and pizza, with a special focus on fish! The restaurant's decor is ultra-modern! In the summer, there are tables both inside and outside. Friendly waitresses provide service, and the menu offers both German and Italian options! ✅

We went to this restaurant for dinner last night on the recommendation of a colleague, and we'll definitely be back again and again. The place is very nice, both in terms of its decor and its setting. The staff was very friendly, and we even had a lovely chat with the owner's wife. The food was very fresh, you could smell it already. The appetizer was a well-seasoned octopus salad, followed by homemade tagliatelle with seafood, a fried fish dish that was both crispy and soft, yet not nauseating, so very little oil was used, and finally, an excellent tiramisu. Nothing to say except try it!

The restaurant is slightly out of town, but Appiano isn't a metropolis! The restaurant has three spaces: an outdoor area, a winter garden, and an indoor dining room, furnished in a modern yet traditional style. The pizzas and seafood dishes, as well as the desserts, are highly recommended. Due to a lack of staff, the service wasn't top-notch.

The food was very good, especially the fried fish. The waiters were all very friendly. Because many people were closed today, this place was particularly busy. Unfortunately, this also led to a wait of over an hour for the food. The ambiance was very nice both inside (very modern, but cozy) and outside. Despite the wait, I'm giving it 5 stars because it wasn't normal.

Sono un frequentatore abituale. Proprietari simpatici. Cuoco siciliano, come il menù, essenzialmente. Cucina genuina, onesta e di qualità. Unico neo, se vogliamo proprio trovarlo, la scelta del menù non è ampissima.

Basically, the food and service was good. My Bolognese portion was too small. No Pizza during the day and no Canola for desert which were both reasons to pick this restaurant. Both made me feel disappointed.

Pizza sconsigliata, piatti di pesce sufficienti,dessert stendiamo un velo pietoso, servizio lento e prezzi altini.L'unica pietanza ad avere una bella faccia vedendolo passare il fritto misto....ma non l'abbiamo ordinato.... Inspiegabilmente la sala era piena...noi non ci torneremo.Ho scritto tutto questo 3 anni fa... Ci siamo tornati quest'estate durante uno dei mercoledì lunghi di Appiano e devo dire che a livello di pizza la situazione è migliorata notevolmente. Non so se i gestori sono gli stessi. Per altri piatti non posso dire niente perché non li ho provati di persona, come invece avevo fatto 3 anni fa

Dentro rinovato, fuori non è bello per niente, mentre mangi ti passa là gente davanti tramite il passaggio che separa il restaurante, Non puoi dire che il locale ha tavoli al aperto….. Lo sconsiglio per famiglie con bambini, non hanno né giardino né alcun altro spazio per far correre i bambini al aperto. Un piccolo semplice locale dì paesino. Qualità media -prezzo più alto rispetto alla media
