I usually don’t say this but this was by far one of the best dining experiences ever. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything was PERFECT. Huge compliments to the chefs, bartenders, food runners, our servers Olivia and Lily, THE WHOLE STAFF. Highly recommend this place!!

I had an amazing experience here, both for brunch and dinner! For brunch, the Brunch Bowl was fresh and flavorful, the Shrimp and Grits were creamy and well-seasoned, and the Chicken and Waffles had the perfect balance of crispy, juicy, and sweet. The mocktails were refreshing and creative perfect for midday. The service was outstanding, and the warm, inviting ambiance, with its elegant gold and green interior combination, added a touch of glam. After such a fantastic brunch, I returned for dinner, and it did not disappoint! I had the best cocktail and tried the Tokyo Shrimp, Curry Mussels, Samosa, Snapper and Peruvian Chicken, which was out of this world. The flavors were bold, fresh, and expertly crafted. Can’t wait to return—highly recommend!

The food was OUTSTANDING!!! Even the drinks. Presentation was lovely. The atmosphere was so nice. Love the sparkle wall especially when the lights went dim. The employees were really nice too. I got Thai Beef Salad, Vegetable spring rolls, butterfly effect and coco Royale. Delicious!

So underrated! The short rib sliders and mac & cheese are amazing — seriously some of the best food in the area. Large cocktail list, fun vibe, and a little on the louder side (definitely more of a social dinner spot than a quiet date night).

St. Petersburg: 5⭐ Review: Fantastic spot in St. Petersburg! The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. It can get a bit crowded and loud at times, but the lively atmosphere adds to the experience. Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent brunch and perfect way to kick off Sunday Funday! Definitely bring your appetite because the food is delicious! You cannot go wrong with the chicken and waffles or the shrimp and grits. For the rosé all day crowd, I highly recommend the Pineapple Mimosa - it was incredible!

The food and atmosphere was very good! The staff were very friendly, but it was a little slow. The server did apologize and said it was a "crazy day" (maybe short staff?). This was our first visit and we enjoyed our appetizers, entrees, and drink. Saja’s recommendations were spot on. She was pleasant and attentive. My husband is a bigger guy, so the table could have been a little bigger. Other than that, the atmosphere was fun. Good music.

I went for brunch and our server lil was amazing !! 🤍 the food is very good and you definitely get your money’s worth, if you’re looking for a cute brunch spot definitely check it out, inside and out is nice.

Decided on this place for our brunch crew xmas dinner party. Glad I picked this place very festive atmosphere tis the season, no DJ of live entertainment I was actually relieved about not having to compete with the music so the person next to me could hesr what i was saying lol. Lilly our server was phenomenal super sweet and was on her “A” game.

I am so unbelievably impressed with this restaurant, I gasped so many times from how great the drinks and food were The samosas, short rib sliders, espresso martini and finally the best cocktail I have ever had is the pink’s up. I am beyond impressed with the service from Samantha, who freaking knew the menu like the back of her hand. Please give her a raise she deserves the whole world!!!! The ambiance and the quality of even the helpful from the host (she has glasses brown hair). You can tell everyone loves their job here, this is someone who also works in a restaurant and can tell when it’s a quality team. Great job guys! I will be telling all my friends and family about this place!!!!

Anniversary Dinner there was very good. I had the Butter Chicken with a side of plantains my wife had the shrimp and grits both was outstanding.

Came here for a brunch/lunch for my best friend’s birthday weekend! Our server was clearly busy but stayed kind and attentive! Our drinks were out this world yummy. Each of our dishes were prepared deliciously with a wonderful culmination of flavors! We got a variety of dishes from the pot pie, grilled chicken Caesar salad, fried chicken sandwich, and avocado toast. We were happy with each and would return again!

Red snapper. Incredibly tasty. The seasoning was well balanced with the coconut. Super yummy. We sat outside on a nice night. Service was excellent!

The southwestern Cobb salad was filling and a great size salad. The flavors messed well together and the ambiance is modern and chic with a great playlist.

Stopped in for some drinks and apps. Sat at the bar and we had excellent service! The drinks and apps were amazing!!! Awesome Christmas drinks!!!

Had brunch at social roost today. Everything was incredible. Arguably the best espresso martini in town! The mussels were to die for! They are served with a huge portion of the most perfectly toasted bread to dip in the broth. The shrimp and grits were also wonderful. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and told us all about his creations and inspiration behind all of their house made syrups, and juices and what not. We are looking forward to going back!

I can’t say enough good things about Social Roost! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming—it truly felt like a safe space where you could just relax and be yourself. Our waitress, Olivia, was absolutely amazing. Not only was she attentive and kind, but she also has incredible music taste that added to the already great vibe of the place. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Keep the aux with her! The food was delicious—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. And the watermelon mocktail? So refreshing and exactly what I needed on a hot Florida day. If you’re looking for a spot in St. Pete with great food, good energy, and even better people, Social Roost is it. I’ll definitely be back anytime I'm in town.

A fantastic place for brunch! The classic combo of chicken and waffles were incredible. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned. The waffle was fluffy but still had a light crisp. The butter and syrup were tasty. The pork hash was a nice dish. Great flavor and nice consistency. The service was great and the modern yet flashy decor was nice. Would recommend!

Olivia was a great server and provided so much insight into the menu, the drink list, and all things Social Roost. Such a fun time for a girls night out! Loved the food, specifically the mac and cheese. Will definitely be back!

Had such a great experience here, service was slow and they werent busy but the food makes up for that 10 times over. The curry mussels were amazing, bruschetta was so fresh, the mac and cheese was the perfect spicy cheesy combo, chicken milanese was great. portion sizes were amazing. Will be back!!

We had such a great night here. From the moment we sat down, everything just flowed perfectly. We ordered the chicken samosas, butter chicken, and the tuna poke, and honestly we kept looking at each other like, “Okay… this is really good.” The samosas were crisp and packed with flavor, the butter chicken was rich and comforting in the best way, and the tuna poke was incredibly fresh. It was one of those meals where you’re already planning what you’re coming back for next time. But what really made the night stand out was Saja. She was incredible from start to finish — warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged without ever hovering. We trusted her recommendations and she absolutely nailed every single one. You can tell she knows the menu inside and out and actually cares about making sure you have a great experience. It never felt transactional — it felt welcoming. Lily R at the bar was also fantastic. She asked about our flavor preferences and created custom drinks that were spot on. You can tell she takes real pride in her craft. Between the amazing food and the top-tier service, this was easily a 10/10 experience. We’ll absolutely be back.

We went here for Valentine’s Day dinner and honestly had such a great time. They were offering a prefixed menu for the night, and everything we tried was really good. The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Each course felt well thought out and nothing disappointed. The atmosphere was just as good as the food. The whole place had a cozy, romantic vibe without feeling over the top. It made the night feel special. Overall, great food, great ambience, and just a really nice experience. We’d definitely come back!

We love Social Roost. We have been going since they opened and have always had consistently great food and service. It’s an eclectic menu with something for everyone. Their cocktail program is 100%. We typically sit at the bar and huge props to Lily, Lil, Matt, Reed and Sam. We are usually there for brunch - standouts for us are ricotta toast, brunch bowl, frittatas and bacon! Lunch / dinner - chicken samosa app, tuna poke and butter chicken. Oh - and chicken and waffles!! YUM!!

We came from a recommendation from a friend and SO glad we did!! The food was good, drinks were better but what really set the whole experience off was our service. Our server, Saja, will have us coming back time and time again just to sit with her. She was fun, funny, and attentive. I never leave reviews, but I had to let anyone thinking of coming here know: get the short rib sliders and request Saja as your server. You will not be disappointed!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at this restaurant. The special menu was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Jon, the manager, and his team really created a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be a returning customer.

The service here was really good. They were on top of things and definitely took care of us. In my personal opinion I do think the food was overpriced for the amount you get. My friend got the pot pie that was really small. The ribs were over 40$ but so yummy! It is a small place and can get very busy so reservations are a must!

Great location in downtown St. Pete. We had a reservation but ended up having to wait about 20-30 minutes for our table. Our server Lily was amazing!!! We had great food and quick service once we were seated. Drinks were fun and delish. We were outside so it was a bit noisy and hot but not too bad. Would recommend trying this spot!

Ceviche was good, same as the mac and cheese. The half chicken was fine but the tuna felt a little weird. Weirdly they didn’t have any servers at the time we were there so the bartender had to take tables, serve the bar and make the drinks (she was very nice though) just odd 🤷🏽‍♀️

I would have liked to give them 5 stars but just couldn't get there. If they had comped our disable guest a drink for getting him stuck in the lift they would have got 5 stars or maybe even 10 from me. Hey, all is well. They did get him out again and we did all have a great time. And the food and drinks were all fantastic. Cocktails and mocktails. I will say our party had a delightful time this evening and our waitress Sam(antha) was delightful.

My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day. I’ll be honest the weight was a nightmare, we had originally had an 8:30 reservation and were seated around 10:30. We were informed they were no longer doing the prefixed menu and it worked out for the better. By the end of the night we didn’t mind that we had waited. The Bruschetta was to die for, the short rib was amazing. I got the refresher drink and it was also very good. Our server was excellent as well so shout out to her.

In a very good location 👌. However, food was not the best, I had the Peruvian chicken, but the chicken was dry or overcooked My wife had the eggplant and it was full of grease and excessive cheese. Overall a 6.5 out of 10. Not a repeat for us.

Unfortunately, the food was subpar and absolutely not worth the $450 we spent on Valentine’s Day. My boyfriend made the reservation, and we were placed on a preset four-course menu, but we were never informed it would be $150 per person even if it was it's not worth it. The goat cheese bread was just okay, the seafood soup was served cold, the chicken was dry, and the steak was overcooked. By the time dessert came around, we weren’t even interested anymore. I’ve had $400 dinners before, so I understand what that price point should deliver and this simply wasn’t it. Really disappointing, especially for a special occasion.

Walked out. It takes a lot for me to write something, especially something negative, about an establishment. We had a 7:30 reservation on Friday the 13th, for dinner. Understandably, they were packed, being the day before Valentines day. We had no issue with waiting, as we were informed they were running behind. We grabbed two old fashions at the bar to have while we waited. Service at the bar was fast, and the drinks were delicious. Around 8:10 I asked how much longer they thought it was going to be, we were informed about 10 min, still good, no issues. The host came out shortly after and said if we didn't have a preference, she could sit us now inside. We were stoked. We sat...and sat...and watched people who were sat after us be greeted and receive service. Noone even acknowledged us. We saw two different servers talk to the table next to us (who were sat after us), and when they came to take their entre order, when we hadn't even been spoken to, we left. It had been about 20 min, and an hour after our reservation.

DO NOT COME HERE! First time being here and absolutely the LAST. We paid $150 per person for the prefix that they RAN OUT OF. And they took reservations until 10 for the prefix menu?! Valentines dinner was an absolute disaster, we had our reservation at 7:30- didn’t get seated until 8:00 and that was because we asked about the empty tables. Our waitress was terrible, took her time on everything and took 40 minutes each time to get us drinks. She got mad at me when I asked about our drinks. Was chatting to other staff the whole time and taking her time on everything. Told me the butter chicken wasn’t available so I ordered something else, suddenly the kitchen came with both entrees and the waitress got mad at me for turning away the other entree that I didn’t even want but ordered because I thought the initial one was out?! Then at the end my boyfriend and I were telling eachother “I love you” (also it’s Valentine’s Day hello??) as we walked out and I heard the waitress mocking us with the bartender being like “I LOVE YOUUU OH I LOVE YOU TOO”. And started going off about us saying that as we’re LEAVING. Worst establishment I have ever been in. Food was bad, wait staff was terrible. There are so many other places to go to- AVOID THIS ONE ITS NOT WORTH IT.

We booked a Valentine’s day dinner reservation for a 5 course dinner for $150 a person. The restaurant ran out of the tasting dinner before our reservation. They overbooked themselves so we had one waitress outside to cover close to 20 tables. No back up fuel to light outside heaters in February. We were freezing and asked to be pIaced inside and were told “no”. I asked to speak with the manager and was told he was too busy for the next hour to speak with customers. Left and went to Try a Wine and had absolutely fabulous food and service.

Sadly, I do not recommend this place anymore. I’ve been to brunch for 2 people at it was great a year ago. However, do NOT go with a bigger party. We had reservations for 8 people at the high top table and it took 45 min to get one cocktail. The server had zero apologies. The food was decently good but the service took away from the whole experience. After dinner our server told us we had only 10 min more left at the table, which was fine, I understand time limit. But this was also after she told us that 20% tip was automatically added to our check and then she only receives 5% of that so then asked for ADDITIONAL 20-30% to go towards her. This is INSANE if this is their policy. Basically they want a 40-50% tip. And for terrible and extremely slow service. I will never return to this place.

We went to this restaurant on February 14th with a reservation for 8:30 PM. We purchased the Valentine’s Day package that cost almost $400, expecting a special and memorable experience. Instead, we were not seated until 10:30 PM — TWO HOURS later. The place is extremely small and completely overrated. It looked nothing like the experience we were expecting, especially for that price. Waiting two hours in such a cramped space on Valentine’s Day was unacceptable. To make things worse, my boyfriend’s chicken was BURNT. And when I say burnt, I mean it was literally dark black. I regret so much not taking a picture because you might think I’m exaggerating, but I am absolutely not. It was completely unacceptable. We didn’t even ask for it to be replaced because by that time it was almost midnight and we were exhausted and just wanted to leave. Then, to top it off, as we were finishing, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert to eat there or to-go because it was so late — basically rushing us out. They were lifting chairs and cleaning around us while we were still sitting there. It felt like we were being kicked out. There were at least 10 couples — maybe even more — standing around waiting to be seated and served. It was clear they were overbooking and did not have the space or the quality of service to handle that many reservations. If you do not have the capacity, the organization, or the quality to provide a proper experience, please do not offer this kind of service — especially not for a $400 Valentine’s package. For almost $400, this was beyond disappointing. It completely ruined our Valentine’s night. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I will never come back to this unpleasant restaurant again.
