My partner and I visited this place on a whim, not expecting to be blown away by EVERYTHING. The atmosphere, drinks, appetizers, entrees, and service were outstanding. We had the Speakeasy Margarita & the Great Escape drinks which were perfectly balanced cocktails. We had the Crab Fritters appetizer & shared the Steak Frites with Parmesan fries and added a side of the Mac & cheese. The food was DELICIOUS. We both couldn’t stop talking about how tender the steak was & how good the sides were. My partner never really eats Mac & cheese at all, but I was surprised to see that he finished the entire bowl of his at this place. Our server Miguel was fantastic! He gave us a description of what we were ordering as we ordered each item so we knew exactly what we were getting. We can’t say enough about how great he was from start to finish, this restaurant should definitely be grateful to have him as part of their team! All around, this place is just wonderful. We live in Jackson, MS, but we already are planning to make a few trips back here JUST for this restaurant! 100/10 stars!

First time back in awhile. The menu has changed a bit but still delicious. We had the charcuterie board and a salad for starters. Anya, our server was wonderful! I got tableside whisky service and Jaylen made the most delicious old fashioned I think I've ever had, hands down! (I asked for the cherries) Carl, the manager was personable and made us feel welcomed and at home. Then, there's the star of the show....whiskey cake with fresh cream. And it did Not disappoint!!!

Food:Everything was fresh I love that! Most things are garnished with citrus, I didn't like that tho. Service was good from front door all the way back. Atmosphere is calm & intimate with a candle & fresh rosemary on each table for added touch. I enjoyed myself. Food portions are large.

My first time eating here. A truly fantastic find. The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The manager walked by and cleared plates off my table, always a good sign when management cares and helps their staff. I had a good server who answered all of my questions and made recommendations showing his knowledge of the menu. The gem to top off the experience was how good the dessert was. I am not one to rave about desserts but this was one of, if not the best dessert I have ever had at a restaurant. If you are considering dining out be sure and visit and leave room for dessert!

10 out of 10! Everything we ordered was perfect. You know a restaurant is confident in their food when there is no salt and pepper on the table. Everything was seasoned perfectly. We ordered the fish and chips, steak frites, Brussels, and fingerling potatoes, not one complaint about anything! A hidden gem is an understatement. Aaron (one of the managers) gave us a brief history of the restaurant and what makes them special, what a great experience! If I could score higher than 5 Stars I would! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Our first time to visit the Whiskey Cake restaurant in Stafford, Texas. It’s fantastic … great food and great service. Aaron Denune, the general manager is so personable and attentive. He inspires his team to do a great job! Our server was Onya, and she personifies excellent service. Always there to refill our drinks and ask if we need anything without being overbearing. Super friendly and you can tell she enjoys what she does and is great at her job. We were there celebrating my aunt‘s birthday and had the opportunity to share their famous “whiskey cake” dessert. It’s fabulous.!!! Would highly recommend anyone looking for a great place to eat to give Whiskey Cake in Stafford, Texas, a try.

We had an amazing experience at Whiskey Cake, thanks in large part to our incredible server, Miguel. From the moment we sat down, Miguel went above and beyond: friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food. He took the time to walk us through the menu, made some killer recommendations, and even convinced me to step out of my comfort zone and try the steak rare (I usually go medium rare)… and wow, he was right. It was absolutely perfect. There was also an older gentleman, possibly the GM, who stopped by a few times to check on us, which made us feel extra cared for. But Miguel was the real star. His energy, service, and attention to detail made our day. My friends and I had such a great time, and we’ll definitely be back, especially if we get lucky enough to sit in Miguel’s section again. He made it feel like more than just brunch, it was a whole vibe.

Food was great, our waitress was super sweet! First time here, was super stoked to try it due to high recommendations. I enjoy how dim it is inside the restaurant. I did go later in the evening but still a chill vibe. Started with their Deviled eggs, I probably wouldn’t get them again. It had a lot going on for my preference. We did try their Brussels sprouts, loved them. For my main entree I had their “Steak Frite”. My piece of meat was cook to perfection, I will forever rave about their fries. So much flavor, had some garlic to it plus the parmesan on top. Nice golden crunch. On top, the meal had Shishitos peppers. To me they weren’t spicy whatsoever, I wish it had a kick. Over all, everything was amazing. I can’t wait to come back to try more. Another note, I’ve heard good things about their Whiskey selection for those who enjoy a good Whiskey drink.

Whiskey Cake Factory has a really great atmosphere, warm, cozy, and just an overall nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. The food focuses on a farm-to-table style, which is cool, but for the price point, some dishes didn’t fully match the value. The steak was cooked well but leaned a bit too salty for my taste, while the fries were solid. The chicken and waffles were actually really good and probably one of the better dishes we tried. The hot cider was also pretty good, especially for the colder weather. That said, the absolute showstopper was the whiskey cake, easily the highlight of the meal and 100% worth it. Overall, great vibe and an amazing dessert, but the food prices felt a little high for what you get.

I had a really great time at Whiskey Cake! The service was great! Our waitress, Alexis, had an upbeat attitude and didn't check in, when we were in the middle of eating a huge bite, which I really appreciated. The food was really good. I especially enjoyed the Wood Grilled Salmon, fries, and Fish N' Chips. The menu didn't feature any experimental or new dishes, just staples, which originally, I was disappointed about. The classic dishes (American burger), however, were done very well and elevated by Whiskey Cake. The ambience felt very cozy, you can tell there was a lot of effort put into the design. Very spacious, many seating lounges, and a central theme throughout all the decorations, showed the care that was put into the restaurant. I went with my mom during on a Friday evening during Happy Hour, we noticed it wasn't jampacked and still relatively calm. Perfect for a lunch date. I do have to say it was so cold in there! So, if you're like me and like to be warm, definitely bring a sweater. Other than that, there are no down sides. Food was good, service was great, vibes were there! Would definitely come back! Can't wait to try the Brunch Menu next!

We had dinner at whiskey cake-stafford for Valentine’s day. As expected, the place was busy so I managed to make a reservation via Open Table. Despite having a reservation, we had a 18 minute wait time to be seated (thus the 4-star rating). We sat down in the cozy leather couch and were offered drinks while we waited for our table. We ordered an old fashion and a seasonal drink (I can’t recall the name) and both were tasty! Once seated our server introduced himself right away and quickly took our order. We ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer which came out rather fast. We ordered the wood grilled salmon and Farmhouse rotisserie chicken. Our food took about 40 minutes to come out (our server explained that the kitchen was backed up and checked on us during the wait). We sipped on our drinks and patiently waited for our food. The food came out hot and everything tasted delicious. Had it not been for the longer wait times, this would have been a five star review. Nonetheless, we recommend WC and will be returning.

Ordered the salmon to-go from Whiskey Cake in Stafford, TX, and while the salmon itself was cooked well and nicely seasoned, the overall presentation was pretty disappointing compared to the menu description. The dish was advertised with smoked oyster mushrooms and charred leeks, but what I received looked thrown together — sparse mushrooms, unevenly cooked potatoes, and leeks that didn’t really come across as “charred” or intentional. For a restaurant known for elevated comfort food, this felt more like an afterthought than a thoughtfully plated dish. I understand to-go orders don’t always look perfect, but this didn’t match the description or the standard I’ve come to expect from Whiskey Cake. Flavor-wise it was fine, but presentation matters, especially at this price point. Hoping this was just an off night.
