Tip: Visit on Tuesdays for the 3 taco + medium drink deal for $8.99.
This place is the bomb! It's reasonably priced food is very good and that is what I am all about. I'll be trying one of there burritos next time I'm there. Enjoy.
The food here for me has always been excellent. The service is equally as pleasant, and even portrayed through the newer staff. This is easily a place to frequent.
My go to place for a big and delicious Carne Asada burritos. Get it with everything on it. They are all meat, but if you like with beans and rice I'm sure it will not be a problem. Order with the free Chili Guero (yellow peppers). The staff is friendly and attentive. I've ordered other stuff on the menu and never been disappointed.
Still good food, but everything is so much more expensive now. :( I still remember when I paid $3.50 for a burrito. Am I that old? Now it's $12.50. that's over 250% inflation while the rest of the economy has only inflated about 80% in that same time frame. Major sadness!
Great food!! Really nice wait staff. Try the wonderful salads only 6 bucks!. And chips n cheese for snacking. If you eat inside ask nicely to the ladies and you might get a free refill ;)
I chose a combo #2 plate which has two hardshell shredded beef tacos with rice and beans on the side. These are some of the best tacos around! Every item I have tried is authentic good tasting food!
Great place for a casual, quick Mexican food trip. Nothing amazing as far as the food goes. They make the food to order so that's a plus. Lots of different Mexican food options. Salsa bar inside. Drive thru can be busy/slow, so pack your patience.
I want to thank everyone who works at Sabrosada. Because the food is good and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The drive though is faster now that no one is eating inside. Take out only, drive through only.
This place never disappoints. The food is always spectacular!
This place is off the hook good. I love their pollo asado burritos and their carnitas is really good. Also if you are vegetarian their cheese quesadilla is to die for. Definitely would recommend for fast Mexican food lots of seating, the only thing that would make this place better would be beer
Love the food here! I’ve tried their burritos, tacos, carne asada fries, and churros and they are all amazing! The line is usually pretty long but I can’t give them a bad rating for that since it means it’s well liked and food is made fresh.
went there tonight (Sat night). Every time I eat here the quality and flavors are consistent. Good Mexican food, and the service good. Super nice people there when I've been there.
My favorite is the rolled tacos. I don't go as often as I would like because I can't eat spicy foods. Hurray!!! They now have a guacamole that is not spicy!!! I used to buy the rolled tacos. take them home and make my own guacamole and now I don't have to!!! Thank you Sabrosada!!!!
We eat here every week. Their sopes are fantastic. And the tortas? 🤤 service is always friendly and fast.
We did the drive through so don't know about the atmosphere. The chicken burrito was delicious and big.
Let's start by saying that this place rocks! I order some tacos and they were delicious--- the portions are generous----and love the fact that they have a wide variety of salsas. I highly recommend it. One more thing: they feature a shrimp Burrito on their menu, which I bet you, it's going to be the best burrito you've ever had!
I have never been so shocked by the price and quality of Mexican food. I tried the steak nachos and they we're incredible. Tried the trees leeches dessert and it was not may favorite, it seemed bland. If I lived in the area, I would get their tacos all the time!
This was my first time coming here and when I was pulling up to meet my friend I thought to myself, this place must be as good as my friend said, due to the fact that the parking lot was full, the place was packed and the drive through window was about 10 cars deep. Well, it was that good. We shared a grilled chicken burrito and after I bit into that thing I was hooked! Its by far but your typical burrito full of beans, this was chicken and I'm guessing a mixture of tomato, onions, cilantro and guacamole...fricken delicious!! 😋😋 I'll definitely make the drive for this place when craving Mexican food.
Manuel has great customer service and took his time to explain the menu. The food is delicious and I highly recommend coming here. Friendly staff, great food, prices is good too.
I work 5 mins from this place. My coworker has been eating here for dinner at least once a week and has been raving about the Mexican food. As our daily lunch ritual of deciding where to go we decided Sabrosada good lunch pronouncing that with my Asian tongue. This place smelled ghetto there’s a glade plug in next to the salsa bar and the people who eat here are questionable (see images). Forget all that and order the carnitas plate. The meat was cooked to perfection, nice and moist inside, the meat was pan fried outside crispy and brown. Served with rice bean guacamole salsa. This was a 10$ meal well worth the price.
Great food and pretty girls what more do u want?
this place is like the n n out version but for Mexican food. it's sooooo delicious the drive thru is long but sooooo worth it. they never disappoint each time i been here. almost afraid of sharing this place bc then the line might be as long as Disneylands line. jk but seriously . if you're on the fence about trying this place. you are missing out.
The food here is great, they make it when you order it and the ingredients taste fresh. I would recommend the flautas or the carne asada fries. Sometimes this place does get busy and little patience is required but overall its a great place for lunch or if you just craving some Mexican delicacies.
The asada fries are awesome, and a full size order is pretty reasonably priced.
My husband and I love this place. It's been our go to for the last few years. Quality food at reasonable prices. The people are friendly too! They've come to recognize us and know our preferences. Dulce is especially friendly and knows us and anticipates what we want. She deserves a promotion and a raise! I can't recommend Sabrosada enough. 😊
Love this place! Been coming here for years....My favorite is #20 the Flautas combo plate (should have taken a pic 🤔)..The cashier's are always very nice.I highly recommend because the food is really good and the portion sizes are pretty big🎯.
I’m on a strict diet of no refined carbs (no rice, corn, flour, or oats), or sugar, so when my husband and wanted to go here, I didn’t have high hopes for diet friendly options. I saw that they had a shrimp bowl that came with rice. I can’t have rice, but I can have beans. So I ordered the shrimp bowl with lettuce instead of rice. OMG, this was one of the BEST bowls I’ve ever had! It was so good that I was sad I didn’t buy another one for dinner. The shrimp was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Everything was delicious together. Even my husband who’s Mexican and lives his tacos- was jealous when he saw my bowl. Highly recommend!
I went with the Carne Asada Nachos and I would definitely order Nachos from her if Im feeling Nacho time for sure. The downside is that the cheese or queso if not both well there was hardly any and so for that reason I would dock it but I dont want to give it 4 stars because the flavors are there but hopefully the people there can agree to increase the portion size so that the Nachos are Nachos and are not Carne Asada Fries and we all know Nachos come with hot cheesy liquid all over and today being my first visit it was all toppings and no trace of queso just tiny amounts of cheese shreds so. Please fix soon because I want to return next month.
I usually get the #2 combo (2 hard shell shredded beef tacos with beans & rice), but I like the Super Burrito and the Carne Asada Burrito. It can get a bit busy around dinner time on the drive through sometimes, but I tough it out since it's usually after I get out of work and don't feel like going inside.
This place used to be an Alertos if I remember correctly. This spot has alot of items on the menu, so you can return multiple times and try something new. I went with the california burrito with guac and sour cream. It was a hefty size and super delicious at that. Very generous with the amount of carne asada. The salsa bar has 4 types of salsa all were bomb!
I really love the food quality and portions here. The dishes are always made when ordered so the line can get long, especially the drive thru. However, I think the food is definitely worth the weight. The carne asada fries is huge with plenty of meat, guac, sour cream and refried beans. This place is great for fish tacos/burritos especially during lent. Everything tastes fresh!
The food here is always soooooo good when it's late, or if you're looking for a comfort grub. I always get their wet burrito here. They also have a drive thru lane, how awesome is that! Only thing is that it usually takes a bit of time since they have to cook the food
Like the same quality amazing flavors was slow inside why?? Prices going up they need to create deals or coupons.
The staff is friendly and takes the orders efficiently. Gives recommendations on what's good and popular selection for the day. And yes, the food is good! Time to hit the gym after eating ☺👍
I've been here a few times and their burritos and tacos are always good but I was craving for some chilaquiles this morning.. something I tried in mexico and have been craving for ever since. Their chilaquiles came out too soggy and sauced up. It also lacked a few ingredients of what I had before so I'm still looking for a good one in socal.
My favorite place to eat!! Carne asada burritos all day long!! I’ve lowered the rating even when you call ahead they put your order in after you arrive so what’s the point? Food is still good though.
Food had always been good here. Just crazy how the carna asada fries are +$14.00 now. Use to be under $10. I guess that's the world we live in now.😔
Stopped at this place while in the area. We were surprised by some really good food. The service lacks friendliness, considering it was our first time there and had plenty of questions. We tried the meat topped fries, a HUGE Al Pastor taco and a hard shell shredded-beef taco. Despite the unfriendly service, the food is worth it and we would go back if having the opportunity.
We went through the drive thru. We were behind two other cars and couldn't really see the menu until we got to it. Fast service, nice staff, pretty inexpensive. We got a combo late with chicken enchiladas and got a free drink on Thursday. My daughter said it was "okay" which may mean it was fabulous. She's a tween, we never know any more.
I love this place when I don't feel like cooking or it's been a long day and I want to get a quick bite to eat. The drive throughs are usually busy and takes me about 15 mins to finally get my food . Now, about the food, I only love the super nachos from here. I have tried the cali burrito, chorizo con huevo, and some other plates including the mini tacos.
The food wasn't anything special. Good, but not spectacular. The salsa is the exception to that. Very good. They earned 4 stars because the prices were better than reasonable for the portion size. The staff was also extremely attentive and friendly.
When lines are long, just leave lol! Sometimes idk what people are ordering and the staff should limit the amount via drive thru. Getting sheisty with their sauces.
Love the idea salsa in a pouch, Less contamination..is not sitting there in open air. And 2 mini..(Ninormal size to me.) Great deal.
The food is delicious! The reason I give it 4 stars is because of an incident I had one time where they didn't put my whole combo plate in the bag and when I got home, I noticed so I called and they said come back. When I did, the drive through line was super long so I called and asked if someone could possibly just run it out to my car in the parking lot because I didn't have a mask and this was right in the middle of the covid outbreak. They said ok so I told them the car I was in and where I parked. Well, I waited...and waited and then I called again because by this time I might as well of jumped in the drive through line and been gone. They finally brought my food out. It was cold and they didn't even bring something to make up for it, like some free chips or a coupon or anything. Just "here you go, sorry." But I have been back since then because there food is delicious!! I get the cheese enchilada combo plate (their sauce is killer!) my boyfriend loves the beef tacos and the rolled tacos with guac and my son gets the nachos 1/2 plate (which is huge)
The foods always great. I love the potato tacos. I'm vegetarian and these are a terrific way to still have a combo meal just without the meat! In fact the potato tacos are better than regular tacos!! The place is just sorta dingy and could use a deep clean and a coat of paint. If they did a remodel or a tiny upgrade to the decor I would give the 5 stars.
This place has good food, the seating is old and uncomfortable, staff are hit or miss, parking isnt great but u can find it. Tacos are big.
Grace and mutual respect go a long way. Let them know it was my first time. Reviewed the menu and saw regular burrito and Supreme burrito. I ordered a regular. After a few bites I realized it had avocado in it. Sadly, I’m allergic to avocados. I reviewed the menu and there was no mention of the avocado. I shared my allergy story and requested they make another for me. The cashier pushed a few buttons on the register and asked me to pay $14.75 for the replacement. I mentioned the absence of the avocado in the menu and again requested they remake it. The initial response was that they hadn’t made a mistake…which is absolutely true. I opted to forego the added expense and left the burrito at the register after stating I wouldn’t be eating it. I also shared I would add this story as a cautionary tale for those who follow to avoid repeating my mistake. I had arrived there with a friend who said they had great food there in the past and I felt disappointed I would be missing out and owned that it was my fault for not asking about what comes on the burrito. After about 5 minutes the cashier shared they had arranged for the burrito to be remade without charging me. I was grateful for the change of heart. The burrito was well made, the meat was nicely seasoned, and didn’t fall apart while eating it. I would definitely consider visiting again when I return to town. The atmosphere is 3 stars as the environment is mostly hard seating areas circa 1970’s style. I’m grateful to the team for hearing my problem and helping to find a win-win for all of us.
Solid OC Mexican chain spot. On Tuesdays there is a 3 taco + med drink for 8.99. We got the carnitas, cabeza, Al pastor and it was very good for the price! We also got carne asada fries, and they were good but the tacos were more flavorful! Has a drive thru that’s convenient, but expect to still wait about 10 min (3-4 cars ahead of us when we got there). Would come back for days you want easy drive thru food that’s solid!
Enchiladas are fire.! BOMmBB! But the burritos are not so good dry bland. But their customer services Superior just damn right outstanding. ¡Gracias!!
It's ok. I like, every so often, to try authentic looking Mexican restaurants that I come across in my day to day activities. This one was ok, needed a little cleaning, bathroom outside, outback, but again, food was just ok. Would I come back? Maybe.
Tacos were amazing lots of meat fresh ingredients good salsa selection I should have only got one there tacos are the size of other restaurants burritos LOL they only get a 3-star because the prices are kind of high in comparison and chairs are not very comfortable. And the dining area is very for lack of a better word but still worth the trip if you're hungry and dont mind spending an extra couple of bucks
I was there today and it was my first time being at this location, my experience was eehh ehh could've been better. The person whom was on the drive during the last minute before they had to closed for the night was not the best customer service given, he than said this " the kitchen is closed, you're my last one due to taking a long time at the drive thru speaker" he was the one who had me to wait for like twice or three times I don't remember. But anyways at the end after i received my order which was a wet burrito al pastor with green salsa. I immediately checked if it was what I ordered when I saw someone else order given to me. As soon as I got there to return which wasn't mine he said here it is Goodnight. He didn't even apologized. The food on the hand not as I was described at the speaker, didn't have beans nor rice. And the al pastor was too salty and the green salsa didn't taste right. Idk they need to step it up there game all I gotta say.
I will go through here if I'm craving some chicken flautas, I always ask for all the fixings on the side so my flautas don't get all mushy before I get home. Also enjoy the rolled tacos , you get three to an order and don't forget to get it with the guacamole, pretty tasty. And I sometimes get shredded beef fried tacos! So greasy but so tasty! They have a wide variety of items to choose from. I've only gone through the drive-thru, so I can't speak on how clean the inside restaurant is.
Be careful when you order chile relleno they put yellow cheese i could eat it and also beans been cook with larded. Also eggs they don't cook the onions and tomatoes that good
Food is great, service is... Well, it varies. Some cashiers are really nice --it's often the new workers or the young ones-- and yet, I'm always hesitant to come here, knowing well that there's a possibility I won't get good service. I ask myself, "do I want attitude today or do I want to feel welcomed?" Food is always fast and delicious, though, sometimes a bit too greasy. Overall, it's an okay place. With better service, this place would get 5 stars from me, but frankly, I don't appreciate the attitude my acquaintances and I have gotten here.
Our order came to $23. Delicious burrito and tostada. Asked for two curiously cups of ice water and was rudely told they no longer supply ice water. Which they have always done before. And our orders always cost at least $20. Deal breaker. Never again.
The food is good, but check your orders before leaving! This restaurant was recommended to us by some friends, so we decided to try it. I ordered a carnitas combo plate and an al pastor combo plate and when we got home we had a carnitas combo and a chile rellenos combo. We have been to the Anaheim location as well, and they also got our order wrong. They weren't bad, just not what I had ordered which was disappointing.
I had high hopes for this place, especially after some customers leaving the restaurant told me it was very good. We tried the chicken, al pastor, and carne asada mini tacos. The meat was dry and bland. Lacked flavor. Red and green salsas were bland and watery. They were very generous with the meat and the place was very busy.
Been coming here for years. I get there is inflation in everything but prices are up here like 30% in a couple months. I do not get how they can pass these prices off to consumers and expect robust business. Good luck keeping afloat charging restaurant prices for takeout, i think you will lose your clientelle.
Prices have increased so much. I usually get the chicken or Al pastor nachos.. This time I got a shrimp taco & it was packed out with rice 🤦🏻♀️ It was wrapped like a mini burrito.. The mini tacos are given to you on a plate covered with foil.. So not sure why it was wrapped like a burrito.. by the time got home it was just all soggy and messy..
I always come here whenever I’m craving Carne Asada Fries or other Mexican dishes and Sabrosada is always my go to. They have a huge menu to pick from and they’re open late nights too which is a huge plus. I’ve gotten multiple dishes from here like the Chicken Tacos, Flautas, and Burritos. Even though every thing I’ve had has been good I always go back to the Carne Asada Fries. Since I like the fries to stay crispy I usually get the sauces and condiments on the side. They have a salsa bar and they’re all delicious but my favorite is the red sauce. I’m also allergic to avocado so they catered to my allergy which I was appreciative of. Most of the time service is fast and friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends!
Food was ok. The salsa tasted bland and the lady who took our order was rude. Shredded beef tacos were decent but really had no flavor and a whole handful of lettuce.
They still have some items on their menu that they don't even serve
The drive thru wait time can be over 15 minutes sometimes. What sucks is you can't leave the line because of the way it's built, you're trapped in. Unlike drive thru restaurants, it should have a designated parking area for customers to park if their food takes longer to cook so that other cars behind them can get service.
Ordered chicken burrito and went down the road and noticed it was carne asada - very disappointing
Good food just the woman on the drive-thru she attitude is rude I asked for a salsa she told me to go inside to get it 🙃🤔🫤👎
Not a good experience in the drive thru but food was good. Person taking the order should verify all the items in the order before processing the payment.
Large portions at a moderate price. Normally tastes okay but the meat can be on the drier side, especially the Carna Asada. Also this particular location I advise checking your bags as we've not been given ordered items on several occassions.
If you really really hungry and you can’t find another place to eat come here. Cashier is really rude and the food is ok
Why does the drive through guy tell me it's $5 for a side of sauce and then the girl at the front tells me it's $3? I used to come here all the time but I don't know what happened to this place. Inconsistent and overpriced.
That was not Mexican food white wash Mexican 4 the price not even worth it why don't that stick 2 real Mexican food the carne Asada tacos meat looks like ground beef fish tacos wear bad thay don't tell u what is the difference between regular tacos and full tacos
I found the chorizo burrito to be lacking in flavor. Additionally, both the green and red salsa seemed to be watered down and packaged in SEALED plastic bags (like ketchup), which made me think they may have been stored for a long time. Beans and rice are ok but poorly portioned on the 2 quesadilla meal.
It's is 11:20 and they are setting up to close. They don't close at 12am. Sucks tbh. I get it it was like 10 mins before closing but 40? Yikes
Went to get some tacos on the way home two work. Ordered 3 regular tacos, but ordered 4 mini tacos instead since it counted as part of the Tuesday deal. But was charged the regular taco pricing instead of the mini. When I asked the cashier if it was the mini taco pricing since it seemed very high, he said yes. But while I was waiting, older staff members caught it and corrected it. And said they would give me a horchata that came with it. When I got my tacos and getting sauces at the bar, I never got my horchata. Even though I was at the sauce bar for awhile. I’m not sure if they forgot about it, but the young cashier looked absolutely clueless. I just left since I’ve already waited a long time already than necessary. They need to train their staff better. Never coming here again.
Third time at the drive thru where my order has come out incorrect. Really, it is very simple. Half nachos, no meat, no pico de gallo. Every time, get back home and my vegetarian daughter brings me a box with nachos covered in meat and pico de gallo. And yes, I've tried ordering it as chips, cheese, guacamole and beans and they always say, "Oh, so you want the nachos with no meat?" Seriously, I give up.
Will not be coming back to this place. I only ordered two chicken enchiladas. My food was not hot at all. It was pretty close to room temperature. Had it been hot, it may have tasted better. I would not recommend this place to family or friends.
Hands down the worst Mexican food I have ever tried. Ironically, anything but fresh. Asked if they had salsa, and the dude gave me pico de gallo, probably cause he thought I wouldn’t know the difference. The chips were fossilized, I didn’t carbon-date but I’m guessing Eocene maybe.
You better be ready to take a bite out of your food before you leave that drive through line, cuz if you get home with an order that’s incorrect, that’s on you? Ordered a burrito with shrimp instead of carne asada, lady taking the order said that it will be an extra 4 dollars for this. We said ok, whopping 18+ dollars for a burrito we’re used to paying 14 dollars on? Sure, maybe they changed their pricing. We’re hungry, we’re tired, we’ve ordered this same thing plenty of times before and won’t question inflation. Getting home, taking a bite of this overpriced burrito- all carne asada, zero shrimp in sight. Called the restaurant to get a refund, store manager insists that we have to go back to the store TONIGHT with the receipt AND the burrito to get our money back. I explained we drove out of our way to go there, there’s no way we’ll be able to make it back tonight, let alone next week. They insisted we had to at least go back to the store later on physically to get money or even credit for this bullshit. Getting punished for their mistake? Fun. Then to find out, oh! it’s not supposed to be 4 dollars extra for this burrito, switching from carne asada to shrimp should be exact same price of $14, I guess the drive through charged us extra for 2 meats? Even though I have very clearly ordered this as a Burrito NO CARNE ASADA, REPLACE WITH SHRIMP. People make mistakes sure, but your solution is to expect your customers to go out of their way to rectify YOUR mistake? That’s unfortunate and unethical. Would not recommend, very unhelpful.
This is by far the worst Mexican restaurant I visited in the USA. Ordered Beef fajita. It was made of deeply fried beef cut in very tiny pieces. Very low quality beef. Beans I guess were not made fresh. The waitress did not appear on-time and had a hard time speaking English. The location and design of the restaurant was not good. Avoid this restaurant.
I haven't done one of these in a while. So here it goes. This place is nasty. I may call the health department on this one. Whenever I order drinks from these places I always get Sprite or 7Up with no ice. I do this because the drink is clear and I can see crud from the ice machine. Well guess what? Yup! the drink had crud in it. You can't tell it's there on cola drinks because they're dark. I ordered a burrito and it was pretty big. I was looking forward to forgetting about the drink, but, after the first bite and a mouth full of sour cream and nasty government cheese, and then another, and another? I was like, where's the beef? And why was the tortilla cold? At this point I almost barfed. I've had bad food once in a while, but this by far, has been the worst I've had so far. I'm not going back. And I don't recommend it to my enemies. I will however be contacting public health to check on that ice machine. Yuck! 🤮🤢
I can't believe that I am writing this review about this place after so many years of coming here. The service and food used to be good, but not anymore. I'd placed an order over the phone for some Carne Asada Fries with no beans and extra crispy. I was told that my order would be ready in 15 min and I got there on time. When I got home, my fries were all saggy and with beans. This is NOT the first time this has happened to me but will be my last.
Food was not good. No lovein the food.shrimp burrito was nasty.
WOW this place has gotten way too expensive! $25 for two chorizo and eggs burritos? Back when egg prices were high I could understand but now? They probably raised prices and never lowered then back down.
Worst chilaquiles I’ve ever had! And they took forever giving my my food. Will not be going back.
Make sure to check your food. Dont know if they use hair nets, but found 2 long hairs in the burrito. I dont exactly live around the corner. I now have to take the food back with the receipt so I can get my money back. Stupid policy. I had issues before with this place getting the order wrong but this know is just disgusting. Last time coming here.
The quality of this establishment has fallen off hard. The tortilla chips are consistently stale, the carne asada is always dry and tough, the burrito prices are nearly $15 a burrito, and the service has gotten bad as well. On multiple occasions have received the incorrect order. A recent time I replaced carne asada for shrimp, paid an extra $4 for the replacement, and when I got home, I found that they had given me carne asada anyways. I tried calling to get a refund or resolution but was told I just had to deal with it. I would no longer recommend this place to anybody.
$17.50 for a 2 enchiladas combo? I can get treated nicely at a fancy sit-down restaurant, get served fresh ice water, all you can eat chips and salsa, food on a fancy hot plate with silverware for less than this. The food and service would have been better. The woman at the window just said the price, took my card and slammed the window shut. Waited a long time for my food, the window opened again, the woman gave me my food, and slammed it again. I wanted to complain but couldn't even get a word out in time. Never coming back, felt robbed.
