Great diner super convenient right on hylan blvd. Been here as long as i can remember. Not sure if the music jukebox still works at the tables but i remember a time when they were all on and this place was packed after a night out. Many memories made in this place for many Staten Islanders.

We left another diner this morning because of the rude customer service and came here and we feel so happy with our decision. We were instantly greeted so nicely and felt welcomed. The atmosphere is so nice and has an old timey retro vibe. The service is quick, polite, and again very welcoming. Everything looks clean and photogenic! I couldn’t resist asking my husband to snap photos for me 😅 So happy we went with our gut and didn’t dine at the other place because we found this gem 💎

Nice big diner with lots of booths, tables and a large outdoor area. Extensive menu, lots to chose from. Seems that there are regulars, people are happy to return! The staff greets them by name and are glad to see them. We had the Cuban Panini and the Chicken Quesadilla. There is parking onsite, though the restaurant is on the second floor. An elevator makes it accessible.

Had a wonderful breakfast! They open at 7 am and the place was still quiet. It was a pleasant time, the waitress is attentive and fast. Food is good, we ordered pancakes and thick french toast!

The food was delicious and satisfying, especially the breakfast options—I highly recommend the pancakes and omelets. The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal or brunch with friends. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a hearty meal, and I can’t wait to return to explore more of the menu!

We used to eat here all the time. But recently we've noticed the prices going up and the servings getting smaller. Our favorite is the Cobb salad, but with our last visit, the salad barely filled the plate and cost $24.50! The waitress was impossible to get a hold of, left empty glasses unfilled, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Our bill came to $97 for 3 meals and coffee for brunch. Not sure how Google is saying it's $10-$20 per person! Disappointed as it used to be our go-to restaurant.

You come here for a meal but get terribly inflated prices for generic diner food and a nasty attitude from workers who think they're all that. I have never been so disappointed eating at a local restaurant, but what more can you expect from a place like this?

The service was horrendous and the lettuce and tomato they put on the plate looked so wilted and gross. Food was dropped and that was it never saw waiter again the bus boy was better than the waiter. He should have been the one who got the tip. After this experience, I think the hylan diner is going to be my next stop as opposed to this place. When I paid the bill I mentioned it. She paid no attention to me whatsoever horrible customer service. For $50 bill should have been a little bit more attentive. At least guided me a water or a soda. Like really. I had to ask bus boy

We went last night for my sister's birthday, and the food was atrocious. The lobster bisque tasted like baby food. The Ruben had a funny taste to it, the salad was gross. Mind you there were ten of us, and we each had a problem with our dinners. The food was not fresh at all. At this rate going to McDonald's would have been better. 400.00 down the drain. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Table of 2 adults, 1 child. Ordered basic menu items, nothing special or fancy. 2 tables came in after we ordered, 1 party of 2 and 1 party of 3. We were served our drinks and that's it! BOTH of the other tables were served their food BEFORE us, with similar items ordered! THEN they had the NERVE to charge us $11 for a child's coke, a raspberry iced tea and a ginger ale!!! Will NEVER go there again!! Don't advise others to if you want your "brunch time" food before dinnertime!!🤬 It was NOT busy at ALL, either!!
