Hosted my Daughter’s Baby Shower at Jody’s on October 20, 2024. Terence, Meghan and Mozie were wonderful to deal with. The staff were so friendly and attentive to my guest. The food and drinks were excellent.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess and asked if we would like to sit or have have drink at the bar while our party arrived…. Once seated our waitress Mozie came over took our drink orders and read us the specials.. When mozie came back with our drinks we had had a few questions and she answered all of them.. let’s just say Shrimp parmigiana will be my go to… 🍤 Thank you Jodys

I have no idea how Staten Island isn't known for the Cajun pork chops Jody's has...they are huge, juicy, moist and absolutely delicious. I was saying Mmmm after each bite to the point where I was annoying Myself!! Did I mention how amazing the green beans and calamari were....To Freakin' Die For!! The bar area is quaint, the dining area is big enough to feel intimate. Really felt like a comfortable place to be...even while a dart tournament was going on in the next room!! The Service/Staff was fast, kind and great to boot.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The restaurant had a cozy, comfortable feel to it, and I appreciated that it wasn't too loud or crowded. The bar area was also a nice touch, and I enjoyed watching sports on the TVs while we ate. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The menu had a good variety of options, and everything we ordered tasted great. I particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which were fresh and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this time-tested haunt to anyone looking for a good meal in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the bar area was a great touch.

KILLER Cheesesteak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms plus waffle fries like Usual! Def get the BBQ sauce to dip in, awesome. Best one on the Island for Sure! Everything else on the menu including the specials are all home cooked style and well worth trying. Get here if you haven't been here.

Wonderful food, beautiful area. Keep in mind, this is a bar. Do not expect quiet. There is a separate floor dining area, as well as options near the bar. Food is phenomenal, and I would greatly recommend going with family. Restrooms are accessible, and well-maintained, I've dined here many times and have never encountered any issues. However, there are only 2 1-stalled gendered patron restrooms, so a line may form during busy hours. Amazing service, however during busier hours, wait times can increase by 5-10 minutes for certain things, including water.

The food was very good, it was 5 of us and everyone was satisfied except one, We did not know the burgers come on English Muffins, my son was very unhappy with his burger, I think you should give your costumers the options to pick between regular burger buns or English muffin, I do recommend this place tho, Great workers & great food..

I stopped here for a quick bite with co-workers. They had a limited lunch menu on St. Patrick's Day. But, the chef was kind enough to make me something that wasn't on the menu that day. Fried Shrimp & Onion Rings ! I was pleased and I will return! My co-workers were were also pleased with their 1. Corn beef and cabbge & 2. Chicken Ceasar Salad !

Greeting- Yes Vibe- Homer Simpson's Irish Bar Parking- street MBR- 1/1/1 hot air dryer no paper towels Price- affordable Food Burger and fries $8. Can't beat the price. Blows away these new BS burger places like Bareburger, Burgerfi, 5 guys, smash burger etc. I mean $8 for a nice sized burger, fries, L,T,O. At these new fangled places a burger and fries is $15. This guy was bouncing and denied people that were YEARS over the age limit because he thought an ID was fake and not to mention we are three veterans that are 27, 26 and 26 (1 navy and 2 marines), an EMT who is 28, and denied a WOMAN that is a 24 year old school teacher. Apparently he’s been doing this for 30 years but obviously doesn’t know what he is doing. His behavior was absolutely disgusting and dismissive and I will never recommend this establishment to anyone ever again because of this.

I'm sorry the service was fine I ordered to go so ?? I recently ordered a couple of burgers absolutely the worst burger I ever has we couldn't even eat it had to feed it to my dog he was happy at least .. no blue cheese on my blue cheese burger not mediu.m like we ordered mine was medium raw and my buddies burger was burnt 44 bucks plus tip extremely dissatisfied and said I promise next time you come in again I promise you that you guys will be satisfied why do you think I'm gonna spend another 50 bucks in you're copy cat Duffy's burger that clearly is not Duffy's like 10 waffle fries in the whole order .. I don't know what happened to Jody's I ordered a steak last time and it was delicious. But I'm sorry for such a bad review but when you spend close to 50 dollars burger should be cooked the way you ordered... and way too much for 2 burgers 44 dollars ?? Really I'm not gonna risk losing another fifty bucks .. on the bright side my dog really enjoyed the bacon 🥓 from my buddy's burger ... sorry but step up you're game or don't try to copy Duffy's.. sorry not risking a re order ... would you ???
