Overall excellent experience with great quality meat which was perfectly cooked. Portuons are big and most dishes can serve 2 people. Service was great and super nice.

Nice place to eat dinner, staffs are friendly. Our hostess was very attentive, didn't have 2 wait 2 long for our food I ordered a grilled chicken Ceasar salad which was a nice portion, it was very good, the grilled chicken was very tender and seasoned properly , I ate the whole thing. Also the bread was really good, I'm guessing it's fresh baked . They take cash or credit. The raspberry iced tea is good too and my kids enjoyed their chicken plater meals. Nice relaxing place, would go again to try a different dish. Thanks for the free blooming onion, quite not what I expected, it tasted really good! Cheers!! My family and I were greeted very politely by the staff. We were immediately given a table with no wait. I ordered the strawberry kiwi lemonade and an outback burger with a side of fries. The burger was cooked perfectly to my liking and my family enjoyed their meals as well. Long story short great food and great service.

Steaks are well seasoned and cooked to order, with the ribeye and sirloin being excellent choices and of course the rack of ribs as well. The Bloomin Onion is a classic for a reason and a must order appetizer. The complimentary bread was warm and soft and delicious. ​The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the service was quick and friendly.

We dined at this location for the 1st time and had a great experience. From the moment we entered Jada the hostess greeted us with a big smile and plesant conversation. To jenna who was our server was also very sweet and very attentive and spot on with everything. The steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered it medium well. Nelly service is great and friendly. But the food the really disappointed for me I order the chicken barbie just only 5oz of chicken and no sauce come with it also no vegetables. My friend order the shrimp and steak pasta also tasteless, the beef he request is medium well but you guys make for him well done but you guys make him a another dish.

The service my party experienced here was absolutely amazing! We felt very taken care of throughout the entire night. Our server Adrianna was a delight and made us feel super comfortable, sharing with us all her recommendations and treating us like close friends. This a chain steakhouse. The meat is good, not great. The seasoning is what makes this food taste good, while in my olinion a great steak doesn't need seasoning... especislly salt. Outback gwts you more salt in one meal than you had all week. But its still tasty. The onion is a must have. Surprisingly they have great salads, burgers, and pasta dishes too. The steaks are all a little thin, but spiced as the menu says with whatever flavors you were looking for. Desserts are good too. I recently had the pork chops and walked away feeling like it was a good choice.

This restaurant is one of my favorites. I’ve always loved all of the outback’s. Their food is consistently fresh and you can tell that it is never old, and they always use the highest quality foods/ingredients. Today my family and i went there, but this time i have a lot of problems eating due to long Covid. Almost everything smells and tastes rotten. I ordered things differently from how they were on the menu. Lettuce with strawberries on the plate together, balsamic vinaigrette on the side. I usually like balsamic glaze but not vinaigrette because of the seasoning in it, but for some reason i was able to dip the lettuce in it and eat it. There was Some hard boiled egg chopped up tiny separately which i could eat. Some Parmesan cheese also superarte, along with Monterey Jack with cheddar i think also separate. I tasted little pieces of the bread with butter which was also pretty good. Very surprisingly i was able to eat some of my dads zucchini in pole bites as well as some of my son’s ribs in little bites. Usually i can’t eat any of that. I dk what happened tonight but i hope and pray that i will be able to eat again like a “normal” person. For dessert i had some strawberries with honey and black tea with some milk and sugar. Our waiter, Armend was exceptional. I had to sounds really crazy with my requests but he understood what i was going through. He was amazing and did everything perfectly, made no mistakes with any orders and he was very friendly. He came over plenty of times to make sure that everything was ok and to see If we wanted anything else. I highly recommend this waiter. Thanks so much for doing such a great job. Also the manager is very nice. I love how Outback always has a manager come to the table to make sure all was good, the restaurant is always very clean, i can’t find anything wrong with this establishment for as long as I’ve been going to any of their locations. I would give one hundred stars if i could. The last time that i went, Adriana was my server and she was also excellent. I notice that the people who work there seem to be great and on top of their game. She was very sweet and attentive. They definitely hire people who make the place a great atmosphere

I felt a little tedious asking for extra stuff on the side but she was so kind over the phone and went above and beyond. Plus the food was delicious. Haven't been here for a while but was very impressed with the food on this visit. Our appetizers of potato and French onion soups were excellent. The steaks were cooked to the perfect medium and medium-rare temperature as requested and delicious. Jonathan, our server, was friendly and attentive, asking if our food was ok and if we needed anything. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

This is my first time going to the outback steakhouse with a group from JCC. Sometimes I see commercials about this place, but I didn't know that there's one in Staten Island. When I went inside the place it looked very cabin like. Almost like a saloon in the old west. The atmosphere is calm and campy. There was a picturised Australian flag at the far end of the diner to my left at the entrance.🇭🇲 I sat down at one of their tables and I see all kinds of pictures of art on the wall. Some had kangaroos and koalas and wildlife.🏜️🌵🦘🐨 We looked at their menu with some pretty interesting choices. We had to wait for a whole hour because when we got there it opened at 11:00 a.m.🕚 I ordered their chicken sandwich with the side of fries for $14.99 and their drink which is a strawberry lemonade kiwi for $3.99. 🍔🍟🍷The Meal altogether is equal to $18.98 plus tip equals $19.98. The food was fresh and delicious and it was a little spicy. 🥵😋👍 We did have their damper bread while we wait for our food. It was also delicious. 😋 This place looks so cool and it's fall themed. I think I might want to go back to see and try other choices they have. 👍😋👌

Charlie, the manager, stopped by our table to see how everything was going, which really made us feel valued. You can tell he runs the place with care and takes pride in making sure guests are happy. This is s very consistent location that always seems to hit the mark. Service is almost always proficient, the food always maintains quality and the price is always somewhat reasonable. The signature cocktails are always on point. Most chain restaurants on Staten Island are awful, this is one of the exceptions.

Outback is a nice place to enjoy a delicious hot dinner with the family and friends. My only compliment is that food is taking too long to serve to the customers. In my case, it took 45 minutes for 3 plates on a Saturday night and 15 minutes to be seated. Hopefully, management will help to improve the customer service experience in the future.

My family with young kids had a nice monday lunch. There are lunch specials to try if you haven't been around. Outback here is an SI staple and survived where other restaurants did not. Staff was aweaome too.

My family and I eat at Outback (Staten Island Mall) maybe once per month. The service is typically good. The temperature is often cold, though. I almost always eat wearing my full coat, scarf, etc. During our recent visit, we ordered several appetizers and 4 main courses. The food came out quickly and was freshly made. My only complaint was the steak I ordered looked charred. I ordered med-well and it was definitely well done. Since we had eaten our appetizers, I was full by the time the steak came anyway, so I didn't press the issue. All in all, we had a good experience. Oh, it seems like the prices have increased as well.

I enjoyed eating here. Theres not much negative things to say about this place. The steak was excellent but it did have alot of fat in it.. they did have this interesting dessert though. It was on a boomerang with chocolate fondue and I must say I enjoyed the presentation but honestly... it was sweet as f@#%. I thought I was going to walk out there with diabetes. When it comes to steak and franchise, Outback Steakhouse is a convenient staple located near the Staten Island Mall. The place is slightly packed on a Saturday night, but with enough tables to accommodate every diner. When it comes to food, Outback Steakhouse has a good variety of meat, seafood, sides, and drinks. I have to say that they do make a delicious French Onion Soup. It’s easily overlooked on the menu as a premium side! The steaks are fantastic as always. I order the Melbourne Porterhouse Steak, and it’s cooked and seasoned to perfection. Very bold taste, and it goes well with the mashed potatoes. My parents order the Filet Mignon & Lobster Tail combo, and Ribeye Steak. They are pretty good although it was a tad bit undercooked for the Ribeye Steak. But overall, they love it! As for leftover takeout, I also order their Queensland Chicken & Shrimp Pasta. The shrimps are exceptionally well marinated and seasoned which I think is the main highlight of this dish. Overall, fantastic dinner meal, and I look forward to future dining!

They offer patio dining right now, which is cute. Our server was friendly and food was yummy. Service was a tad on the slower side but it was nice that they didn't ask us to give up the table when we were waiting for our extra order of food to go. (We gave it up anyway since there was a line of people😉)

Solid Outback experience on Staten Island! Started with the classic Bloomin' Onion (crispy and addictive), then got the Victoria's Filet Mignon (cooked perfectly medium-rare, juicy and flavorful) with loaded baked potato and grilled shrimp on the side. Portions are huge, food tasty and consistent. Service was friendly and attentive—server kept drinks full and checked in nicely. Atmosphere is your typical chain steakhouse: booths, Outback theme, a bit noisy when busy but fine for casual dinner. Good value for steak night—will return!

I was surprised how cheap the cocktails were, but a bit sweet for my taste. The cocktails presentations were also a good treat. We tried the ginger martín, the strawberry lemonade, and some cocktail made of peches... they all had a lot of sugar. Other than that, the food was very good. The steak were juice and the vegetales were flavorful. Highly recommended.

This was my first time going to outback. I have mixed feelings. My pasta was dry and had a lot of hard sticky pasta. But the chicken was very good. And so was the Shrimp. The blooming onion was burnt and not enjoyable. The French onion soup was very good. the steak cheese dip was very delicious but very little portion and the chips were overcooked too , very hard. BUT, that Brownie with the ice cream was the best ive ever had! Melts in your mouth. ALSO, EVERYTHIIING IS EXTREMELY SALTY!!!!! Would go back only for dessert.

Well, I must say I remembered why I don't frequent this location! This evening, the only thing I was wowed over was the bread.. I ordered a drink, and the orange slice garnish was stale and nearly petrified! When I say hard, there is no joke intended. I was chopping into it with the knife. Service was crappy. We weren't provided with straws nor napkins without having to ask for them. The drinks barely had a taste of liquor. We kept it simple as it was getting late and ordered a blooming burger (which was actually good. I wished that I ordered this instead of the chicken) and blooming chicken sandwich (very thin and no fried onions I wished I had a popeyes chicken sandwich at this point). Both sandwiches came with a children's serving of fries. Is there a potato shortage? Seriously, I left hungrier than on my arrival. The wait staff is meh. However, I still tipped him even though it was the worst service of 2024 thus far.

I’m a bit confused from today, to be honest. I went in with my father and tried to order the Aussie 3 course meal deal and our waitress didn’t ask for an appetizer, just the entre. So we ordered, and she asked for two sides, so we provided two sides, and then my dad asked for the salad as an appetizer. She told us we couldn’t get it if we got double sides, but she asked us for double sides and skipped an entire course of the three courses. We were confused, and I don’t think she fully explained herself in a way that was clear at all because she wasn’t addressing the appetizer part of the 3 course meal deal. Whatever, we didn’t get two sides but we got the appetizer of a salad. No big deal. Then we put in for the dessert to complete our 3 course meal deal and she only brought out one dessert, not two, even though we BOTH ordered. Really confusing today on why we didn’t both get dessert. By that point we already paid and she wasn’t coming around to check in on us. I don’t know, I don’t quite understand why we didn’t get three courses and why she only wanted to serve us an entire.

Outback is not the same anymore. The server was great , everything else sucked. Waited over an hour to be seated, had appetizers, just ok. Main course never came out..... The soda machine wasn't working, drinks was flat....we won't be back ...should've known when you look around and see empty seats and had to wait that long...also the plates and utensils were not clean had to send them back...like I said , may family and friends won't be back.

Very disappointing! Greasy onions, the waitress spilled a full glass of soda on my kids, who were soaked until I left. They apologized and gave me an onion as an excuse for next time, which I won't do again. The dessert plate smelled of eggs and was also stained with egg. The table where I was sitting smelled bad. Terrible experience. I won't be back.

Most delicious part of my meal was the wedge salad - honestly though it was surprisingly good with the blue cheese dressing and balsamic vinegar, I even liked the cherry tomatoes. Coconut shrimp was good, came with this almost spicy orange marmalade like sauce? Wasn't bad. Soup of the day was New England clam chowder that was exactly what was needed on this cold spring day. Cheesecake was alright and came with a decent amount of raspberry syrup. Bread for the table seemed hot and tasty but it honestly squished to nothing when you tried to cut it. It also took up a decent amount of the table, which was small for 2 people. Ordered a Shirley temple that was closer to cherry flavored 7up. Wasn't the right color, right flavor, and didn't come with a cherry. When I asked for one they gave me some weird broken black cherry instead of a maraschino, Mac & cheese was soggy and gross with a weird spicy after taste. I personally didn't really like the spices/sauce used on the grilled shrimp and while I was glad the shrimp wasn't overcooked, a few pieces were close to undercooked. Staff was quick and came pretty frequently, but they'd stop by so fast and be gone before you could really answer them. Bathroom stunk like it could use a good cleaning.

1. Order steak medium and was serve a bleeding steak, send back to the kitchen and feels like it was microwave. Plate came out hot. The BBQ ribs super dry. And Mashed potatoes tasteless. 2. Place was not crowded, had to send someone to hunt down my server after waiting over 15 min to order my meal is unacceptable. Waited and waited until i finished my meal and still nobody refilled my water. Had to stand up and take out glasses to the bar to get it refill. And The manager, saw it, did not do anything about but keep chatting with coworkers. 3. Nothing to say about atmosphere.

I was here with my family for dinner last night. Multiple empty tables need to be cleaned to accommodate the seating of people, but I see no one really cleaning them. We sat down for over 10+ minutes, and no server to check us. We finally put in our order and got our food served. But our drinks didn't come until the middle of our meal, after I rushed my server. Why did I check with my server earlier because I didn't get to see her until the middle of my meal. She disappeared after she took our order. When we were leaving, none of the staff said bye to us. I felt I wasn’t being cared for while being there. It was just a Tuesday night, yeah it was an Election Day night. The staff were so busy with it, I guess.

The nicest thing about our entire meal was that our server was kind and courteous because we were waiting for over an hour and a half everyone who came after us got their food and we were still waiting we received our appetizers after the hour and a half after the complaint upon receiving the appetizers One which was the Chili came with one single piece Of fat i was not even able to chew I had two drinks which is why I gave the two stars for the two drinks because they tasted Good and our server was kind however our food took forever to cook and even though we had been there longer other people were receiving their entire mails before we were even to receive our appetizers in this long weight my family and I became frustrated and we decided to take our food to go however once we arrived home after we left him to unpleasant experience we realized I was missing a dessert one of the three burgers we ordered came with a completely different side of just asparagus they had comped two 299 items however I don’t think that was sufficient considering not only was The restaurant experience bad but they didn’t even care enough to provide me with the proper order to ango home with seeing as how I had to leave because I was waiting there so long to eat and became upset I’ve never had a bad experience here before I’m not sure what’s going on or if they’re under no management but I will not be returning Unless it’s for drinks

The food was very disappointing — bland, overcooked, and definitely not worth the price. It felt like no care was put into the preparation at all. However, I will say the service was the only redeeming factor. Our server was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, good service can’t make up for bad food. I won’t be coming back.

Our server was given too many tables so this caused the service to be very slow. The food was very disappointing, it has definitely decreased in quality over time. The drinks were horrible. Full glasses of ice, watered down bar drinks, and no flavor. Maybe it was just a bad night for the restaurant, but it wasn't worth the $108 bill.

Ordered from them on Friday night they forgot to give the delivery driver the bag with the entrees. So we ended up getting a kids meal and an order of wings for $150. Called and complained got back $59 so I feel like a got scammed by them. I feel so violated

Terrible experience!! Went with my mom and my husband. I put our name on the waitlist a while before arriving and when we got there we were told 10 mins. No problem. Well after 25 mins we were still waiting and there were 2 other parties that came after us and didnt have their name down but was seated before us. So my husband asks and the hostess said she “paged” us, never happened. Nevertheless we get seated. The ONLY good parts to this experience was the bread, salad and our waiter Nick who was very sweet. After 25 mins our waiter Nick came and apologized for the wait. We ordered sodas, appetizer and entrees. My mom and I got 12oz prime rib medium, and after nearly an hour (we did get the app and salads before that) our entrees come out. First off it WAS NOT prime rib, second off it was BEYOND well done!! This piece of dried out meat had to be a ribeye or something. Barely ate it because it was so overcooked that it was a sin to eat this meat that well done. $28 per entree down the drain. No one came over to check on us and I cant stress enough how this location is SO POORLY managed and poorly ran. There were so many empty tables and barely any staff. I never complain but this truly was an experience worth making others aware of. Unacceptable by all means!!

I’m here every week with a group of friends The service tonight was horrendous I waited almost an hour for a burger . I wasn’t even hungry by the time my food came out . The bartender Jackie is awesome She was multitasking running around doing everyone else’s job . They didn’t have half the staff they usually have . What a disappointment ..

7/23 Update! I got food poisoning! Outback was the last meal I ate before I vomited 5 times and had many diarrhea the whole night and next day! I’m sure it’s from the Caesar salad because I kept burping the salad smells came out from my breath! And that’s the only thing my son and bf didn’t eat and they were fine(thank god). I had the worst food poisoning and I felt miserable!!! Awesome deal for $14.99 3 course meals. Great food. Good deal, very good service. It’s wonderful and no brainer for easy date night, especially we don’t know what to cook or what to eat. Always love their bread and butter, steak is always tasty. Will come back more often and hopefully the deal stays longer!

It was very disgusting experience. We have to wait almost 10 months to be seated but if you look around there was too many empty tables. The table they choose for us has ants!!! Yes yellow ants and the seat was broken. The steak we ordered came cold, I don’t know how? Pasta was very dry and the steak inside was hard like rock. They gave us credit for the pasta. But it was a very bad experience. Never go back.

My boyfriend and I were there last night. Service was terrible. It wasn't the waiters fault. The food took an hour for us to get. When we got our food my boyfriends steak was raw! My mashed potatoes were watery! We were told the kitchen was backed up but the restaurant was not crowded. This is the 2nd time this happened to.us. they need to hire more staff in that kitchen.

This thing is so raw it looks like came right out of the supermarket the chefs didn’t even cook it. Gross! Nasty! Eww! 🤢🤮! The bathroom is also so gross. I am never coming back here. The server was really slow and I’m being really honest. I couldn’t eat it I just ate like 1 small piece and instantly felt sick and wanted to vomit.

It was Sunday march 8th and I initially called and asked the person on the phone “what time the kitchen closed” and the young lady responded by saying 9:00pm. I said not a problem so I picked my wife and two children and got to the restaurant at exactly 8:42 pm when the host told me they close in 20 minutes and I reiterated that I called here and was told by her that someone was probably joking and told me McDonalds was still open? Really… I left and went somewhere else (not McDonalds) and spent $350 on my party. I’m glad I didn’t spend it here because this place is one of the most unprofessional places I’ve ever been to

I have been in service industry for over 20 years and never seen anything like this. Bus boys in no rush. Server giving excuse after excuse. It was a non stop waiting game for all. 25 min wait to be seated. I can handle that it’s a Saturday night so I understand that completely . We were served bread at beginning but had no silverware. We waited over 20 mins and after asking 3 different staff for silverware, it finally arrived. Then the wait to put our order in started. And the food wait forget it , the table next to us had been waiting a very long time and half their food came out wrong and cold to boot. I finally tapped out. I had my toddler with us and she was done. The manager was no where to be seen even though we asked for them. On the way out the server told me “she understood because she had another table that walked out as well”. To have a small child wait almost 2 hours, with an hour and 15 minutes of that to eat is unacceptable.

PLEASE BEWARE. The Service has gone down the drain, food was ordered today April 25th 2025 and supposed to be ready at 7.40 pm, since the take out section was deserted and no one was there until 7.55 pm, I had to go speak to this bearded bulky manager wearing a blue shirt about my order, this rude manager just looked at me and asked WHAT IS THE NAME, and when I gave my name he just turned around and walked off like nothing happened, in about another 5 minutes a waitress comes along asks me for the order name and I show her the order and she couldn't even read the name. I then had to let her know the name, after which she went inside and brought the order. I told her that me and my wife waited from 7.40 pm for this order, but she just said " oh I don't know", we left this God forsaken place by saying that the service has gone down the drain. But this unpleasant experience wasn't over yet. The food was sooo bad, no flavor, no presentation. The lamb over rice from the halal truck looks better and tastier than this. Money spent in the worst possible way. This place use to be great, but the management. Customer service and food have turned toxic and very unpleasant. No wonder hy the place was half empty even today being a Friday. It does look like this place will go bankrupt soon. The Out Back Steak House in New jersey that we visited last year was one of the best, amd the same establishment in Lake Placid we visited for our anniversary was one of the best meals we ever had. Pleaee be highly cautious before you spend your hard earned money at this 3rd class slum.
