Fabulous little hidden gem!! Only knew about it from trying their catering- which was great! We had an AMAZING experience in the restaurant. Our server was kind and patient and knowledgeable (i think it was Jennifer?) we met the owners and the wife even danced with our 4 year old who was so excited to meet a gal with her same name. Anyhow, the food and service were amazing and the experience took it over the top! Dessert compliments of the owner was so decadent, glad we got to try so we know what to order next time!

Jacob was our server today, and despite being overwhelming busy was still able to host our table as if there was no one else there. We never ran out of drinks, he was often checking on us! The buffet is worth it, you gef to try sifferent kidns of pasta, and we went on Friday so it was seafood-salad. Yum! The chocolate ravioli was the best dessert I've had at a restaurant. Down in Stockton with mt pal Morey Isbetter and his gal Ava Cotto, just bangin around trying real hard not to break anything, until dinnertime that is.. Because we're going to Angelina's Spaghetti House, the best Italian restaurant in the central valley. We had to bring a Coop Hipster to his ex wife Nawbetty because her hens are really depressed about this and that and the other guy..Well, Harrold, her Rooster came down with Chicken Pox and had to be put down. It was Mr. Feeney at the Road Island Red Society up in Pixlie that recommended the Coop Hipster, that's a Rooster that is so cool that all the hens just coo after him, and all he does is hang out at the water faucet looking cool all day long. Man-O-Man I'll tell you..that Angelina's Spaghetti House sure put out an Amazing dinner, every bit a 5 star experience! ☆☆☆☆☆

My wife and I don't live in Stockton anymore, but we make sure to stop by every time we can while we are in the area. There is something about their bolognese sauce that I have tried so hard to replicate at home but just can't. It's not super cheap, but they give you good solid portion size, we usually get two meals per entree. Their salad bar is also excellent. Don't let the area scare you away, it's not the best area of Stockton but I have never once felt unsafe there. They used to have a security guy out front, but I haven't seen him in quite a while and honestly I don't think they needed it

We had an awesome dinner here tonight. My husband had chicken marsala and I had the Chef's Special of tri tip and Mediterranean Chicken, both with wonderful pastas on the side. Such a nice fresh salad bar too. Our server was Marla .. so personable and we enjoyed her a lot. We will be coming here whenever passing through Stockton.

Angelinas Spaghetti House was one of the most unique and authentic Italian restaurant. This is a restaurant you can take your significant other or a small group of family. My boyfriend and I came here on our anniversary date. The server, Madeline, she was very friendly and helpful. She has excellent customer service! I ordered a half lasagna, which comes with a soup or house salad. I had a soup, and it was in a medium sized deep crockery plate. The soup was super delicious! The lasagna is layered with cheddar cheese, a bit of feta cheese, and ground beef. It was well seasoned. There are salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese available on the side for self taste. Let’s not forget the garlic bread!!! The garlic bread was my most favorite of all! It comes nicely warm and covered in a linen when served. Overall, I had a great experience. I’ll have to come back and visit again. ;)

We had my hubby’s birthday here on 7.26.25. Our party went from 6 to 14 in a matter of hours and Mike was extremely accommodating. We had to push our reservation out a bit, understandably, but it gave us time to sit in the bar area and enjoy adult beverages with our entire party. Theresa was FABULOUS at serving all of us, patient, kind, generous and so friendly. She made our night by setting up our dessert table and even provided candles we forgot. I am not sure what has changed in the last few years, but this gem of a place remains stellar and authentic for food, atmosphere and service! Thank YOU all for making it a very special night for an amazing human being!!

I ordered the Special of the day, and my choice was Grilled Salmon with Pesto Spaghetti, Grilled Veggies (which were delish'), and Salad Bar. Everything tasted excellent. However, my plate of food did not seem hot enough. But still delicious, every bite. I must apologize in advance to Angelina's Spaghetti House because one of your napkins accidently made it home with me. We've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and were able to make it tonight with our daughter and her fiancee. We got there a little after 5pm on a Saturday and were immediately seated. I took advantage of the Saturday free antipasto bar which I enjoyed instead of the salad bar. The serving sizes of normal dinners are large, but I got the sausage & spaghetti special which was a little smaller which worked for me. The normal dinners come with the salad bar or soup, our group and covered both with each enjoying their selection. Everyone enjoyed a different entree and brought their remaining portion home. We ended up getting an order of the chocolate ravioli and the Dolce (pound cake) for later. The Chocolate Ravioli were small, but the serving included enough for 3 Ravioli each for the four of us and tasted great. The Dolce was also good and most of it saved for morning coffee. The prices were reasonable. The waiter was very patient and attentive (but not over the top). The offer a few beers on tap and wine along with most other mixed drinks as they have a full bar in the establishment. There were other families with young children who seemed to be having good time. The place wasn't noisy which was nice for our dinner. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. There is plenty of parking in the lot. It's more on the famiIy orientation end of the spectrum opposite end formal. I look forward to going back soon.

I went with a large group and brought my toddler who wears a bib and is potty training. In terms of food, the meat sauce is to die for and the portions are enormous! We found out that the meat sauce is sold at grocery stores around Stockton, so definitely pick up a jar and see for yourself. The hot garlic bread is delicious and our server kept them coming. 3 members of our party ordered Pepsis and rather than constantly asking us if we wanted them refilled, she brought over a pitcher. When my son finished his meal, our server washed our bib completely unprompted from us. The bathrooms are single stall, which kinda stinks IMO, but when an employee saw my son and I waiting outside the main restroom for awhile, she informed us of the less visible restrooms by the bar. It was very clean and spacious. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and they brought over free dessert - vanilla ice cream and mini cannolis. No complaints at all. Highly recommend!

Had a large lunch order (3 Family Specials) I placed online to pick up for a church luncheon. Unbeknownst to me, the online order did not go through. However, the man and woman staff at the host desk took excellent care of me; they took my order and got me out the door in a very timely manner so I was not late delivering to the church. Ordered the ravioli, spaghetti and meat sauce and tortellini with pesto. Food was great (as always). Very blessed by the professional and kind staff who took great care of me, assured me that I would not be double charged (for the online order that didn't go through). Highly recommend for great food, made homestyle, and even when you're in a hurry.

A true family favorite. My family has been going to this establishment for years. I was told they have new owners, but the food is still very impressive if that is the case. Atmosphere: Big restaurant, good bar area. Atmosphere is lively, casual, and loud enough to converse freely. Service: Great service as always. Staff is friendly, punctual, and happy to serve customers. Food: Great menu that I've had the pleasure of trying many dishes from. On weekdays during lunch, they have an awesome salad and pasta bar featuring their delicious ravioli and spaghetti with meat sauce. I highly suggest this if you plan to go for lunch. On sunday, they have a chef special, which includes chicken breast, tri tip, grilled veggies, salad or soup, AND your choice of side. I suggest the ravioli. Everything was delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the sauce they served with it, though. It didn't match the rest of the flavors, but it wasn't bad either. The menu is huge and full of any combination of pastas and other items you could ever want. Most italian restaurants give you some form of bread. Angelinas gives customers garlic bread, yum! If you go for your birthday they will sing and bring you a complimentary dessert. You can tell that they appreciate their customers. My favorite is the pasta / salad bar because I love their meat sauce and can have bith ravioli and lasagna. I was surprised that I liked the tri tip more than the roast beef, but that could be a personal preference. The roast beef was more tough, and the tri tip had a good flavor profile. If you get the calamari plate, they make a delicious calamari steak, and you can still get a side of ravioli. Did I meantion I like the ravioli? Parking: large lot and handicap accessible. First time trying Angelina's on recommendation from my grandmother-in-law. Went with a party of five around 3:30 in the afternoon and was seated quickly. The interior is nice with big open booth seating that was partitioned off to make a nice private dining experience. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and meat sauce as my pasta side, and I also chose the salad bar option. Our server was very nice and attentive, taking our order quickly and always on top of our drinks. The salad bar was well stocked and very clean. All the ingredients looked and tasted very fresh! One thing that stood out to me was the difference in their sauce bases, very different from the tomato based sauces I am used to at most Italian restaurants. It was different but I really enjoyed it! The Chicken Parmesan was perfectly cooked, crispy and juicy the way it should be!

Great service and one of the best French Dips i have ever had. The pasta sauce was unique, try a little before ordering a full plate.

A customer used the same plate to get refills and tapped the serving utensils on his plate. They replaced all serving utensils after I told one of the server. I think they should have replaced the foods too.

This place is a Stockton classic. I remember coming here with my family when I was a kid and I still come back once in a while when I want a good sit down meal. The bread and garlic butter they bring out before your food is worth the trip alone. I usually get the chicken parm or lasagna and both are always loaded and flavorful. The portions are big and it feels like a real dinner not just some quick bite. It’s one of those places you bring family or friends when you want something that feels a little nicer without being overpriced. Always has that old-school vibe and still one of my favorites.

We can proudly say that Angelina's is an Iconic spot of Stockton's gastronomy. These old-fashioned diners are now few and far between. Great values for the taste and quantity along with friendly staff. The raviolis are the stars here. Lasagna is next. The supporting cast options are not bad either, like the garlic bread! While discussing meals, I found out that a big mac deal costs as much as the full lasagna and ravioli!!! Obviously, the better deal is apparent.

Sorry to say that, for my taste, the food was pretty average - I had hoped for and was expecting much better. Portions were good size and priced acceptably, and the food was good, but nothing to write home about. My wife had the lunch buffet- a selection of various pastas with soup, salad, etc., and I had Fettuccine Alfredo with roast beef - all was “just okay” with the slices of beef being actually better. Don’t get me wrong - it was all good, just not to our taste, I guess. I think it was mainly the various sauces on the pastas that we didn’t think were as good as we had hoped they would be - they seem to be very ordinary with my wife saying it sort of tasted like old people food. Of course, we are old people, but still didn’t care for it that much.

Our families, both in Stockton and Modesto, have been going to Angelina's for years. Both for meals and Banquets. For our service this time for lunch we had a wonderful waitress, Amy. We will return because of her excellent job. What was a disappointment was, we arrived shortly after 2pm, both had drinks, and ordered pasta / salad buffet. There was no indication of an ending time of the buffet. We had our salad, and after was approached to be advised, the buffet will be broken down in 5min? So we got plates went scooped a spoonful of each of a few of the left over items. My wife ended up just taking what she had left home, to heat up and eat, because the heat on the buffet items was shut down prior to our 5min notice. Placing an order for a buffet meal, then having 5min access to the cold food, is not OK.

Got the Saturday special of spaghetti with italian sausage. It was okay - as far as I could tell, they used pureed tomatoes and browned them and used no basil, making for an interesting marinara. There was more sausage than spaghetti and they were pretty salty; cooked in a way I'd never seen before, too (filleted and...grilled?). The atmosphere is fine, straight out of the '70s/'80s with everything painted beige and off-white. I'm not sure if it's a managerial decision or not but all the staff I saw (about 12 or so) had black or very dark hair. That plus the all-black uniforms helped the aesthetic. My server was kicking ass, too. She was a pro.

Famous reputation, but so so food. Ravioli was lukewarm to cold, their famous garlic bread was cold and hard! The only thing decent was the fried Ravioli. It was my friend's first time, and she had zero comments about the food. Service was strange. Waitress came to take our order, but then left quickly without taking our order. My friend and I looked at each other like: What's wrong with her? Definitely NOT a place to come back to quickly.

The food and service wasn't so much the issue, almost every salad bowl was dirty at the salad bar. The top 3 bowls had crusty old dried food. Then I just grabbed the 4th one and sat down without saying anything. But then I grab the fork and it had what looked to be dried lettuce on it. I've worked in this type of industry for many years and those bowls and utensils have passed through at least 4 sets of hands before they are placed out for customers. There is no way that they all missed the dirty white bowls they were setting out nor the silverware. But that says a lot about how the restaurant is doing. That's enough for me not to go back and I've been going there with my family for years, even holding my engagement party there, as well as many other large gatherings. Every time I go back it seems to be worse than the last time. I was there this time with a family member and friend and they didn't want me to say anything because our server was very sweet and they see that as complaining or being a "Karen" or whatever. But there were so many other issues during this visit. None of those are important compared to the stuff I've listed. The booth was also dirty (which happens, I understand) but there was an oily substance where I sat that made a noticeable mark about 9" around on my white dress. It seemed to just soak it up. I think it was maybe salad dressing that wasn't completely cleaned up. I just hate how they've gone so downhill and things like this ruin the whole experience.

I went here on a saturday night 45 min. befor it closed and the blond women said can i help you and the way she said it was like me being there annoyed her. I wasn't sure what to expect from an institution....Maybe some old school charm, a bunch of Italians, music, candles on the table..Well it was nothing like that. The staff was friendly and helpful. I don't blame them for the food. But I did find it old that they give you warm garlic bread 15-20 minutes before the food. The salad bar was good, just wish they label the dressing spoons. That became a guessing game. I ordered the veal and ravioli. That was no veal I ever had. Talk about oily. Anyway I attached a picture. So much for presentation. I didn't eat it all and the sauce did separate.

Normally it's 5*. But the last two times I ordered a medium French Dip and piece of leather. Come on guys. Do better.

I’m not sure how much they are paying people to write 5 star reviews but this has to be the worst italian restaurant I have ever been to. Here’s a breakdown of my experience, I know the owner reads these and I want them to know I’m not hard to please I LOVE the great value frozen ravioli bags at Walmart I’m not super picky or anything but they HAVE to change something here. 1. 5 dollars for a soda is ridiculous 2. Despite my waitress being very friendly it took over 90 minutes all in all and I was alone. 3. I got the fried ravioli appetizer… they are tiny and puffy and the inside has the consistency of feta cheese but the color of beef. Even now I have no idea what the ravioli filling is. It was bland and the color was gross, so much so that I starting picking them apart just to realize these are not ravioli… it’s not pasta at all, its dough that they cut into ravioli shape and then deep fry. It’s almost like a mini pastry. Horribly disappointing. 4. I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo. The pasta was so gross it’s almost like an egg noodle which is fine but they need to specify because fettuccine was advertised. The sauce was okay, I picture like if Golden Corral made Alfredo sauce. 40 dollars, 90 minutes, Italian food shouldn’t be this hard. I’m sorry to the owner they seem like nice people when they respond but this place needs HELP as far as food quality.

Possibly the absolute worst Italian food restaurant of my 66 years of life, mind you I married into an Italian family. The meatballs went to our dog. Their sauce, which I expected like marinara, was like a brown con carne, which looked and tasted HORRIBLE! Only positive was the salad bar was excellent, especially the bleu cheese dressing. The bread in basket was barely warm. The servers were attentive.

We have passed the signs for years and finally visited. We were disappointed. The meatballs tasted as if they have been in the warmer since the night before and the seafood pasta was a bit disappointing. The seafood was not fresh. The salad bar is great and the waitress was great. Maybe it was an off night. I still recommend checking it out and please post your experience.

This was our first time and our last. The meatballs tasted like tap water. The spaghetti noodles were under cooked(still mildly crunchy) and watery. Having lived in Italy, the sauce was too beefy tasting and mushy. It was like they had taken some red sauce and a bunch of beef stock and their watery meatballs and mashed it all together. The best part was our server. She was awesome. Salad bar was just like any other. I had not eaten anything all day and was looking forward to a good meal. I started having a bad feeling in my stomach halfway through the meal and almost didn't make it home. I will let you imagine the rest. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Used to come here when I was younger this was my parents go to Italian restaurant. Hadn't been here for about 30 years. Came with my mom my son and my daughter-in-law. we were also going to take an order to go for my husband who could not make it to the restaurant. Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating (at first) My mom and daughter-in-law ordered soup (minestrone) and salad bar. Salad bar was fantastic soup had no flavor. My son ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken. There was barely any chicken with in all the pasta. I ordered veal marsala (my favorite) with ravioli. My entire plate came cold, I wasn't going to say anything but my mother and son call the waitress back and let her know. She said she was going to reheat it took my plate walked out of the room and immediately return with my plate asking if that was warm enough. When she came back with my plate she had an attitude, She did not even take it to the kitchen to have it heated up it was still stone cold, ask me if it was warm enough now and I just asked for a to go box. I figured I could just warm it up myself and eat with my husband when I took him his food. We sat for about 10 minutes and our waitress never came back we had to get up and ask for to-go boxes and ask for our to go order to be placed. The rest of the time we were there her attitude was horrible this reflected in her tip and my mother is a very generous tipper. I arrived back at our hotel to have dinner with my husband only to find my food looked like it was swimming in grease. I had ordered tri-tip for my husband and they gave us the worst fat portion of the tri-tip where there wasn't even enough meat on it. I am thoroughly disappointed in Angelina's restaurant and will never refer anyone there ever again and certainly will not be back.

Service was average no real issues there, but if I’m being honest this food was horrible, the meatballs were $5 but the size of golf balls and truly tasted like chef boyardee straight from a can, rarely do I leave reviews but this felt necessary because in total we paid $43 for food worse than Olive Garden…. Do not recommend.

Had dinner last night here and was way beyond disappointed. My ribeye I asked for medium rare and it was pretty much raw. The streak has no flavor whatsoever except meat. My wife had the chicken parmesan and the chicken was so over cooked it was hard and dry. The appetizer of fried raviolis should of been a sign as all it tasted like was grease. I ordered a full lasagna dinner and a half and half of alfredo and spaghetti and this is what was delivered! I havnt touched either dish yet! I normally have no complaints at angelinas, i dont know if it was grub hub side or angelinas but very dissapointed! My parents used to bring me here when I was younger, it was always a go to Italian restaurant. Haven't been back for about 30 years. What a disappointment! We were a party of 4 and we're having a to go order to take when we left. Waitress was attentative and friendly. I ordered veal marsala with raviolis and minestrone soup. Soup was very bland, we actually had 3 people get soup and all said the same. Entree came...all of my food was cold. My mom flagged down the waitress to tell her and she coped an attitude, took my plate walked out of the room literally walked back with my plate in less than a minute plopped it down and asked if it was good enough now. IT WASN'T EVEN WARMED UP! I didn't want to cause a scene so I decided to take it to go, in the mean time the waitress became non-existent and when we did ask for things took her sweet time to get them to us. My mom had reminded her of the order to go and she treated my mom in a condescending manner. This definitely reflected in her tip. Arrived back at our hotel where I went to give my husband his to go order which was tri-tip and to heat my meal up to a desired warmth. OMG, the tri-tip was nothing but fat, the most disgusting slices of meat you've ever seen and fetachini tasted spoiled. My veal was sitting in a pool of grease as well as my raviolis. Will NEVER EVER COME BACK TO ANGELINA'S, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

We ordered chicken Parm, ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs. I'm not sure what that sauce even was. It was brown, chunky and not good. The chicken Parm was soggy. The ravioli was over cooked and mushy. The meatballs on top of the spaghetti was not appetizing at all. I will give the salad bar kudos and the minestrone was good as well. Our first time there, $100 later and will not be back.

This place is stuck in the past. Salad bar is disgusting serving expired macaroni salad, brown wilted lettuce, unmarked dressings. The appetizer platter is revolting with frozen fish stick style calamari and microwaved mini ravioli served on a tacky piece of paper. I truly do not understand how this restaurant has good reviews. Looking around the booths were occupied by those of a much older age with expired taste buds for the expired food. Send in Chef Ramsey to this kitchen nightmare its horrible. *response to the owner* You stay in business because you have a barely alive clientele. Their taste buds disappeared three decades ago. Attached a photo of your tacky looking doily under your inedible food. The calamari was rancid and tasted like a frozen fish stick. Your ravioli was not fried and almost guaranteed to be microwaved. Your sausage is burnt to a color darker than cast iron. You should be ashamed serving a plate like this.

We waited about 20 minutes for a table but it's a Saturday and we didn't have a reservation. It's always worth the wait. We drive from Elk Grove. It's usually that good. We ordered and did the salad bar, and the garlic bread is always amazing. It took forever, and the waitress told us they mixed up the sauces on my husband's plate. No big deal. Well, she brought out our food. I posted the 3 pictures, and it looked amazing. Hubby had chicken parm, and I had lasagna. Mine was cold. Even the sauce they poor over the top! Stone Cold. We tell the waitress, and she says, "Well, I mean, I can't guarantee it would be any warmer. It was baked earlier. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? That's ridiculous. I don't think I'm going to sit there why you bake a fresh lasagna! I know its not baked on the spot. I have never in my 50 years had someone serve me cold lasagna. What happened is my plate sat there while they remade my husband's plate. It took so long to redo his, and she refilled our Pepsi twice. Ridiculous. She should have just had them redo both.
