Sombrero Taqueria

This place was introduced to me by my father, and holds a special part of my heart. We used to show up to this place to eat after any special event, and the food always brought the moment together. The atmosphere is nice, and the cooks are very friendly.

This taqueria is the best in town I visit from San Francisco to this restaurant in Stockton great customer service and food is 5 stars I recommend.

Great authentic Mexican food with a family atmosphere and wonderful people working. I often see families having full meals and crews on lunch here, easy spot for a beer with food and to catch some of the game. I prefer them over any drive thru mex and better than most trucks. Good meats, hearty soups, fire frijoles !!!

Love their food! Prices have went up, but still quality food. There is a selection of beer for those who sit and eat if that is your thing. They do have a kids menu as well if you bring your little ones there as well. You can also call your order in and pick up.

If I could give more stars for the food & service I would!! Food was very authentic! The birria was goat meat (as authentic as it comes) very delicious! Shrimp cocktail had so much shrimp!! & the Chilli rellano was stuffed nicely!! This is now my favorite spot! 10 out of 10 definately reccomend!! The gentlemen working was extremely friendly, & accomodating... friendly smiles.. friendly conversations, & an overall warm dine in feeling...💯💯

I ordered the carne asada fries - pretty good, but not enough meat to make it truly great (ratio) - it's still plenty of food, you won't leave hungry, but it's a small-ish serving of meat, which is hidden by all the sauce. The fries themselves were good though, hot and fresh, as was the dark red salsa. The pictured dish was about $15.50, kind of hard to say if I'll come back, but maybe. If you're nearby, it's worth trying I suppose.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a more flavorless taco in my entire life. The salsa is literal water and the meat has absolutely nothing on it, not even salt. Horrible.

So I went there yesterday for the morning buffet, every time I tried to scoop food on my plate it was really greasy and the costillas de puerco en chile verde was just like broth and the meat from all the food they had there was all coming apart. Overall the food was not good and had no flavor. They need to learn how to season their food more. Not worth coming back. Sorry.
