Le Borromeo Ristorante

Been there everyday for diner while staying at the hotel. As a Swiss-French, this was amazing food and service. The Chateaubriand was delicious. Well done!

Wir waren nur auf eine Kleinigkeit in der Hemingway - Bar. Begeisternder Service, ein tolles Ambiente und gar nicht so viel teurer als in einer "normalen" Bar. Und dabei super entspannt.

Very disappointing experience! Although the place was nice and personal was very gentle, the level of food was truly unacceptable. The broth in the meat soup with ravioli was said to have been made out of the ox tail… but instead we’ve got the broth of monosodium glutamate which usually lies on the shelf of a supermarket. The highest peak of disappointment came when for the second dish we’ve got a sterloin steak with a sauce, which was a 100% made out of the same broth cube!!! I couldn’t believe myself but it was true. The personal was gentle and they’ve made everything to compensate us this atrocious levels of kitchen. As for my opinion, when you pay at least 25€ per dish, you do not deserve to get a misbalanced and badly prepared dish… until this restaurant will change it’s approach to the cooking I will NEVER recommend it to anyone. P.s. around the front door of this hotel with restaurant there are rats that are freely passing by without any fear of a human. This says a lot and there is nothing to add
