Opinions de The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Studio City
Very clean inside. Wall outlets available. Staff was so nice. They're great. Just love the vibe here. Definitely will be back.
Coffee Bean is way better than Starbucks in my opinion. The Iced Vanilla Latte at Coffee Bean is delicious and they definitely have the best ice
Service is goid, drinks are nice. Now you need to ask for sweeteners and straws. They are not in the bibs counter anymore. I guess that saves them from people taking too much.
My favorite coffee bean in the valley. Staff is nice, quick, on point. Liz makes the best English Breakfast Latte!
Excellent service and preparation. Great place this the nearest to my bosses and I'm willing to make the drive for a good coffee
Clean location great service
Nice large comfortable place to relax... Coffee Bean parking can be a bit difficult due to me so many shops... Very friendly staff
This location has a friendly staff and it is close to home. I love the Midnight Mocha Cold Brew...so good on a hot summer day!
Thanks to Ms. Pamel Singh- for remembering my favorite single mocha origin --- I was surprise🤗 Awesome crew staff as well
Great coffee delicious lattes zillion calories to go with it but it’s so worth it🙏👍
Great location and easy free parking just behind the shop. There's great service, and the staff is friendly. The location is clean, and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options available. It is wheelchair accessable, and so is the bathroom, which is also large and clean.
Love this Coffee Bean! Such friendly employees who always make my drink perfectly.
Always a pleasure to visit, becoming a favorite spot. Love the staff
I'm a huge fan of coffee bean in general! This is a really nice place with very friendly baristas that know how to make great coffee! Usually I just get black coffee or an Americano, but sometimes I'll get the dark chocolate ice blended or the mocha and it's always made to perfection. This spot doesn't ever seem too busy and feels like a hidden secret. I'd recommend passing through if you're in the mood for a nice cold ice blended drink during this hot summer!
Love this CBTL. It's conveniently located in the heart of Studio City- along the LA River, LAFD 78, and Weddington Golf ⛳ & Tennis 🎾. It's the Cheers Bar of coffees and teas.
Friendly and helpful service, quality coffee and drinks and food items, great service!
One of my favorite Coffee Bean locations ever. Great service and friendly baristas.
Anthony was a sweet heart he made my day with his great excellent customer service
Came in for my usual Ice Blended Caramel, first time I come to this location. Was greated and helped by Anthony at the register, let me say he has amazing costumer service. Made my experience much more enjoyable, pleasant and memorable. Now on to the drink it self...now that was amazing Karis killed it! Keep up the great work guys you are an amazing team!
Parking was easy, customer service was prompt, professional, warm, friendly and welcoming. Staffed with class and elegance by Rudy and Anthony. Anthony brewed my Americano and it was perfect. Establishment was spotless, comfy and cozy. Zero complaints. I go to many Coffee Beans all over LA County. I’m going to try to start giving credit where credit is due, and this location is one of many coffee bean locations that doesn’t disappoint. 5 stars! DECEMBER 2025 REVIEW UPDATE: Yet ANOTHER 5 stars for this CBTL location. Why? - Always plenty of parking - always clean - always plenty of seating - calm and peaceful dining room - my Americano is always great So why am I writing a review for a visit to this CBTL location that happened over a month ago? Because I’m still thinking about how incredibly sweet and heartwarming the service and attention I get here from repeat offender ERICA. My last 5 star review for this location was 9 months ago, and it was almost all about ERICA. Such a sweetheart—GENUINE. THE REAL DEAL. HEART SO BIG CANT BE FAKED. And a month ago, by random chance, I walked back into this location, and had forgotten about Erica until I saw her again. And before I said a word about my preceding visit and 5-star review for her, she was already giving me ammo for yet another 5-star review. I wasn’t having the best day, but as Erica took my order, Erica made me smile big. She didn’t even recognize me (it had been months, and I’m only one of thousands that’s she’s served), but she was still just such a sweet and caring soul. A planet full of caring, kind and thoughtful people like Erica would be worth fighting for. CBTL has this thing about hiring the best people. They find the best people. I look forward to visiting this location again if I’m in the area the next time I need a refill during CBTL business hours. Thank you CBTL for setting such a high standard for great beverages made by really committed professionals equally committed to exceptional quality and service.
Still a regular customer here, ive enjoyed their service yet again! Breakfast chorizo burrito tastes fresh. Coffee 32. OZ for those long Mondays!

I don't get any food from Coffee Bean just latte & ice blend. I love this location it's so close too! But I don't like that the blonde cashier rubs her nose while touching everything. & That they all take personal cups with their bare hands & touch all of their barista equipment, milk cartons & so on. It's big cross contamination & I don't think they are conscious of that. They should take outside personal cups from customer with a handle cup so they limit the risk of contractable viruses.
While there are warm-up sandwiches & pastries, the principal reason that I go here is to get coffee beans (Viennese, ground & brewed at home). There are also very good coffee and tea based drinks on the menu. Parking at the Ventura & Whitsett Store can be a little busy…
Went to visit a long time friend for a coffee there who I hadn’t seen in years and the guy that took our order was friendly and fun. I appreciate good service I just wish I could remember his name to give him credit. The store was clean including the outdoor seating we stayed catching up for a couple hours and enjoyed the drinks and company
Personally, I think that the coffee here is better than Starbucks. Everything tastes pure (as opposed to SB's chemical taste). The hot chocolate tastes like a hug from a teddy bear. I have random ordered several times and never regretted a choice. The staff are very friendly as well.
They are really friendly, and the water way behind their shop is great for a walk with the coffee. Awesome vibes
I love the holiday hot teas perfect for the holiday season and especially when you're sick and you're cuddling in bed with your favorite doggy who is celebrating her 1 year old birthday
It’s just a great place to go and sit down and do some computer work or sit down and just relax. I’ll catch up with friends. Great social place to meet.
food is well priced and parking can be tough but they get you in and out as fast as possible
Very friendly staff, timely and correct orders, clean and welcoming environment

Did you have a big selection of coffees and Frappuccino‘s I always get the Malibu dream special and a hot day he’s pretty well pretty sure it has lotta calories and fat but what can you do it does taste great
Pretty nice bean store. Good amount of people behind the counter so even though the order screen was full, they got out all the drinks in a timely manner.
Pretty standard coffee shop on Ventura Blvd. Wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but if I was walking by and wanted a coffee not a bad place to go.
The prefect chain cafe coffee... far superior to Starbucks. Unlike aforementioned, this place has trained baristas who make your drink the same everytime.
As good as any coffee place. They are now adding more food options. Mostly outdoor seating with a small area indoors.
I used to love this chain, but I've come to the conclusion that I prefer the choices at Starbucks, not only for drinks but for variety of breakfast items, especially proteins. I understand that it's kosher, which may contribute that, particularly egg and cheese or meat items. That said, they're very pleasant and there are a lot of great bread and cake treats. I do wish they had choices of the blond coffees, as well.
This location happens to be my spot on the way to work in the mornings! The service is great, and the espresso drinks are usually well made! My second top pick out of the franchise coffee shops! Try the hazelnut americano or the the nitro brew my favorites!
I Love Coffee Bean. This location is perfect. CB Employees are Nice, Funny and Relateable - Not robotic. Seating is limited.Best spot @the Bar. The Only thing here is - It gets TOO FREAKING HOT. Simply ask CBE's to kindly Turn Up the AC...Done....Enjoy your CB Experience.

Been here the past few days; one of my favorite spots but wifi has been down lately. My only opportunity for this store it to refresh or restart the wifi connection periodically so everyone can get work done and lounge here to escape from the world a bit. Other than that, this is my favorite spot; plenty of parking too; staff is friendly and hard-working.
The customer service in store is excellent, they are out to make your experience great. The mess-ups and the not paying attention to requests on delivery orders is their only downfall. 4 star because delivery service is terrible, but instore service makes up for it.
I don’t know what changed but service has gotten better. They could have better sugar free options but I will never buy Starbucks in my life again so coffee needs to exists and I have always preferred it but this area has quite a bit of the other one i don’t like. there are smaller shops too but for what i was craving coffee delivered!

The flavor of a favorite fresh brewed roasted coffee lingers in the atmosphere when you walk into a shop and when one discovers not only the time but a place to sit. It can be magical.
This morning I had no choice but to go into Coffee Bean, because my normal shop was closed for filming. I enjoy drinking espresso, and I usually get an Americano because I like to taste the espresso in my drink. My beverage tasted like drip coffee. My wife’s London fog was made with some trashy vanilla powder. Poor quality ingredients, in-attentiveness, and a lack of knowledge results in a poor product.
Customer Service was excellent and efficient. The restroom is extremely GROSS 🤢 and looks like something out of a scary movie… the floors were filthy, the toilet paper container was ripped off the wall. The mirror and the sink were filthy, the walls were dirty, This was the most disgusting Coffee Bean Restroom I’ve ever seen in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same coffee. higher prices every 3 months, napkin shortage and caliber of service going down. The guys, very professional, a few girl staff members, petty repeated immature behavior. Never asking for exceptional service but basic and that seems challenging.

The cashier guy has no sense of urgency and lacks proper customer service skills. Forgot the items I ordered and asked me what I ordered after waiting for a good amount of time. Worst than Starbucks!
Don’t go to this store !! The staff is rude and unprofessional. When I took the time to complain to the general manger he literally said I don’t care there are too many other places to go to deal with this disrespect coffee is average and the service is terrible
They gave me the muffins was in the counter ! And the muffins was very dry and old

Used to be a fan of this brand. No more. NOTE: as is typical for brand stores, the “owner“ who most assuredly is not, is using patronizing responses, trying to recast facts as “my experience“. It was not a subjective “feeling” – but an objective truth. This store chose selfishness- while all 3 local Starbucks gladly & generously donated to this same fire station only yards from this CBTL. In fact, Starbucks continuously over the past week made java and pastries available for volunteers to donate. While (again) THIS STORE certifiably REFUSED to offer anything for donation. Let’s face it. There’s only a few things that separate out the coffee chains: Quality of the coffee, effectiveness / friendliness of the staff – or lack there of - and good management vs poor management. This particular store has been here for quite a while, and are housed literally across the alley from a fire station. During the devastation and heartbreak of the past two weeks of LA Fires, myself and a group of shelter volunteers, got it in our heads that, along with volunteering at the various shelters and donating what we could, one way we could support was to round up caffeine and treats for the local fire stations, and deliver them. This is literally on the border of Studio City, in Sherman Oaks, one city over from where there was an evacuation red flag warning for the better part of the week. So this station along with several others in the area have been incredibly busy, deployed to the Palisades fires, and also handling the day to day emergencies in this part of the valley. As the store is literally as I mentioned about 50 steps away from Station 78, it made perfect sense to call over and ask if I could do a coffee run – since I know the employees are not allowed to do so while on the clock. What I got was an astonishing, selfish, and heartbreaking response from the store manager: “well, I have to run it by corporate- Or actually, you should run it by corporate, we’re kind of busy here- here’s an email address.” ??!! Apparently, the sense of urgency of a devastating national disaster has not made its way to the quaint staff in this franchise store. I was flabbergasted. I explained that Starbucks has been donating to first responders since they started - And this not too bright manager responds, “well, if they wanted to come over and ask for a coffee, I’m sure we could give them one for free.” In other words, the fireman who are getting zero sleep need to walk over and get one cup at a time, rather than allowing volunteers to do what they’re offering: take care, and support our first responders. So I break out the crayons and say, “sir, do you understand the firemen are literally getting no sleep, to basically save and protect us, I’m just asking to take them over to them rather than them having to come over to you. I can leave my credit card number or even my credit card, and if I don’t come back with pictures and proof that I delivered to the fire station 50 paces away, you can charge my credit card.” The manager who clearly has no sense of self, or courage, says, “I’ll call my district manager and ask”. At this point I know it’s a dead deal, and of course the district manager for CBLT refuses to part with a drop of precious coffee without corporate say so- stating if I wish to donate, I need to purchase the drinks to donate. As mentioned, Starbucks managers were all too happy to gift carafes of coffee, pallets of pastries, even fancy merchandise to donate to a fire station nowhere near them. All three stores in the area were more than happy, and pictures were sent to all the store managers - -so everybody got to feel good and support the healing of LA. Everyone but selfish, greedy CBTL in Studio City that apparently is so desperate for cash they’re making volunteers purchase coffee to donate to fireman. Lost my business for good. Shame on you CBLT. A failure of the training of management, staff, and culture of your brand. Coffee costs little, but the kindness would’ve been priceless. Particularly at this time.
The efficiency beeds to be reviewed here. Very slow service. Took 15 minutes to make a simple iced coffee… definitely order ahead
