first time coming here. its off a very busy street. plenty of parking. i called to place an order 30 mins ahead of time and had to wait maybe 5 mins for it to be ready. wasnt busy at all. im eating my food which i got chicken cutlet on a flagel and its amazing! way better than bagel train. lady was nice at the counter. very clean place. will be back again to try more stuff on the menu!

Excellent bagels and sandwiches. Go there when I am in the neighborhood. Went there again today. Great bagels sandwich. Like this place a lot. Go there everyone i am in the area. Baker's dozen, 15 bagels. Same price. Great sandwiches too.

Exceptional bagels and one of the things I miss most about living in the area. The epitome of a NJ bagel: crispy, chewy inside, large and fluffy with barely a hole in the middle. Nothing outside the city can best these, and I've had ever bagel on the best of list from here to New Brunswick.

I drive an hour and 15 minutes out of my way for these bagels. I think that pretty much says it all. Staff is always amazing. Don’t sleep on the pastries- they are phenomenal. I stop in and buy in bulk for my sales accounts and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Forever my “go to” bagel place! The snickerdoodle coffee is my fav too!

My family and I regularly buy our bagels there. Bagel are very good, especially compared with the local options. Bagel dough is excellent, flavor and size are very good. Good deal on a dozen = You get 15 bagels for a price of 12. Definitely recommended, even for a quick dine-in snack (place is nice for a bagel store). Only issue to report was a recent 3.99% price hike for credit/ debit card users. See attached letter with header "Good News"posted at the bagel store. I don't see a reason credit/ debit card users should be penalized for shopping there. So much for good news....

Very good food.a little spicy. $15 for a big quesadilla (2 people can eat). Person was very nice. However, there is an extra charge for using a credit card.

Let me start off by saying my pork roll bacon egg and cheese bagel was very good. It’s pork roll, not Taylor ham. It was a little expensive, but it is New York. The wait in line and waiting for our food was a bit long…. Everybody was rushing around but it seemed very inefficient. A lot of people were waiting for food. They need a better system for the employees to work efficiently and serve the customer quicker. You’ll see when you go what I’m talking about. The woman at the cash register was not friendly and so 1/5 stars for service.

I recently visited this bagel café and was impressed by the quality of the bagels—absolutely delicious! The overall service was good, and most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, my experience was slightly dampened by one staff member. When I asked her to make my coffee a little darker, her response was curt, and she directed me to "go to the back." She didn't smile or seem approachable, which felt unwelcoming. Despite that, the rest of my visit was enjoyable, and the food tasted great. If not for that particular interaction, it would have been a perfect five-star experience, but I hope the staff works on improving their customer interactions.

I really like this place . The bakery has a great selection (love the muffins , bagels and raspberry stick) love the chicken and tuna salad , breakfast wraps and sandwiches. The snickerdoodle coffee is incredible! Today I ordered breakfast and a chicken Cobb salad for lunch . Before I continue, I want to let you know that I love salads so much I don’t even use dressing . So with that being said , those hard white pieces of lettuce in the middle of almost every romaine leaf (please see photo) , are bitter and not very tasty. Maybe with dressing you can’t tell but I can tell without ! I couldn’t eat this salad for lunch as planned, I had to wait to get home to cut all those pieces off! It was perfect after! I don’t expect any changes, so unfortunately I just won’t buy anymore salads from here.

Stopped in for bagel which are amazing fresh and delicious with cream cheese . My favorite is sesame bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese their freshly squeezed orange juice and chips for takeout. If you are after authentic Latin cuisine, this ain't it. This is food in the belly 1 stoplight off the interstate. Food isn't being prepped fresh, just rewarmed from the metal chaffing dish. That all being said, they had a clean interior with lunch counter style seating. Friendly staff and the food was ready fast. Prices felt high for what it was.

It has a very inviting fun looking facade but that about as far as it goes. The food prep is a takeoff of Chipotle with smaller serving, but the same pricing. I ordered a carnitas bowl and the first thing he did was add 4 scoops of rice and a sprinkle of black beans. Bad start. A little carnitas, even smaller amount of guacamole ( I added 2 extra sides of it and it was still not a full spoonful) a sprinkle of cheese, pico de gallo salsa, hot sauce and it was done. Home I broke out my favorite tortilla and made a mean burrito…. Unfortunately it was all very blah. $13 for blah? Uh, no.

Place used to be so good when I was in high school. Not sure what happened. Super expensive now too. And it’s frustrating having to constantly repeat my order to someone, when they can just write it down on a piece of paper like every other place does!

It was chipotle. Meat was dry and bland. No fresh Ingredients. Atmosphere was ok. Music way too loud. Food was just “okay” .. the worker was beyond creepy

We were looking for a local alternative to Chipotle, but unfortunately very disappointed with the meal. Portions for the burrito, chips, and queso were considerably smaller and blander than anticipated. There also seemed to be an issue with the cashier trying to upcharge on Guac when we did not request any, multiple times. Will not be back.

Not sure if it was the Salsa or the Guacamole, but something was extremely salt, which messed up the entire meal. I have only been the re once and plan on stopping by again to see if it was just a mistake.

Ordered through Door Dash. Got the wrong item. DD refunded my money but I don't like what came instead so it's going to waste. I only ordered a burrito bowl and a soda (which did get delivered.) This shouldn't happen with such a small order. Don't know if this was their error or the dasher error, so I'll give them another try another time.

**in response to your reply, I always thank your staff and tip whether the service is good or not bc I’ve worked the industry. But your claim of no change in pricing . that’s impossible. I go there a few times during certain seasons and I have never paid $80 for the food I ordered, which is always the same with a give or take on the amount of rolls or everything bagels we buy. I looked back in my rocket money account and the most I ever spent there for very similar orders was $50 in Sept ‘23. 80!! If you were that pricey when I was a 1st time customer, I would’ve never returned. Everyone needs to make money in this economy especially and I get that but what I ordered shouldn’t add up to almost $100! That’s ridiculous. 2 containers of a chicken salad equaling $40 of that 80. Im not the only one in your reviews saying the pricing has changed. Also reviews say ownership changed so maybe that’s it. When I got rung up pretty sure my jaw dropped. The economy has changed but that’s no reason to price gouge customers & locals. If you asked me 1-2 years ago, I would’ve given 5 stars all the way but prices have very dramatically increased here and only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because at least the quality hasn’t gone down. Recently spent a SHOCKING $80 here on a to go lunch order that just last spring/summer would’ve cost me 1/2 that at most.. -2 ½lb containers of chicken salad ($20 ea that I definitely recall being $12 and slowly increasing through this year) -2 apple juices 6 or 8oz -A couple rolls and 1 everything bagel, -2 soups that were around $15 ea if I recall. We LOVE their chicken cranberry almond salad which is usually what we go there for specifically in the summer to buy the same size containers and rolls to take camping and recall our normal to go being around $40 (still felt steep at the time for chicken salad & a few rolls) which is why this $80 bill stuck out so much. $20 each is just crazy. The food is always excellent and fresh but just not affordable anymore!

I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I have been a guacamole regular since they have opened. Within the last 2 years service has completely plummeted! Sadly the owner is the sweetest man you’ll ever meet but the 2 regular employees are HORRIBLE! This is the 3rd time I’ve received a raw protein and for it to be fish and chicken will kill someone! I may never go back.

THEY DO NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. When I called I specifically told him what I wanted and none of the stuff that I ordered came right. I told the guy on the phone to give me a lot of chips and I would pay for it. This is what I got 😨 I called the restaurant again and the guy hung up on me. Never going back again

Workers are very rude. They make a person feel like never coming back. I think they need better customer service for sure. I was very disappointed. I have been there a couple of times and its always the same horrible customer service. The rice was also cold.

4/27/25 5:15pm Walked in, placed an order to go, guy was super rude. Ordered $67.00 in food, guy forgot to put my kids cheese quesadilla in the bag, the question then becomes do I drive back? Nope. Food was made Chipotle style, no issues with that, but everything we ate was luke warm at best. I'm not normally one to post a negative review, maybe it was just the perfect storm. Guy was rude, food was cold, and they forgot to put my kids cheese quesadilla in the bag. Overall food was OK, take that with a grain of salt, again, I'm not happy with the overall experience and am maybe judging the food to harshly. My end all be all question with any dining experience is would I go back? In this instance, the answer is no. Jason H. Norment

Food was delicious. Service was absolutely absurd. Employee was annoyed when asked what was in the quesadilla. Asked because the order was placed online, where you can choose what you want inside (no corn due to allergy) he already added corn and pointed to the receipt as if the mistake was on us. He was annoyed having to make a new one and when asked to add guacamole he responded it was more money. Obviously guac is always more $. Food was delicious, just don’t be so rude when it comes to customer facing situations. Sucks because the place is cute and such a vibe.

I don't recommend this place, do yourself a favor and visit another place. I am Latina but the staff who serve on this site has no knowledge of what customer service is. The bagels are good but the stomach is affected by the lack of courtesy from the personal. Sorry Bagel Boy! Hire new people.

Can't believe how much this place has fallen since its new ownership. I paid about $18 for a bagel with cream cheese tomato and lox, and it came with a SINGLE slice of lox on it. I called to ask for a refund and they insisted that I drive back and bring the bagel. I hung up after they transferred me to the third person who simple said they didn't believe me.
