Food portions were big but incredible waitress was really nice all staff we encountered were incredible they spoke and asked questions to make our food the best for us and it was overall an incredible experience.
The experience here was great. Although there was a bit of a wait time, after our dining experience, I could understand why. The quality of the food was definitely worth the wait. The flavors were rich and authentic, particularly the asada burrito I ordered. The burrito was pretty big, packed with tender seasoned steak, rice, beans, and cheese. I added the jalapeno cream sauce as a mojado, and that elevated the flavors to another level. I forgot to mention that I did start with an order of chicken taquitos. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and it was not dried out. It came with guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream. I ordered a Cadillac margarita, and that was really good. No skimping on anything in that drink. I could not finish my burrito and ended up taking the rest home. For dessert, I order the Flan. It was so delicious. It was smooth and creamy in texture and flavor. It was one of the best flans I had. Definitely alot of other foods I wanted to try on the menu, so I'll definitely come back. The customer service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had all that we needed, and we really didn't have to ask for anything.
This place is awesome. If you like Mexican food, check it out. Staff is always super nice and food is delicious. Highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great for Groups and Generous Portions I went to La Cabaña on a Wednesday for lunch with a group of 10+ people, and overall it was a great experience. They had space for our group, but I’d definitely recommend making a reservation if you’re coming with a large party. Even though it was busy, the staff handled everything really well and were able to attend to us without any issues. Service was solid and we didn’t feel rushed. I ordered the combo plate with tacos dorados and a street taco, and the portions were very large and generous. Definitely filling and great value for lunch. Good food, good service, and a solid option if you’re dining with a group. I’d come back again.
I love this family style restaurant. The first time I visited about 6yrs ago, I was hooked. Exceptional customer service, delicious food, and spacious. The food is authentic and the recipes have been handed down generations and the portion sizes are incredible! It reminds me of the Mexican food I used to get when I lived in San Jose in the ‘80s.
La Cabana and Ramses & Blanca are close to my heart. Such down to earth, loving people who care about community… and make amazing food in huge portions! How can you go wrong? We have been supporting this business for over 25 years . we used to go when it truly was a shack on Main Street. Every time I go there is a wait list because the restaurant is so popular. My heart fills with pride every time I see how many people love this restaurant. The food is amazing, good home cooked recipes, traditional, Mexican food. I know we always just eat chips and salsa when we go to a Mexican restaurant, but you’ve got to get the verde bean dip!! you’ll want to lick the plate! We recently went for my sister-in-law’s birthday and these are the pictures that we took. I brought home my leftovers and had food for three days.!!! They have taco Tuesday happy hour, all kinds of price, discounts, and bundles. You can go to watch sports on the mini TVs they have around the restaurant.. you can sit in the bar for a more casual high top atmosphere or sit in the restaurant, or even outside on the patio. All kind of drinks and tequila!! We love la cabaña and support this family forever!!
This place is awesome. The staff is super friendly and the food is so good. The portions are hella big. I brought back Fajitas (The Mixtas) for my husband and he was already asking me when I wanted to go back 😁 Thank you La Cabaña for a great experience.
Wonderful food at great prices. Never tried anything I didn't completely enjoy and I try something different every time I go. It's a great place to go alone or with your friends or family. I've been there for brunch, lunch, and dinner. It's a bit loud, but that's because people are enjoying themselves. I recommend the burrito bowl, surf/turf burrito, chili relleno, the carnitas torta, jalapeño cream sauce, mango iced tea, and so on. The service is friendly and fast. Longest wait is for a table, but it's a popular place for a reason. Try it - you'll love it.
The food was delicious, the cucumber salad was definitely one of the best salads I've ever had, the waiters were friendly and served us quickly. We will definitely be back!
We had a great dinner. Pretty crowded on a Sat night, with about 15 min wait for table. We had Enchilada combo plate and quesadilla. Plus delicious well mixed house magruita.
Great spot, the food portions were great as well as prices. My dish was so delicious and will most definitely be back to try other menu options.

They have great food. The only thing is, when it's somebody's birthday, they go around and sing and that gets really loud but other than that, it's a fun, happy spot to have fun with and good food to fill the stomach
First time here, definitely going back even though we live 30 mins away. The service was excellent the portion size and price were perfect. My salad was tasty I had enough to take home and have dinner. Looking forward to trying the other dishes I was debating about but that mango chicken salad was top notch!
Out of the 15 States I have traveled to, this is by far the best Mexican Restaurant I have been to. Laura recommended the Tres Amigos and the three friends did not disappoint. Had to go back the next day to confirm these friends were not just having a good day. But as usual, I cleaned the plate.
I've been coming here for about 10 years. I live in Vallejo but there isn't a better mexican restaurant in the area (Vallejo, Benicia, American Canyon) so it's worth the drive to Suisun. A good indicator of how the food will be at a mexican restaurant is the quality of the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips are hot and fresh and the salsa is very good. I have enjoyed most everything on the menu. My favorite dish is the Las 3 Primas. I also enjoy the chile relleno. If I were to pick one menu item I would like to see improved, it would be the fajitas. Their fajitas are not flavorful enough for my taste. In my opinion, a fajita plate should be served on a sizzling platter and have lots of char on the meat. The only bar drink I have tried is their Michelada. It is a staple for me and the do a really good job with it. Sometimes I have a second but that doesn't leave enough room for the wonderful food. Speaking of room for food...you had better come hungry. The portions huge. I almost always take some home with me and have a second meal in the next day or two to come. It tastes just as good warmed up a second time. If you haven't given La Cabana a try, you are missing out. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about my next visit!

Had a good experience here with some co workers. The service and atmosphere were really good. The food was not very authentic. I enjoyed my plate, but when the best item on your plate is the chorizo beans, thats not ideal. However the portion size made it a good bang for your buck.
We went on an adventure and ended up here. When we got there it was packed. Lots of people waiting, and they told us wait would be 30 minutes. We decided to wait. Quickly tables started emptying and there were several tables open and clean but they were still not seating anyone and we had to keep waiting. This is the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was excellent, the portions were big. the service was great, and I'll definitely return. The best thing we had was the Elote Callejero- a must try if you go! Great Mexican food in downtown Suisun!
Great all-around experience for serious mexican cuisine diehards. Food selections are usually pretty good across the board. My wife and I love the Cadillac margaritas which come with mini Grand Marnier bottles that clip onto your glass - a first for me after 30 years of margarita drinking. 😆 Service is prompt and comes with a smile. Be warned though - it gets busy on the weekends so get there early or be prepared to wait since even the bar will fill up. That said, Fri/Sat nights usually make for the the best background dining experience so it's a trade off.
Would have gave this place a coveted 5 but waiters were spotty. Food was delicious and plentiful. Taste was flavorful and authentic. Everything was presented well, worth the wait in line. Inside, the furnishings and decor were awesome. Can't wait to come back. 2nd time yesterday and it was great, drinks were delicious and flavoring of the meats was on point.
I sat at the bar and had to wait close to 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. Several staff members were standing around talking or figuring out orders. I was a bit frustrated, but decided to wait it out. My tacos and the beans and rice were tasty, and my jalapeño margarita hit just right. The overall atmosphere is cool, and I will probably return knowing that service may not be attentive.
I’ve eaten at many places across Mexico, Los Angeles, and the U.S., and I’d rate this spot 3.7/5. Portions are large, but the food quality is just okay. It took 45 minutes to get our food due to two large parties, and while they apologized, the wait felt excessive. Our waitress was good, but other staff ignored us despite us trying to get their attention. I had the steak plate (decent, with beans and rice), though I had to ask for more tortillas. My wife’s shrimp plate was fine, and they replaced her spilled drink for free. Drinks like the michelada were enjoyable, and parking is free. It’s a good spot for drinks or groups, but the Mexican food itself is average. I might return in 4–6 months, but it’s nothing special. Total was $115.00 for 2 people. Gave $25.00 (just above 20 percent) tip.

The seafood platter a la Morisqueta has gone down in quality. It used to be served on a bigger plate and had more lemon flavor, and the seafood didn't taste so watery. The service was very good, but just because you've finished your meal doesn't mean you have to leave. That was my experience. Not to mention the bathroom. One toilet is NOT ENOUGH. Please, it's a good restaurant. Don't ruin it for just one toilet. The restaurant has a capacity for over 100 people, and more than one will need to use a toilet.
