Opinions de Alma Dessert Sunnyvale
Great dessert place in downtown Sunnyvale if you’re looking to just grab a quick bite or sweet treat! Fair warning, I did not get their tiramisu, although it did look good. I had a tiramisu drink, which was quite excellent! My friend had a passionfruit tea, which was super yummy and a very solid price. If you want just some standard tea, this place is fast, efficient, and has a great price. If you’re okay with paying more, then the fancier drinks are worth it!
The guy was so sweet that he explained everything about the menu and helped us decide what to choose from the menu. I always wanted to visit this place as it looked so cozy and with all the fancy drinks. It did not disappoint!!!! You can enjoy your drinks and tiramisu’s with the downtown vibes. The tiramisus are so nice and fresh 🍫 Black Forest Drink – Chocolatey and tastes like a dessert in a cup! - this was my favourite. 🫖 Tea-ramisu Drink – This is a must try for tiramisu lovers. Uniquely crafted drink. 70% sugar was right for me. 🍵 Matcha Tiramisu – Smooth and perfectly balanced. 🍪 Biscoff Tiramisu – Rich, cozy, and full of that caramel-cookie flavor. A total comfort dessert. 🌰 Pistachio Tiramisu – Creamy, nutty, and not overly sweet. Just WOW. 🥭 Mango Tiramisu – for the tropical twist. I loved their plushie. 😍
The tea-rimisu is soooo good! Every bite has little crispy bits of crumbly delights, comes with a crispy ladyfinger!! Beautifully soft whipped cream topped with cocoa powder!! So yummy!!! Get it with oat milk. Can’t go wrong
We visited this place on Sunday evening. The owner of this place was kind enough to explain what drinks we could order and also let us know about the ingredients in a few drinks we asked about. We ordered Mango Passion fruit Fantasy and Classic Tiramisu. The drink contains real Mango and Passion fruit. The flavours are amazing and passion fruit is really tasted fresh. Mango was sweet too. Really appreciate the owner not adding caffeine(green tea) when requested. Tiramisu was not too sweet and had balanced flavor. It was fresh and tasty. We will surely go back to try some more items on their menu. Best place for mango drinks and dessert. The prices were affordable too.
The drinks are so beautiful and delicious. The tiramisu also looks amazing but I’ll have to try it next time. The owner was so sweet and took the time to explain the drinks. The tiramisu drink and the squeeze cup with chocolate was so good!
Exceptional tiramisu selection and boba offerings. I couldn't believe how quiet this place was when I visited, it deserves a line out the door. The "tea-ramisu" was a solid milk tea with both crunchy add-ins and chocolate drizzle included, not to mention the mountain of coffee-flavored whipped cream and ladyfinger biscuit topping it off. I also got a chocolate tiramisu square to take home and that was also excellent. It had a balanced flavor and the nuts complemented it. I was highly satisfied and will be coming back.
Absolutely loved the tiramisu drink. Not too sweet, just perfect. The owner is really amiable. Highly recommend.
Not sure if this was a temporary flavor but it’s one of the best teas I’ve tried. It’s called the Tearamisu and tasted like a fusion of a black milk tea, coffee and mascarpone whipped cream, basically a tiramisu you can drink. We’re not from Cali otherwise this would probably be my go to tea spot 🧋
Alma Dessert's grape-flavored drink is absolutely amazing! It has the perfect amount of sweetness, with a natural grape taste that feels both refreshing and satisfying. The drink is incredibly smooth, with no artificial aftertaste, and it’s just the right balance of tangy and sweet. It’s the ideal drink to cool down with, especially on a warm day. Plus, the presentation is beautiful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. This is a must-try for anyone who loves fruit-flavored drinks. Five stars all the way!
We were just walking around Historic Murphy Ave and ran across this place. Great looking drinks and desserts. We were on our way to dinner, so just shared one drink. Per the recommendation of RT, we got Hate the Boss which is a must try for chocolate lovers. Excellent drink, friendly staff. We will be back to try other drinks and their desserts.
This tiramisu drink looks and tastes good! Love the top cream is not too sweet at all. The owner is very nice and recommended me to order this drink with no sugar (since chocolate is already sweet enough).

We are local, started coming to this shop as it was brand new and we love coming here fairly every week. The staff was always friendly, and the drinks were good. The price for the drinks is fair and is one of the only reasons why we visit Murphy Street. We apologize and thought the price wasn't fair due to us being mislead of the prices on Google, claiming it to be more expensive, hopefully it'll update more accurately with the in-person pricing.
Follow me on Instagram for more reviews! @hopeless_ramen_tic 📍Alma Dessert - Sunnyvale, CA ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: Strawberry Tiramisu - This was such a tasty, unique take on tiramisu! - The fresh strawberry puree was so delicious. - A very moist cake. Matcha Tiramisu - I love anything matcha flavored! - It was good - I think it needed to be a tad more moist though. Drinks: Grape Party - They used fresh grapes and it was so delicious. - This was my boyfriend and my favorite (but just by a little!). - They use a mascarpone cheese for the foam here which is very unique & a nice change! Mango Pomelo Splash - This drink reminded me of a drink I would be drinking in the summertime. - I haven’t had a boba drink like this before so it was a nice change. - Loved the creamy, sweet mango flavor in combination with the pomelo. I was invited to try out the boba drinks and desserts here so I brought my boyfriend. The staff was so kind. I know they have new drinks - such as the Tea-Ramisu and the I Hate My Boss - that I would love to try I. The future! They are still a very new store so I’m looking forward to seeing them grow. I would definitely come back! Date Visited: 12/11/2024
Grand opening new boba/tiramisu place next to Fashion Wok! Cute but not all drinks are good. The owner is funny, he said to other customers “Give me a moment, I’m not Peter Parker I don’t have enough hands”. The mango drink was not great (too sour, not smooth or creamy), but the jasmine milk tea my friend ordered was good! They also had aesthetic tiramisu drinks and desserts on the menu. Drinks: 5/10 (depends which drink you order? The tiramisu (TEAramisu) one looked really good, I’ll try ordering that one next time) Service: 10/10 (very friendly owner) Ambience: 6/10 (very small space, no seating, just pickup and go)
A tiny dessert shop in downtown Sunnyvale on the historic Murphy Street next to a number of restaurants. They specialize in a variety of tiramisu and coffee drinks. When we showed up on a Saturday evening after dinner, they ran out of the classic tiramisu. We tried the chocolate tiramisu instead, which was the closest to the classic version. It tasted quite good, not too sweet. There was a layer of crunchy chocolate on top. The prize is not cheap but the serving size is generous (enough for 3-4 people as the dessert is quite rich). There was no sitting in the shop. We took out the tiramisu and ate it on the beach outside the shop while people watching. This dessert shop is a nice addition to the downtown Sunnyvale neighborhood. We only wish they would serve smaller portions with a lower price tag.

We frequent here as we used to stay in Sunnyvale. We dropped by over on the way out and got ourselves a Tiramisu Tea and it was not up to standard. It’s bland and it’s just purely ice. Tastes like water with Oreo. Disappointed 😩

We had Chocolate Tiramisu. It was quite mediocre. Didn't feel fresh and the the top layer was really hard (which was unexpected given the picture). It was basically given us straight out of a refrigerator. Also, way too costly at $11.

The tiramisu looks super creamy from outside but they just cover it up so it looks good from outside. Once you cut it and look inside, it’s super dry. It literally tasted like I’m eating bread with a little bit of cream on it. Whoever raves about the tiramisu here has to go try an authentic tiramisu for real…also the place doesn’t have any indoor or outdoor seats so be aware.

Had the Oreo cake and it was straight “meh”. Also - found this weird gelatinous piece in the cake. I recommend going somewhere else for a $10 piece of cake.
Wow. Such attitude of the staff person there. Not going again even though I like their tiramisu. There is no reason for any customer to put up with the aggressive behavior of this lady who works there and almost seems to want to pick a fight for the most basic interaction.
I visited this store with my friend today, December 16, 2025, around 1:20 PM. The place was extremely busy. There was only one employee, her name was Anna, making a huge quantity of drinks--it looked like over 40 cups. I placed my order for a tiramisu at the kiosk. At the time of ordering, the employee did not share any information regarding the potential wait time. After waiting for over 20 minutes, I noticed she still had over 40 cups upcoming, likely from pre-orders. Feeling like I had already waited too long, I asked her how much longer it would take. She clearly got upset and replied in a rude voice tone, "Can you see how many cups I have to make more?" I was so embarrassed, especially since there were other customers waiting for their orders. Since I had to pick up my son soon, I asked her for a refund. However, she kept making drinks and ignored my request. I waited another 10 minutes and requested the refund again. When I asked a third time, she said I would have to come back again for the refund. I couldn't do this, as I live quite far from Sunnyvale. Right away, I left a message at the website and they gave me a refund. Overall, it was a very bad experience. While I understand the staff was overwhelmed, the lack of communication and the rude response made the situation unacceptable.
