Best pizzaria/red sauce joint I've been to west of the Mississippi. Found this gem 20 years ago on a road trip pre Google maps and the card has been on the fridge ever since. If you don't know what I mean, don't expect gourmet anything, table clothes or menus that are printed daily. Do expect great NYC pizza (round and Sicilian) on par with Stromboli's in the East Village or Joe's Downtown, with hearty pasta dishes for those of you who like carbs with your carbs. And talk to the namesake owner. It'll make you want to go back for even more.

For the longest time, I thought that this place was a Vietnamese restaurant because of Saigon, but it's actually in reference to Sai Kung, a district in Hong Kong well known for seafood. Crowds are usually a good sign, and indeed the dim sum is solid. Ingredients are fresh, everything is well made, and flavors are on point. The dim sum carts are well stocked, and you can also order a la carte if you want something specific. Highlights included roast duck (so juicy), turnip cakes (lots of turnip!), lava custard buns (a nice savory take, black sesame paste buns, BBQ pork buns (very fluffy), durian puffs (hard to find and so deliciously crispy), shrimp rice rolls, pan-fried veggie dumplings, and bean curd rolls (love the addition of glass noodles in the stuffing). Prices are reasonable, especially considering the excellent quality and Bay Area costs of living these days. Unlike the usual chaos of busy dim sum places, service was prompt and efficient, and the restaurant was clean, comfortable, and at an appropriate noise level. New staple unlocked!

The dim sum here is fresh and hot straight off the carts. I particularly love all the seafood items, and although a lot of the staff doesn't speak English they still are helpful and try their best to explain the different dishes. The restaurant is clean but always packed, so be prepared to wait a while if you come at peak dimsum time on weekend mornings. The dining room area is very noisy due to the crowds, but it's not any different from any other dim sum restaurant.

I have been coming to this place over the past 2 years and now that pandemic is over they are offering more variety in their dim sum. I love that they do push cart dim sum so you can see what’s fresh. I just went to Milpitas Koi Palace and I still prefer this place in terms of food and service they don’t give you the cold shoulder and force you to pay 18% service charge.

Excellent food and service ! First time dining here. We celebrated a special birthday with 11 people. From chat inquiries with Fiona and phone call planning and prep, to the actual dining, we were impressed with their responsiveness, flexibility, and helpfulness. They provided us a corner where we could decorate with our balloons and banner, and the manager patiently worked with us on a menu. On top of that, everyone was very happy with the food. Must tries are their salted egg crab, sautéed lobsters, salt and pepper pork chop, shrimp stuffed tofu, crabmeat and maw soup, pan fried prawns in soy sauce, to name some. The free dessert was a nice gesture too. All these plus ample parking, I highly recommend them.

This is one of my favorite dim sum place in the Bay . Wa waited 1 hours for 12 peoples in Chrismas eve lunch but the food was worthed it . Once you are in , the food come out quick . You can grab food on the cart or order it with the server. Service is nice, our server is friendly and helpful. The durian cream puff is bomb . Definitely recommend .

Must-try: 招牌榴莲酥, 豉汁凤爪 Come early in the morning otherwise you need to wait. Top dim sum place in local. Personally I do not like to use menu to order dim sum. I prefer waitresses to push the carts to show us the dishes and then I can decide whether to take it or not from the appearance. This restaurant is exactly the way I like. This reminds the life in China. All the dishes are good. Highly recommend to order 招牌榴莲酥. We did not find it in the dessert cart so instead we order it directly. It was brought to our table near the end of our dinner so I suppose it takes quite a while to cook it. They are very busy during their bussiness hours. They open at 10 a.m. and we arrived around 10:30. 70% of the tables are taken. I would suggest to come early in the morning but the waiting time should not be too bad. Definitely will come back again.

Food was okay. Felt like the sauce was a bit running down with water or something. Had a good vibe to the place with a lively atmosphere. I used to live in NYC and I still go there quite often. This is close as you can get to a NY pizza. Darn good. Only one person was waiting on tables the day I went so it was little slow. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I love pushcart dim sum restaurants, and this one doesn't disappoint. This place offers traditional dim sum dishes, albeit a bit pricey. Service can be hit-or-miss, the pushcarts with all of the steamer baskets very rarely made it down the aisle we were sitting. We had to ask the manager to redirect them our way.

This place has been around for ages so I originally didn't feel the need to review. I loved this place as a kid and wanted to eat here for my birthday occasionally. Later on, my coworkers liked to come here for lunch. The food was going downhill at the time but the place was famous for their taro buns, which my boss usually tried to go for. The service is so slow here, he used to grab the plates and chopsticks from that wooden shelf himself. What I like about this place is that they have a dim sum menu that lists some platters that are not available on the carts, like the surfer clam mifen, xo rice cakes, fried turnip cakes, and some special desserts (fried almond pudding). All that is missing is a sticky rice chicken. The workers are pretty rude and they prefer you to order from their carts for obvious reasons. The managers are quite perfunctory as well. You know, the norm for dim sum places in the bay. But don't let that deter you because there is a great variety of dishes and it has been coming out hot the last two times I went.

I was disappointed with the food. The eggplant parmigiana was good and had a nice cheesy topping, but the portion was small, and it was the only thing in the plate -- no bread, pasta, garnishment. We ordered the Chicago pizza, which was $47. The crust was nice and crispy, but the toppings were very sparse. $90 with tax and tip. Probably won't go back.

Good food and atmosphere, so far friendly folks, but I personally don't like or think the staff should be handling pizzas or slices with their bare hands while also touching other things like money, counters, etc and then touch the pizzas again possibly infecting with bacterias. They should wear gloves and someone else manage money. I saw several folks touched my pizza slices, touched their pants, the counter, handled a phone call and come back to pour toppings and then put in oven. I remember we have to wait for table. This is one of dimsum place in bay area which still use cart and you can get the dimsum directly from the moving cart. Many bay area dimsum restaurant have stopped doing it for many years. The food is ok. The dimsum is good. Price wise I think is comparable with other dimsum place.

It seems they go by group size, so your wait time may vary. The food itself was excellent—flavorful, fresh, and lived up to the hype. However, the dining experience left a lot to be desired. The noise level inside was overwhelming. It was so loud that we could barely hold a conversation, which made it hard to enjoy our meal, especially since we were catching up with friends we hadn’t seen in a while. Another downside was the service style. Staff constantly pushed food carts around and were very insistent about us ordering more—even when we said we were fine and still had plenty of food left on the table. It felt disruptive and a bit too aggressive, breaking up our conversation multiple times. While the food was great, the atmosphere was chaotic and not ideal for a relaxed meal. It’s also on the pricey side—we paid around $130 for four people. I might consider takeout next time to enjoy the food without the stress.

This place has definitely gone downhill. They stopped having the carts to go around with dim sum dishes you could pick for your tables. We ordered 7 dishes total for the 3 of us. Three came and one dish was cold. Then we waited for a very long time for another dish to come. Then we waited and waited for the last 2 dishes. We finally decided to go then the black sesame buns came and they tasted like undone and reheated from frozen. They didn’t taste like anything what we had before. They actually have the food cart going so you can point and choose as they come around table by table. I wish the restaurant worked on their cleanliness. There was lot of dirty dishes station all around the restaurant, trash bins everywhere, and overall looked not clean. My plates and cups were not well wiped and made me a little concerned with their sanitary level… The food was ok. They were more on above average side compared to the other dim sums in the area, but not the greatest… I would recommend this place for large families with kids. Their portions are big and filling. Overall the place felt very old-style and not sanitary. If they were a little cheaper, I could overlook their unsanitary condition. I would come back here for a take-out if the other dim sum option is overly crowded.

I've never been so disappointed in pizza!? Lol. I had a simple order of two, Pepperoni Pizza Slice that includes: pineapple chunks, tomato sauce and melted cheese. I included ham and ordered a salad. The order was done early, pizza was COLD from sitting out, no pineapple, little to no sauce and flat as can be, was disgusting, I couldn't eat it, was like it was run over with a truck, no flavor, the salad was room temperature. I called they said they could replace the pizza if I drove back, nothing about the salad and a refund couldn't be done because of door dash. This was my first time and zero interest of coming back. Beware your food will be sitting out at room temperature. A bowling alley pizza is better then what I paid for. This is what you pay for $6.25. I ordered Pizza My Heart, vast difference. They actually use ingredients, not cold, what I paid for and it was delivered.
