While the rice is lackluster, the beans are satisfying. The red and avocado sauces elevate this burrito by 0.3 stars, making it amazing when combined. **Chicharron Street Taco: 4.6 stars** This taco boasts deep flavors from the tomato and chile guero it's cooked in, with a crispy tortilla. Although I prefer the meat cut into long rectangles or hand-cracked pork rind rather than squares, the skin appears fresh rather than dried, and it lacks pork meat, being purely skin. It's really good, and I need to try it in a burrito.

Stumbled upon this taqueria on our trip to the area… food is authentic, horchata is the real deal, and salsa bar was fire! We came back for breakfast a couple of days later and I had cafe de olla with chilaquiles divorciados. I could eat here daily, it’s a hidden gem.

This is my favorite taqueria in Sunnyvale, which is saying something as there is some strong competition out there. I always get the carnitas super burrito with everything on it, and it's incredible every single time. The dark red salsa they serve with it is smoky and complements the ultra-tender carnitas. I've ordered the same thing for months and they have yet to disappoint. My only regret is not finding this little place sooner!

The Super Meat Lover's burrito is exactly what I look for in a burrito. All the sauces are great, and a couple make you sweat. I'm from San Diego, now living out of state. Coming here for work now right near Ruby's completely scratches that hitch that's impossible to scratch once you leave California for great great mom and pop Mexican food. So if you love large burritos that are heavy on good meat, with awesome sauces, Ruby's is your spot!

I visited this spot for the first time despite passing it many many times on my rides back and forth to the Bay trail. I was happy when it opened since it was closed during the pandemic, I believe taquerias should be available in all neighborhoods. I ordered the asada super burrito to go. The cashier was friendly and brought the food out to me on my bike when it was ready. I thought the burrito was a little pricey, but you can tell by the picture it's quite large. I'll definitely get two meals out of it and probably could have gotten three if I didn't stuff myself. It was also very tasty. The beef had a good char flavor and the tortilla was packed with avocados, beans, rice and cheese. With so many great talk ideas around, it's hard to choose but I would certainly order here again on my way by.

Local homey Mexican food! Recommend the super tacos with guacamole, burnt Oaxaca cheese, beans and pico de gallo. They are big! And the corn tortilla is hand rolled and thin so it is well balanced and not too carby. I keep ordering the shrimp because the meat is juicy and fresh. I have a sensitive stomach to canola/old oils and I never get a stomach ache here :) it can get a little hot inside during the summer but there’s plenty of shaded outdoor seating
