I liked the Preserved Eggs w.Green Pepper & Eggplant which I think is their signature dish - big portions and has a unique texture. Hunan Style Sauteed Pork is also another go-to dish - had a good balance of spicy and savory flavor.

This might be hands down one of the best Hunanese restaurants in the Bay Area! The stinky tofu really surprised me - the sauce and the pickles that went with it was just spot on! Also try out the Dong An chicken soup.

Food is very good and service is great. The only thing of note is that the pig ears could have been sliced thinner so that it's more crunchy and easier to chew.

We enjoyed the flavorful Hunan dishes there. Our favorites were the ribs, chili and pork stir fry, and dry pot. The herbal drink goes perfectly with the spicy food!

Although the restaurant is supposed to close at 8:30, we went in around 8:15 and had no trouble ordering. It’s really close to AMC, so it’s the perfect spot to fill up before catching a movie. The cabbage & pork dish was perfect in it's simplicity, while the pork belly with preserved veggies and steamed buns was a nice little treat. The service is fast and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. The interior of the restaurant is really cute with chinese fortunes on the wall and nice floral scrolls.

My favorites are the braised beef combination flaming pot and the sautéed string beans with sausage with a side of rice! This is usually enough for me and another person to share—plus, we have enough left to take home. I don’t think there are many places that come close to this flavor. My mouth is watering just typing this 🤤

We came in on a Friday night, and that was the perfect time to celebrate the end of the week and greatest way to start the weekend! We are beyond satisfied with the service and food quality. It’s continently located at the Caltrain station and the atmosphere is very welcoming and calm. We’d highly recommend the grilled fish as well as the fried buns! They helped bag the leftovers and frequently refilled water and removed plates. +/- Expensive but ok value given the portion sizes. - The dry pot options were missing some staple add-ons like rice cakes and lotus. - Old store with inconvenient restrooms.

The preserved eggs with eggplant and green pepper is really good! Also ordered the pecking duck and beef griddle. The duck tasted amazing with its garlic chili sauce. Would come to this place again!

I got the lamb dry pot. It has quite a bit of bones. Good for flavor, not for texture. Spicy level is hot. I would go for medium next time.

It's only half of the plate when you order the take out, ridiculous

During my recent meal here, I discovered that the restaurant is using illegal and hazardous "lymph meat" in their dishes. I ordered the Sautéed Pork with Chili Pepper (辣椒炒肉) and found that the pork slices had the distinctive, irregular, and gritty texture of lymph meat.

Stopped by a weekday night. There are 8 groups waiting with 20+ minute wait time. They have two empty tables but don’t allow any small group to sit and just told us to wait very impatiently. Why would I beg to eat at a place with such bad service and poor manner? Will never come back again!

Ordered 3 dishes for takeout. All dishes were too spicy - mouth was on fire and couldn’t taste the food. We eat a lot of spicy food, but this was beyond reasonable.
