Absolutely yummy tea shop 🤤. These drinks are an experience in itself! I had the lavender milk tea with red bean and my partner had the mocha coffee with boba. Both drinks were incredibly delicious! My new number one spot, I want to try their entire menu. 😋

It had jelly, red boba, green jelly noodles, coconut, jackfruit, red beans, ube ice cream, and a couple other things! Given the large size of it, I thought the price was reasonable. I did have to wait a bit but overall it was worth the wait!

Tried BAMBŪ for the first time and had their Avadurian—honestly, it was really good! The mix of flavors was refreshing and unique, definitely something I’d come back for. The dessert had just the right balance of sweetness and texture. The place itself has a cozy vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends or just chilling solo. Clean, well-lit, and welcoming. Overall, a great first experience and I’m looking forward to trying more items on the menu!

the variety of desserts and drinks they offer is incredible, and everything I tried was delicious. I especially loved their bubble tea – perfectly sweetened and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The atmosphere of the shop is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items from their menu. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a sweet treat!

I walked in on a Friday late afternoon/early evening and there was no one else in the store -- except for one other customer who walked in ahead of me. The parking lot was packed and tough to find a spot. There weren't any employees around. The person ahead of me was waiting for her order (which she made before I got there or online). When the employee came with her order (which seemed to require additional attention or customization), that's when I finally found an employee to take my order. I then noticed a doorbell on the counter to signal someone. Once I made my order, it was ready pretty quickly.

We visited this place after we had ramen at Ramen Seas. Our kids enjoyed boba tea and other sweet stuff here. Everything looks very cool and delicious as well. We’ll come back again!

#1 Bambu Special is a Vietnamese dessert drink mixing coconut water with chunky coconut, whole Logan, pandan jelly and lots of basil seed. Good place to hang out at this clean, bright dessert place with excellent free WiFi.

I had awesome trio, it was ok, I like the red beans inside the drink. The coconut milk is fresh. The staff was nice when I asked what mung bean was, they gave some sample for me to taste it. My friend didn’t like the summer delight, there was something crispy that they didn’t like.

Interesting little place I stopped in after reading the sign that said avocado Vietnamese iced coffee. Sounded to weird to pass up. It was delicious the first few sips were interesting then it became addictive. Can't wait to go back and try some of their other interesting drinks!!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with my friend and got a strawberry banana smoothie. The drink came out quite quickly and there wasn’t much of a line and I could customize the sugar level which was really nice. The drink was refreshing though it was pretty cold when I was drinking it, and the prices were a bit on the higher end like Jamba Juice. Quite a casual ambiance inside though!

Can't really give a thorough review since I'm only visiting but it was nice. Self-service but no one really came out to help when I wanted to take off an ingredient. Drink was good though. Mango fruit tea with basil seeds

This is one of my favorite drink places with che bau mau drink with sweet coconut milk is my favorite. Wish the drinks are less sweet but that's my personal taste. Feels like a modern boba cafe from Vietnam

Cute macaroons with lots of fun flavor options. They also have Mavens ice cream macaroons. I recommend the coffee flavor. It’s so fudgey. The smoothie and drink options are highly customizable with tons of flavor options. Prices are around $6-8 for dessert drinks and macaroons range from $2-4. Four stars because I’ve had better in the Bay Area but solid stop in Sunnyvale.

Great dessert spot if you're looking for a sweet drink post meal as opposed to a solid dessert Best thing about Bambu is that it's got some of the best drinks that emphasize toppings. If you like pandan, mung bean, and fruit, this is a solid choice Would recommend most of the chè if you want something fruit and juicy to chew on, but otherwise, their teas are a decent option

In the middle, there were counter top seating for individual experiences to work/study. On the opposite end was a sit-down gathering area that requests for shoe removal. The fun decor with lanterns, plants, neon light, and television playing calming new age music was inviting. I ordered the Bambu Special, Bambu Favorite and pandan waffle. All were delicious and delivers nostalgia of desserts I grew up with. I will definitely visit each time I'm back in the area again!

Reliable spot for Vietnamese chè. Their 75% sweet level is 100% in other places. Service is always friendly.

I'm surprised at the wide assortment of desserts and sweets from here, from the Che, boba drinks, waffles, and so much more on the menu. I found the inside really cute and decorated nicely with the plants and florals. The back area with the floor seating and low tables were very pretty. We ordered a bunch of Che drinks, I got the #5 Smashed Avocado and my boyfriend got the #12 Taro Lover. Service was timely. The avocado flavor was great, but personally I enjoyed my boyfriend's Taro drink more than mine. For my personal preference, I wish that the #5 Smashed Avocado Che was milky and creamier. It pretty much just tasted like avocado chunks and ice, with only a bit of condensed milk. I understand traditionally that it uses condensed milk, but it would be nice if it also had evaporated milk or coconut milk in it. That's why I preferred the #12 Taro Lover. The actual Taro paste at the bottom of the drink paired so nicely with the coconut milk. When I come back in the future, I'd get any Che drink with taro and coconut milk because it was so lovely.

Particular location has a bit of a weird atmosphere (there was an office table and chair). The drinks and pandan waffle were pretty good though!

They’ve moved to an automated ordering system inside the cafe which is quite cumbersome to use and takes more time. Drinks are good but expensive. Have tried the boba teas and vietnamese coffee both are great but wish the quantity of toppings were more for that price.

Self service ordering via touch screen pos. Depending on how many orders, pretty fast service. Desserts are not bad considering where you are at... not much if any viet che places in or around Sunnyvale. It's not as good as SJ, but it beats driving 20 min for it.

The Bambu drinks here are so watery. The San Jose location's drink and service is so much better! Will not be coming here again.

2nd visit to this location and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the quality of my drink this time. Two stars for the decor + amazing staff who was quick despite the long line. I ordered the #10 Babmu Favorite and the Red Tapioca had hard overcooked gummy pieces while the Pandan Jelly had formed into a large solid chunk that was impossible to separate. I'm pretty sad since this dessert is my go-to and I've ordered it at this+other locations and never been disappointed. If I go back I'll probably stick to other toppings. Hopefully it was just an off day.

not really a fan of their vietnamese coffee, it tasted a bit burned and the aftertaste was a bit too sweet. the shop itself was nice though and maybe their other stuff is good

I had hope from the pictures, but the waffle was disappointing. It was mostly soggy, and served with defrosted strawberries (the menu promises fresh fruit), and there was no option to choose whipped cream (also promised on the menu). I've liked their drinks in the past but I recommend avoiding their mochi waffles.

Ordered Mango Dazzle based on top recommendation on DoorDash. Doesn't look like the one on the menu. Also they forgot about the order. We had to constantly remind them which is weird. They didn't even honour the low sugar option. Had to dump it all.

Melted ice cream is NOT a smoothie, I don't care what glamor surrounds the place. They had one overworked guy, slow service ensued.

Absolutely atrocious service if you value your time. To give some context, I placed an order through DoorDash and it was displayed to me that my order was ready . I went to the place and was waiting patiently for over 10 mins without even an acknowledgement from the staff. 10 minutes became 20. I asked politely whether my order was ready as displayed. They said no and to wait five minutes. 20 became 40 and 3 people who came in after me and ordered in store (including a gentleman who ordered 4 drinks ) got served before my DoorDash order which was “ready” was served. Then I lost my patience and told them “I have been waiting here for 40 minutes” and finally they said “oh, sorry, give us six minutes” and *started* preparing my order. In total I spent 46 minutes waiting for ONE taro milkshake. Absolute waste of everyone’s time involved. If DoorDash wait times are not going to be honored, please have the courtesy to let the customer know. And also , when a customer is waiting for one drink for 40 minutes , let it not be on the customer to keep asking you whether the drink is ready

We love Bambu chain in Texas so we were excited to try Bambu in Sunnyvale. We ordered the popular number 1 and it tastes nothing like other Bambu locations, the juice is bland like water and does not have any coconut taste to it. Toppings are too soft, not fresh and chewy. We will not come back here.

I immediately took it back to the lady. She argued with me that she can’t see the bug and tried to stir my drink to hide the bug. Luckily it came on top again. I also asked about added sugar, she lied again that no sugar was added. She said if I want to exchange my drink. I was disgusted already and wanted to leave. I said NO to another drink and asked her to keep my drink. She said a firm NO that she can’t take the drink back and can’t issue refund. I was out of my patience and mentioned I need to complain about the bug in the drink!! She then ANGRILY stared at me for the next one minute. We were just staring at each other for one full minute. She looked super angry. In the same angry attitude, she turned and did something at her register and gave me a receipt saying take your refund. Not sure if someone ever taught her anything about CUSTOMER SERVICE, specially when a bug appeared in my drink. She lied about sugar too. Here I am, sitting at my couch with upset and aching stomach. Imagine how serious she would be about something people are allergic to. Consider my one star towards the cool interior they had. But negative stars for their drink and the angry employee. Needless to say I am never going back there again!!!

Wish i could give 0 stars. Bland watered down milk tea, so expensive and a waste of money. Threw out the drink since it was so bad I couldn’t drink it. I chose black milk tea less ice and oat milk and I got a small drink filled with ice and not a hint of milk. Do NOT buy boba here. SO many better options. Also their pandan waffle took forever to come out and it was just Ok…very greasy too…
