Opinions de Sourdough & Co. Sunnyvale
After trying a sandwich from another sourdough bread company location in Sacramento, I was excited to find out that there was a location close by to where I live. I've had sandwiches from all the major chains, and these sandwiches have been the best by far. They don't skimp on meats like many other chains have been doing lately. I came here close to their closing time, and they still accommodated me with extremely friendly service. I got the garlic pesto turkey sandwich and it was large and delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. TL;DR - kind service and amazing sandwiches (better than any other local option)
Was looking to grab some quick lunch before getting groceries, and saw there was a new place opened up so had to try it! The place is bright and inviting, and the servers were extremely friendly and helpful! I had to order the sourdough bread bowl with the clam chowder for my first visit, but so many of their options were sounding very tempting! Food came out very quickly and both the bread bowl and soup were piping hot! The sourdough has a nice crunchy texture and is clearly freshly baked, the soup is also very tasty! As you can see in the picture they do not skimp on the soup either! Was a very satisfying lunch, will definitely come back again and try one of their other dishes. The French dip sandwich, for one, is calling out to me already!
Definitely has sourdough & co vibes but I would argue it tastes even better. The sourdough is super warm, soft, and delicious. They loaded my sandwich up with meat and veggies. The roast beef is amazing. Super friendly staff too! To be honest, the bread alone would’ve brought me back.
With no joke some how there's 3 bread stores all within a block radius of each other and this is the last one I'm trying. I only really go for the clam chowder and bread and just based on that it was pretty good. Price wise as well it isn't out of line so for what I had it was a nice visit.
Super tasty sandwiches with *gluten free wrap* option on all sandwiches!! Rueben and pepper turkey were delicious. Servers went above & beyond to make sure we got what we needed and we were very happy that we stopped here. Will be back soon!
Tried this place for the first time.. and highly recommend. I can't stress enough how good the food was. Haven't had a sandwich like this in a while. Keep it up guys. Definitely will be coming back

What an amazing sandwich shop! Everybody was very friendly, the place was very clean, and the sandwiches were very tasty! 10/10!! Bonus points for the cozy environment :)

Quick and friendly service. It was nice of them to come and check on us to see how we were doing and how the food tasted. Food was fresh and tasty, not to mention how hot my clam chowder was and how fresh the sourdough bread bowl is! Would come here again.
Great food. Fresh and quality ingredients. Not just a regular “sandwich shop”. Extremely friendly staff. I stopped in with my daughter for lunch and while she’s not a picky eater, she is VERY particular sometimes. They make her the perfect sandwich, she finished it all and asked for more.
When you walk in the entire staff greets you with a welcome in unison. The bread bowl was crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. Could of used a little more soup in the inside. The clam chowder and breadbowl were very Yummy. The dining area is a little small but warm and inviting. And the place smelled like fresh baking bread! Great place for an intimate quick yummy bite.
Visited the bay area for the holidays and was pleasantly surprised! The bread was crunchy and soft and the sourdough blended so well with the ingredients. Sukie helped us at the counter and she was so generous with her time. The space is also really clean but feels like a family run business. Would come back next time we're in town and recommend to others!
I had such a wonderful experience at Sourdough Bread Company! From the moment my family walked in, the lady behind the counter greeted us with warmth and hospitality. She was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu and helping us choose our meals. To top it all off, before we even finished eating, we were gifted some sourdough to take home with us to Texas such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture! This is a must try restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!
We came in hungry and ordered a sourdough bread bowl with clam chowder. It was delicious and filling! Service was great, very friendly. Clean restaurant! Definitely recommend!
PERFECT CRUNCH SOURDOUGH SANDWICHES!!! definitely coming back. My brother recommended this place and I’m just disappointed I haven’t tried this earlier. There’s hot and cold sandwiches. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was very flavorful and they have clam chowder. Thank you!!!
Highly recommend this spot! The food was delicious and the bread was fresh and perfectly crispy. Clean, pleasant atmosphere, and Suki was super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!
Great tasting sandwiches and great people! We had crispy kickin chicken and turkey sandwiches. Highly recommend. Bread was perfect!
This place is absolutely delicious .. the sandwich was crisp to perfection.. the place is super clean including the restroom.. The service was pleasant and they are really passionate about the sandwiches - Sam
I love their sandwiches. The sourdough is fresh and crispy and has a perfect tang. I get the ham and turkey toasted and it’s delicious. It’s probably my favorite sandwich shop. They’re pretty fast too which is nice. In addition to the indoor seating they have a nice courtyard with outdoor seating.

Everything is very good here. All from sandwiches to salads and soups. All the staff are so friendly. I was greeted very nicely by the staffs when I walked in the store. Definitely will come back again.

We stumbled on this place by accident and what a delicious accident it was! It was not long before closing, and while my husband & i usually won't enter any restaurant within 30 minutes of closing, the kind and gracious staff assured we had plenty of time and they had ample food, and it was very clean. We both had clam chowder in bread bowls; the soup was outstanding, super flavorful, hot and exactly what I needed! The bread bowls were perfect! Not chewy, perfectly toasted and not too heavy. We both tried to eat the whole thing but couldn't quite make it so it was more than enough food. Plus, even after ordering and getting our food, the staff checked in with us, more than once, to ensure everything was ok. My hubby and I have both worked decades in the food service industry so its little things like that which will bring us back to a place. We dont live in the area but next time we come thru, we know to come here! Thank you again!!
Found this place while searching for sandwiches, OMG, I loved it! I had the pastrami, and my friend got the crispy chicken. Both were amazing. The bread was super crispy on the outside, and the fillings were perfect. The lady at the counter was so kind, she even offered me free cups for water (which is rare in the US, where most places expect you to buy bottled water). I’m so glad I found this spot. I’ll definitely be ordering these sandwiches every now and then on Uber Eats!
I had the most delicious caprese sandwich and tomato bisque at Sourdough Bread Company, and my family loved their food as well! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The food came out quickly and was beautifully prepared. The employees were incredibly kind and helpful, making the whole experience even better. I will most definitely be coming back again! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and excellent service.
Been here once before last year, when Boudins, ran out of sourdough bread bowls. Tried this then and it was ok. Today we wanted a sandwich. We usually go to firehouse subs, but it's kind of far. So sourdough it was... Based on the price, I was gonna give them a low rating. Cause this place isn't cheap at all! But when we got the sandwiches (garlic pesto turkey & ham), they were pretty good. I was surprised. Is this a place you can come to often?!? No... Cause we spent $55 (with 15% tip) for (1) 8" chips and soda combo & (1) 6" chips and combo. I know we aren't in the $5 footlong era anymore, but 20+ per meal is wild to me. I'd come back tho. Just wouldn't be all the time. The staff were very nice and always had a smile. That was pleasant! 4 out of 5. 1 off for the price.

Reminds me of Subway - unfriendly and sparse. I'm more of a Boudin/Panera/LeBoulanger person. Also this one around 4pm the sun is streaming in, makes it hard to find a table. Great if you love sourdough, which I don't particularly like :(
My family and I decided to go try this place out. We went in to order to go. When we walked up to the cash register to order, we weren't greeted or acknowledged. There were 3 ladies, all young, probably in 18-21 years old. Two of them were busy making sandwiches and the other was sweeping the floor. Mind you, they all saw us come in. One of the ladies making sandwiches told the one sweeping to go to the register. She didn't greet us, just asked what we wanted to order. Didn't smile at all or even let us know what the total was and to pay when we are ready. Their whole vibe was off putting and unwelcoming. The service was just terrible. It wasn't even busy. Now the sandwiches were ok. I ordered the #5 8in sandwich with no tomatoes. They still put tomatoes on it, not the end of the world but it was a simple request that they still couldn't do. The prices for the sandwiches are ridiculous for the quality. You're paying almost 20 dollars for an 8in sandwich which barely has any deli meat. The sourdough bread was also super tough for the sandwich. Tldr: Service was unwelcoming, unfriendly, and poor. Food is not worth the price, there are better sandwich places for the same price elsewhere. Definitely not returning to this place. If you really like sourdough sandwiches, go to California Sourdough Eatery on Murphey Ave. 100x more better and delicious.
