My boyfriend and I finally got to try this place. It was Excellent. He had the Mac daddy & I had the bacon avocado w jalapeño melt. W tomato soup. We will definitely be going back. Oh, he also had the snickerdoodle shake that was bomb. We even got sandwiches to go for later. The service was great. The place was so clean. It was very, very good.

I was helped by Fanny and Lee prepared my chicken sandwich it was the best experience and I took a while in line asking questions because I never been there and she was patient with me knowing the line was long I felt great leaving ! Full and ready for work thank you guys !!!

When I asked the server for recommendations, he wasn’t able to narrow it down, simply saying “everything is good.” So, I went with the Impossible Spicy Mission Burger, garlic parmesan fries, and a soda. The food arrived quickly and was well-presented. The burger was delicious with just the right amount of spice, though the fries could have used a stronger garlic flavor. Still, they weren’t bad. While it’s a bit pricier than your average burger spot, The Melt delivers on quality and atmosphere. If you’re looking for a fancy burger experience in Sunnyvale, this is a great choice.

I've walked by this restaurant a few times while visiting Downtown Sunnyvale, so finally decided to give it a try! This place serves all kinds of melt sandwiches, the steak and cheese melt was calling to me so decided to get that. Food came out quickly and was piping hot! Was definitely cheesy and a satisfying sandwich! Server was friendly, though you order from the kiosk and pick up when your buzzer buzzes, so it required minimal service. The restaurant overall is bright and inviting, I will definitely come back again when I have cheesy sandwich cravings again!

We finally tried The Melt and WOW — not just the fries, but everything was absolutely bomb! 🤯🔥 Every single bite was packed with incredible flavor. The food was amazing on its own, but what truly set this place apart was the outstanding customer service and immaculate vibes. A HUGE special shoutout to the manager, Lee — he was beyond amazing. Lee was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about our experience. He turned what would’ve been a pleasant visit into an absolutely exquisite one. He is truly the definition of exceptional hospitality and 100% deserves a raise! 😉 This is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We’ll forever remember this place, and we cannot wait to bring others here and share this spot because everyone deserves to experience it. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! 💯

Delicious food and fantastic customer service. We had the mushroom burger and spicy burger. The fries pickles and omg try the ginger soda at the fountain drink. We also had strawberry lemonade too which was so yummy and fresh. Great customer service. It's a must try. We'll be back for sure

We came for lunch and the service was great. 1st time here and we got some great recommendations and everything was really good. The spicy chicken sandwich was really spicy for me, but I got the sauce on the side, as recommended, so I was able to add the amount I wanted to each bite. Fries were fantastic. The steak and cheese was one of the best I’ve had at any place. That too was spicy though with the fresh jalapeños, so be warned.

The food is above average for the price, and the ambient was surpsingly quiet and chill. The burgers are simple but balanced. The meat is very good and cooked to a perfect medium-well, though you can order a well done optionally. This place is generous on the cheese and lean on the sauce, which means their bread doesn't get very soggy. The ingredients overall are good. The soda is a local craft alternative that is very good, and on its own a huge plus. Overall, it is not necessarily special or fancy, and it is priced as an intermediate fast food place at what should be a bit over 15-20$ per person. But it is far preferable compared to The Habit, Five Guys, or Inn N Out.

They have a great selection, but my favorite has to be the garlic Parmesan fries, which are packed with flavor and always served hot and fresh. My friends and I like to visit this place almost every week, and the food, staff, and place are overall amazing! Food-wise, the price is pretty good for the quality taste and large portions you're getting. 1-2 orders of fries was enough for a group of 4 people. The crispy onions are a MUST if you're ordering burgers. The service is always fast and efficient while providing great work when our group swings by. Super polite as well!

food was more than expected. Cashier went above and beyond her job and split my milkshake for my two kids she could’ve just gave me an extra cup but she was very nice enough to split it for me thank you. Restaurant was very clean and even the restrooms. Definitely coming back for another crispy chicken sandwich with cheese.

I had no expectations coming into this place, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and atmosphere. I loved that you can place your order yourself using tablets at the entrance. The space was clean, and they offer plenty of vegetarian options. What really stood out to me was the ability to customize every ingredient in your burger through the ordering interface, even adding extras if you want. It’s like building your own burger from scratch—super convenient! The food was delicious, and the garlic fries were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

First time and my god it won’t be the last! I had a small window of free time before flying back home and boy did I make the right decision I was greeted by Lee, who has to be the friendliest person in the world. Explained the menu perfectly to me so I can make the best decision of the day I ordered a Double Melt with nothing in other than jalapeño’s and pickles to pair with the double patties and American cheese and Garlic Parmesan fries The burger is cooked medium rare and was simply incredible. The flavours and the quality of the beer are present throughout The fries were loaded with Parmesan cheese, Garlic, and oregano powder My meal ended on a high with a Root beer float! Honestly, it takes a lot for me to get this excited about burgers but do yourself a favour and get involved If more people were like Lee, the world would be a much, much better place Kind and knowledgeable Thanks Lee and the team for a wonderful dining experience

Hands down for sure 🙌 the food was so delicious and just what i expected after hearing about the melt. Employees are so welcoming and I got offered a warm cookie and that made my kids beyond happy. Thank you staff we definitely will be back.

This place feels dialed in from the first step inside: genuinely warm people, a menu that’s all signal and no noise, and a calm, inviting atmosphere that makes you slow down and enjoy the meal instead of treating it like a pit stop. There’s plenty of variety, but it never feels scattered everything just makes sense together. I caught myself mapping out my next visit order before I’d even finished this one, and that pretty much says it all: I’m coming back.

Not only is this the best burger place in the city, the staff are so chill and welcoming, especially Lee who I always see at the counter. He’s so friendly and makes every visit here memorable. The prices are good, and the food has a premium quality to it. It’s better to eat here than any fast food place now that the prices at most fast food resturaunts have increased, because The Melt has much better value for the quality.

The BBQ Bacon Burger is AMAZING! You have to try it. I was in the area Christmas shopping and it was my first time eating here after being recommended by a colleague of mine. It did not disappoint! The food was hot and my burger was not soggy and for one, I ate a BBQ burger that did not fall apart while eating it. The guy who helped me. Daniel? He was so nice. It was clean and I loved the artwork in there. I will be returning!!

We go to the Melt all the time, but tonight stuck out the most because the service was above and beyond. Michael who was working at the front checked up on us making sure everything was good a couple of times. He greets everyone and also says bye to all letting customers know to have a good night. I believe great customer service is hard to come by, and Michael brings what many places are missing. I love that he genuinely cares about the customers. He also is constantly cleaning and making sure the restaurant looks good. Had to make sure he gets a shout out. Thanks for adding your kindness to our family dinner, Michael!!

The Garlic Parmesan Fries were decent but didn’t stand out, and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich was okay but not particularly memorable. If you’re craving a solid grilled cheese and soup, this spot is worth a visit.

I've been wanting to try out The Melt for a while based on the reviews. I've finally done it and it's.. disappointing. The sweet potato fries were surprisingly bad (a few not even cooked enough so hard). Basically if you air fry Costco sweet potato fries, they will taste better. The burger was fine (I got the classic double melt), but nothing special. The price isn't that great either (23 bucks for these). The staff here is super nice, but unfortunately the food is below expectation.
