This cozy(and perhaps underrated) Italian restaurant is unexpectedly great! The food is as good as some of the best restaurants out there. It’s ten times better than the overpriced-hit-and-miss Artusi - the other Peckham Italian restaurant. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We loved the food and the atmosphere. We were having a terrible evening until we came here. They made us forget our troubles. The sausage dishes and meatball dishes are fantastic. We're still here .... Hope the desserts are just as good!

What a wonderful little Italian, I wished I had found it earlier 👌. I took my son and five friends for a surprise meal and it didn't disappoint. I will definitely be going back for more 😁.

This is one of our favourite restaurants for the family and we’ve visited it many times.The customer service is really good ; especially the restaurant owner and chef- Mr Eduardo. He was very friendly and charismatic. The whole atmosphere was really cozy and warm. We can’t wait to go back again and I really recommend it.

We did a small wedding reception here the food and service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered and said how good it was. The price was really cheap considering the quality of the food, l would recommend this restaurant to anyone

Lovely food, great atmosphere and wonderful friendly service. Laura was lovely and gave great recommendations. It's a little escape to Italy in the heart of peckham. The Pinot Grigio was delicious and perfectly paired with the pasta.

Fabulous hidden gem. We have been going here for the past 15 years. Always one of our favourites. Pasta Emiliana is a family favourite. Love the chicken farcie too.

Our daughter and son in law took us to this restaurant whilst staying with them and we had such a lovely evening. Food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and we definitely recommend. Look forward to returning again next time we visit.

It's like stepping back in time.. When restaurants were individual and the food was simple and delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the food is cooked in way where you can taste the individual ingredients. The staff are welcoming and everything is timed perfectly. Highly recommended.

It was used as a location for a scene in one of my most favorite British movies " Rye lane " . The scene - Dom met with his ex- girlfriend and his best friend ( who are now dating) , and Yas comes in and saves Dom . It's a great place 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Excellent meal and a lovely spot. The prawn starter was delightful, the sauce in particular was fantastic. I had the fungi pizza, it was great. Crusty and doughy at the same time. Five stars all day!

We returned yesterday with excitement, as soon as we found out the restaurant had reopened. It was perfect, just as we left it - service impeccable, food delicious as always (the chef even prepared by request an old favourite which had been removed from the very slightly reduced new menu) and all covid safety procedures were in place to ensure we had a lovely, relaxing evening. Faultless. We are so happy they are back in action and implore everyone to visit and keep them that way!

Authentic little Italian which transports you straight to the Italian countryside! Beautiful food, simple, honest and excellent cookery. 3 courses x 3 people and not one was flawed. Excellent, little Italian restaurant that was packed out when we left around 830pm on a Friday. We were fortunate to have a lovely server upstairs from Peru, good natured and hard-working. Unpretentious and tasty.

What an amazing place. Honestly the best pasta I have ever tasted in an Italian restaurant. It’s got such a nice family vibe as well. Nothing pretentious about it, just very good food and lovely staff.

The most lovely traditional Italian restaurant. The food was great. All that was missing was candles in Chianti bottles! Fantastic place!

Embarrassed to admit that I ate here three nights running, a short walk from the apartment I rented on Rye Lane. What can I say, the food's great, whether you choose the fish or the pasta, the staff are friendly and the vibe is always busy.

We had a lovely dinner at Il Giardino. My sis and I went at opening time to avoid the crowds. The waiter was friendly and the upstairs seating area was lovely. All of the courses were tasty and beautifully presented. We will definitely go back when possible.

Old school, uncomplicated Italian family restaurant with friendly staff. Pasta was nothing special, it’s not fresh pasta but it was fine. However the tiramisu was excellent, almost as good as I make it at home with lashings of coffee and liqueur and not too much cream, great flavour.

Lovely atmosphere, nice staff, the starters were great, the only thing that lets the restraunt down is the pasta, it’s good and simple but not great, fresh pasta might have been better. But I would definitely go again, just for the lovely vibe

Food is fantastic and portions are generous. Staff is great, perfect place for a little date but music was questionable at times but can’t really fault it to be honest. The garlic bread was… garlicky. So go ahead and order some you won’t be disappointed!

I’m giving this 3 stars because the staff are nice, it’s cheap and it’s still going 30 years after my first visit. My pizza may have been made on site but London’s pizza has moved on and this isn’t it. The dough is probably a same day job and the pasta wasn’t freshly made. Tomato sauce was raw in a tarte way in both meals. Was rammed when we were there though so what do I know. Decent house red.

Would not recommend. This is not a family run place - they describe it as ‘family style’ - and it is not at all authentically Italian. Most of the pastas are made with cream and the staff (none in front of house or kitchen obviously Italian) didn’t understand us ordering pasta as a primi followed by fish as secondi and brought all our food at once. It had also taken almost 30 minutes to get a drink. Our bill came to £100 (with only one of us drinking and no desserts) so wouldn’t even fall under the cheap and cheerful category. There are many better options in Peckham to choose from.

Dreadful service. Great food (when it finally arrived). Our waitress spoke such broken English for her and us to actually communicate was a chore. Consequently the experience was a trial. We ended up with one tiny dish of veg to share (about one potato and a spoonful of spinach) between two main dishes because of her recommendation despite questioning the choice. We waited for over half an hour between finishing starter and main course arriving. When I had the audacity to query why we were waiting so long I was shown the bill and told "there are lots of people to serve, it's not just you" I didn't really find this very friendly or helpful. However, all this said the food was actually lovely. But was it worth putting up with the unprofessional and unhelpful service for? No. Not at all.

Horrible and cold breakfast for the price you pay in a good and delicious breakfast some where else . Will never come back . Simply ripoff . Want to waste your money go there .
