First time here this past Saturday and again on Sunday. I thought it was really good. Food atmosphere and Service were all fantastic. High-quality Italian dishes and a fair price. The BYOB helps. Nice job guys. We will be back.

Definitely a great additionto downtown Montclair! We ate outside and we could not have been more pleased. The pizzas were nicely sized and the helpful friendly waitstaff really made everything fantastic. Perfect if you have any dietary restrictions.

Best Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever had! The baked mozzarella wrapped with prosciutto wasn’t up my alley, but that pizza and the gnocchi with pesto cream sauce was too damn good to knock them down! AWESOME pizza!

We ordered their signature pizza but was not a fan because it was really thin, soggy and top heavy with cherry tomatoes making it difficult to hold. It also had too many burnt parts for me on the crust. There were so many different food options. We'll have to try a different pizza and their other food. The egg roll appetizer was really good. Service was really friendly.

I have been meaning to try this place for more than 10 years. I am happy they are still in business. The pizza was about as good as it gets. The crust was wonderful. It was crispy outside and chewy inside. I had the gorgonzola cheese and fig pizza with prosciutto and balsamic reduction. I asked for artichoke hearts and baby arugula to be added. A wonderful pie! The appetizers were very good as well. I will return!

The pizza was exceptional. We order the Margarita and The Ah Pizza. Definitely some of the top pizza I have. The guy making the pizza was in a flow state and was working hard and fast, but made some great pizza. The service was average and not over the top. The atmosphere was also average. The place has a calm vibe to it. The decor is relaxed and chill. The food I must say was exceptional. Next time I’d love to try the other pizzas. We also had the lasagna which was great. But the pizza was slamming. I like that they had the glass separators in between the tables also. I’d go back.

The fried zucchini flowers are actually very good! The calamari was just calamari nothing crazy. But the sauce is delicious. My dish of gnocchi and pesto was ok as well. The sauce was very watery and missing some flavor. My boyfriend's dish cavatelli he said was delicious. Service was nice and quick. Even at the hour we went which was a good busy.

We stumbled upon this place while walking around Montclair. The place was peaceful and the staff were friendly. We ordered a sandwich platter and a pizza pie. The sandwich was decent, however the pizza wasn’t good. The pizza was very burnt(you could see how charred it was on the bottom) and the cheese proportions were uneven. I couldn’t taste much of the flavor from how smoky it was from being overcooked. Overall it was an eh experience. Not sure if I would go back.

There’s great Italian and pizza joints in Northern NJ and Montclair but unfortunately, this place isn’t one of them. This is my second time at Ah Pizz & I’m not sure why I went back. Let’s start with the service: there was hardly anyone in the restaurant yet it took for-ev-er to get food. I will say: waiter was very nice. The food: Step above Pizza Hut. Caesar salad dressing tastes jarred, bucatini with clams was swimming in a gallon of flavorless broth either maybe 4 clams. Pizzas arrived late and they were “ok”. Marinara tastes like it came from a can- nothing special. Wood cooked crust was tasty but too floppy. Cheese was meh. There are so many solid Pizza joints- I’m not sure how or why people like this so much.

For $17 you’d expect a margarita pizza to have fresh basil, like they said. This was so lame.

Should have read the reviews before dining. From the gross, cold and sour food to the borderline racism, all was true. But I’ve never been more disrespected like this before by any server. I did not tip because it’s my right to not tip based on quality and service. YOU ARE NOT entitled to a single cent. The server he chased me down the street to literally scream like I owed him money. Screaming “how am I supposed to pay my rent” Sir you are on the public sidewalk and not on private property. He extremely lucky because it would ended poorly for him if he had gotten in my personal space. Disgusting food and service. If you’re the owner, shame on you and your staff and get a better microwave.

Worst place. We ordered pizza and pasta . Pasta was cold and the chicken that came with it tasted like it was microwaved. And the pizza we ordered it was 3 different mini pizza set all of them tasted bad. It was sour… After we paid and left without tipping .The server who served us calls us outside of the restaurant screaming saying yo no tips for me? Like why? Why would we tip when we didn’t even got a good service or good food. Why? And when my bf said the food was disappointed he said (IS THAT MY FAULT)? Like is that the answer you want from a person who serves you food.??? Its shameful to ask someone for tip when you didn’t even gave us a nice service and on the side to say is that my fault the food is bad…

Ordered for delivery. Four meals was cooked in 7 minutes? Is that even possble? The canlzone was cold and the cheese was not melted and sausage tasted old. I called the restaurant and spoke with a young lady who was rude and hung up on me. She refused to acknowledge my dissatisfaction and was not apologetic. She said the owner will call me. Lets see. Very unprofessional.

Poor Customer Service on Labor Day! This past Monday, on Labor Day around 12:30 p.m., my wife, my daughter, and I visited your restaurant hoping to enjoy something different. Unfortunately, what we encountered was appalling and blatantly disrespectful customer service. One of the servers, who appeared to be Latina, treated us in an unfriendly and unhelpful manner. It almost seemed as though she wanted to say, “I don’t want to serve you,” and her behavior suggested she was doing us a favor or that we were somehow unworthy of being there. The irony of this situation is that my family and I are also LATINOS, so this is not an issue of prejudice on our part. Nonetheless, we felt discriminated against, and it was extremely unpleasant to experience such mistreatment—especially from someone who did not present themselves in a professional manner. I apologize if this sounds harsh, but it is the truth. Serving others is an art, and not everyone is suited for it. However, mistreating others can be done by anyone, and this situation made that very clear. I was left disappointed that I could not even review the food, which looked promising, because I will not return after such an unpleasant interaction. In the restaurant business, customer service must go hand in hand with good food—both need to be of equal quality for the experience to succeed.

Today I ordered a pear salad, a seafood salad and an Italian sub and it was delivery. The arugula in both salads was wilted and the goat cheese was not the color white and it was just plopped on the salad. Very unappealing and disappointing. The calamari was like chewing rubber and where was the scungelli? And the chips that came with the sandwich were stale. A big disappointment and a waste of a lot of money.
