Went through the drive-thru. They let us know right away that someone before us had ordered big, and they had limited food that would be prepared quickly and had no thighs. We were traveling and appreciated the heads up. The food we ordered was hot and fresh, and the order was accurate.

This was my 2nd visit to a Golden Chick. I was pleasantly surprised at my meal. Very consistent with the 1st visit in Dallas, TX area. I'll be visiting them again soon.

Fast and friendly food. Service staff was friendly and helpful. The woman helping us really made the experience for us. Food was pretty good, chicken was how it should be. Sides were good as well. The only thing I would suggest is a cleaner bathroom. The store is right off the highway, one of the main draws of coming here is to take a break from driving.

We stopped at the Golden Chick on our drive back to Lubbock for lunch. The dining room was clean that the staff was very friendly. We ordered out food and in no time at all, it was ready for us to eat. The food was very tasty and hot. We noticed that that had free self serve ice cream if you were dining in. As I was sitting at the table eating, I notice the "Golden Chick" egg machine and decided to try it. I do have to say that I was a bit disappointing when it took my money and never gave me the egg so I tried it again with the same results. I guess I will just skit the vending machine next time. We will be back on our next trip through town.

Don't think the workers know what month it is...very disappointing getting stuff that's expired. We ordered a Taco Salad and I ate a chip before adding to my salad and it was horribly stale and disgusting. Much to mybmyb surprise, they expired August 16, 2024.

Very friendly staff. Well staffed - no delays (or errors) with orders. Restrooms need a lot of repairs.

Took longer than any other Wendy's I've ever been to. Even managers were in snail mode it's not wonder they had an employee walking around aimlessly in the kitchen. The counter guy was friendly and took time making sure every lid was ALL THE WAY on. A man ordered fries after 10+ mins left and said forget it. Food (Biggie meals) was barely warm all of it. Thankfully we were just passing thru cuz if that was my town I'd prob avoid going there which sux cuz I love Wendy's and don't have one within an hour of where I live.

The fries are ahhhhhmazing. Perfectly salted and just delicious. The chick is really good too. The beef is very bland. I’m not sure what it is but is just seems like it has not flavor at all.

Stopped through drive thru while headed to Lubbock. Burgers were good but the fries tastes like they were old or redipped in the frier. Sad I did not notice until we were back on the road.

We travel from Arizona to Oklahoma and then back again often. Usually we stop in Sweetwater to sleep and always see this place. Tonight we stopped for a bite, finally, after 4 years of passing it. I wanted to love it. The breading on the chicken is delicious. The pickles are fantastic. The fries are crispy. But, because we did not get fresh food, it fell very short. I ordered the pimento sandwich and it had so much potential. The flavor was there, I just had a difficult time getting past my bottom bun being quite stiff, my breading being barely luke warm and my chicken being rubbery. My husband ordered a 3 strip combo and it was a really good flavor, but again, barely like warm. The okra was clearly sitting from an old batch and could have used some more salt. The roll was absolutely delicious. Our daughter raved about the fries so I tried one and it was about the only fresh thing we got. It needed some salt, but it was nice and crispy. Good service, but the food is greatly lacking freshness. Maybe we'll try again on another trip.

Visited on a Monday afternoon. Evidently, they are still in the process of either renovating or moving into this location. There were boxes sitting around, TV's that needed to be put up. Saw 1 gentleman going around putting up pictures, adjusting lights, etc. Staff was friendly and building was fairly clean. They were out of Fish, but the chicken/gravy was good. Noticed they offered free ice cream cone for Dine in orders - sign on the ice cream machine said to get cone from counter and to not use cups. Well, the ice cream was actually more like ice milk, very thin/runny and really needed to be in a cup and not in a cone.

Worker was confused with the menu. Took several minutes for her to understand what I wanted. (Was a simple biggie bag) still got my order wrong. No sweet tea anymore.

Per usual, the food tasted great. However, we stopped in for a quick stop that was altogether not quick. There were a total of 3 customers in the lobby all sitting around waiting on their food. It took over 30 minutes from arrival to receive our food. There was absolutely no desire to move quickly from any of the staff members. I’m a patient person but it shouldn’t take this long at a “fast food” joint.

I tried to be friendly to lighting the mood at speaker, & at window to help the transaction go well. She was to busy talking to other coworkers to pay attention to what she was doing! A little rude if you asked me. I asked her if I could return a straw since she gave me two. Since she couldn't take, & throw away a Dr pepper can, then she wanted to argue that she only gave me one, when clearly I was hold two of them! Did not give me a receipt from the card transaction, Tried to call the phone three time, No one would answer( so I could find out the price of my purchase ( I WILL BE WATCHING TO SEE WHAT I WAS CHARGED ) The food was over priced, & was crap the Burger, Fries, & Dr Pepper all Sucked! I will, Yeah to say the least I will never visit this place again!! Everything was crap Service, Food, Drink, No Receipt, Why have a Phone???

The wicked spicy sandwich was perfect, but my fries were inedible and obviously forgotten in the fryer. They tasted old, were hard and were dripping grease before i even took a bite to mostly taste grease. The okra was also so overcooked it broke into pieces when i tried to eat it and was hard like the fries

So this location has some very serious management issues. If I was an employee, I would currently be searching for a new position. The Associate quickly informed us that they currently were very limited in available foods. So we decided to stay and choose from what they had in stock. They said the truck was late. But that does not explain 5 light out, children's arcade out of order, sound issu6on the tv's, water will not turn off in ladies restroom and crooked paper towel holder or drink out of order or ice cream machine out of order. The food they had was good but if you want a particular item they may not have it. And the Associates are giggling and acting unprofessional in the back of the store.

The first I see when I pull up - trash all over the parking lot. Once I come inside I see trash on the tables. One employee is sitting down eating while working. The bathroom stalls don’t lock ( had to hold it while peeing ). The hand sink needs repairs as it’s barely working and has mildew build up. No paper towels anywhere to dry my hands. No air dryer either. No soap. .. the employees had no gloves and no hair nets. Food was not fresh by any means.

Worst Wendy's I've ever been to. Dropped a baked potato on the floor and didn't replace it. Bad food. Bad management. Someone dropped a drink on the floor while I was eating. It took them 10 minutes to start cleaning it. Waited for 5 minutes at the counter for sauce. Nasty.

Stopped here on a road trip to Lubbock — my son loved his chicken sandwich so much on day one that he came back the very next day on our return back home. Big mistake. Day two, he bites into what turns out to be a raw chicken sandwich. When he showed it to the staff, the manager casually said there “must be a defect with the chicken.” 🤦‍♀️ Pretty unbelievable. Serving raw chicken isn’t just “a defect,” it’s a major health hazard — and that kind of shrug-it-off response is unacceptable.

I ordered several items from the menu. Strawberry frosty thing being one of the items. When it was received it was completely melted. If i had wanted a strawberry quik, I would have spent less money and went next door to Walmart. I will NOT eat this stuff again.

Just don't come here...the owner and workers don't care. The fries were old and you could taste the oil was oil as well. They had no ice for drinks. The bathroom was in bad need of repairs.

The staff are rude, they kept trying to tell me what I wanted to order and tried to overcharge me for items I did not want. The chili tasted like they had poured in a whole bottle of counter cleaner into it.

We where on a 6 hour trip so we decided to stop for lunch. Simple right? No. When we went to order the staff was rude. Asked for a Dave's single, Specifically said No mustard, no mayo, no pickles. And you know what happened. they put It on there. Plus the ice cream was melted. Disappointed.

Went through the drive thru and waited forever and nobody came on. Drove to the window and still nobody came. I literally went inside and said I was at the drive thru forever. She said WE ARE BUSY! Never in my life have I heard that as an excuse! Food was great but customer service is TERRIBLE

Went through the drive thru. Ordered a 4 piece roasted meal. The line took so long 3 vehicles pulled out of the line and left. I finally get my order, I go to eat, no utencil for my side (green beans that tasted old). The chicken wasn't good, the breast was SO dried out, skin was black (which they flipped over so I wouldn't see it until I went to eat it) and to top it off, there was a bug (it looked like a gnat, had wings) underneath my roll. I was beyond done, I didn't call to complain, i just will NEVER return.

Ice machine down. Out of Mac n cheese & fries. It’s 8:45 pm. I’ve never seen more “out” signs in a restaurant than here. They are everywhere. Dinning room all closed except the booths. People that aren’t even employees in the back. Not using gloves. This is the employees chill spot and you can tell everybody in the back congregating. I received my food and the gravy is all water with no taste. My mash potatoes were fresh. Only thing I was happy with.

Waited well over 20 minutes in the drive through line. Finally got to the window to realize "golden chick" changed their uniform??? Mind you this girl is behind the counter. They were so unorganized. I said a small cup of gravy they gave me a family size. I only ordered a LG fry no chicken. What did you think I was going to drink it???
