Food was good and fast. Very friendly staff. The beans were very good. Chips and hot sauce are really good. I like that they did not skimp on the guacamole. I will be a regular.

Grest service, great food. If you want the best chicken fried steak in town, this is the place.

To start this off, The food is excellent, so scrumptious. The service by Shely is very very hard to find these days as she is prompt, fast and super friendly. The cleanliness of the restaurant is superb. I've attached some pictures. Yes I did take a bite out of my burrito before taking a picture. Sorry. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. I WILL BE RETURNING IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Every time me and my husband visit, we love everything we get, the food never disappoints in flavor. They have a welcoming staff who are personable and friendly. This is one of our favorite spots in town.

I ordered fajita nachos. Got home it was chicken!!!!!nasty just nasty, old taste. Took them back I saw the owner digging through the food, I ask him well is it chicken, he replied I don’t know not any there!!!! (Like I had eaten the nasty crap… one bite did it for me. He acted like I had lied to him!!!!! I WONT BE BACK.

Very friendly establishment, menu on the smaller side mostly advertisements in the menu. However, the food was pretty good. Have a chicken fajitas guacamole needed more spices and seasonings.

The rice is WONDERFUL. My beef enchilada was NOT hot, you could feed it to a baby. Salsa was good to me because it was room temperature AND wasn't too spicy hot. Friendly staff. I would come back for the rice...

Stopped in for lunch on the way to Ft Davis. Super nice people. Decent queso. I had the #1, and couldn’t finish it. Hubby had 3 tacos ala carte, which he liked. Daughter had fajita nachos, no veggies except lettuce. She thought they were okay.

Stopped in after a day of dove hunting. Tired and hungry. We were a party of 6 and quickly settled in. Food was good and with very decent prices. Will return for another visit if the opportunity presents itself.

Small but not shabby. I had a good lunch. 👍 had beef fajita nachos ..wish there had been less lettuce and maybe melted graded cheese instead of there queso which was BOMB but I had already ordered it as app. All in all its was quite 🧀 haha

Rather lackluster food. The food was not appetizing and was not very flavorful. It was essentially Americanized Mexican food. The only thing keeping it from being fully American was the names of plates and overall ingredients The rest of menu probably is fine since there were a lot of American options/ dishes. The service is good. I will give them that.

My family was coming into Sweetwater came here to stretch our legs and grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately at the time of our dining their coke machine was out of order, but overall the food was good and our service was amazing. We would come back if we stopped in again

Customer service was not good at all . They took our order, gave us our chips, and dipped . our food was brought out to the table, and they never came back to ask if we needed anything else. First and last time for me.

Service was great, as we were the only ones there at 2:30. It was my teenage daughter and I, we stopped to share an order of nachos, I ordered nachos, they brought 2 orders out. I didnt argue, as I wasnt in the mood, just ate and left. My mother always told the waiter when an order was to be shared, probably my fault. The salsa had good flavor and was fresh. The nachos were bland, I asked my daughter what she thought? She said, "tasted like something they would serve a school". Yep, pretty bland! But the staff was nice and the place was clean.

A year ago I gave the place 4 stars. Two days ago I ordered several items there to eat in restaurant and take home. The price was significantly higher. I inquired and was told some of the prices were higher now but they had not yet changed the prices on the menu. ??? What the heck? So I had to pay the prices that were falsely advertised. I will not return for a long time to this place after being a regular customer before. See my review from year ago.

Service was great. All the food we got was bland, no flavor. The salsa was the only thing that actually had any flavor. Husband got the menudo, I got cheese enchiladas with rice. I couldn't even eat the rice as it tasted so bland.

Friendly, but not the best. I can tell all of the plates that we order were put in the microwave because of the way the food taste. So the food is not fresh for what you pay.

This used to be the spot for Mexican food. They stopped cooking homemade rice all together. I was really upset to find boxed Spanish rice on my plate today. That really took me back for a second, definitely won’t visit again after that discovery. So disappointed.

Watched the staff bully and disrespect the new young waitress. She left crying, I gave her a ride home and encouraged her not to give up. I was a waitress over 40yr's,I called The Establishment back and told them that they needed to be ashamed of themselves it was disgusting to watch And they needed to be embarrassed and ashamed. I would have given no stars if that had been a choice but there wasn't, and still be able to write my Opinion.

I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED !!! This is not Mexican food it is tex mex for people who like bland foods!! Rice tastes like tomato paste enchiladas are not good at all no flavor and service was great only one waitress The other was rude ! Up charges on everything!! Will not be returning or recommending any one of my friends or family to the restaurant!

Chicken in the quesadilla wasn’t fully cooked . Didnt give us another burrito after they messed up first one . We found a loogie in our ranch . Chips were cold and there was something in the burrito . Bad customer service and they didn’t refill our drinks and caso . Not the best place to eat when you feel like eating something good .

They don’t get orders right they don’t come and do refills you have to go up there and tell them that you need one

Worst chili rellenos I ever ate. Or pretty much didn't eat. The things looked like prepackaged ready made stuff. Reminded me of underfed corn dogs without the sticks. Just plumb awful. Rice was strange and bland. Refried beans practically tasteless. Guiso burrito pretty much tasted like pot roast. Help friendly and attentive. Fouled up my order and made amends by charging me half price. That was good so that I didn't have to embarrass them and ask for a discount due to the terrible food. Why this place gets high marks from people is totally beyond me.

My son and I chose to stop in sweetwater for some Mexican food on our way home from an out of town trip. While we were there the owner and what I assume to be maybe a manager decided to publicly berate an extremely young employee like she was complete garbage (evidently over some recent call ins from multiple employees as well as a few no call no shows from other employees. I don’t blame them!!). We were 2 tables away from this exchange and it was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable for my son and I.The food was bland and sloppy! My sons fajitas resembled sautéed tire rubber and were disgusting. The melted velveeta queso was the only thing that was mildly palatable. If the problematic and angry owner or manager read this I strongly urge you to seek counseling and get some new recipes for your restaurant.

Today was a disappointment to say the least ordered over 50 dollars in food and the best thing served to us was a club sandwich. The beef fajita tasted past due and bitter. Told wattress of the issue and said another client complained about the meat... I would think this would raise a flag for any business owner, but just brushed off like another client just stopping to eat. Won't recommend or be back.

Be careful they upcharge your bill without telling you. This is stealing. In order to prevent them stealing your money be sure you ask does this cost me extra.

Also ordered cheese fries with meat that they charged me over $4 and I got a small container filled to barely halfway. Last time I will waste my money there.

We ordered enchiladas,Chili Rellenos and carne asada. The enchiladas were fine the asada was decent. The chili rellenos however were garbage. The rice wasn’t done. I don’t ever pay attention to the rice. My mom wouldn’t eat Mexican food for the rest of our trip. Don’t ever try to take a wheelchair in here!! I was so disappointed in these people that when the lady asked if I wanted a receipt, I told her no, I’m just gonna try to forget that this ever happened.

I ask for a refill when she returns and she brings it back and spills it all over me then brings the dish bucket and a rag for me to clean myself off meanwhile the table. That was her mess to clean. We ask for additional napkins she brings us back 2. 1 per person. We ask for 2 plates to go. She only had us down for 1. My mom asked for a large cup she gives her a small. She never came and asked if we needed anything just 1 time. She was sitting at the other table eating her food the entire time. Sylvia seen her spill this drink and said nothing. My parents have known them for years. I couldn’t believe how poor the service was. I will definitely NOT return anymore. Cater to your customers before you do so to yourself.
