You're hours online said you were closed. I called and yall said you were open around 9:30. This was the BEST SANDWICH I have had in long time even at closing time , I was treated with kindness .

My family usually visit this place altogether, and they handle my large family really well. Food comes out fast. People are friendly. But the kicker, is the gluten-free bread. Rare to find and always welcome to my gluten-sensitive family.

So so good! Definitely meets West Texas standards of a great chicken fried steak. I also liked that we could order an individual order of onion rings. Salad, onion rings and CFS were all fresh. Totally recommend. Waitresses were super friendly.

Outstanding customer service! I am very pleased to write a review of this particular Schlotzsky's location. Through a series of events, we ended up needing a refund for a portion of our meal. The owner of the store went to great lengths to make sure the refund went through; even calling me to make sure everything was taken care of.

Amazing sandwiches on a delicious sourdough. Definitely worth a try. Soup and Mac and cheese were both still cold- room temperature.

Not sure if I'm spelling her name right but i got the pleasure of meeting Cierra at the Sweetwater location, she was very polite and after I ordered there was nobody else in line to order, she quickly grabbed a broom and started sweeping, then she started emptying trash cans and even took all the bags outside while all of her work colleagues could just be heard laughing from the back doing no telling back there, but Cierra stayed working the entire time I was in the store, and she never stopped, I took the time to ask her name and let her know she was doing a fantastic job and for her to keep it up, and it will get her far! just felt like the world should know 👍 and we need more people in this world like Cierra!!

The food was great. It's always good when we stop here on our travels. I even placed an order through the app to take some food to go as we will be stopping and resting tonight. My only suggestion would be to sweep the floors a bit more frequently in the dining room and bathroom.

We've been to this location twice, driving through. Each time, it was very busy, but it was also very well organized, and the food came out very quickly. The quality of the food and service were both top notch, and the owner (I believe his name is Steve since he made a comment about that being a good name) was appropriately engaging and friendly to interact with.

Stopping at this location is common on our way to and from out of town. The wait is usually long and the spacing between stations is tight. However, the staff is super friendly and worth the wait. My recent experience made me want to come leave a review. When I finished ordering, I was looking for a place to fill up with their hot sauce to eat our food on the road. I saw that they only had small packages of a different hot sauce from their original Schlotzsky’s “moderately hellacious Louisiana-style hot sauce.” I expressed annoyance verbally to my mother who was with me, however, I was going to accept the packaged as my fate. To my surprise (especially with my petty attitude) the manager came and brought me a small cute bottle of their hot sauce and told me to keep it! What a wonderful business. They are great location and I appreciate the kindness they give their customers through their high-stress environment and busy schedule!

The food was delicious! The staff was not rude, but not friendly either. They really seemed like they didn't want this job at all. We did not get greeted or barely spoken to. They were too busy talking about whether they went to graduation. (Memorial Day 2016)

Best Schlotzsky's I've had in Sweetwater in a while. I had stopped going for a long time, then randomly decided to roll the dice this evening and I'm really glad I did. My wife really enjoyed hers, as well.

Went through the drive through. I got pizza wife got a sandwich. It took I while but I expected that. The people in front of us drove off without their order after waiting a while. Food was good service could have been better

The original sandwich that I ordered was scampy. Felt like the sandwich could have been made better.

We stopped here for lunch on a work trip. There was an issue with the computer system and we didn't have time to wait. We weren't upset, but we were going to leave just to get something to eat before our next appointment. The wonderful ladies working told us they'd "take care" of us and took our orders by hand and then provided our food free of charge. Not necessary, but completely appreciated. The food was good, too. Would definitely eat here again, even if I had to pay. I think the only ding would be the cleanliness. We got here shortly after lunch, so I'm sure they just hadn't caught up, but the garbage cans were full and most of the tables were dirty. That said, it didn't really detract from the overall experience.

Staff is friendly and personable. Didn't make our order to menu specifics. But were quick to replace and make up for mistake, when brought to their attention. Could use a little more attention to the cleaning of dining area. Was not bad but also did not see the tables get wiped down during my visit and many had crumbs from previous guests. Still I would not hesitate to visit again.

They were a bit overwhelmed by eclipse traffic when we went and were out of roast beef. But most other items on the menu were good. Pizzas just okay, but sandwiches and flatbread items very good

Friendly. Only knock this visit: seems as if only 1 person running whole place. (But know there were at least 3 employees due to seeing 2 in sandwich window & 1 manager/leader/cashier.) Took longer than couple minutes just to order. Dining room was not clean nor organized. (Totally out of norm.) Only few tables were clean. Only 2-3 tables occupied. Therefore not that busy. Maybe a total of 8-10 customers. Still recommended though. Food was delivered quick.

Good food. Slow service. BUT, they still serve the Reuben, which is no longer on the menu!!! Longtime customers can appreciate this.

Hit the drive thru on my way to Abilene. Nice change from greasy fries and burgers. Can't wait to try their cinnamon rolls.

This was the worst Original I've had. The bread wasn't even good. Which is weird because the chain itself is very consistent but not this time.

Place was lacking in every aspect. I felt bad for the people working there as it appeared that they were just getting further and further in the weeds as more and more people were being frustrated. I am sorry to the employees for having such an awful place of work causing such a stressful environment. I can't believe the people owning the place and running it can't see why nobody wants to work there. For the sake of those workers and yourself, I would just eat elsewhere.

Food was good. There was not a lot of Emphasis on "quickly getting the food out". The manager was outside having a smoke, when I went in and ordered and 10 minutes Later was still there. I know everyone needs a break, but if you see your customers waiting for the food that they already paid for, perhaps putting out your smoke and helping the lone worker behind the counter get the food out should become a priority.? I dunno maybe I'm reaching here??

Ordered food food was good. This is where it gets interesting. Every table was dirty as well as the floor. We had to clean a table to sit. Both trash cans was next to the exit door was over full. While we was waiting for food a couple people walked in looked around and left. If it was super busy I could get it but it really wasn't busy.

Was here on 12/29/22 around 10:45 am. There was no one at the drive through. Pulled up and waited 10 minutes. Got out instead and ordered. They had me waiting 15 minutes for my order until I finally asked for the status of it. It was sitting off to the side. No apology. Horrible Customer service.

I waited at the register for a while before anyone acknowledged me and then the lady acted like she was put out by taking my order. Dirty tables, dirty floors, and minus another star for not taking Amex.

This location was VERY busy when we arrived and got even busier while we were there. The food was good, a little less meat and veggies in the sandwich than I was expecting. Service was nothing special, and took over 30 minutes to get our food. The soda machine did not have any ice. The restroom had tiny stalls, I am 5'4 and my knees almost touch the door, but even more strange than that, there was no way to dry your hands after washing them. There was no hand drier and no paper towel dispenser anywhere. We ended up grabbing a few napkins to dry our hands once we got to the dining area.

I haven't been to a Schlotzsky's in a long time, and thought it would be a nice change of pace. I left this place quite disappointed. The restaurant was dingy, felt dirty (especially the restroom), and the French Dip sandwich I ordered just plain wasn't all that good. The bread was dry and the meat overdone, but the au jus was completely inedible. It seemed to have been overcooked so long that the flavor was not appealing, like burned coffee. Maybe I'll try Schlotzsky's again sometime, but I doubt it'll be at this location.

Busy place at lunch but the food was delivered quickly. The jalapeño bread on the small fiesta chicken sandwich was very very dry and lacked any flavor almost as if ingredients were forgotten and although we were told there would not be an up charge for Mac and cheese instead of chips they did in fact charge an extra $3

It's been years, but the food was pretty consistent with my previous experience. Good sandwiches, and they've added flat breads and such. Disappointingly, they were out of all the beef, which eliminated many of the options we came in for. The poor staff were pretty swamped for lunch so it took quite a while to get food. They said they were understaffed today. The place was clean and food came out hot.

I've been eating at Schlotsky's since it was born in the 1970s. Unique, quality sandwiches on fresh baked bread is its calling card. My husband loves the original, and I had a really good Cobb salad. The food didn't disappoint. However, the restaurant wasn't very clean- smears and smudges everywhere I looked. And the bathrooms were not clean. The sink was disgusting. I always feel if a restaurant isn't fastidious in keeping clean the areas the customer sees and uses, the kitchen probably isn't much better. Management needs to make cleanliness a priority. Not sure we'll be back.

It's okay. Nothing to write home about. Tables were dirty and they were busy when we went. You have to pick up your order when they call your number, but still give you the number for your table. It's confusing. The fruit cup was not the same as on the advertised picture.

I have always love Schlotzsky's, however today was not that day. The guy taking my order was mumbling and had a soft voice so it was hard to understand him. My order was missing corn, chicken, cheese, black beans and dressing for my southwest salad. A few people came back to the counter to get their order fixed. When I was eating my sandwich I had plastic in with my lettuce. Not cool man 🤨😠. Management needs to be present and really watch employees. Maybe retouch on making menu items again! My opinion only for this one experience.

How sad. We used to love coming to this Schlotzky's as part of our family holiday travel traditions but things have definitely changed. The staff used to greet us with friendly smiles when we entered but no more. We stood at the register for several minutes and one staff member finally saw us and went to get someone else to take our order. The girl who came to the register simply stood there and never said a word. The bathroom was the filthiest one I'de seen on our 16 hour drive which is saying a lot about how bad it was. When our food was ready we looked in the bag and the soup we ordered was on its side with the lid not completely closed. We are sad to no longer see this business taking pride in their store and enjoying their work. I doubt we'll ever be back. 😢

Disappointing. Service very slow. Tables needed cleaning. Almost no ice available, tea running out but they refused to make more (>hour &quarter to closing). No napkins in dispensers. Soda machine was out of many flavors. All orders packed to go, they didn't ask.

Had to build my own sandwich with the mess they gave me in a box, I think 20% of the weight in the box was the heavy amount of mustard that dumped all over the sandwich. My meal was $23 I feel like I should get at least something that resembles the menu.

I have been to this restaurant many, many times over the years. It has always been good. Unfortunately today it took almost 40 minutes to receive our order. That delay caused my daughter to miss a meeting for her work. Clearly there was a break down in communication, training to handle a rush, or something. I am hopeful that this will not he a problem again in the future.

Not great. Kinda dirty place and uncomfortable. The staff seemed to be irritated. They kept coming out from behind the counter while my food was being made and starting at the TV for a minute or so before going back to making the food. It was a little strange. Also, I got hella sick after eating here. Schlotzsky’s has nosedived in quality the last few years. This was likely my last time. It used to be Lotz better.

We usually live Schlotzky's, but we had a terrible experience here. My daughter ordered a turkey sandwich, and asked for mayo and mustard added. She received bread with turkey and ONLY mustard and mayo (they took everything else off). We also ordered baked soup and paid for it, but when they brought us our order it had no soup. Only after asking, they explained they didn't have that kind of soup. Why did we have to ask, when we had paid for it? Were they just found to let us walk out without soup that we paid for? It appeared so. Beyond that, the bread was soggy. Overall, not a great experience, especially for a place we've always favored.

Food was subpar compared to most Schlotskys I have been to. The place was absolutely filthy. Bathrooms. Tables. Counters. It was 11am. It looked like they hadn’t cleaned it in a month. I will never be back to this location.

We have stopped through twice now when traveling. We stopped yesterday to eat a late lunch. 2 out of 3 orders were incorrect. The place was dirty, unattended kids yelling in the back, and just an unpleasant experience overall. We gave it a second chance because we have always had a decent experience with Schlotzsky's chains. We won't be back.

When I arrived, I stood at the cash register for almost 5 minutes as a group of employees ignored me so that they could gossip loudly about another employee. After making we contact with me, the continued their conversation and totally ignored me. Awful customer service from a restaurant that usually delivers quality service and food.

We ordered two fresh veggie sandwiches. Basically a Mayo and bread sandwich. It had more onion than lettuce. I found one slice of may have been a cucumber. Great idea but terrible execution of a sandwich. We will not be stopping at this particular location again. $17 for two sandwiches and a bottle of water. This would have been acceptable if they had actually put veggies (like they do meat) on the sandwich.

I was extremely disappointed with this location. I arrived at about 7:30pm, with a posted closing time of 10pm, and dined in. (Google maps info said closing time was 9pm.) The Cinnabon case was empty. There was only enough tea for two glasses, and the employee outright said that they weren't going to brew any more. The Coca-Cola Freestyle machine looked like about half of the flavors had run out. There was 1/4 of a cup of ice available, and no effort to refill it for the entirety of my meal there. All the customer-facing napkin dispensers were empty, and none were provided with the meal. (I did later manage to get some handed to me from somewhere behind the counter.) Given this level of quality in all the things I could see, I worry about how they handled things the customers can't see. I won't be going back.

Schlotzsky’s is a discrace and their service is terrible!! I can not even begin to describe how disappointed I am in then. They have never let me down this badly and now our relationship will never be the same. I am so hurt by their treatment towards me. Went to the Schlotzsky’s out in sweet water after traveling for 4 hours, my large family hungry and tired ordered our food and they forgot our entire order. We had been waiting patiently for 30 minutes until we said something. This is utterly disgraceful and they deserve NO stars at all but I have to at least put one. I will however still eat here but I just wanted to complain 😌

Longest wait I've ever experienced at the drive window. We go there because we love the original sandwich so much. We give the food 5stars;but the service today less than 1star.

Paid $30 for two meals. Staff wouldn’t let me order the pick 2 deal that was advertised on the menu because a manager had to approve my purchase… settled on a small ham and cheese sand with mustard and loaded bp soup received dry sandwich no mustard and broccoli and cheese soup. While here 3other orders were brought back for being incorrect. Deff won’t be back to pricy for sub par food that requires a managers approval.

Forgot about my meal pushed out 3 other peoples meals. No apologies given and employee had attitude giving me my food.

They got the order wrong. No one apologized or tried to fix it. The cashier couldn't even identify the items in the case in front of him. I would be embarassed to manage or own this location. Flies were everywhere. Bathrooms were dirty. We should've just left. It's gone so far downhill since we first ate there. Go somewhere else. Don't waste your time and money here.

Usually this place is good, but today I ordered an Original extra meat no tomatoes and when I got it, it was loaded with tomatoes, the bread had so much mustard it was soggy. I could not even eat the sandwich. Yes I got it through the drive thru and I was well down the road when I realized my sandwich was inedible. 10 buck wasted.

If I could have given 0 stars, I would have. I was passing through on my way home from California. I ordered online and went to pick up. I know what my Schlotzky’s sandwich should be because I get them all the time at home and I love them. The food was cold, the sandwiches were missing ingredients except for the massive amount of onions on mine which I asked to be omitted because they make me sick. Our drinks were not included with the order. I had to ask for them. Our cookies were missing. I had to go back through the drive through to get those. The pizza and the hot sandwich were not just warm, they were ice cold. There were numerous other people in the restaurant also complaining. I normally love Schlotzskys but this experience was awful from beginning to end. I do not recommend.

Went here yesterday. Used the drive through and it didn’t move for 15 minutes. Finally got to the window 20 minutes after I ordered and still had to wait. Spent almost $30 for two of us and still didn’t get all of our order. My sandwich was supposed to be meat and cheese only but it had everything. I cannot eat tomatoes. I called twice only to be hung up on. Third time I spoke to someone who said she was a manager. I was promised a refund to my credit card. Over 24 hours later still no refund. Looking at the comments it seems like this is common. From what I have read this place needs to be shut down. Maybe all of us need to contact corporate.

The food was fine, Schlogzskys is one of my fave places to eat, however not this one. Its full of young workers who don't have much respect for customer care. I pulled up was told to hold one. Only 1 car was in the parking lot in the drive thru. After several mins w no reply I said hello and was then told to order and the total would be at the window. Sat at the window for almost 5 mins before they came and I paid. No one ever came back till they had the sandwich I sat there 25 mins. That was the 2nd time I went to that one and the wait time and customer care seemed very callous. While waiting a red mustang pulled up being very loud 2 young boys got out showed up in the kitchen and talked to the staff a while then finally came out was in the car again, noisy, and after a little while longer my food finally came. I only ordered 1 sandwich. Wont stop at that one again..

We walk in tables and chairs all over the place, tables dirty, cleaned the tables ourself, order got our orginals sandwiches in less than 2 minutes, basically slices of meat just thrown on sandwich no type of dressing. We always stop here when traveling thru. Disappointed.

We were patiently waiting in line to order food when an employee got in our faces about letting her get some work done. She was filling up machine with ice, and the people in front of us in line left because no one was manning the front cash register and they were In a hurry. Never have I seen such poor behavior towards people having to leave due to the location's inability to staff appropriately! Highly suggest shutting down the lobby if you don't have the staff to run it and NOT accosting patiently waiting customers! Didn't end up eating here because of how poorly we were treated because of other people deciding to leave....

Waited for quite some time and staff refused to come take our order. They were in the back talking. My wife asked if they were open and again if anyone was gonna take our order. We just walked out due to fears our food would be spit on or otherwise tampered with. This occurred on 10 june about 6:15pm. Like your food but its no good if employees don't want to do their job

We stopped buy to grab a sandwich on a road trip and there was a lunch rush of 10 people. It took over half an hour to get a single sandwich. There were four employees and each of them look reluctant to be there and moved with no sense of purpose nor did they seem to care that everyone had to wait an exorbitant amount of time for their food. Wont make the mistake of stopping here again.

I was just in there not but 10 minutes ago and the service was the WORST I have ever received. The lady in the front was super sweet which is why this post gets one star AT ALL! BUT THE KITCHEN PEOPLE WERE HORRIBLE!! We sat in there for 40 minutes while everyone who came in after us got served first, but all their orders were messed up. They handed our order out to the WRONG people then had to remake our order then had the audacity to roll their eyes at me. I used to work in fast food and most of the time have a lot of respect for the food industry, but this was horrible. Someone couldn’t pay me to go back here again. It was very clean and lady was very nice up front. It did seem like she was new. If she is, I hope the rest of the employees don’t sour your spirit.

Walked in….walked out. Dirty restaurant, floors and tables. Long line waiting to order. Disgruntled looking people at some of the tables clearly told us they’d been waiting too long. I’d read a similar review from about a month ago but it was easiest access so decided it might be different. I was wrong. I feel generous giving it 1 star, but I don’t have a choice. Do yourself a favor and go across the Hwy to Whataburger. We had hot fresh chicken sandwiches and fries, the restaurant was busy but clean. Including the restroom which had hot running water and plenty of supplies.

Placed my order at 3:03pm the lady Skylar that took my order was nice and the only reason there is 1 star for service. The bathroom was gross, the paper towel roll was just sitting wet on the counter. The ice machine was empty and the tables were dirty. There were at least 4 other people standing around waiting for their order, talking to each other about how they "lost" their order or gave it to someone else. They all finally got their ordersThen they called the order that was behind me in line, so I told the lady maoing the food that I was in front of her and she asked my name, then they all proceeded to scurry around looking for my order. Sent out 3 more orders before mine, then the "manager" (if that's what you want to call her) came out to say their printer was down and they were losing orders. I told her they should probably be writing them down, then she rudely asked me "do you need a refund?" Yelled back to her staff "get this order out ASAP, then walked away talking under her breath. We Finally got our food at 3:40pm. The trash cans were also full and the parking lot was a mess. WORST Schlotzkys Ever!

Just dropped it another star. Ordered a pizza with extra sauce on the side. Got a pizza that was barely cooked with 0 sauce on it. Then they were rude about it when I brought it back. One year from the below post. Not getting better. Usually this place is good. I don't know what happened. The people working were rude, the food was bad and it took over 30 minutes to get my food which was wrong when I got it. I called and they wouldn't even answer the phone. I had to go back and wait another 30 minutes and it was still wrong and you could tell they made it with anger.

Food was mediocre at best. I ordered what I thought was going to have lettuce, tomato and onion and be decently large..... HA! Nope. Both mine and my husband sandwich were both just meat and very little if it. Very disappointed and NOT worth the money we paid. Only one of the employees gave me a half of a smile as well.

The guy at the drive thru window was very rude!!!! Needs to be more professional.

The large blonde kid that made my sandwich was wearing gloves but, he was also eating from the food tins he made my sandwich with…seriously! I thanked him anyway, but all he could muster was “yup”. If you're passing through Sweetwater TX, I highly recommend trying a different restaurant.

They give you a number and then stand at the register and scream the number out. Our puaaz was wrong, and the other one was cold. They manger and cooks were in the back having a great ole laughter day while the cashier was trying to stock and take orders. Not clean at all sure isn’t the same as it was a few years back to be honest it is just gross.

Went through drive through. Wasn't busy at all. Ordered the chicken bacon ranch calzone. Was given this. Didn't get any ranch dip that usually comes with it and one half of the calzone was broken up. I've had this same order from different locations and all were good. Pretty disappointed with this one.
