Don't let the looks fool you this is some amazing food here !!! The tongue and carnitas are absolutely phenomenal
The best carne de Rey tacos 🌮 omg great the best I've had i want to eat there all the time but I can't lol
Delicious food with a family atmosphere. I order de Carnitas plate. (Come with 2 steaks and rice, refrito and salad) My family order the Chicken plate and Shrimp plate everything was great.
Best tacos in Tampa! They don't speak English though, but you can always point. Great service too. Super friendly.
Best Mexican food my fiancé brought me here and I love it! Great service! Really close to USF! And great prices!
Husband and I were craving menudo and found this gem of a food truck about 15mins from us. Total was $49 which averages at about $16.33 per menudo. They were yummy, tortillas were fresh. I called in, but still waited about 5 minutes to receive my food. I’m interested in trying different menu items eventually. I recommend the menudo 👍🏽
Great Mexican food! I love their Salsa Verde. I always order their enchiladas or a burrito de asada. I’ve been coming to this place for several months now and it has not disappointed! It’s not fast food. They make the food when you order it. I love this because I get to see them cooking from the front and I know they’re working hard to make great food! 😋😋
Food was great and very generous portion. But the chips were old, hard and dry.
Very good authentic Mexican food, very nice waiters. The food does take some time to arrive or at least in my case (4-5 people) but it's fresh, well cooked meals. I also really do wish they served sodas in a cup with ice instead of it being a bottle or a can, it would definitely keep it colder for longer. Besides that, it's a fine place.
The tacos and quesadillas were delicious! Their taco sauce is the hottest I've ever had and the heat maintains when you add sour cream. They package the cold taco toppings separately when you order take out which is very considerate. The only thing is they don't have an online menu and there are no paper to go menus so you can plan what to order before you go in. Nevertheless, the food was great and we will definitely be back!
Service here is a little too slow, and food was not that great. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The food was meh and the restaurant was extremely dirty. The people were not friendly at all. The guac was good, but the 6 chips they give you are burnt and hard as concrete. Will not be back.
The complimentary chips they served in the beginning were barely edible, entirely too greasy and soggy. The sauce was watery and my family barely touched them. The entres were a bit better. I had the cheese enchiladas. The green sauce is spicy, and the beans were good, but it was overall very underwhelming. I’m usually the one rooting for hole in the walls which is why this place was so disappointing. The only reason I did not give it one star is because the service was fast and friendly.
The place is dirty and service is terrible. The food isn't good and wouldn't recommend it ever.
I was craving a nice Mexican breakfast and my favorite thing to have is some enchiladas Al Pastor with two over medium eggs, a bowl of Menudo, and a nice cup of coffee. The “chef” only made chicken or cheese enchiladas, and would not make them Al Pastor even though they had it on the menu, and I said, I’d pay whatever they’d like. Instead. I decided to order some Chilaquiles with chorizo and two eggs over medium on top. I sent the eggs back twice because they were over cooked and over hard when the eggs came back, they weren’t even over easy. It was completely raw whites and the yellow was barely glossed over the guacamole, was super heavy on the lime, tomatoes, onions, and everything else other than avocado, my advice to the restaurant is if you can’t cook an egg properly do not put breakfast on your menu. This place was absolutely awful. I paid $25 because I had a special request,” eggs on chilaquiles”, I left no tip which I have NEVER done in my life before. I can’t emphasize enough stay away from this place there’s a reason there’s three stars on here. It was absolutely awful. I’m going to another restaurant now to see if I can satisfy my craving for good Mexican food.
So we go in and it's quaint inside and the lady was nice. We ordered 2 cuban sandwiches. Pretty hard to mess up right? Wrong! On hers she ordered no cheese and no tomato I ordered it all the way. She got 3 tiny pieces of pork laid out in a thin line across the bread. I ordered mine all the way and there is no pork, no cheese, and there wasn't any salami on either. Not going back in here, I'll just be disappointed again. This sucks because I love tiny places.
They charge you the tip without notice. The food is ok, but it’s too expensive for the quality.
