Olivos Restaurant

We came in for the first time today and it was amazing. From the music to the food and the very welcoming staff, it was excellent. I had lamb chops but I also tried an octopus appetizer, a salmon dish with mushrooms, and creme brûlée. All the foods were so flavorful and well seasoned everything had a hint of sweetness and savory flavors. And our server, Dayla was very attentive and made sure we felt welcomed, she was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and recommend this place.

First visit magic. What a beautiful interior you would never expect from the unassuming outside. Our server Barbara was phenomenal. She was patient and super helpful. The food was outstanding. I had the Bistec Uruguyo. Pork stuffed with ham and cheese. For dessert a beautifully caramelized Creme Brule. Overall, highly recommend. We will be back! Side note: Please move handicapped parking to other side near the entrance.

We don't have to drive to downtown or Ybor to have good Spanish food anymore! No its literally across the street. Good service, food and environment. I hightly recommend ham croquettes ( 4) , paella and churros (are the best.. ) can't wait to repeat

Barbara provided outstanding service and so sweet! I’ve been here many times with loved ones and we’ve never had a bad meal. Tonight I ordered the creama de malanga and I’m upset I’ve gone my whole latina life without having such a delicious dish made of my favorite root! The spinach strawberry/almond salad with mayo-miel dressing was a delish pairing. The atmosphere is sophisticated and sleek. Would make a great date night ;)

Wow, Olivios is a gem. You no longer have to drive to Seminole Heights or South Tampa for a great restaurant. It's right here in TNC. The prime rib was incredible 😍. I'll be back!

We came here for an early Christmas Day dinner and had a lovely experience overall. We started with the bruschettas, which surprised us by being topped with melted cheese, but they were still very tasty. For our main dishes, we ordered the Langosta al Grill with a side of mashed potatoes. The lobster was delicious and cooked well, though the mashed potatoes, while very creamy, could have used just a bit more seasoning. We also had the Enchilado de Langosta y Camarón with a side salad. The shrimp and lobster were very well seasoned and full of flavor. I especially appreciated that the salad was served undressed, with oil and vinegar on the side, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was very inviting and made for a great evening. The only small challenge we had was a bit of a language barrier with the wait staff at first, as they spoke limited English, but we were able to work through it easily. In the end, our orders were correct and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a great spot for a special meal, especially if you enjoy seafood and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I visited Olive, a Spanish-Mediterranean restaurant, and the experience was exceptional. The food was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented — every bite was delicious. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and very inviting, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. A special shout-out to Sheila, whose service was truly outstanding. She was attentive, warm, and made the entire dining experience even better. She’s amazing! Highly recommended. I will definitely be returning!

Amazing! We were happy we gave this place a shot. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and was looking for a spot to enjoy good steak, atmosphere, and drinks. Olivos didn't disappoint. Server was polite and knowledgeable, attentive, and shared their favorites. Gotta visit!!

Everything about my experience here was great! It’s so nice to have a nice restaurant in Town n Country!! The service in there was top tier and the food was delicious!! The meatballs (albóndigas) were amazing! I also got Cachopo de Res empanado-Relleno con jamón Serrano y queso and it was so good and filling!! The prices were great too for some fine dining in the area! Best part was not having to travel to downtown for a nice restaurant where parking is usually an issue! The decor was nice also inside! We got virgin drinks to cut back from alcohol and the San Francisco is my new favorite!! It’s so refreshing!! Get the flan too!! 🤤Thank you for a great time Olivos!

The vibes in this spot were pristine!! The food was served in such a fashionable, meticulous way and it was so so delicious. We got the manchego cheese croquettes and the sauces were so delicious we loved the truffle honey the best but they were all delicious. I love going to spots that serve special food that I would struggle to make at home and this spot didn’t disappoint! The server Talia was fabulous. So attentive, diligent, ready to help. They played live music that was super good and gave a pleasant atmosphere. So friendly and kind. 10/10 would come here again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been wanting to try this new Spanish tapas spot for a while, and it was absolutely worth the wait! Every dish we ordered was unique, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The fried chickpeas were perfectly crispy and addictive, the croquetas tasted just like the ones we had in Spain, and the smoked salmon salad was fresh, vibrant, and exactly what I was craving. You can tell there’s real care and passion in every bite. We’ll definitely be back to try even more from the menu!

Excellent authentic cuisine from Spain in a very inviting cozy & sleek environment. Great selection of traditional + creative tapas that was an each a very generous portion easily for two to share vs usual small plates/portion tasting. We had the Oysters with bechamel and cheese, also the Shrimp with ham and mushrooms tapas - both delicious with incredible sauces. Ordering was a but difficult because there were so many fabulous amazing choices to pick from. The Main courses we had was a beautifully plated lobster salad and an outstanding 1lb Ox steak that was cooked to order to a perfectly rare and tender slab of meat lovers paradise. This was all perfectly matched with a big pitcher of the most artistically presented red Sangria I ever seen and tasted. A real treat. Great service with a great accompaniment of music from Spain in the background. A wonderful experience all in all and one that we will definitely come back to another time soon.

Went to Olivos for lunch and it did not disappoint. We went to Spain in April so I had been excited to see the similarities here. We did tapas for the table and there was plenty of food for 3 of us to try. Great service, great atmosphere, excellent food!

I highly recommend this place! I had dinner here today, and from the very first bite of the appetizer all the way through to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. The service was also outstanding—many thanks to Barbara for taking such great care of us throughout the evening. On top of the great food and service, the ambience was super chill and relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you can truly enjoy your meal, have good conversation, and just unwind. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would definitely come back again.

An expensive decision. Out looking for a kitchen countertop I found myself at the corner of Waters and Hanley and decided to finally try Olivos, a bucket list place of mine. Lunch at 11:30 am, the place was empty. Large tinted windows allowed the sunlight to fill the room, shiny dark lacquered tables and leather bound menus evoked a sense of richness while tiny metal and extremely uncomfortable chairs quickly ushered reality. Plenty of free parking around the edifice. The food was glorious in flavor. A very savory steak that was over-cooked. An enchilada of lobster and shrimp with a stunning red salsa, smoky and sweet and intoxicating. The seafood somewhat tough and chewy. A culinary paradox. The garlic rice was sticky and the black beans were the perfect density, both lacked salt which was ok with us because we are older and could control it ourselves with a nice salt grinder. I was irked by the pricing of our 2 glasses of Sangria, I did not want to spend $36 on a pitcher so I ordered 2 glasses, as it turns out, 2 glasses came to $32. It would have been a nice gesture had the server informed me so I could do the pitcher instead or just decide not to have Sangria. That's what I get for not looking at the prices. The flavors are were impressive, food well presented, the ambiance very nice. Seating was painful, Sangria too expensive, the chef mlssed the mark in execution by overcooking both beef and seafood. I love the menu, a mix of Cuban, S. American and Spanish cuisine. I really wanted the Paella but the thought of an extra 20 minutes in that chair killed that notion. I will order it ahead next time because I must try it, as an expert making the dish myself I try it anytime I see it on a menu. I do recommend trying Olivo's.

The food at Olivos was delicious! However, I wasn’t a big fan of the interior. The restaurant feels a bit empty, and I don’t like the metal chairs or the small tables. There were four of us seated at a small square table, and it was hard to fit all the dishes on it. The bar also looked empty, and the space felt dark and somewhat uncomfortable — almost like an unfinished restaurant. On the bright side, the live music was great and added a nice touch to the atmosphere.
