My wife and I stopped thru today for a quick bite after my Dr. Apt today we both were in the mood for tacos. As soon as I walked thru the door I was in awe and stopped to admire the beautiful mural on the wall. The self serve kiosk to order your food was really simple and hassle free. We grabbed our table marker sat down and admired the space. I loved the neon colors and the music that was playing really made the experience that more wonderful. It took like 10 minutes for our food to come out, and we chowed down. I ordered birria and steak tacos my wife had a shrimp and a mahi taco along with the street corn. Everything was fresh and delicious definitely hit the spot!!! The street corn was super good I highly recommend. We were just saying before our departure that we were gonna make it a point to come back and visit Talking Tacos again. Well Done I love 🌮 . O yeah spot was clean and your staff was super helpful especially the young lady that you had working the door and waitressing.
I would say it’s not an ideal location for this place. It should in a stand alone structure. It has its own vibe. You’ll know, when you see the place. Dark with neon, but there’s enough light where you can see. When you first enter, you’ll order at a kiosk machine. Take a number stand and sit at a table. 10-15 minutes someone brings your food to the table. There’s lots of delicious options to choose from. Tonight I had the Birria Ramen and the rest of the family had a Birria sandwich with fries, a 3 taco plate (shrimp, carnitas, and mahi), chips and special queso. The prices are pretty reasonable for the amount and quality you get. Everything was delicious. We’ll definitely be back and try something else because there was more that we wanted to try. There’s lots of tables inside (but dark at night), and lots of free parking. And it’s easy to locate from the main road.
This is the cutest little taco restaurant. I love how you order on the kiosk, take a seat of your choice and they bring the food to you. The food was enough for two to three people. I literally wanted to try everything, but I ended up with birria Ramen and a shrimp, taco salad bowl. It was so good. My daughter and I shared loaded chicken nachos for an appetizer, again, it was enough for three. This is our new favorite, taco spot.
First off, the advertisement 100% got me. Second, they for sure followed up strong on the food. I got the birria ramen and I can't imagine it better other than offering a slice of lime to go with it. The meat and noodles were perfect in texture, the broth is filling and flavorful. The broth is rather rich and frankly I almost had to save part for later. The packaging of the ramen is also thoughtfully done with the container being placed inside of a spill safe bag, which is placed in the carrying bag. They give you a fork and spoon, which is all you need to eat this, so you can eat this on the go. If you want to dine in, the interior is well decorated and the gentleman at the register was very polite and easygoing. I ordered through their website, it looks like they have a loyalty program that makes the site worth ordering through. Highly recommended, will be directing more people here!
After coming off a roadtrip and returning home. My family wanted something filling, fresh, yet healthy. So we decided on Talking Tacos based on reviews and also previous experience at the South Florida location. We were immediately greeted by Karla with a warm and inviting smile. She gave a detailed description of how the restaurant flowed and we were able to order after. Everyone decided on something different from a Burrito Kids meal, Birria Tacos, Chicken & Steak Bowl. Our order was brought to the table in a timely manner and accurate. Karla checked on my family numerous times and was very accommodating. Our drinks were refilled and even able to get more sauces. Karla shined bright all across the board and will be the reason why we return. Outside of the great cuisine offered.
Small place in a strip mall with extra large atmosphere. We were blown away by the food, service and decor. The food was delicious. The servers were happy to make your visit perfect. The prices were reasonable. We will visit again!
My wife and I are visiting from Texas. We were craving tacos for dinner. We found this place online and were instantly wanting to try it out! Thank God we did because the food was absolutely delicious! Upon arrival, the staff was super polite, explained the menu, and gave 100% great service. We ordered the Loaded Fries as an App. Then we got the Birria Tacos & the Trio Taco Platter. I felt like I was back home in Texas because the servings were ginormous! Everything was filled with flavor and love. We even heard the chefs singing in the kitchen. You can count on the food being great when you can hear the chefs enjoying what they love to do. If we ever come back to Tampa, FL, this place is on the list of places to come back to. 10/10 would highly recommend!
Incredible service with incredible food. Fernando and crew took great care of us. They were very attentive and the food came out fresh and hot. We had the Caribbean Carne tacos, birria Ramon and cup of corn! I recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a taste of Mexico with a twist. Let’s taco ‘bout it!!!!
My boyfriend got a huge birria burrito that he thought was delicious. I got a taco salad bowl which was equally as huge. With 2 drinks too it was a little pricey but you get a huge amount of food! The atmosphere is so cute and clean too!
Beautiful resturant! Amazing food and very friendly/helpful staff. They even swapped out my lemonade flavor for free because I didn't like the first one. The birria Mac and cheese is to die for!
Came in during our visit to tampa, Vivian was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us multiple times. Food was awesome!!

Everything we had was outstanding. The birria Mac and cheese was BOMB. 10/10 RECOMMEND and would definitely come back! I wish I'd tried the street corn nachos!! 😭
Although I didn't enjoy the Birria pizza, the general manager, Ceasar, made sure me and my family was satisfied! He graciously refunded our money for the pizza and brought me out another item, of my choice, to enjoy!! Now that's service!!! Excellent Food! Definitely will return!! 🌮😀
Came here the other day with a friend after work for dinner. It was our first time here and we can definitely say that we will be back again! The atmosphere was upbeat with the music & the cool wall designs & signs. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our entire experience. And the food was absolutely delicious. My friend got the birria ramen, the blue lemonade, & the tajin & chamoy gummies. he said the ramen had an amazing flavor & was very filling, the blue lemonade was a slightly sweet but still refreshing, & the gummies were so good he couldn't stop eating them. I did steal some of them to try & can concur that if I was not absolutely stuffed from my food that I would have kept eating them as well. I had the street corn & the birria pizza which were both amazing! The street corn & the birria pizza were not small by any means. I actually ended up taking a bit of both home to have for lunch the next day, & as a big back foodie that is rare for me to do. The pizza can be a bit messy while eating so beware of that if you plan on ordering it. The only negative experience throughout my time was that tomato soup came with the birria pizza instead of consomme. It was not bad or anything, only that I was expecting consomme instead. I did go back later & see that it does say it comes with tomato soup on the menu; so that was on me for not fully reading the description. So don't make the same mistake I did & assume it comes with consomme, it is a separate side item you have to order if you want consomme with the pizza.
My daughter and I enjoyed Talking Tacos the other night. She really liked the self order kiosk lol. The food was good, the Burris tacos were great as well as the Steak Al Pastor Tacos; they had so much flavor. The atmosphere was cool as well! I’ll definitely be back!
I was on vacation in Florida and tried this place and it was so worth it. The food was absolutely amazing! I got the chips and guacamole as an appetizer and then the steak Al Pastor tacos for my entree. The guacamole was sooooo good and the tacos were the best tacos I have ever had! There was so much flavor and the sauce was absolutely delicious. I would 100 percent eat there all the time but sadly there isn’t one near where I live. If you’re looking for new locations I suggest Portland Maine or Portsmouth NH! We are in need of some GOOD taco places! Also as a gluten free girly I was very impressed by this place.

Absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere, really fun and cool decor. There wasn't any wait because of the time that I stopped by, the servers were very friendly and the food came out pretty fast. I got the birria grilled cheese with tomato soup and fries, and the home mango lemonade. The lemonade was really good, well balanced between flavors, not too sweet or too sour. The tomato soup well done. And the birria grilled cheese was amazing, the meat practically melts into your mouth and it was packed with flavor. My only issue was the oiliness, however, that is definitely a personal issue with it as I have a hard time with some foods with high amounts of oil. But to be honest, despite that, I'll definitely be back with friends. Update: I went again and got their new item the birria mac and cheese and sunset lemonade. The portion of the birria mac was awesome, its a large cup and absolutely packed with food. The flavor was really good, and it had a lot of cheese. I loved it, and so did my family. The lemonade was really good too, personally I think the mango one is better. Given the portion and the flavor, the price is more than fair.
First time to a talking taco shop. So orders are all placed through kiosk with your name and email to send receipt and find you to bring your food. Not sure what you'd do if had only cash, the kiosks only take cards They have an extensive menu that is not English speaking friendly. I didn't know what half the items were, like birria. I got the taco trio of bang bang shrimp, barilla carne, and the standard beef taco. The tacos were not hot, pretty greasy, and came with a bland and greasy taco sauce. I loved the habanero, jalapeño and cayenne pepper sauces, all talking taco brand. The meat on the standard taco was overcooked and dry. The bang bang shrimp taco did not have enough sauce, and the barilli taco had one wad of meat not so easy to bite into. The atmosphere was good, but the music playing was so loud the server couldn't hear us screaming to get her attention, nor could we hear her calling our names with our orders. The server gets auto 12% on card unless you manually change it. She only brought our drinks and food and a box once we got her attention. We cleaned our own table. Lemonade refills are free. I would have been okay if server would have asked how it was or seen us trying to flag her down, as we wanted other sauces like sour cream.
Decent taco spot for a quick, if expensive, lunch. The carne tacos were good, however the lunch special which included two tacos, drink and chips came to $30. The tacos weren’t $30 good. Service was excellent, fast and accurate. Decore was interesting with a dark neon Nuevo modern thing going on. Order via kiosk which might have more options than I found, but seemed limited for mix and matching tacos and customizing extras. There are no soft drinks available, but they have bottled water and a few flavors of lemonade.

I was excited to try this place based on the reviews I've seen and the pics of the food. We pulled up at prime dinner time and it wasn't super busy as I expected ..... Not a good sign. The decor is cool, the dining area was clean. You have to order at a kiosk and pay when you order, then they bring your food to you. Everything was prepared to order. I had a taco trio with the steak, Birria, and bang bang shrimp tacos. She had a shrimp rice bowl, and we tried the tomato soup and an order of guacamole. All in with 2 sodas, $55. The guacamole was okay.... There wasn't much spice to it. The tomato soup was GREAT! The shrimp bowl was a bit bland.... Not a lot of flavor and the rice in it was cold. The tacos had great flavors, but none of the meats seemed to be to temperature. The shrimp were warm, but the meats in both the steak and the Birria tacos were cold and dry. I was disappointed and definitely don't get the hype. There are SO many places around Tampa with tacos and Mexican food, so this place better step up their game.
Food is food but everything was cold esp our queso . Service was awful . Young girls with no respect or manners. Had to wait 5 min after everyone got their food for mine and then she delivers it to The table to someone who clearly already had his food . Didn’t speak at all. Girl behind the counter was just there not really aiding very well with the food line. The restaurant was clean and nice and super cool with the lights . Wish our food was hot would have been much better .
First time visit for my daughter and I. First impression very positive as one of the staff greeted us as we walked in. The inside was very clean and the decor was very fitting. The staff was great! I have to say in my opinion, some of the items were a little overpriced. Our food was served in a timely manner along with our drinks. We both ordered the Taco Trio. We both thought the tacos were average. My favorite was the Southwest Chicken and my daughter's was the Caribbean Carne Tacos. The drinks were really good, my daughter had the Blue Lemonade and I had the Mango Lemonade. The staff and the atmosphere was great but the food is just average.

I spent $46 on food and can't even eat. I put in my comments that I'm vegetarian, please do not cross contaminate, and it was cooked over grease from the other food. I asked for no takis, pico or avocado salsa, almost threw up in the parking lot when I but into it to taste meat and onions from the avocado salsa. They remade it and, while this time didn't have onions, it also didn't have the sour cream that I asked for and was cooked in meat, again. I'm staring at food I cannot eat and that erks me to no end.
While this place has great reviews it will not be a revisit for me. Tres leches ( does not match marketing photos) was super small and dry. Queso taste store bought and consomé was extremely watery and no flavor. Birra tacos had no seasoning on the meat and the chicken in the chicken burrito was super dry.
