Stopped in for a iced coffee and a few donuts. This place is awesome! There is some limited outdoor seating, but a great place to start the day. They even offer drive-thru as an option for those rainy days. Check this place out.

DELICIOUS! i’ve passed this a place number of times when we’ve been up in Tannersville, but it was an open. Finally stopped in and oh my I understand why there was a line outside now. We ordered: - classic glazed donut 🌟 it’s out of this world!! It’s light fluffy perfectly fried with a glaze that sits on top which I found unusual but delicious. I think it’s actually an apple cider doughnut that’s been fried again because it doesn’t taste like a regular donut but it tasted different from the hot apple cider donut which we also ordered. It was red because we went on Christmas Eve. - Hot apple cider doughnut, which tastes a little sweeter than a regular apple cider doughnut, and not quite as light as the classic glazed donut. Still good but not as good. - maple latte. Super sweet but fine to try once. There’s a drive up window which we used just to try it out. There was a bit of a wait but I didn’t mind especially once I realized how delicious the donuts were. Oh and one thing to note: you enter off 23a not the side road. So if you’re coming East from Hunter Mountain towards Saugerties you go past the sign and enter from the highway. Lots of parking there but if it’s full just park on the side street and walk up.

Worked with Kelly and Allison came one day before and a day after when we left from our stay at scribner's lodge the donuts here are so pure and delicious and homemade don't even get me started on the apple cider everything here was delicious make sure to ask for the watermelon cucumber recharge tea they were so hospitable here and friendly makes you not want to leave excellent customer service all the way around!

Stopped in today on the way out of town. Staff was super-friendly and helpful with picking some of the delicious specialty donuts. Got some frozen coffee drinks and a 12 pack of fantastic donuts.

First time stopping here today after many times up Visiting family. We are not donut eaters but got 2 apple cider donuts and we thought they were much better then any Dunkin’ Donuts we ever had. The sign is nothing like Krispy Kreme sign no clue how you compare them. Don’t even spell so it’s the same. We will definitely stop for coffee again.

the best apple cider donut, and i'm pretty into apple cider donuts. i grew up in between two apple orchards that both made them. crisp outside, soft inside, balanced sugar and cinnamon coating, and bonus points for perfect shape. can't wait to try their other kinds. coffee is also perfect.

We got 18 donuts for a 4th of July dinner treat. Cake donuts were small but extremely filling and delicious. Icing was even better. Staff at the window was a total character and upsold us on a recharge drink (we went with watermelon-cucumber-mint) after a friendly game of rock-paper-scissors. Charming and hilarious experience! Definitely recommend

The Donuts were amazing and the service was fantastic, but I ordered a large latte and think they forgot to put any coffee in it it was basically just maple milk. Donuts were good enough to keep it 4 stars though!

Took a walk up the block to try Fred’s - we loved it! Closest thing to our grandpas donuts back home. The gents were friendly and kind, latte was good. Looking forward to our next visit.

Overall, really enjoyed Fred's. It's an unsuspecting location (legitimately a little hut off of Rte 23A). The drinks were really good (I've tried the chai latte and the Nutella latte), and the donuts were good, but not the best. The apple cider was hands down delicious, but the chocolate glazed somewhat congealed, making it really sticky and difficult to eat. I'd recommend checking it out, but recommend getting there early so you're not waiting in line too long!

I hate to say but I wasn't the biggest fan, I would have loved this to be the new twin peaks with super fresh donuts you could see rolling off the machine and amazing pricing and great coffee, but it's not that, we ended up doing a half dozen because of the high price (12 dollars for 6 mini donuts with only glazing ) The staff was super nice and very patient, I wouldn't complain to them about pricing because it's out of there control but for reference, the original twin peak had it's specialty donuts for only 1.50 per donut( that's 50 cents less then a normal donut at Fred's ) and they also don't have a cheaper bulk buying option. Its not a bad place to go but this isn't the new twin peaks, it's a higher price with a drive through ( that's better or worse depending on what type of person you are ) experience

For starters, this is a drive-through only establishment, for which the signage indicating such is a bit lacking. My order consisted of a plain latte and a maple glazed donut. The latte was perfect…the donut, well it was lackluster. Firstly, for better or worse, the donuts are small, like two or three bites small. Mine was cold and the maple glaze was very runny and almost all of it ended up in the wax sleeve the donut was provided in. Not an impressive flavor, either. However, they’ve only been open for four weeks now, so hopefully they’ll get better. Prices are higher than I’d like or expect for the craft coffee drinks.

I enjoy there donuts on certain days and the coffee is great but at times the donuts are old and when they come out the icing is left on top of the bag so sometimes you don’t even get icing on the donuts. Also I usually love the costumer service there, but there is one lady that is always in a bad mood no matter how nice you are to her, I would think being local and regular customer would brighten her mood. But for the price of the stuff the service is hit or miss and so are the donuts. But I will continue to go to support this local business

Drive thru experience for very small expensive donuts and coffee. The Logo on the sign was stolen? From Krispy Kreme's logo..not very original. Bummer

Rude customer service and HORRIBLE hot chocolate I think I they just pour powder in water and sell it for $3….it wasnt even hot just lukewarm. I came around 4:30 and after I ordered a hot chocolate the guy slammed the window in my face & said “thats it im done we’re not doing anymore” and I saw him turn away anyone who tried to pull up BEFORE their offical closing time

I ordered two glazed doughnuts and a medium nutella hot cocoa w an espresso shot in it. The doughnuts were very greasy and cold and left a greasy film inside my mouth. There was no glaze. It was a cold thick white icing smeared on top of the two doughnuts. The doughnuts are inedible. I was told they had just come out of the cooker. I live literally two minutes down the road so getting as cold as they did and the non glaze is no excuse. Even if they are normally served cold, that still doesn't excuse the oily/greasiness of the doughnuts. The nutella hot coco w the espresso shot was luke warm. What a waste. This is the 2nd time I have come here and they have had horrible products. Its a shame twin peaks closed. The doughnuts were a little cheaper and way better and always hot. I dont where the problem lies, but its extremely obvious there is a lack of making sure customers get what they order and if not, at least giving them a decent non greasy doughnut. These definitely are the worst doughnuts I have ever had.
