I loved my experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly; I was traveling with my disabled mother, and they gave us so much attention. The employees chatted with us and were very accommodating. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and pleasant. Visit the hotel; you'll be delighted.

Nice, clean, comfortable place. The only thing I think is that the hot water shouldn't take so long to flow, as it wastes the vital liquid. Please post signs that noise is allowed until a reasonable hour. Thanks. But it's a good hotel.

Excellent hotel with a good downtown location near the main park, the museum, Plaza del Sol, BBVA bank, and department stores. Excellent service, very friendly reception. I made my reservation by phone the same day, and the room was provided even before check-in time. The hotel has bellboy/bellhop service, an elevator, a very secure room with a smart card lock, very clean and comfortable, complimentary bottled water and coffee, a coffeemaker, cable TV, air conditioning, iron, hairdryer, comfortable beds, telephone, table with chairs, and a balcony. Very clean bathrooms, a somewhat small shower (they had a peculiar design with a column on one side that left a small space), and warm water. During my stay, they offered a buffet breakfast (Los Jarrones restaurant is located below, at the entrance). It was varied and delicious. The service of the waiters was excellent. Basic coffee, juice, bread, eggs, rice, beans, granola, yogurt, fruits, and various typical regional foods with very good seasoning. Excellent and friendly daily housekeeping. Rooms had minimal street noise. There is a security guard at the hotel entrance. Upon leaving the hotel, the staff inspected the facilities. The receptionist was very kind and called a taxi to take us to our next destination. Highly recommended hotel; the buffet definitely makes the difference.

This review is limited to the restaurant. 23 years ago I found Los Jarrones. It's on the bottom floor of the Hotel. My fondest memories of the place was when it had live music. Mr. Machado was a great interpreter of Ricardo Arjona. Enough of my stroll through memory lane. Now to the food and service of today. Every time I am in Chiapas I order the tuna filled avocado and tlalpeño soup. It hits the spot time every time. That and a pitcher of Claricot ( a concoction of lemonade, vodka, red wine, diced apples, and ice) A bit similar to sangria but sweeter. I fortified mine with a whole bottle of tempranillo to my half empty pitcher. Very good! Fernando, our waiter, was outstanding. Very accommodating and friendly. Chepis, the manager, an old friend from those days long ago was on spot with the live music. If you're into 70s through 90s Mexican top 40 and romance, you hit a hold mine. Highly recommend it. Buffet seems to be a hit with the locals. Come to Chiapas and enjoy.
