What a beautiful venue for music, drinks, and great food. Our server, Montana, was helpful and attentive. Kid friendly atmosphere for brunch & lunch. The band playing today was fun! They did mostly 80s and 90s music. They not only play, they're all great singers, and do improv! Band: The Get Down Party

So we decided to check out the Temecula area and stopped at this place for some food and drinks. I ordered steak, eggs and potatoes. Unfortunately it took a long time to get my food even though it wasn’t busy. Overall the food was okay but the drinks were delicious. The tipsy dragon was bourbon, fireball and lemonade with wooden stick lit on fire. The bar area had a dark theme with tvs for viewing and a huge chalkboard behind the bar. The entrance was open and bright with a fireplace with a deer head.

Me and my bf stopped in for a cocktail and apps before dinner. We sat at the bar top but the outside seating looked very nice also. I ordered a speciality cocktail- I don’t remember the name but it has vodka and a fruit purée- it was delicious ! My bf got a beer. We also shared the loaded steak fries and they were DELICIOUS! They had melted cheese, steak pieces and thousand island. The menu is smaller with some salad and sand which options. They had some other entrees as well we will definitely be back to try !

Blackbird Tavern is located in the beautiful Old Town Temecula between Riverside and San Diego counties. Because of its location, parking is hard to find. We found street parking up the road and just walked down to Blackbird Tavern. This restaurant is huge and perfect for large groups. A section of their patio has lawn games/toys like cornhole (bean bag toss) and another larger section with two bonfire pits. They also have a stage so I’m sure they have entertainers performing here. Very cool space actually. Inside they have a huge bar and indoor dining. Outside they have plenty of benches for outdoor dining. And plenty of space if you just want to stand or walk around. It has a pretty awesome vibe here with loud but enjoyable music. I’d say that most patrons that were here were around their 30s/40s - and I saw some families dining here too. The food here is pretty good. We ordered a few cocktails and appetizers. The Island Style Ahi Nachos and Spinach & Artichoke Dip were both delicious crowd-pleasers! And the servers were very attentive. He came around many times making sure we got what we needed and asked how the food was. Overall, really awesome place with to celebrate with a group, play a couple games, hang out by the fire pits, drink, eat and be merry!

Great first date location! The decor is inviting rustic and fun. The drinks are well made and strong. Avoid the spinach dip... literally no spinach, just foam 😩. Indoor and outdoor areas, vibrant colors, and clean bathrooms. Staff was friendly and courteous, and the cost was average to slightly above. Great place to chat and enjoy someone's company. Parking again is an issue. Arrive 15 min early to find a stall and to walk to your location. Beyond that, it seems great. Would have enjoyed a live band or more music to make it a 5 star... or actual spinach dip 😆

A rustic bar and grill located in the heart of old town temecula. With some unique and interesting menu choices. Loved the decor of the interior. Lots of cool stuff to look at like a honey bear chandelier. Went in on a Saturday for lunch. There was a wait of about an hour to get seated however there was open seating located at the bar. Ended up getting the short rib fries as a starter ...... excellent! Would definitely order again. Got the chicken and waffles for the entree. The waffle was sweet and filling. The chicken was overcooked and a little rubbery. Luckily I opted for the all you could drink mimosas to help wash it down. I went with the watermelon flavor. The staff were very friendly and attentive and kept the sparkling wine flowing consistently. I never had an empty glass. Had a great time and definitely would return to try out some of the other menu items. But will probably skip on the chicken and waffle .

The atmosphere is fun and laid back. The staff is very accommodating and the food and drinks came out quickly. We went in the afternoon when they first opened so our kids wouldn't irritate other guests, and the kids had fun playing corn hole and running in the outdoor area. My husband got the burger, which I tried and was really good, but the chicken sandwich would've been much better grilled. The fried chicken was hard. Both sandwiches came with fries, which were also good.

The service was the best part of the experience. We never had to ask about refilling our bottomless Mimosas. I forgot her name but she was super sweet and made sure we were good. My issue is the food. They completely changed their Chicken and Waffles. Before it used to have gravy on top and this time their was no gravy and the Chicken was waay to salty. Anyways the waffle was fine. My French Toast was pretty good and it was missing the mascarpone cream. It turned out they didn't update their menus in awhile and its a bit misleading when someone wants to order something they see on the menu. I definitely want to give them another chance but they got to fix the menu and their salty chicken. Mimosas was awesome though

Three stars for atmosphere. After that the place is pretty unimpressive. The menu is nothing special and beers are the same. The service was average. Ordered a Hef and was brought something else. Had the Brussels and enjoyed them but for $12 it’s a bit over priced.

If I had to pick a highlight of the evening, it’s when this old(er) lady was carded at the door, I know it’s probably procedure, but total ego boost Ordered 2 drinks, basic common drinks, whiskey Sour and a Long Island ice Tea, Worst drinks , food came , finger food from Costco, we tried again with the drinks, Mine was a bit better, by dates, He ordered a Jamenson and Squirt, His drink was clear…. Bartender had given him sprite and Vodka instead. When we went to close the tab, he couldn’t find his card, In all not a great place for a first date…. Only other bright spot, was the young man who brought out the extra heater for us.

Little security guard at the door wouldn't let me in. So I was unable to celebrate a friends wedding at the after party with the rest of the wedding party. I honestly don't know why I was denied entry, but I can speculate...if you catch my drift. I never write reviews (good or bad), but I have to this time. I recommend spending you money elsewhere, especially if you are in a large group of diverse folks.

Avoid this place at all costs. One star. We stopped in for two beers on Sat Sept 27, 9:15pm. The bartender inspected our state IDs, then handed them to security. Two minutes later security pulled us outside and told us we had to leave because they believed our IDs were fake. We are well into our 30s. These are valid, state-issued IDs. When we asked why they thought they were fake they refused to say. When we asked them to scan the IDs to verify, they flat-out refused. No proof. No explanation. Just: get out. The bar was nearly empty (maybe eight people), so there was no crowd-control excuse just sloppy, arrogant staff who prefer to insult paying customers instead of doing the job. Management: buy an ID scanner or train your people to check IDs properly, because losing customers this way is on you. We would have been happy to spend money there, but after being treated like criminals with no cause or transparency, we left. If it happened to us, it can happen to you. Avoid.
