DUTCH CRUNCH BREAD WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!? This sandwich spot is unassuming and very low profile, but the food here will change your life. Dutch crunch bread as a slightly sweet loaf with a crackly crust that is the most unique part of the carbohydrate. The menu is small with good variety. I ordered the Warf and the Capital and they did not disappoint! Everything on the sandwich is customizable which is nice especially for the more particular eaters. I can't wait to come back to try everything else on the menu!

Found this place based off Instagram so I figured I would try it with my team when we were in the area. Typically Italian sandwich, kind of guy, but after seeing some folks ordering the Capital, I couldn’t resist. The bread truly changes the dynamic of the sandwich the friendly owner and staff make this a friendly environment I’ll definitely visit again next week. If you’re in the Temecula area, I highly recommend stopping by the Dutch Sandwich shop.

Came here on my lunch looking for something different than my norm (J Mike's) and was PLEASANTLY surprised!! Got the #6 with spicy pickles (awesome that they have that option in addition to regular dill) 🔥. Excellent quality meat, cheese, veggies, condiments, and that bread?! TO DIE FOR! Customer service was top tier and they are very helpful and informative. I'll most DEFINITELY be a returning customer, and next time I'll be getting the tuna! 😋

We have tried every sandwich on the menu board and we love them all. Plus the owner and crew are super friendly and helpful. My favorite is The Hollywood. The slightly spicy turkey goes well with the hint of sweetness in the Dutch Crunch Bread. My wife's favorite is The Capitol, with Roast Beef & Pastrami. My bothers is The Wharf, a Tuna sandwich that he adds spicy pickles too. This shop is 22 miles from my house so yeah, we love it! Oh, and don't forget to add the Hella Saucy :)

Excellent Dutch Crunch sandwiches! A great spot for anyone, will feel a little extra special for those with Bay Area ties. The various named sandwiches are fantastic and distinct enough from other shops you'll find something interesting to try. Abdul and his staff are super friendly to all the customers, and definitely would come back!

Love this place! The owner, and staff, are always friendly. Flavors are on point. These sandwiches are well worth the price. Good to split with someone or have half for lunch and half for dinner.

Everything about this place is amazing. They do tell you in advance the Dutch crunch has a sweet flavor to the bread so be prepared for that but overall a really good sandwich!

Bay area transplant or not, you'll love this. As the name would imply, the Dutch crunch is the star here. Fluffy, fresh, crunchy and slightly sweet with a decent chew -- perfect. The vibe is welcoming and branding is hip similar to an Ike's if you've ever been to one. The guys behind the counter are more than willing to engage in some friendly banter, and eager to help. They've mastered the bread (the most important part), I feel there could be some room for growth in the signature sandwich compositions, not to say what they offer now is bad, it's pretty good. But maybe some more experimentation could yield some sandwiches that take this place over the top. I hope this place "makes" it, not just because I desire a Dutch crunch shop near me, but because they deserve to. Beyond offering something delicious, these guys invested in trying to bring something new to our community and in a perfect world that should be rewarded.

Saw this sandwich shop on google maps, thought we would give it a try, omg great sandwich and staff super friendly. Thanks guys for the wonderful Hollywood sandwich. Yummy. See you next time we're in town. One year later, update... All I can say is I wished we lived close to the Dutch Sandwich Shop , but we don't so now it's our go to when visiting Temecula. We weren't disappointed in fact enjoyed the sandwich so much got one to go for dinner. Awesome food and service. Please stop by and let owner Abdul and Russell make you the best sandwich around. Ok YUM. Went into this place blind and was blown away by the customer service and quality of The Dutch Sandwich Shop. We live further away but will likely go out of our way to come back again!! My husband got The Hollywood and I got The City—both phenomenal. 10/10, you have to try this place.

The Dutch Sandwich Shop is such a great gem in Temecula. I tried it for the first time after my parents absolutely raved about it and it was so good! I ordered The Hollywood on the Dutch crunch bread and it was amazing! Highly recommend!

It was a Saturday morning and my husband and I just finished walking our dogs at the park. It was around 10:30am and my husband wanted a sandwich. I wasn't sure what would be open at this time but after a quick search on yelp, The Dutch Sandwich Shop came up and it was only like 6 minutes away. After scanning the menu, I was set on ordering the #2 The City. My husband went inside to order while I waited in the car with the dogs. He was indecisive when he went inside but after talking to the owner who said he makes the tuna himself, my ordered #1 The Wharf. He said the interior was cool with some arcade machines. We ended up eating in the parking lot in our car. The total price for 2 sandwiches and 2 chips was a bit steep but after first bite of my sandwich, I was like "oooh this is good". It's one of those places where it would be worth it just to drive down for. My husband and I really liked the Dutch crunch bread as well which a lot of others reviews mentioned. We are definitely a fan.

wonderful slice of home/the Bay here in Temecula. this is the closest you'll get to Little Lucca (iykyk) down here and even better in some aspects. the dutch crunch is unique in that it's softer than usual while maintaining that signature crunch. the tuna (made in house daily) is excellent. whatever you get, make sure to get it hella saucy. employees are super nice and the service is speedy!

This is easily one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving an exceptional sandwich.

What a great find! I can't believe we've never heard about this place before now, it's absolutely mind-blowing! The dutch crunch bread is A-1, ingredients are quality and the service is unforgettable. I told them it was the best sandwich I've ever had and that's the honest truth. First time trying Dutch Sandwich shop and it was great! Ordered the wharf and the capital and we were able to customize what toppings we wanted. They have an option for “super saucy” which is mayo, mustard and a basil sauce and it was delicious. They have 2 tables inside with a counter for seating and they have a few tables outside. Wise assortment of chips and drinks. Great customer service, super friendly and whenever we are in the area we will def be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly staff, amazing sandwiches! I tried the Capitol and the hollywood sandwich and they were both amazing. The sauce they use is to die for! Will definitely be coming back for more. My only complaint, not enough pickles in my sandwich lol. Other than that, price is reasonable for a delicious sandwich. 😋

What a gem of a sandwich shop! We had the pleasure of trying three different sandwiches—the Capital, the Hollywood, and the City—and they were all outstanding. I have to mention the bread, which was absolutely wonderful and super delicious. It was the perfect foundation for the sandwiches. Each one had a wonderful blend of flavors that was just perfect, and the freshness of the veggies and meats really stood out. Add to that the super friendly and helpful staff, and you've got a winning combination. We will definitely be back!

I had really high hopes coming here when I heard "Dutch crunch" which comes from Bay area's "Little Lucca" sandwich shops originally. This version at The Dutch sandwich shop is ok at best. Very little meat in 1 serving, good garlic pesto but not like the original, and worst was the bread. Way too much breading for the fillings, too sweet, and not crunchy as the title may suggest. If you've never had Little Luccas I can see the appeal, but not somewhere I would return to without a serious reevaluation of their sandwiches. Especially at the $18 per footlong.
