Stop by in between deliveries and stumbled upon this place and I must say that it is quite the jewel I needed in my life. The Shrimp Plate is so delicious and perfectly seasoned and the Plum Wine is amazingly refreshing and it gets you right (ha ha haaa). I love how they serve your tea in a personalized size tea pot and a very cute little cup; I'm so glad I stumbled upon this little hidden gem.

Wow! I've never had sushi and rolls this big!! It's so filling, and the quality and taste are all great! Sushi and rolls are the best around here, and the sushi master and staff were all friendly. Thank you for the awesome food 🙏

My first time trying this place! My daughter and her husband always frequents this joint and I finally tried it. Take out. Only pictured my order here I ordered tomato roll, crazy salmon, garlic crunch. However the Bryan that my daughter ordered and the sexy sexy roll that my son in law ordered was perfect to refresh the palate. Maybe next time I’ll drop by to check out the ambiance. So far, ingredients are fresh and they accommodated our extra ginger request. Highly recommend.

I like going during lunch, good basic rolls for only 6.99$. Very good fresh flavors. I still get one maybe two rolls from dinner menu (the 911 roll is pretty darn good). Great sushi, nice clean atmosphere. My daughter and I try to come at least twice a month.

I had heard great things about this restaurant, so when they opened one closer to me I knew I had to try it. The dining room was small but I never felt cramped. I ordered the bento because I wanted to try many things. I was pleasantly surprised when they brought out the appetizer we never ordered but everyone had. Those were tasty but different. They also gave us miso soup and salad with a soy ginger dressing that I ate quickly. The bento was also great. I can’t wait to go again.

Great place! The rolls were very substantial and the service was excellent. We were greeted immediately on entering and chose a seat. Our drink order was taken quickly and service all throughout was prompt. The staff was friendly and even the owner Kyong came to say hello and asked for feedback and to welcome us as first timers. They saw I was drinking a lot of soda and brought out a pitcher to make sure we didn’t run out. The food was fresh and the cowboy roll and ahi tower were our favs. They were pretty too. We will be back!

The food was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much as the local korean restaurant options have been a miss. I ordered the chicken fried rice and the yukejang. Im so glad the rice wasn't salty as a lot of places heavily season with MSG to get flavor bombs. The soup was really decent the spice level was on point and there was a good portion of beef in the soup. The service was just so/so not good or bad. I will say i would go back to try something different but whether or not it would be dine in or take out is questionable... I was sad they didn't offer chopsticks in take out and the sides were soooooo tiny the cucumber side was ok a bit salty and the pickled radish not my favorite option for korean side dishes. But for the main entrees not terrible...

I ordered the lunch chicken with veggies. I thought the chicken would be grilled not breaded, I wish the waitress would have specified. The sauce was not good, the veggies were not really cooked. The California roll was decent. I would go back, but order something else. The chicken had no flavor. I really wished I asked for something else ir a refund. It was ok...wasn't delish. I liked the place though.

Update 012025, seems thr food quality has turned itself around again, I will start going again now. *update 4/30/2024, still isn't great, seems they are using margarine to make fried rice, the sushi looked old today, nothing spectacular about this place anymore, the owners have not found the quality you would expect from korean food, I would say they arr the best korean food in west temple, well they are only korean place in west temple. Still recommending looking else where for korean food. *update 7/14/22, not sure what is going on there right now, it has started to become a hit or miss, today's meal was a complete miss. The soup tasted sour, the kimchi soup which is one of my favorite dishes had almost zero pork in it a very odd favor, my spouse asked for the bibim Bob but was brought the Dol sot, we brought this up to the waitress nothing was done to make the meal correct. All and all I was charged over 100.00 for food that tasted like it was from the frozen section. I can no longer highly recommend this place and will find another place to eat at. As a local guide and rated the top 10% of Google restaurant reviewers, take my word don't waste your time here. After their opening they have moved up to match their counter part location in Copperas Cove. Really love this place.

Been coming here for years… food is always great, but the service here has drastically declined. The waitresses are not attentive. Tonight was almost our last straw … Found an eyelash in my sushi roll. Soup was cold. They ladle the soup from the crockpot warmer into cups and then put the cups in the microwave to heat them up… what’s the point of the warmer pot then? On top of that, my husband never received his fried rice meal. They even tried to charge us for the fried rice meal that was never brought to us. We never got water refills until she brought us the check at the very end of the meal. The black waitress with the long red dreads needs better training. We don’t even want to come back because of her. No tip and probably won’t be back for months. Thanks for ruining the one good sushi place around here.

Been coming here for several years now. The sushi is very good, the service is repetitively mediocre over the last year(probably just the one server that I seem to get every time). My water is filled when I ask for it to be filled by whoever I can make eye contact with. My server never checks in after the delivery of our meal other than to bring a check. The last several times I’ve been, the soup arrives warm. The soup comes back warm when you ask for a hot soup. Hair found in food on one occasion, seemed like the waitress had to go ask permission from someone else to replace the dish, walked off with a “well this is awkward and idk what to do about this situation vibe”. With a party of two people and only 3 items ordered, one being the main meal, my server didn’t realize I never received my main course until I told her to take it off the bill and there was no attempt at making up for that situation. I’ll say its been a safe bet location for the to go orders I’ve done, but a dice roll on your server.

My husband brought this home tonight, eager to try it because of the reviews. The chicken is DRY and tasteless. No extra sauce, and the small amount of sauce that's in the bottom of the box is WATERY. The vegetables are also hard and uncooked.
