Mr. Jason is an awesome manager who takes pride in taking care of his customers!! Every time I visit Tropical Smoothie located in Temple, Jason always greets me with a smile and make me feel welcomed! Great place to grab a smoothie and say hello to Jason!!
The girl in there is always so nice and has a great attitude! I spilt my smoothie and she happily made another smoothie for me. For sure coming back to this location.
My husband loves going to tropical smoothie. Food and service is amazing
We arrived 6 minutes before closing and they still took our order. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Service is hit and miss. They don't have enough employees working during peak hours. One person making shakes and having to take orders at the same time IS NOT OKAY! Shakes are good. Foods great when it's in stock. Employees are nice. Bathroom clean. My only complaint is why are there no trash cans in your lobby? I like to throw away my trash not just leave it on the table. Lobby is setup like a fast food chain but no trash cans?

I love Tropical Smoothie and was excited to see one come to Temple! The staff has been very friendly staff both times I've gone. My only issue is both times I've placed an online order, and both times something I paid extra for hasn't been added to my meal. Other than that, it's been great!
Today, I had to witness one high schooler dealing with an entire rush. The manager was on his phone in the lobby. He was screaming on speakerphone to someone while customers were coming in. It was unfair, it was unprofessional, and it was an abuse of power. Food was spectacular. I’d rather have the high schooler as the manager than the guy with glasses. She was professional the entire time.

Placed a to-go order for a blueberry smoothie. The girl who made the drink took it and set it down behind the counter. I told her that the drink was mine. She seemed annoyed i said anything. She hands me the drink and the outside of the cup was covered in the smoothie. She didn't bother to wipe it off.
I purchased a chia banana boost smoothie. I asked if all of the ingredients were listed on the board, and I was told yes. My smoothie had a good flavor, but it was SO sweet. Evidently, they add turbinado sugar to all of their smoothies. I would have asked to have it left out had I been told that sugar was NOT listed as an ingredient.

We used to love this place and come several times a week. Its slowly been leaving us a bit more disappointed each time but today was the final blow. We thought we'd redeem the free smoothie promo. We got 3 food items with sides, and 3 smoothies. It cost over $50 with the free smoothie. As we were walking out, We notice we did not receive our sides. We were told there were no sides available unless we pay extra for the premium side. No thanks. So we get home and the supergreen wrap is overcooked and tough on the outside. I was annoyed by that so I went to the website and filled out their comments, not wanting to publicly complain if it was something of a fluke, but then later, about halfway through my smoothie, I find a piece of metal in it. $50 in the trash. We won't be returning.
Walked in at about 3:35pm today. Walked up to the register ready to redeem my rewards, no one acknowledged me, they looked at me weird and kept making orders. There were 2 people behind counter. One guy and another lady with do rag....Another customer, who is white, walks in and the lady speaks to him and welcomes him. I Didn't feel welcomed so I left after standing there looking dumb and unacknowledged.
I’m extremely disappointed in how this Smoothie King location is being managed, especially under the owner, Laura. Over the past few months, she has fired multiple amazing employees without any explanation including Jason, a general manager we truly appreciated, along with Misty, Kylie, and Ari. These team members always made my smoothies perfectly and treated customers with care. Now, the atmosphere and service have drastically changed. To make matters worse, when I recently voiced my concerns, one of the shift leads actually told me to take my money elsewhere.That was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful especially considering I’ve been one of their most loyal customers since they reopened. I’ve even tried calling several times to speak directly with Laura, and each time I was either ignored or hung up on. That is not how customers should be treated. If this is how she chooses to run her stores, then something needs to change or these locations don’t deserve to stay open. Loyal customers and hardworking employees both deserve better.

I used to love coming here on my lunch break or days off, but now I’d much rather take my money to Smoothie King or Bahama bucks ! The service has become terrible, and management seems to have stopped properly training staff. Laura, the owner, has fired several great employees recently the ones who actually cared and knew what they were doing. Since then, it feels like there’s no structure, and employees are just doing whatever they want. Most importantly, during a recent visit, I let them know I was allergic to mango and yet they still gave me a smoothie containing mango. I ended up having an allergic reaction, which could’ve been very dangerous. That kind of mistake is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of attention to customer safety. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but I can’t say that anymore. The quality, service, and overall environment have gone way down. Very disappointing.
Been to this location about 5 times since it opened. Typically I walk in and order my smoothie but today I ordered through the app. My single smoothie was ordered at 1:09 and promised at 1:19 but I did not receive it until 1:51, when I asked about it for the 3rd time. There were only 2 people working. One person was an older man with glasses and he was very frustrated about everything. The young lady that was working was very patient with everyone but she did not prioritize very well and kept taking new orders instead of fulfilling the waiting orders. She may be new and learning, since I have not seen her before. I haven't seen the same people since thus place opened. Not sure when ai will return.
I do not write reviews often, but I feel like I should because of how unfairly this store operates. The big white man with glasses is clearly a manager of some sort, yet the many times I have been there, I have never seen him do a single thing by himself. He always needs someone to help him or finish it and he is always on his phone or in the lobby. It makes me feel horrible for the younger people actually working their behinds off and are definitely making less than he is. I will not return to this store if he is there. It is extremely unfair and is giving young children the wrong idea of how to be a good manager.
Would have been a 0 star but that option not available . Stop by for the 1st time yesterday morning and was very disappointed no customer service skills at all 2ladys not even acknowledge that I was there then finally they took my order gave them a $50 they look at it and said they don’t take $50 no where on the door dose it say y’all do not take a $50 went ahead and pay with my card very disappointed very nasty smoothie will never ever come back I’ll stick to smoothie king
i ordered a smoothie from here and specifically the banana chocolate one because it sounded best out of the <10 options and it tasted like ice and chocolate and barely even tasted like chocolate. took a while to get it aswell, but the employees were pretty nice.
Will never go here after hearing that kids need off for school activities and then getting fired. That is just wrong not letting people off for having after school activities. The manager is just wrong for doing this.
Services was great I was so excited for this place to open order the Acai bowl for me and the hubby $26 for two bowls tell me why there was barely any acai the bowl was so skimpy it wasn’t even filled to the top at all very tasty but disappointed ☹️ that it wasn’t like the picture barely anything in the bowl and they forgot our spoons

I came in today and attempted to use a free reward which had no restrictions and still denied the smoothie I wanted. I asked for one they could make work as long as it had bananas. The owners both were there and the female owner was actually part of the interaction... I instead was served a very different smoothie with no banana and strawberry which I cannot have. I informed the owner and honestly the customer service was very poor to say the least. His response was dont worry I own 3 of these stores as if my business isn't important. I will not return not that it matters since he is so wealthy that customer service does not matter. Very disappointed.. Update: I was left a voicemail for my complaint and was not helped. And my options to be clear were to somehow bring a thrown away smoothie that had something I was allergic to a day after calling ? A simple fix to the smoothie would have been great and not resulted in any reviews other than my common 5 star reviews if leaving one. Just to add... watching the smoothie sit in the blender for a few minutes after also expressing I was on a time crunch while the other owner and 2 employees discussed business was very unprofessional
I came in today at the location on adams in.Temple and purchased two of the peanut butter.Smoothies and asked for chia seeds in both of them today.For some reason, it seemed like it was more icy than flavorful.And neither one of our drinks had chia seeds
