Roasted Duck by Pa Ord

Duck is tasty. Compared to Chinese roast duck over rice, the sauce is sweeter and the skin is flabbier. Meat is nice and the boneless presentation was luxurious. Lots of sauce on top of the rice.

Liked the roasted duck over rice and spicy basil duck (even minimum spice is a little spicy) best. The sauce with the dry jade noodles with duck was a little sweet for me. Really nice people. A few seats inside along the bar and a couple small tables, and a little outdoor table. We got ours to-go and ate at Barnsdall Art Park. Bring cash for a discount. Our original bill was almost $68 and with cash it was $60. Small parking lot that's shared with other businesses.

Got the $40 half duck combo with 2 choices of jade noodles or rice! Super duper yummy and came with plenty of meat.

Absolute gem. The elderly staff running the place are so sweet. Get the roasted basil duck medium spicy, and roasted duck curry. Duck fried rice was good but nothing to write home about. It’s cramped and not many tables, so prepare to wait, be intimate, or order to-go.

There are 3 tables and bar seating inside and 2 tables outside. A lot of orders were being picked up which means the place is pretty popular! The duck was good, we got half a duck for 2 order and it was just the right amount, with full bellies but not wasting food or boxing it to go. Overall would recommend this place! Thank you for a great meal!

Don't get anything else but the duck because it's out of this world. The meat? Tender. The sauce? Impeccable. The spicy oil? Optional. The rice and noodles? Not enough. Bring cash! The restaurant isn't too big so come early or be prepared to wait (but it won't be long).

I always dream about this place… the roasted duck noodle soup with rice noodles is the best. The duck is so tender and soup has a great rich flavor. Also I tried the roasted duck salad for the first time, very refreshing and great flavor!

This Thai-style roast Duck is more flavorful than your usual cantonese roast duck. Pair with the Jade noodle and come early. i went for dinner once and they ran out of duck even before 7pm!

I’ve lived in LA for over 7 years and have tried every restaurant from cheap eats to Michelin stars and this is one of my top 3 favorite!!!! The roast duck is incredible I can’t even describe it. Ask for egg noodles too and lots of Thai chilis. The service is so kind and friendly and fast!! Only downside is parking lot is small and street parking can take a few laps but it’s worth the effort. I bring every friend here and they’re as obsessed as I am.

Such a little hole-in-the-wall gem. We walked in around 8 p.m. and everything we ordered was so good. The roasted duck was amazing, super flavorful and savory. We also got the papaya salad and it was bomb. We tried another dish too that was more on the sweet side, and that one was really good as well. The server was so kind and friendly and helped recommend what we should try, which made the experience even better. Sadly, the jade noodles were already sold out when we got there, which made us a little sad… but that just means we’re definitely coming back. Hidden gem for sure

It was salty at first, but after a while, it kinda' just blended in, and was all good --definitely order the pork WITH the rice, it helps with the salt and absorbing the yummy oils. Now, the curry was great in flavor, BUT I much prefer a more gravy texture curry, while the curry here is more like a soup. But hey, I'd still pour it over my rice, and eat it up! If you don't like the cramped seating, definitely get it for takeout! Can't go wrong!

The roasted duck is the best, everyone must come and try it!!

The food here is amazing and I'll recommend it to everyone, even if they don't like duck because they will after they've had a meal here. I came with a friend and we got the steak salad, the single serving of duck with noodles, and the roast duck noodle soup. Please get the roast duck noodle soup as spicy as you can handle because the pain is soo worth it. The seating is pretty limited but don't let that keep you from bringing friends with you; the food is too good to not be shared.

This hole-in-the-wall Thai Town spot in East Hollywood is all about the roasted duck—juicy, tender, well seasoned, and not too oily. They have your standard Thai dishes like pad see ew and papaya salad, which are decent, but nothing special. Loved the variety of hot sauces and pickled chilis! Authentic flavors and quick and friendly service, though English is limited. Tiny space, so there can be a wait if you come at the wrong time. Parking is tough. A bit pricey at around $40 per person ($25-30 if you go light), but worth it if you’re craving that duck! Would come back if I'm passing by.

Roasted Duck is better than most of the Chinese ones to the east. The duck is tender and well marinated, juciy. They give you extra sauce and dont waste a single drop for they are good for any rice and noodle dishes. The potion is definitely on the small side, $25 duck & rice is barely enough.

Seriously, people? Have you guys never had good food? The portions here are tiny, and the flavors are poor. The duck was dry — not tender, not juicy. The diced garlic tasted like it was fried in old oil (probably reused way too many times — you can really tell). Suprisingly the drunken noodles are great. The outdoor seating area was dirty, and there were mosquitos everywhere. Service was slow and unhelpful. Honestly, any Thai, Chinese, or Viet BBQ restaurant or even Ranch 99 food counter could do better. I actually love hole-in-the-wall places when they have heart and good food, but this place just pretends to have that vibe — without delivering on anything. Definitely not worth the hype or the price.
