Defintely a bar for beer lovers! Over 40 beers on tap ❤ but if you show up around 9ish they are slightly less attentive due to the volume of costumers. Id recommend ordering at the bar but the biggest plus are the pool yables and games upstairs!
Great place for a good steak and a fine glass of wine. I visited last Friday, and was glad I made a reservation as the place was packed. The service was good, and food was served promptly, despite it being a busy night. I have to return to have the Filet Mignon.
I am a black female who use to live next door in the old brick building and I use to eat there a lot. The owner Jesse is very kind and accommodating. This is a nice place to hang out and to go for a drink. Everything is reasonable. The food is good and reasonable. Jesse is very kind and we should support him in Covid times.
Great bar that goes all out for big sports events. I've watched many world cup matches here and it's always a great crowd. Get there early if you want good seats on big game days though.
2nd visit and to a large 2-story sports-themed barn-like structure that's served some pretty good food but more importantly, has 84 different beers on tap. Yes, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and hard-working.
Eye opening beer selection and friendly staff. Great sports watching venue. Going to come back and play some tunes on their loud jukebox!
A very, very nice experience and the best bartender Agatha she is AWESOME and the waiter Pedro assisting are an amazing team I really recommend the place when she's there
This place is Bombay....our waitress made fire dink happy hour off the chain....touchtunes had the tunes.....most deff spot to do happy hour......them old fashone no joke during happy hour...... Buzz buzz!

Great pub with huge TV screens for sports watching. Typical pub food but they also have accommodations for gluten-free options. You can also order from the Indian restaurant next door and have it delivered by the same crew. They have happy hour options which are great deals. The staff are friendly and the management is very helpful. Also they have very safe socially distant covet protected outdoor seating. It's a great Los Feliz spot to watch a game or have happy hour.
One of the best NFL football experiences in my lifetime. The bartenders we're super cool & attentive, generous pours on their drinks. Everyone there was happy to be there + my Niners winning probably put me in an even BETTER mood. I'll be back again!!!!
Great place to sit and have a lunch beer. Went in on a Friday afternoon and it was quiet. Ordered garlic fries and a double ipa, both were delicious. Bar tender was nice, maybe a little quiet. Would definitely recommend this bar!

Really glad to try this place out! They have one of my favorite beers on tap (Alesmith's Horny Devil) and delicious pub classics, as well as a good variety of vegetarian options. Also expected it to be more expensive than it was.. nice perk!
Good selection of beer and a lot of TVS. During quarantine, they are doing forehead temperature scans, hand sanitizer, sidewalk seating and wall-posted, shortened menus. A good local sports bar.
Nice surprise, It's actually not super loud for a sports pub.. It's not quite a full on sports bar vibe. And, if you're not in the mood for a full on yupster vibe (read: people, so out of it, still thinking being a hipster is what makes you an edgelord and/or relevant) this is a good choice.
If sports and beer are your thing, then you have found a place to spend watching the match with a group of friends and friendly strangers! They have countless televisions in a two floor pub. They are bound to have your team playing on one of those screens. I lost count trying to count the taps of beer so have fun trying them all. The food is good bar fare food. The steak with chimichurri sauce Is a must try. I'm still working on trying out all their food choices and beer! Enjoy!
Public House pub is my go to bar to watch NBA games or any sports. They have good bar food, entrees and a Happy hour. Staff are friendly and competent. Indoor and outdoor seats are spacious.
It's a decent bar. Very good neighborhood, acceptable service and food, always crowded, but not too crowded, various games, and parking nearby. It has all the ingredients of a decent bar. Also they have a yard in the back where you can smoke if you want to.
Nice pub with massive selection of beer on tap. Ordered a burrito which was good. Plenty of tv's for watching sport plus pool tables etc upstairs. Beer is pretty pricey so that is the only reason it lost a star for me.
Alfred Hitchcock's "The Flies". I had to keep swatting with my hand to keep the swarm off my meal (not first time). Otherwise, food is good, service awesome, crowd awesome. I hope Public House reads this and does something about the flies; because the place, without a doubt, deserves to otherwise stay in business: They're really good people that provide excellent service.
Stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to watch some Sunday Night Football. First impression, where the heck do I park? There is some street metered parking, but good luck finding a spot. This place is surrounding by other small restaurants and shopping. However, very near by I found a $5 parking lot. I was really impressed when I walked in and saw lots of TVs to watch the game from. My friend and I were were able to seat ourselves and we decided with the upstairs area. Its really cool, they have tons of pool tables up there and seating everywhere. We were greeted by a really nice waitress who immediately brought us some waters. They have a very large selection of beers, which is great for the beer lovers. Unfortunately the prices are not listed for the beers, but our waitress told us they range from about $8-9 for a pint. Not too shabby, but I do know of other places that have better deals. I highly recommend the Weihenstephaner Vitus, if you are into Hefs. So delicious! The nachos with chicken were soooooo bomb! I havent had really good nachos like that in a while. I wish they had guacamole, but I was still very happy with the taste and the large amount of cheese they put on them. My friend got herself a burger and fries, which she also said was delicious. Prices were typical. My nachos with the chicken came out to $9. Overall, this place is a cool spot to watch some sports, enjoy a good beer, and some food. Maybe shoot some pool too!. Parking sucks and the beer is a bit overpriced (maybe better during happy hour, which they do not have on the weekends).
I like it because it is close. Good beer selection. Food not bad and cool place and nice area. ONLY complaint is some times the help have attitudes. Not all of them but enough to mention. Also I understand if a big game is on people might want to watch it hear it and not hear the music from the juke box but they play games more then they play the music it seems. Even if it's a minor game and not many people care to HEAR the game they still cut off the music. That's a bummer for me. lol.
4.5 stars want an option but that's my overall review for daytime experiences. Food is a bit pricey and salty. Bartend-ress named Whiskey is one of my all time favorites. I am happy to have rediscovered her attending at this place!
Great place for sports. Good menu for a sports bar. Service can be slow when important games are on but it is understandable.

It's a good local pub. Lots of ample seating. Service is takes awhile and not the most attentive but this comes in part from being a pretty large venue. For me, it's a little loud to have a conversation without needing to raise your voice even when there's no sporting event. Still, I recommend it for decent food, a good beer selection and a nice assortment of games (pool, arcades and I think there may be darts).
Good local sports bar with an amazing selection of beer, lots of booths, and areas for large groups. The food is standard bar food, and tastes great, but it's the selection of beers that really stand's out. I'm not a sports guy, but I do enjoy returning to this place.
Big open space with plenty of TV's to watch the games. Friendly and attentive staff on hand. There is outdoor seating as well. I went on a Saturday, mid-afternoon and it wasn't too bad. The food was traditional bar food. Nothing quite special or interesting about it. I had the nacho burger with french fries. Both tasted like frozen food. This place looks like it could really do well using fresher ingredients in their menu offering.
A pretty solid sports bar with other fun activities, like pool, trivia nights and other games. The food isn't anything spectacular. A pretty broad range in types and styles; pizza, burgers, pastas, chicken dishes, etc. There is a huge beer tap selection, which makes trying new beers fun and usually something for everyone. A lot of TVs so easy to catch any game that is on somewhere in the bar, plus a good layout to see a lot of the TVs at once.
A good place to go for casual drinks and a bite. Their selection is pretty big, so most people can find something to eat and drink. It can get kind of loud and hot when they do trivia and such, and sometimes the service can be a bit slow if you're not at the bar, but if you're not in a hurry, it's a great place to hang out.
Nice quiet upstairs, great atmosphere which changes between an upbeat downstairs, and a chatty intimate upstairs. Great bar for parties of 2-6. Whether you're coming for a sports game or just to have a nice chat with your pals, this bar can accommodate everyone. It's even got some billiard tables and air hockey upstairs for some fun competition!
Sports bar near my work with a bunch of big screen TVs and a good selection of alcoholic beverages. The pizza there was pretty good but the fish and chips were below average. Bar tender and waitresses were friendly and helpful.
This has been my local pub for some years now. It's a great spot for major sports events year round. They even adjust opening hours accordingly - I've had a beer here while watching 8am World Cup matches! Food is better than I expect at a bar. They have sidewalk tables that are great for having an afternoon beer with my dog. Good beer selection and full bar. Only gripe is the service can be slow, maybe they don't have enough staff, and sometimes it's confusing whether you should order at a bar or sit and wait for a server. They haven't offered the free pizza during happy hour for years.
One of my favorite spots to watch sports and get a good beer. They have an incredible beer selection with rotating and seasonal options. I would give it a full 5 stars, unfortunately the bartenders can be inattentive at times. The food has always been delicious and quick! Hats off to the kitchen staff! If you’re in the area or going to visit LA it’s worth a look! Even if you’re stopping for a quick drink you should. There’s a very nice rustic atmosphere and aesthetic. Happy hour has some good deals as well!

They have a great variety of beers and the price is decent I suppose $6 a glass. I would give them more stars but they never show a fight(ufc, boxing etc) its a sports bar with lots of tvs. So much potential!
The Public House is a big sports bar with large TVs, pool tables, and a few arcade games. It attracts bros and jocks but the crowd isn't aggressive by any means. The real beauty of the place is the endless different kinds of beers offered.
Public house is a good place to grab a beer and play some triva on a Wednesday. The food isn't the best. Think way too much cheese on the pizza, the slices just flop around and grease is plentiful. The atmosphere is fun and there's plenty of room for large groups, including an upstairs which features some arcade games. I'd grab a drink here and then head across the street for better food.
Have enjoyed their fish and chips. It used to be a great deal for $10 and the fish batter was nice and crispy. This last time it was $12 and the batter was no longer crispy, so I didn't enjoy it as usual. Hopefully it was just this time. Maybe I'll try the shepherd's pie next time.
Great beer selection and decent food. I'm not a sports guy and there's not a single place in this pub that you're eyes are not assaulted by big screen TVs (1/2 of which are getting low res feed) always leave with a headache.
The food is terrible here. The spinach artichoke dip tasted burnt. The pizza was bland... a lump of pale bread with cheese, but there was just zero flavor in the sauce, the bread, or the cheese. so bad. it was not even worth the happy hour price of $2 with beer purchase (and it used to be free??) But if you must, if you MUST eat something here, I thought the chicken wings were tasty. And I guess you can't go wrong with french fries and dipping sauces. Now, as a hang out place, it's pretty fun. There are two levels. We were seated upstairs along the rail, so you get a straight eye-level view of the row of TVs above the bar down below. You can also get a clear view of the bar and see what's going on with your drinks. Yeah that's another thing, the drinks took a while sometime. We were looking down and saw our drinks on a tray sitting on the bar for a while before the server brought them up. Service was just alright. Upstairs has pool tables (you have to pay of course), and we went on a wednesday. It turns out they have trivia on Wednesdays! Our group wasn't very good. They were too busy playing pool. but it's ok it's ok, we tried our best. I still don't even know what you win... but people were hardcore about it. Your team gets points, you rack up points on their website...?!?! I don't know. I had fun. Drink all you want, just don't eat here.
This review is while we're still under COVID-19 protocols. There are limited beer and food options but still plenty of options to keep you satisfied. They have beers from light to dark. Plenty of liquor all of flavors and varieties. The food is bar food - and I'll leave it at that. The staff is amenable and helpful. They also are on-top of cleaning up before, after and during your visit. I felt like the cleaning measures were good.
Idk what happened to this place…. Food was fine. Beer was flat and expensive. Service was fine. Bathrooms were hideous. One sink just straight up pours water out the back and onto the floor. A ball of hair and dust was hanging from the ceiling above our table and I was so distracted by it …. I will go back because there’s a lack of good football bars in the area but …. I won’t be looking forward to it. I used to love coming to this place! Such a bummer. Also don’t get why they haven’t put the booths back in the patio so you can eat and watch a game outside but not on the front sidewalk….
I rated the food poor/fair...but to be fair I only had the fried calamari. I found it bland and plain. The sauce was a little salvation. To drink, I was there for happy hour and I had Dos Equis pints, the happy hour rate was 5 bucks a piece. I thought that was a bit steep. They do have nice TVs and atmosphere, its a good place to watch game.

I always leave tip, but the service was not as welcoming. We had to remind them we wanted to order food and they didn’t let us sit where we wanted even though it wasn’t full. Without my consent they still deducted the 15% of tip. They also charged my friend more for her meal even when the menu said it was another price, he fixed that but kept excusing the price. I called the owner about the tip and instead of saying it was not right of them to do, he only said that probably a worker charged tip because there’s people that don’t tip even when the service is good. He promised to adjust the charge to my card but he never did.
Super disappointed with this place. This used to be one of my favorite places but it seems it has been taken over by new management. The food is terrible, service is not that great either. They cheapened the menu to basically all fried food , it’s as if they were saying “these Americans won’t know the difference, it’s fried food!” Well I definitely noticed....Bring back the old staff and food and don’t cheapen the menu. You guys ruined what used to be an incredible place.
The first time my wife and I ate there, it was okay. Burgers and beer. Second time was horrible. There is a sign in front that tells you to seat yourself. My wife and I sat down. We waited for about 20 minutes. In that 20 minutes, not one single member of the waiting staff came by to ask if we wanted a drink or an appetizer. Mind you, it wasn't like there was a line out the door. It wasn't that busy. AND as I was coming back from the restroom, I saw three servers congregated in the corner talking and laughing. So obviously they weren't that overwhelmed with business. Needless to say, it was just obnoxious how rude they were by blatantly ignoring us. My wife and I finally got up and left. We ended up eating at the Mediterranean place next door. I think it was called the Sidewalk Cafe. Pretty good.
This is a bad bar in a great neighborhood. I'm here a lot, but this bar is bad. I think that's the story with most people at this bar. They were doing something cool nearby and then decided to get a drink after and this bar was just close. It's loud and there's a huge bar but only ever one or two bartenders who are doing their best but there's usually just too many people to get your drink quickly. And it's a sports bar, so the place is mostly lit by the 50 televisions and I don't know, it's a weird vibe.

The sign at the entrance says grab a menu and take a seat and that servers on duty. The server completely ignored us for 20 minutes. Never came to us and very obviously avoided eye contact. I finally stopped her and asked her about ordering and she says you can order at the bar and walked away. How rude. Very rude. We walked out. 01-18-2020 at about 4:00 pm
My husband and I went to this bar/resturant tonight looking to have a few beers and dinner. The sign at the hostess station said grab a menu and seat yourself. We took a seat at one of the tables across from the bar. The waitress walked by us several times but never acknowledge us. Even the bartender wouldn't make eye contact. This went on for about 15 minutes and we felt very unwelcome so we finally left. This was the best decision as we went a few shops down to the Sidewalk Grill and had an amazing dinner. I would not recommend this bar/resturant unless bar rescue came to their aid.
Pros: Incredible selection of beers on tap (I’d estimate close to 50, no joke) Cons: Pretty much everything else. Being a pretty serious beer enthusiast, I feel in love the moment I walked in and saw all the taps. Despite the fact that they had me the moment I walked in, I’m not sure I ever want to come back here. This is why: First of all, girls behind the bar were hired probably for their looks. I say this because they sure as hell weren’t hired for their congeniality, speed of service or knowledge of beer. Not only were they pretty rude and unfriendly, they were extremely slow and didn’t really know anything about the beers other than, “well that one’s darker, so if you like dark beers you might like that one.” Uh, thanks, I realize that because it says on the menu that it’s a STOUT. There’s no excuse for the slowness either, it’s not like they were rushing to get everyone’s orders. There was a lot of standing around and talking to each other mixed in with texting and ignoring the customers. Even the bouncer was rude for no reason! I know you’re one of the few places in Los Angeles with a serious beer selection, but that doesn’t allow your establishment to treat your patrons like crap. I’d love to come back, but I as much as I love beer, I don’t love it enough to put up with such offensive service.
Hello, good evening everyone. It's unfortunate that you everyone's reviews didn't match my experience. Waitresses were absolutely amazing, however it took 2 hours to receive our food after multiple reminders. We were a group of 9 and were told "that we had to pay up" when there were groups of 10-15 right next to us and were not cut off. I were no belligerent or had a credit card that would not process. Management seem to single us out for who knows which reason. Once we aksed them to explain why we.were cut off ? They did not have answer.
The service was bad, but we thought it might of been because it was packed with Super Bowl fans. the food kept coming out around us though. Then to our surprise, we were asked to close out our tab half way through the 3rd quarter by a rude waitress. I asked the owner’s wife why. She had no answer. The manager came over said it’s policy to do so when you reach $800. We were slightly below that. Then owner comes over, tells me they’ve been robbed by customers that don’t pay their tab and it’s policy to do so after $500. Discrepancy of bull. He cussed out his manager and called his waitress ignorant because she speaks Spanish “and doesn’t know better”. If he can’t respect his employees, I can’t expect customers to be treated fairly without being criminalized.
