Services was amazing from start to end. Samantha was a fantastic server and the food and drinks were delicious. I'd reccomend outdoor seating as it was very crowded indoors. We ended up getting an espresso martini and their cucumber refresher for drinks. Usually I don't like cucumber drinks because they are normally almost flavorless, but it was really good. Their spinach artichoke dip was also phenominal. I got the chicken milanese and it was some of the best chicken i've ever had.

Ate outside with a couple of buddies and the meal was fantastic. The calamari (and a couple of hidden shrimp) was out of this world. The mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts perfectly complimented the steak special which was cooked perfectly to order. There are more expensive steak places in the area but I cannot recommend spending the money at them when this place is an option. Go here.

We celebrated our office 2025 Law Office Christmas party at Hearsay on the Waterway, and it was our first time dining there. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a holiday gathering. My meal consisted of: • Chicken Milanese: The panko-crusted chicken breast was cooked to perfection. Paired with tomato, capers, artichoke, garlic blistered green beans, and a lemon cream sauce, this dish was beautifully balanced and full of flavor. • Gouda Mac & Cheese: Creamy and comforting, though it could have used a touch more Gouda and seasoning to really elevate the flavor. Still a tasty side overall. • Bacon Brussels Sprouts: Absolutely scrumptious. The combination of bacon and vinaigrette made this dish a standout. Our waitress, Taryn, was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and made the evening even more enjoyable. Service like hers makes all the difference. Overall, Hearsay on the Waterway delivered a memorable experience, and we definitely plan to return.

My husband and I came here as a part of our anniversary celebration. They were so kind and attentive. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary! We were really happy with the food. Specifically the cheesesteak egg rolls as our appetizer… AMAZING. The atmosphere specifically was our favorite. I would definitely recommend this place for a date night!

Great spot! Food is spectacular. Sweet and unseeet black tea instead of just regular tea was amazing. Redfish tacos gluten-free were so delicious! Bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with crab on a bed of creamy creole grits.. mouth watering 😋

Dayton was incredible. Gumbo was impeccable’ Recommended the best food and pairings. We had the redfish and braised short rib which were outstanding. He also got the music changed to something more atmospheric because it was teeny bopper music and we thought it didn’t really fit the vibes here. Manager came over and we had bread pudding on the house. We will be back!

It was great, and the food was even better the next day. We ordered the artisan bread board and the wagyu meatballs for appetizers. For our entrees I got the bacon wrapped shrimp and grits and my wife got the crabs crusted redfish. We got the espresso mock-tini and the mock-arita for drinks and the basque cheesecake cake and bread pudding for dessert. I think in total it was $150 for all of that. I wasn’t a huge fan of the cheesecake but everything else was good and like I said it was even better the next day. Seemed like pretty much everything had a little kick to it, but it wasn’t terrible just caught us off guard here and there 😂 our server and the hostess was awesome

I attended an industry happy hour here following a conference. Overall, they handled our large party very well and especially killed the happy hour food. The food was so good especially considering it was food prepared for a happy hour event. Drink selection was good as well. The only thing I would have a slight complaint about is that we had to wait a while for our drinks with a big reason being that the bartenders were just talking and hanging out between themselves. Other than that, Hearsay killed it and it’s even better that they’re located right off the waterway got a nice walk.

An absolutely beautiful restaurant with brick walls and massive chandelier. The ambient lighting along with soft music was wonderful. The food was delicious and timed perfectly between appetizers, main entree, and dessert. I had the short ribs with sweet potatoe mash...delish 😋This location is great for all outings in downtown Houston.

On a Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m., we arrived at this restaurant with a rather disappointing initial impression. We waited patiently at the check-in table for an extended period, but no one approached us. The place seemed empty, as evidenced by the picture I took. After several minutes of waiting, I ventured to the outdoor back area and spotted a busboy. I inquired about finding a table, and he led me back to the bar where the hostess was engrossed in a conversation with a friend. Fortunately, she promptly found us a lovely table. However, our experience took a significant turn for the better when our server, James, arrived and greeted us with a warm and positive demeanor. He immediately made us feel welcome and attentive. James was well-versed in the menu and recommended some delectable dishes. Let’s start with the appetizer: the Kung Pao Shrimp and Calamari. It was an absolute delight, bursting with flavor and generously coated in extra Kung Pao sauce. The dish was a true culinary masterpiece. Moving on to the salad, we opted for the Avocado and Cucumber salad. It was refreshing and flavorful, with a perfect balance of textures. But the pièce de resistance of our meal was the Crab Crusted Redfish. Oh my goodness, it was simply incredible! The fish was incredibly tender, and the lemon butter sauce was simply divine. It was a dish that left us craving more.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and the atmosphere inside was absolutely wonderful. The vibes were fantastic, and the location is definitely a major highlight. I ordered the “Pear of Aces” cocktail, but unfortunately, it didn’t sit well with me. It had a burnt aftertaste, and I started feeling a burning sensation shortly after drinking it. It just wasn’t enjoyable at all. That said, the food was really good and made up for the disappointing drink. Overall, while I wasn’t impressed with the drinks, the ambiance and food made it a nice experience.
