Ho pranzato un paio di settimane fa presso questo ristorante con la mia famiglia e alcuni amici. Mi ricordavo l atmosfera casalinga e familiare ma ho ritrovato un luogo ancora più piacevole e accogliente. Il personale gentile e premuroso e i piatti ottimi e abbondanti. Costo in linea con la qualità.

A noi è piaciuto tuto. Servizio ottimo Qualità cibo ottima (molto saporito) Risotto per me top, il mio compagno che ama la pasta al dente e più salato ha trovato ottimi gli spaghetti cacio e pepe. Lo stracotto si tagliava con la forchetta . Tiramisù ...un po' lento ma sapore ottimo. Consigliamo.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, where I tasted some delicious dishes. The wine list caters to every need, although they served the two bottles we ordered at the same time rather than spreading them out throughout the meal. Fassina's tartare was balanced and flavorful, with a light balsamic note. The gnocchi were delicate, and the two textures of the turnip tops, pureed and whole, along with the aromatic cheese, were particularly pleasing with the pickled tomatoes and anchovies.

"Sunday Lunch in the Garden": that would be the title of this review. It could also be "Welcome Home," because that's the idea that comes to mind every time I return to De Amicis. I've been coming here for at least 12 years, and I always return with great pleasure. This time, we were also fortunate to enjoy a beautiful, sunny Sunday in late October, allowing us to have lunch in the garden, on the terrace, enjoying the autumn sunshine. The welcome, the service, everything was perfect, as always. Martino and his team pampered us. In the kitchen, a young chef whose dishes I hadn't yet had the chance to try. So, let's begin. A pumpkin crumble as an appetizer, very interesting, with a salsa verde that pairs perfectly. The unmissable Caccio e Pepe: we're in a restaurant serving Piedmontese cuisine with Roman roots. Saltimbocca alla romana, a traditional dish with a slight twist, generously proportioned, and incredibly tasty. A dish that won me over! Then there are the desserts, all delicious (I recommend Non è una tarte tatin). The well-stocked wine list leaves no doubt as to the perfect pairing. And so flew by this lunch with friends at De Amicis, an experience not to be missed on one of Turin's most beautiful outdoor terraces...

We arrived on Sunday without a reservation and they luckily found a table for us. Absolutely everything we ordered was delicious and the staff were charming and thoughtful. A must visit, try their cacio e pepe. One of the best in Turin!

La prima volta. Locale antico ma si vede che è amato poiché si nota che è rimasto "vivo", vissuto. Il menù è giusto: non troppe proposte ma nemmeno poche quindi si può scegliere velocemente senza troppi imbarazzi. Giusta la carta dei vini e la materia prima impiegata in cucina è davvero buona. Cortesia durante il servizio. Un suggerimento, in certi momenti ho notato un pochino di tensione tra chi serviva (dispiace perché il posto è proprio gradevole)..forse una persona in più sarebbe stata la soluzione (almeno la domenica a pranzo). Comunque mi avete conquistata e tornerò. Ho gradito i lampadari creati con bottigliette di Crodino.

Drawn to Roman cuisine, I want to try this place. Let me start by saying that their cacio e pepe is truly a special dish worth trying, very tasty and flavorful, creamy and well-seasoned, just as it should be, made by expert hands. For me, Roman pasta dishes should also have plenty of sauce, so you can mop up the sauce with it, and here I lived up to expectations. Overall, every dish is very good, everything is truly well-made, both the appetizers and the first courses, and there's a nice selection of wines. What I wasn't thrilled with were the portion sizes of some of the dishes, the menu featuring few typical dishes, but that's just my personal opinion; I'm assured, however, that it changes frequently to ensure the freshness of the ingredients; and finally, the bill, which isn't exactly cheap. When it's on the menu, I'm very curious to come and try the carbonara.

Ho ordinato un carciofo alla romana e a seguire un risotto ai funghi porcini. Dopo una lunga attesa per l’antipasto mi arriva un carciofo completamente insipido. Poi un attesa infinita tra l’antipasto e la prima portata, il cameriere mi porta un risotto ai carciofi informandomi che il risotto ai funghi era terminato e “probabilmente” si era dimenticato di comunicarmelo al momento dell’ordinazione. Risotto avanti di cottura e poco saporito, ma soprattutto non era la portata ordinata.

Honestly, a huge disappointment: starting with the crumb-stained table, the evening didn't start well. After a while, we found ourselves surrounded by flies buzzing around us and the food... definitely not pleasant. Some of these little bugs even ended up in our wine glass: we pointed this out to the waiters, who barely apologized and brought us a clean one. Everything was fine, but the wine was finished, so what was the point? I pointed this out again to the waiter, who didn't even bother to respond, thank you! The appetizers (raw meat and pumpkin with guanciale and taleggio) and first course (agnolotti) were good, perhaps the only redeeming feature of the evening. We had two Turin starter menus (meat, agnolotti, tiramisu). Dessert was the other surprise of the evening: the dessert they brought wasn't tiramisu, but a chocolate mousse with fruit. My girlfriend asked the waitress to change her dessert for a tiramisu. The waitress admitted she forgot to inform us that the dessert included in the smart menu wouldn't be tiramisu. Instead, I decided to eat the dessert that came with it. The surprises didn't end there: they charged us for the "extra" tiramisu they brought, which was supposed to be included in the menu! As for the glass full of insects, not even a small discount, which would have at least served as an "apology" for the inconvenience! In short, 112 euros that we could have spent better elsewhere... definitely never here again 😃
