Love Jacks pizza. Been coming here for 20+ years and the pizza and food is always great and hopefully will be for another 20+ years. Definitely my go to for pizza, pasta and subs. Everything on the menu tastes great.

Jack’s is the best. If you haven’t been there, do yourself a favor stop in. It’s a staple for locals. I go every Friday to pick up a Spartan Special. They serve great food, with great service, and they support the athletes from South that they feed. Great place, great people.

Love their meatball sandwich! It's my go to comfort food from them. The pastrami is also a good deal... every time we've had it the meat was flavorful and tender. The owner and staff are friendly and courteous. Very happy to support a local business that provides quality food at a decent price.

My fav joint during the mid to late 1980's. My go-to item was spaghetti with meatballs. I've also had pizza slices there over those four years. The old Jack used to call me by my first name. Wonderful memories there. Best wishes from Japan! Hiro

Review for Jack’s Pizza (Torrance, CA) From the very first bite at the tip of the slice, your mouth explodes with the robust flavor of their tomato sauce — rich, savory, and reminiscent of authentic Sicilian-style pizza. The crust is that perfect balance: not too thick, not too thin, with the authentic “water crust” texture that folds in half without falling apart. Everything stays on the slice just like it should. The cheese is perfectly distributed — not skimpy, not overloaded — and every bite is balanced and satisfying. You’ll probably eat the crust on your first slice (maybe even your second), because it’s that good. By the third, you might tap out, but only because you’re full and happy. This is true neighborhood pizzeria quality — classic, flavorful, and done right. I’m super stoked I found this place. Definitely worth a mention and a visit.

Pizza was very good, working in the area and my men eat it everyday. Had a turkey sandwich today toasted. Was good but a bit dry.

This, by far, is the best pizza place. The bread is soft with a homemade taste. They put just enough seasoning in the tomatoes sauce where you can actually taste the oregano. Whenever I go to Redondo Beach, I can't pass Jacks without ordering a large pepperoni to go. Yummy.

I went to this spot because it had such good reviews. I'm not from the area but I wanted to grab some pizza before going out on Saturday. The service was great, the young staff and the 1 manager in the spot were chatting loudly and greeting their regular customers. That's cool and all but the pizza was terrible. I would describe the Jacks Combo as vegetable soup with barely cooked crust. There was hardly any cook on the vegetables. They were in really large chunks too so you got to enjoy a mouthful of watery crunchy onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc straight out of the Ralph's Produce aisle. The dough was cooked and the sauce was fine. But the veggie combo could use another 5 minutes in the oven to fully cook/brown the produce. The leftovers spent plenty of time in my oven getting properly cooked. All in all I wish I got a sandwich, however I will not be tempted to return.
