Been to the Little Tokyo & Fountain Valley locations and tonight Gardena 2 Go location. On my way back home from Los Angeles decided to finally try this location. Place was clean, organized, decent service, and a large menu to choose from. I ordered the Spicy Hakata #2 Ramen 🍜, my wife ordered their Tonkatsu Ramen, & a side order of Karage Chicken for our daughter. Everything was delicious and both Ramen bowls came with a side of fried onions which you use as a topping for your ramen. I didn't remember the other two locations doing this, however it added just the right touch to the Ramen experience. We will return to try other items on the menu. They have quite a few items that you just cannot get on your first visit. Really good spot for Ramen with authentic flavors and quality aspects in Japanese cuisine.
A delicious selection of everything you’ve come to love from Shin-Sen-Gumi, starting with amazing ramen with limitless option’s and toppings, they also have delicious curry with great croquet options and also Yakitori options, the sets are amazing and very affordable. Make sure to try the spicy ramen or adding the spice bomb to your ramen.
I have driven past this place many times and thought I should eat there and never do. I stopped by today and was surprised by all the non ramen items they have. I had ramen and iced green tea (shin sen gumi is known for ramen and its what I eat at their other locations) . Interior is clean and staff provides good service. You order your food and take a seat and the food is brought to you. I feel better after eating the noodles than I did yesterday after eating a pastrami sandwich and fries. It's a fast food Japanese restaurant which is a nice option. To me Yoshinoya doesn't count as Japanese food and if you think Yoshinoya is Japanese enjoy your Chinese food from Panda Express. Parking lot adjacent and parking spaces directly in front of door is for pick up orders.
I'm so happy I found Shin-Sen-Gumi 2Go! I love the fact that it has a drive-thru. They're speedy and efficient! I'm never waiting long! The ramen is so yummy, and it hits the spot on a cold day. My daughter and I always get the #1 Hakata Ramen. It's delicious, and I enjoy that the noodles and broth are separate, making more enjoyable when you're ready to eat it together once you're ready to dig in. My hubby loves the #2, Spicy Hakata Ramen. He enjoys spicy food, so that's his go-to ramen. Their Gyozas are tasty and satisfies my potsticker craving. I definitely recommend Shin-Sen-Gumi if you need a quick ramen fix!
I have been craving oyakudon but don't want to walk in any buildings (because I don't want any covid exposure) and this place hit both of my goals!! And the food was delicious! This is an authentic Japanese food place and it's a drive thru!!! Truly a covid friendly place because it's stated to walk in or to go to the drive thru it's posted to wear a mask and for sure they were social distancing!!! If your craving any Japanese food except sushi this is the place to drive too!! Note: it's in the same shopping center as the 99cent store and the KuRa rotating sushi belt restaurant! Address: 18203 S Western Ave #104, Gardena, CA 90248 Hours: Open daily 10am-9pm Check out the menu by looking at my photos
Service was lighting fast and the quality of the ingredients are top notch
was in the area and thought i'd try out their fast option. did not disappoint! pork cutlet curry rice was brought out so fast it was a bit surprising. taste is on point, same recipes as the others in the restaurant group, just served real fast! ❤
Loved it. Their broth is so flavorful! My go to is the spicy ramen. Just wish the side items would be less expensive for such a tiny portion like the chili bomb and the garlic chips.
Looking to not cook tonight, we opted to go get some ramen at one of our local spots Shin-sen-Gumi 2GO. Grabbed of my favorite meals of theirs, the spicy Hakata Ramen bowl. The staff is always friendly, and take care to ensure your food experience is equally good whether you are dinning in or out.
Loved it. The staff is friendly the chef even gives you personal recommendations if this is your first visit. The perfect place to break into your first time with ramen....you might wanna order extra noodles your first visit; you'll want more and wonder why didnt you.
Great ramen shop! Totally recommend the spicy ramen with extra pork. Only drawback is the absolutely tiny water cups you get with your meal. Two sips and you need a refill.
First time here. Was delicious. Tried a bunch of little finger foods and GF got ramen. Glad to see they have a location closer to home.

Good ramen spot from the Shin-Sen-Gumi group. Their ramen is simple, yet very well balanced and delicious. They also have curries that are well made too. They do get busy for lunch, but it’s a quick turnaround and a good spot for a lunch break.
I enjoyed the karaage and the roasted garlic ramen. The meat to noodles ratio was a bit off (too little meat), but otherwise the flavours were great!
New location at Gardena Western Ave @ 182nd St next to 7-Eleven Drive-Thru, online order, take out & dine in of course. Originally located at Tokyo Central aka Marukai Market & Main food court & Redondo Beach Blvd inside the Pacific Square Market. Closed for moving due to expired lease. Not bad. The yakitori & the ramen tastes great best quality so far. The staff were friendly as busy as it gets. I have no issues. Just fine. Lot of Japanese, Asian, Mexican or Hispanic & American customers craving for yakitori, yakitori don & ramen. Very enjoyable. Entertaining. That’s that. I want to take my friends & family to Shinsengumi restaurant. Such great memories.
I've done drive through from time to time and I can't seem to get away from their curry pork cutlet udon... It's soooo tasty! And there prices are real reasonable... Makes an excellent meal, especially on a cold night!

My very first time trying this place. I ordered the Hakata Ramen. It is a very fast food casual type restaurant where you order at the counter. It's also a drive thru for convenience. They have indoor seating and a few tables outside. The inside is organized and clean atmosphere. I had one of their best seller, Hakata Ramen. The broth tasted a bit too sweet for my liking and a little too plain and watery. I prefer the thick, creamy broth. The noodles though was firm and good consistency. You can add different extra toppings if you like at a fee. I was a little disappointed considering I really loved the other location. Service was so dry, the guy at the counter taking my order was not too helpful. I think he would rather be elsewhere. A below average experience. With so many excellent restaurants I'm the area, especially Ramen, I probably will not come back at this location.

I have been ordering from them for a few years now, I can’t believe they would mess up an order when it’s black and white in front of you… will have to stop going here. Called to asked why, and what happened so I know if I should even reorder, the women on the phone did the standard ‘go through the app’ (used UberEats). I was not talking how to get repaid, I was asking if a BYEOND stupid proof mistake given the paper that has the order plan as day what it should be attached, can simply be avoided... How can you not admit you guys messed up on the order… horrible service, if you can even call it that. Looked more at the reviews and seems that you’re getting bad staff. I’ll have to take my business elsewhere and stop recommending these place. They have also made ZERO attempts to even try an make it right… what they have done is try to hide by removing the review from anywhere they can… sad.

Twice they've messed up my oder and I don't realize til I get home. Highly disappointing. I also had a drive through team member apply a tip to my order without my authorization. I didnt say anything because I didn't want to make a scene but they definitely need to do better.

Why does the ramen to go order, specifically the noodles come to me HARD, BLAND and COLD. When I go to the restaurant the noodles dont taste this way. So are the noodles being prepared different for to go orders???? I threw my noodles in the microwave with soup just to get them soft. Lost 50% of the soup just to get the noodles soft like I Initially requested. I love going to the restaurant because the noodles ARE soft and with flavor. 2Go orders apparently dont follow the same quality control. What a shame.
